We had Brian S come out from Bill Trombly and he was amazing. Our shower handle broke off in the afternoon and the only thing we could do was shut off the main water. I called and they were able to get a tech out within 30 minutes. Brian arrived and he did an amazing job. He needed to cut into our wall to access the plumbing and he was able to change out the whole fixture. We are so lucky to have called Bill Trombly Plumbing and have Brian come out.

I called at 8 AM and the service Tech was at my door at 11 AM. Unbelievable. I thought I would have to wait for days to get my heater fixed. The Tech came in and repaired my Direct Vent heater set me up for a yearly service plan and left. This is just one of many times I have called Trombly for help and they were there every time. Deep freeze temperatures caused my oil to gel which led to the furnace turning off and not heating the house. Even with space heaters, a section of pipe over my garage froze. Kyle came out and as we were assessing the furnace he went to the truck and saw water pouring out of the area above my garage door. He quickly turned off the water to that section and advised me that the furnace would need to be off until the next day when repairs could be done. He was on time both days and fixed the problem. He gave me advice for prevention should these temperatures again occur. He cleaned up after himself and was friendly, courteous, and professional throughout the encounter.

I had a very good experience with Bill Trombly plumbing. I had both Jake and Dave in this morning to fix my finicky toilet. They answered all my questions and got the job done quickly and cleaned up after themselves. Both guys were both professional and friendly. My only question is when looking at the invoice that was e-mailed to me, it says I "could of" saved $19.00 today. Ask your tech. By the time the invoice is mailed to you the techs are gone. Maybe they should say something while they are still at peoples houses.

Brian S was energetic, positive and friendly. He was clear in what he was going to do. He was reassuring. He replaced an emergency shut off valve which turned out to be defective (manufacturer's error). He cheerfully put in another hour to take out what he had done and to start over from the beginning. No charge. His attitude remained positive throughout. He was a real spirit-lifter after over a week without a second toilet in the house. We want him to come back. Just to visit!!

I went to their office for a clogged sewer pipe that I desperately needed to be repaired. I had never used them before. They were able to send a plumber to my house within 30 minutes. The plumber was very professional and very thorough. I was very comfortable with their recommendations and did not feel like I was being offered some thing I did not need. We understand it was a very busy day but we would have appreciated a text or call when it was unlikely that the technician would be able to get to our house despite scheduling this appointment nearly two weeks ago. Fortunately our experience with Dave was terrific! He got our drain working again.

My recent experience with Bill Twombly the Plummer is very disheartening. He came out to find and repair a leak that occurred when the bathtub was full. Understandably he had to cut Sheetrock under the tub to access the pipes, completely a routine operation . He was getting paid by the hour already but it insisted on a “cutting Sheetrock” surcharge resulting in him getting paid twice to do a routine task. He said he found and repaired the problem and left with his $500. The next filling of the tub showed the problem was not resolved. He came back out and stated that he would have to get a second person to work with him and wanted $575 to fix what he said he had already fixed on the first $500 visit. I said to myself that this guy is a clown or rip off artist. I removed the chrome cover that goes over the tub overflow drain, it took two screws and literally 60 seconds. Bill Twombly hadn’t bothered to do this simple and logical step. I immediately saw a gap between the tub wall and gasket that seals the tub to the overflow pipe. It had been installed upside down, being a tapered gasket. This was not Twombly’s mistake but should have been one of the first places to look when trouble shooting the problem. I spent 90 minutes, a visit to the hardware store and installed a new $3.75 gasket myself. Now everything is dry and secure. If Bill Twombly had been allowed to return with a second person, a $3.75 gasket replacement would have come to $1,100. To summarize, Bill Twombly Plumbing is either completely incompetent or a rip off artist. DO NOT CALL BILL TWIMBLY PLUMBING. ** UPDATE** Mr. Bill Twombly, Jr. posted his phone number in his response, so I had a meaningful conversation with him about my initial review and the circumstances of his technician's visit. I believe him to be a sincere businessman concerned about the reputation of his family's business. It is unfortunate that we had to jump through the extra hoops, but he did make adequate adjustments and has spoken to his technician. I have changed my review to four stars as a result. If you should have any issues with his services, please contact him directly by using the number he gave in the response. He is a reasonable person.

We had a partial main line sewer clog. I called three other companies on a Friday morning and the quickest anyone could get here was Monday or Tuesday. Bill Trombly was able to get a plumber to my house by 2pm the same day. Dave B. explained exactly what he was going to do and answered all of my questions. Our main line sewer pipe went in some unusual directions but Dave was able to get the snake through eventually and cleared out some tree roots. He confirmed the roots were clear with a video camera. We appreciated how he put down some blue plastic to protect our wood floors from his boots and equipment. I also asked him to write up a quote for some other plumbing work that will eventually need to be done. Will definitely hire them again. Thanks Dave!

