Good service. My service tech was very nice and professional. Let me know what was going on during the procedure and easy to talk to. Only problem I have is that is a bit of a bait and switch. Says $94 per drain but there was a $75 fee for something. Didn’t argue just wanted it done so was $169. They were here within 2 hrs of initial phone call and was happy enough not to inquire about the fee. The service tech was very pleasant and no point in ruining someone’s day for something they can’t control so I let it go. Overall satisfied.

I made of the HUGE mistake of dumping a big batch of chicken soup down my garbage disposal on a Saturday afternoon. As soon I I did this I knew there was a problem. I tried to handle the clog myself, but could get the snake that I had deep enough, so knew it was time to call in the professionals. I search the Internet for a plumbing company who could come out and take care of the issue over the weekend without ASTRONOMICAL emergency fees. This is when I found Discount Plumbers. They advertised clearing the drain for $94 as well as a $75 service charge. I was a little apprehensive on what the additional fine print might be, but thought I’d give them a call. I reached out at 9:30 on a Saturday night and received a call on Sunday morning from William that he had one more appointment available for Sunday afternoon. I confirmed the cost and booked the appointment. Unfortunately, I received a call around 12:30 stating that they had an emergency come up and kindly asked if they could reschedule for Monday morning. I told them I understand emergencies and that wouldn’t be a problem. Monday morning I received a call from Sage stating that he would be here by 8:20. He was right on time. We review the issue with the clogged drain and reviewed the pricing. He did indicate that if it took longer than an hour, he would need to charge an hourly rate of around $90 (can’t remember the exact amount). Sage did state that it should only take him about 45 minutes. Off he went to take care of the mistake I will never make again. 30-35 minutes later he was done snaking the clog, put the plumbing back together and the water was draining perfectly! Sage was very professional, bright and super friendly! I would recommend Discount Plumbing to anyone! They were FANTASTIC to work with!

This was my first experience with a professional plumber as a (female) homeowner. My dad used to help me with all my plumbing needs prior to this. Once I noticed my floor drain backing up after doing a load of laundry, I needed help. I called on Monday morning, they gave me a 2-5pm window. It was approaching 4:15, I called to see if someone was still coming out that day and they stated they were running late. That was fine, but I had evening plans so I rescheduled for the next day for 9-12 widow. The tech, Mark, called and let me know he was 30 minutes out. When he approached my house, he was very polite and asked if he wanted me to wear his shoe guards. I showed him the problem area, and we went over what our options would be and the long term benefits of hydrojet vs. the snake. I ended up doing the hydrojet because my home was built in 1948 to clear 70+ years of sludge. Man was I happy we did that! After he finished that process, he looked underneath my utility sink and was concerned about the plumbing trap the prior owners installed. Not thrilled about spending additional money I agreed to have it replaced because I knew it looked wrong. Mark was very friendly and compassionate while remaining professional in a situation that was a first for myself. Being a female homeowner, sometimes you can feel like they are taking advantage of your lack of knowledge, but I did not feel this way with Mark at all. He was a great tech, did a great job of explaining everything and if you get him, you will be lucky because he does a very through job. Site was left clean and tidy. In the pictures, you can see the pipe that was not hydrojetted where the opening is very clogged vs the one that received the hydrojet and is pretty much open. If I were to ever need a plumber again, I would definitely use Discount Plumbers.

Chris showed up early, called first to make sure that worked for us. We had sewage backing up through the main drain line into the basement and he was able to free up any clogs and remove debris that helped cause the backup. On his way out he noticed the drain for the softener backing up and asked us if we'd like him to clean that up as well, which he did. All seems to be working now. Friendly, knowledgeable, honest and quick service. Would recommend to anyone having issues.

Unfortunately I have no way of knowing where the price came from because I did not ask for a breakdown. Make sure you take the time to go over the quote when they give it to you. Ask for a full breakdown of the cost before signing.

EXTREMELY satisfied. It's a bit of a long story, but a different plumber (complete SCAM ARTIST at Aqua City) put on a big show about what a horrible situation it was, would need to order expensive parts, would take hours and hours, etc... He wanted to charge me $1,400 for a replacement, and charged me $89 for the opportunity to witness his impressive theatrical performance. So I called Discount Plubming. The plumber (sorry, I forgot his name) arrived in an hour or so, it was a simple 30 minute fix for a leaky valve, and the total cost was $250. The plumber was professional, courteous, clean, and efficient. It seems many others have had positive experiences with Discount Plumbing. I have already recommended them to a neighbor!

I had some minor leaking when flushing my toilet. Instead of waiting for a family member to come over and help I called discount plumbing. They were able to come within 3 hours which was really nice, but quoted me $355 to replace the wax seal because he wasn’t sure how to remove the toilet which seemed ridiculous. Not sure why a plumber doesn’t know how to remove a toilet or why they don’t have the resources to figure it out. I opted to pay the $55 trip charge.

