We have been customers of Weld & Sons Plumbing for almost 20 years in two consecutive houses in the TC metro, and they have always treated us well. From rough ins for two complete tear-out kitchen remodels, a basement half-bath addition rough-in, to two water heater replacement emergencies (14 years apart), they have been our go-to plumbers, and I highly recommend them to anyone in the metro area. I didn't expect they would be able to fit us in today (a Monday) with no notice after our 14 year old water heater died over the weekend, but they made room in their schedule for us and showed up within 90 minutes of speaking with me on the phone. They were quick, efficient, and friendly. The install was tidy and looks like quality workmanship. Thank you, Weld & Sons for the long hot showers we will be enjoying for the next decade or more!

I highly recommend Weld & Sons Plumbing. I had a pinhole leak that caused a lot of damage. Not only did they fix the problem, but also helped me find a water restoration company to clean up and rebuild. No nonsense or extra charges. I had them comb back to do some more work after the emergency was over. They were prompt, friendly, knowledgeable, and cleaned up after the job was done.

Would recommend highly 110%. I recently completed some work on a duplex and wasn’t happy with the work my contractor’s plumber did. Called Weld & Sons Plumbing to have them come out. They were able to get me an appointment right over the phone. I received a reminder call the day before the appointment and prior to their arrival. Dayne corrected the concerns in both units in half the time I was expecting. Dayne took the time to answer all my questions; he was very polite and professional. Unfortunate that I couldn’t trust my contractor to find someone to do the job right the first time; however, I am very lucky to be a Weld customer now.

Outstanding service from Weld & Sons, from the front office to the guys doing the work in the field. On the coldest night of the year our old water softener sprang a leak at the main inlet pipe. Replacement was already overdue, and we didn't know how long we'd have to wait with so many people dealing with frozen pipes. Zach arrived even sooner that expected and was able to replace the unit the same day, for the price we had been quoted. Prompt. professional, polite, and thorough--and left the place spotless after the repair. We were happy to have them go above and beyond our expectations, and would recommend Weld & Sons exclusively for plumbing repairs.

These guys are excellent!!! Over the past few years we have had a bunch of different plumbers over to our place. Weld & Sons are by far the most professional, reliable and friendly plumbers we have had. We had them install drain pipes in our basement, which required them to jackhammer up the concrete floor. They did so in a very time efficient and clean manner (seriously impressive). Their plumbers were both super friendly and talkative. They offered advice on how to proceed with my project after they left. Truly a 5 star experience.

Everyone was very helpful, personable, and genuine. I had low water pressure in my home and the receptionist helped me troubleshoot it over the phone. When she had met her match she had Mr. Weld call me directly and he diagnosed it as my water softener without even having to make a house call. They came to install a new one (Zach Weld, one of the sons) and he too was very personable, genuine, professional, and instructive. He even noticed a couple of things that I should do to better prepare my house for winter (things to do on my own, NOT up sell stuff). Thanks Zach!! I will definitely be coming back to them with any of my other plumbing needs.

Weld & Sons replaced a sump pump for me this summer. I was really happy with everything. They came to my home the same day I called. The plumber was professional; the work was done well, and the cost was reasonable. Update - I needed them to come out and take a look at something with the pump about a year later, and they provided service beyond what was covered by the warranty. Another good experience.

My house has a clogged drain then causing the basement to be flooded. There was a technician come out already to fix the upstairs bathroom wax ring but they did not pay attention to the other details. Weld & Sons has great customer service, in particular the after office hour. Victor was very knowledgeable and even listening to my description, he was able to understand the issues, estimate the hour job, give me a fair hourly rate. I did not have to worry about the unknown overcharges for the other companies came out and always tell you "it depends". I had called over 5 different companies the people answering the phone has no idea what you are talking about, they are only documenting the issue and not able to answer anything. Victor however is the plumber himself, so this is different. He took time to explain the issues, and he made recommendation on site with what is needed, and did not try to rip me off by suggesting me to replace everything I did not needed to replace. They are upfront with the pricing charges so I don't need to worry about the overcharges. Their estimates on the number of hours of work needed to fix things are fairly accurate. They helped me with changing the faucet, fixing the faucet that was broken, and changing the main water pipe valves. At the end, they refer me to another company to take care of the Sewer problem as well (American Sewer) and that company was amazingly the best companies amongst all of the quotes that I have gotten. What I have realized is that almost everyone just tried to tell you that you need to fix many things but they may not be needed. Weld & Son and American Sewer are both very fair and professional and answer many questions I have. I just would highly recommend them!