Thank you so much! Alex and the entire Bill Trombly team amazing! He came out this morning after our boilers had stopped working, and was able to quickly diagnose the problem and help us troubleshoot a solution. When it became clear that the problem wasn't with our equipment, but was actually a chimney that was plugged up, he and the Trombly team got in touch with a chimney company that was able to clean it out. After that, Alex came back and got our boilers working. With it being a Friday and a snowstorm coming tomorrow - I was anxious that I if we couldn't get it working we may have to figure out how to drain all the water from our office so that it wouldn't freeze over the weekend, but Alex was willing to come back this evening and help us drain our system and weatherproof the office. If I could give John Hanna more than 5 stars, I would. He and his assistance Jake are what is known as A+++ service. I had plumbing issues that needed attention in my newly renovated home. I had my hot water heater replaced by the fantastic team of John Hanna and Brendon. From the moment John arrived he explained what and how he would be completing the work. When they needed to ask a question - they began it with "Do you mind if..." Our Larrs FT boiler had been in constant service for 4 years. Worked beautiful from day one, but, some seals gave out, wet the inside, frying the control board. We are grateful Bill Trombly sent Alex. He arrived with the parts we knew we needed and as he was thoroughly taking the unit apart he found additional sneaky leaks. Yes, this meant no heat or hot water for another day but Alex insisted on making the repairs stick. Alex felt connectors on a circulator would not seal well when put back into the unit, he insisted this be replaced and Mr. Trombly agreed. This was all under my extended warranty. Alex spent quality time finding the additional parts needed form TWO sources. As soon as the parts arrived, Alex to return the next day and he had the boiler rebuilt and heat and hot water for us in 2 hours. But Alex, was not done. A new control board with outdoor reset often needs fine tuning and He wanted to come back in the morning. One, to be sure the unit maintained through the night and to speak with Tech Support to adjust the parameters on the new board. He was truly elated to come in to a warm home that next morning and hear that we had plenty of hot water, too. He had told us when he got home he studied up on the boiler as much as he could. He enjoys his work, wants to learn, and is glad to be working for Bill Trombly. They listen and empower their Techs. We also wish to thank the Office Team for clearing Alex each time and providing support with parts rush. Text notifications worked excellent.

Had a furnace install done in 2020. The furnace failed in 2021 and the experience with the people that answer the phones was setting us up to believe it was on us to buy another one, just a year later which was not a good experience to say the least. However, the manager came out to take a look at the failed furnace and stood behind a mistake made by one of his installers. They had a replacement here the next day, a Saturday, and a team ready to install it. In about 4 hours we had heat again. After it all they did right by us for sure and I would recommend them to anyone with a cautious reminder to have the annual service scheduled ahead of time.

There were two gentlemen, and so professional. Talked and walked me through the entire duct cleaning process. I must say I was amazed that the most up to date technology was used, a camera at the end of the cleaning brush, and I cannot tell you how informative these men were. They displayed my vents via an ipad of some sort that was connected to the camera going down into my vents and the attention to detail in assuring each vent was left spotless, well I cannot say enough! One big PAT ON THE BACK, my daughters diamond earring which was lost, so we thought was found in one of the vents in her room and this was given to me by the gentleman cleaning the vent. When our water heater died after only five years of use, we decided to move to a tankless system. John H. explained what would be involved and he had a Comfort Specialist come the next day to assess what needed to be done, take measurements to order supplies, and provide an estimate of the job. John and another technician returned on a Saturday to install the additional gas line needed to support our gas needs with this new system and to install the system itself. He and a colleague worked long and hard all day to try and finish the job as he knew we were without hot water. In spite of his best efforts, he had to return on Monday to finish. We've just undergone a complete boiler and hot water holding tank replacement and were without heat and hot water for 13 days. Needless to say we were more than ready when our heroes Johnny and Brendan arrived on time and on schedule from Trombly plumbing and heating after having signed a contract with them the previous week. Knowing that we were out of heat and hot water already for 8 days, Trombly P&H shifted some other customers around to accomodate us as early as possible (thank you, other customers, and sorry to push your work back!) John and Brendan arrived at our house on time on day 1 (of what we were told would be a 4 day job) and quickly sized up the situation, removing the old boiler and tank in what I could only describe as a nasty wrestling match with a far superior opponent (the boiler.) It was removed quickly and NOT easily, but they put down dropcloths and other material so as not to soil the finished basement carpet. The entire boiler area had to be replumbed and a new boiler and hot water tank installed and these two guys worked like a well oiled machine to get everything installed and running as quickly as possible. While John was plumbing the boiler, Brendan was installing fresh air intake into the boiler and they worked side by side to get us up and running. The job took 3.5 days, just shy of the estimated time given to us by the Trombly team. These guys were pros. Courteous, professional, nice guys, both. Answered every stupid question that I had about well...everything, with a smile and they both explained in detail that even I understood about boiler function and plumbing and heat exchangers, and well...just everything. These guys are welcome in our house ANYTIME and ANYWHERE. They are awesome. Our dog even loved them. I hope when maintenance season comes next year that they show up again! The plumbing was done like modern artwork and the craftsmanship and attention to detail was fantastic. These guys are a treasure! They even texted to inform us of when they would be arriving in the morning. Great five star experience. I wish I had enough money to give 'em both a $100 tip!