I found a pipe under my kitchen sink that was so corroded that I was actually able to stick my finger through it, so the following morning I called Discount Plumbers to set up an appointment, they were able to get somebody over to my house immediately. They sent Clint who was amazing! Unfortunately my pipe issue was more severe than I even realized and my pipe was corroded throughout the length of it, I really appreciated Clint showing me exactly what the issue was and tackling the unique condition I had, my house is older and the pipe layout was not typical but Clint was able to find a solution, he did a great job!

Would definitely use Discount Plumbers again. Do be aware that unclog jobs that run over an hour can raise the price above the bold advertised total, but that was not the case for us and regardless, it's a reasonable policy. To aid in efficiency, we had the space cleared, prepped, and were on hand to run water when needed. We also understood well where the issue was as it's a yearly problem, so all that was in our favor. All in all, great experience and wonderful to back in full drainage again!

Mark came within about 1.5 hours of first calling them to clean out a clogged drain. It was a tricky situation with a stubborn blockage but he was persistent and was able to get it cleared. My husband and I had a tech out that performed a sub-par repair. We are very impressed with how seriously this company took our concerns, and how they went above and beyond to apologize for our experience and take accountability! I have updated my review to reflect that I believe this is a company who puts their customers first. Full original review below, if interested. This is going to be a long one but TLDR: tech performed a fix that was not technically correct, which caused their work to become faulty after a little less than a year and put us out hundreds more dollars to get a proper fix completed, even though we called and the same tech came out to examine his work and claimed he found nothing faulty with it beyond "normal" wear and tear. (Wish I had a license number for reporting purposes!!) Last spring, we found that one of our pipes had burst. We were happy at the time with the quick response and the same-day fix. However, this spring, we noticed that the joint between the new pipe and the old pipe was leaking. I called Discount Plumbers to request someone come by, so the same tech John came back to our home to re-assess the work on 4/11/22. John examined the new leak happening with his work and said that it would be full price to fix the new issue, because it's "normal" for the O-ring in that type of joint to fail. We understand as customers that this falls outside the 30-day warranty, but later we learned from another plumber who came to give a second opinion that John's original work had essentially set us up to fail. In his original 2021 "fix," John had installed a fitting that would leak under pressure, and then installed a shut off valve without a bleeding valve. So when we winterized the pipe, it air locked and completely prevented water from draining. It's lucky for us that the pipe didn't burst again, because despite proper winterization, it very well could have. When an office manager reached out to me about this issue, he was very professional and acknowledged that our experience wasn't what they want for their customers. I'm grateful that our concerns were taken seriously and that this company takes accountability for providing high quality work.

Discount plumbing tech arrived on time. Called ahead to confirm which was nice. Had a difficult drain clog in my 50 year old house, the laundry tub drain was backing up in the floor drain. He worked at clearing the clog nearby the drain and also ran the snake out to the street to clear out any issue there too. Very professional and thorough. We have a tree in front that sends its roots into the line, once a year the main sewer line starts to back up and needs rootered. Immediately! Having the home service plan was getting tricky, they argued it wasn’t covered and/or wanted to charge additional fees on top of annual payment (like hundreds more) so we cancelled and have been going it independently. Thus far not impressed enough to call anyone back. Called around this time and Discount Plumbers answered, scheduled for next day, and arrived on time. This was our 1st time using Discount Rooter and Plumbing. We were very satisfied with the services provided. They were able to send out a tech within 1.5 hours off calling for a quote. They were very prompt and affordable. Our tech Grant did a great job clearing out our blocked sewage line. He was very knowledgeable and explained what he was doing. Great experience all around! Aside from the drain backing up that is. I was given an estimated time frame and price quote when I called. It cost exactly what I was quoted and our service technician Nick showed up closer to the early time than the late which is always nice! Nick was very nice and took his time explaining what he was doing and did an excellent job! He checked very thoroughly to make sure the problem was fixed before he left and gave good recommendations for future prevention but was not pushy about anything at all. I very much recommended them and will call them for any future plumbing needs.

This company is affordable, reliable and great employees. In addition to already being affordable, no extra fees for weekend appointments! We had our main line and kitchen line cleaned a few months ago. They came the same day we called. However recently the main started backing up. I called to check warranty and found out it was past that. After I received that information I hung up in preparation to call another plumber feeling frustrated. Not even 2 minutes later I received a call for the manager stating they offer 100% customer satisfaction and will come out today to fix the problem. Brian showed up very promptly and was very informative and professional. I sure learned a lot from him today.