Dayne did a great job with a faucet in my basement, replacing an ancient one and adapting the plumbing so the new one would fit. I was glad he could come out so fast and do such a great job! I had a leak in one of my water main shut off valves. I got quotes from three places, Welder and Sons came in at about 2/3 the price of the next cheapest option. The receptionists I spoke to were kind and knowledgeable. I was able to get a slot first thing the following morning and the plumber came on time and ready for the job. It was done within the quoted time and he was very personable answering additional questions I had. The work looks professional and I would absolutely recommend this company based on my experience

We had multiple plumbing issues we needed addressed, but didn't have anyone we trusted to call, so we continue to put everything off. Finally we received a recommendation to call Weld and Sons. We contacted them with our long list of items. They were flexible with us when scheduling the work, and were patient as we worked through all of the issues we needed help with. Clyde came out and did everything we asked, and spent additional time explaining certain things to us. He had great customer services, was friendly with my dogs, and spent a good amount of time. The pricing was fair, and we were really pleased with the service. We had one small issue that still needed to be addressed. We got the part and attempted to do it ourselves. Unfortunately we were unable. Clyde had called to find out how everything was after the fact and we mentioned we were unable to get the part installed correctly, so he put in a work order to send Kevin out to finish the install of the part on a continuance - meaning they didn't charge us extra for the second trip. Kevin was also very friendly, very helpful, and good with my dogs. He also took time to explain to me what was going on and why we were unable to do it without the expertise that he had. So thankfully between Kevin and Clyde, our monthly water bill will be reduced by more than half after addressing all of our issues. I absolutely would recommend this company, and I look forward to using them again when the need arises. Thank you for being an honest, fair company that values customer service.

I’m conflicted about writing this review. I hate writing less than perfect reviews for small businesses. We are new homeowners and we learned some tough lessons, like get your quotes in writing before they start the work. We had a very basic job - run an existing gas line 4-5 feet and install a new gas range. At the end of the day, the work is done, but at more than twice the price we were originally quoted. We were surprised that permit fees weren’t mentioned in the quote. We were also surprised that the duration they quoted was double to finish the job. I asked if anything went wrong that increased the duration and they said “moving an anti tip bracket” to account for an extra 1 hour... It was a tough $700+ lesson for an appliance install.... almost as much as the appliance itself... Next time I would do things differently and have the plumber do the gas line and have Home Depot do the install. Maybe some of it was our fault for hiring an over qualified person to do an install, but that is what the office suggested we do when we called to schedule.

We had a mystery sewer smell happening in our house, and previous plumbers that came in were exceptionally unhelpful. Weld and Sons came out and tried to help us locate it. As our luck would have it, we couldn't get the smell to happen once he was there, so he offered options for how to proceed and went through potential pros/cons and costs associated with different options. We decided to have a leak detection company come out (a company recommended by Weld and Sons) and once we knew where it was coming from and had the wall opened up somewhat, Weld and Sons came back and did a great job of fixing the issue without needing to cut any further into the drywall. He also thoroughly explained the problem, how he was fixing it, and what materials he was using and why. He also educated us about some general things he was noticing about our plumbing, which will help us if issues arise in the future. They were respectful of our house and I never felt they were trying to run the clock or charge us more than necessary. Weld and Sons will be our go-to plumbing company from now on!

Had a plumbing "emergency" on a Saturday morning. I called the main office number, described my situation. I received a call back within an hour from the tech on call, Dan. Dan came to our house and was kind, courteous, very professional, and solved our problem. I called three other "24 hour" plumbing companies and they could not come out for at least 48 hours. If you need a plumber do yourself a favor and go with Weld and Sons. We had our galvanized steel plumbing replaced and a new water heater put in. Work was done on time/ahead of schedule, the price was competitive, and cleanup/finished product was excellent. Based on my experience I won’t use another plumber besides Weld and Sons.

Great from start to finish. Where they really shine is the guys who come out and do the work. Absolutely fantastic. I see reviews by some people talking about the "pissy office lady"... "And the guy who did the quote", I've been In their office multiple times to check on my quote and to pay my bill. Sure, not everyone is fawning over your every move but damn we're all doing a job here, right? And I did not have those issues. Anyway, like I said earlier, where these guys shine, was the guy who came out to do the work at my place. In and out, friendly as hell and knew his $**t. I've got a fully plumbed basement bathroom and I wouldn't hesitate to call them for any other plumbing work I need.

I was replacing an old dishwasher and ended up unexpectedly needing to swap out a valve and some supply hoses. A neighbor recommended Weld and Sons for their quality work. David showed up the same day and was very professional. He did high quality work, and with the remaining time on the service call he talked with us about some future projects we are considering and made some excellent cost saving recommendations. We will definitely be going with them in the future.

I couldn't be more pleased with Weld and Sons. Within 2.5 hours of arriving on site, the water heater was installed. The estimate was pretty close to the final bill. Everyone I interacted with were pleasant and professional. As a follow-up to my initial review, the inspector found a shut off valve that couldn't turn. I was pressured to take a less than convenient date for the rework. The plumber was 20 minutes late and I had to leave him in the house while I was out. A second bill came for the rework. Both of my calls to the office resulted in no acknowledgment that the work was incorrect the first time. Overall, they were fine. I wouldn't not use them again, but they wouldn't be my first choice either.
