Rocky was unbelievable! He was able to trouble shoot my water heater leak over the phone and saved me tons of $$. He was super professional, helpful and really cared about my situation. 5 days after they fixed my water heater, Rocky even helped me trouble shoot my HVAC issue over the phone and knew exactly how to fix it without having to have a tech come to my house! A+++ highly recommend Jim Trombly and specifically Rocky and the tech Fred who came to my home and fixed my water tank leak in a timely and professional manner!!

Last night our basement heat stopped working, so this morning I reached out to a few companies to see who could come out to take a look. There were some companies I never heard back from, and others who couldn't get someone here for a month. When I called Jim Twombly, someone actually answered the phone and was helpful! They were able to schedule an appointment for me two days out, but then called when they had a cancellation came up & asked to come today! The technician Fred was helpful and polite. We had self-repaired some of the issues that came up earlier in the day, and rather than looking for things to fix so he could charge us more, he was very honest, only replaced what needed to be replaced, and was out in less than 2 hours. The bill was incredibly reasonable. I would recommend Jim Twombly to anyone who needs plumbing or HVAC work done!

Highly recommend! Dylan from Jim Trombly did a great job and is extremely knowledgeable. I called them for a 2nd opinion after Heritage Plumbing and Heating red tagged my propane boiler and told me I needed $3,800 worth of work.... Dylan came cleaned it and said he couldn't believe Heritage red tagged it. He fixed 2 Hy-Vents cost $51 in parts and 2 hours of labor after cleaning and going through everything very thoroughly.... He said the burners had some rust but were in working condition. He saved me $3,500 and now I am a client of Jim Trombly for life.

Amazing! Jim Trombly Heating and Cooling installed a new air conditioning system into our home 3 years ago. They were so courteous and professional and prompt. Their quality of work is fantastic and they got everything done within a day. They also took the time to educate me along the way and told me to contact them anytime with any questions or concerns. Their costs were better than any I saw and they drove an hour to my home to do the work. They are a superb outfit.

I sent the pictures with an explanation through my smart phone and within days had a detailed estimate. Dillon was the service technician sent to my home. He was thorough, professional and polite. Had them come out to give a quote on replacing my old boiler with a new condensing boiler. I had already chosen the boiler I wanted and they were willing to listen to why I wanted that boiler and were willing to source the boiler and install it per my request. I had 5 other quotes for the same job from other companies in the local area and some of those companies tried to sell me a solution that wouldn’t be as good as my proposed option and when they would agree to install the boiler I chose, it was always significantly more expensive.... and in some cases DOUBLE the cost. Jim Trombly’s gave me a fair quote and price for the work that was performed. Frank also called me the next day after giving me the quote to let me know I qualified for additional energy rebate that I didn’t know existed. He didn’t have to let me know about the rebate but it saved us a ton of money. The new system was installed in 2016 and has performed great and reduced our heating bills by at least 30%. Fast forward to 2018 and we have only had one issue with the boiler and that was a $11 sensor (under warranty) that failed and needed to be replaced. Called in the morning and they sent someone out same day and replaced the part. The labor cost to replace the part was fair and I have no doubt in my mind that other companies would have charged twice as much. Bottom line is that they perform good work for a fair price.

They are always on top of the latest codes, and take their time to explain all options.They have serviced my residence, my rental property, and I recommend them to all of my friends. The technicians are beyond qualified and I've never had a problem with any service call. I know when I call Trombly the issue is as good as done. They are a quality business for sure.

This was an average for me. There were many pluses but also a lot of negatives. 1. it took forever to get someone booked to come do the work. I emailed and called and it would take days to hear from someone. 2. The plumbers were late on the first day by 2 hours. Which then they tried to play catch up and was rushing around. 3. There was an issue that occurred and while it wasn't their job to fix it they kind of just stood there waiting to see what i can come up with (it was a new situation for me so i didn't know what to do) 4. The plumbers were very nice don't get me wrong, they did a great job and cleaned up after themselves. But running late, rushing, causes concerns and errors that will be missed. Also we had them replace our drywall from what they cut out, my wife's colleague came to fix it because it wasn't done right. So i paid more money for not so great work.

Our boiler died during the coldest part of February this year. I got 3 local quotes. I met with Frank Trombly and he clearly was the correct choice. Not only based on price but based on knowledge. He was clear and up front with us and had a good solution to our big problem. After the first day of install when the house was warm again the pipes started banging. I called Frank and Trombly came back out later that same day. They took care of it and stood behind their work. Glad we called Trombly and we will keep their number handy.

The Jim Trombly company replaced my oil furnace with a high efficiency gas furnace. They did the entire job in one day including oil tank removal, gas line inspection and meter set. The guys were friendly and left the basement cleaner than they found it. Best of all, Frank Trombly, recommended a gas boiler that both efficient and easy to install. The right choice in equipment resulted in a total cost that was thousands of dollars less than two other estimates.

I had to two minisplits installed which work great and keep the temperature within 2 degrees of the setting. A couple of months after installation there where some issues so the crew spent the day figuring it out free of charge. Turned out to be a manufacturing setting within each unit that had to be reconfigured and they've work perfect since. I would highly recommend them.

They have installed both a furnace and central a/c for us. Incredible service during and after as well. When we had some buyers of our home who were being difficult we spoke to 3 different people, Rocky, Chuck, and Adam who spent a lot of time and were invaluable. I have been a customer for nearly five years. The quality of work is excellent. Any problems are minor and quickly solved. I thought the bill on a frost free hydrant was a bit aggressive, however another bill for a water treatment system was reasonable. A billing problem was quickly solved. Given my experience with plumbers over the years, J M Trombly is clearly your best bet.

Had an issue with my garbage disposal .They came the same day. The first plumber on site was a little less knowledgeable and needed another tool. The second guy who showed up knew what he was doing and got the job done. Price was a bit higher then I would of liked and may have been less if the second guy had showed up first but I am very happy with the results.

I have used Trombly for a few years...I found them to be VERY responsive in emergency situations (broken pipe through ceiling on Thanksgiving eve 4 years ago), but recently I have been very disappointed with the plumber that was sent. On 2/3/14 I requested service to update some bathroom fixtures (among a few other things). This plumber was borderline rude. After replacing a faucet in our pedestal sink (which had been in the house x 25 years with no issues), the sink was unstable with the pedestal not balanced on the base. It had never been an issue before. The plumber actually intended to leave without pointing out the damage!! I happened to notice it when he was in another bathroom - when I pointed it out, he offered to caulk the base to the pedestal. When I told him that was unacceptable, since the sink was stable (there are 3 teenaged boys here who use that sink and it has never wobbled), he reluctantly agreed to fix it...and was VERY unhappy about it the entire time. I called the office to let them know that this guy was rude and attempted to leave after breaking my sink without telling me...and have never received a call back or any confirmation that someone in management is aware of his attitude and poor customer service. When I needed a plumber back here...they sent the SAME GUY! I will be sure to request someone different from now on, but really - I should not have to.