This is my second service experience with Bill Trombly, a Fall heating service. My first experience was for the Spring AC service with Trombly. After having fifteen-years of preventive-maintenance (PM) visits through my Trane systems original vendor and experience these two services from Trombly, the difference is night and day! The level of detail that the Trombly techs gave my system was absolutely top-shelf. They performed maintenance tasks that were NEVER accomplished in fifteen-years by the original vendor. Thankfully the quality of this Trane system was able to overcome the past vendor's PM deficiencies but the maintenance tasks performed this year will certainly help add several years of quality life to my system. When I am ready to replace my system I will have no reservations about using Trombly to replace my system. Being dispatched to address my concerns without a previously scheduled appointment, John did not have sufficient time to complete the work on his first day, and was booked the following day, so he had to come after hours. He had offered to help with a couple extras, but was too tired to complete them. I made two trips to Home Depot to purchase and return items for the extras. After being assured repeatedly that certain charges would be waived as a courtesy, the bill was still a surprise. The bill may been more than expected because of my not purchasing the correct fixtures at Lowe’s, but was probably more my naïveté about labor costs than anything else. He had to come back a third time secure a shower fixture that was forgotten.

All I have to say is that if I have a future problem with my HVAC system, make sure you send ALEX to take care of it!!!! The guy has a super work ethic and is someone you know that you can trust. He showed up late in the afternoon to work on my "dead" air conditioner. I figured he was running late for supper, so he would pull out some sort of an electronic device hook it up to the outdoor AC system and pronounce it DOA - end of story. I was figuring it would cost me at least six grand. Not with ALEX. He spent at least 2 hours running back and forth between the furnace and air conditioner. He showed me how to clean the furnace filters, which were filthy. He then took the outside AC system apart and showed me the unit's condensor which was"bulging" at the top. He replaced the condensor with a new one, put the AC unit back together and turned it on. He waited for the system to start pumping out refrigerated air and then started taking pressue readings at various vents. Suffice it to say that I was impressed with the way he went about analyzing the problem at the same time explaining the signifigance of what he was doing. I told him that I had stopped getting the annual check of my HVAC system after 4 years because I didn't feel like I was getting value for my money spent. I had had the system for 8 years and was willing to accept the notion that it was shot. I am probably overly skeptical about some of the maintenance analysis I have received in the past. However, with ALEX I have to say that I would accept his analysis without doubt based on his demonstrated performance. He is just the type of person you know that you can trust!

Our tankless water heater stopped working on Wednesday. We called Bill Trombly’s on Thursday morning. A repair person was at our house by noontime that same day. Unfortunately, the heater which was probably 30 - 35 years old could not be repaired. Starting with Cheryl, like Bill, she wears many hats and gets the ball rolling. She dispatched Carl, a comfort advisor, to our residence. Prior to his arrival, I had spent hours researching mini-splits and had a long list of questions to ask. Upon entering our home he donned booties over his shoes. Matter a fact the entire team wore booties and were very respectful in keeping our home as clean as possible during the three day installation. Carl not only answered every question but listened attentively to every question. He came up with the best fit solution for our home. It was a four zone, 36 thousand BTU Daikin system. Not only is Carl knowledgeable, but he is not afraid to get his hands dirty. He climbed into our two attics and made suggestions, taking photos along the way. All of his efforts paid off for the installation team. Brian, heading up the team with Brendan and Nick, showed up promptly and spent the better part of three days installing this complex system. Terrific service and a great problem solver! Our tankless water heater had a recurring problem since 2004, no other service company was able to resolve it. Last year we decided to give Bill Trombly’s company a try - Shawn serviced it and took care of the issues and maintenance points that others hadn’t addressed. Because of our positive experience we called them to clean our split ductless A/C which was emitting a moldy odor. Again, another company wasn’t able to resolve the issue, but Shawn (again) did a “bag wash” procedure and we observed that it was much more thoroughly performed than previously. Shawn is polite, personable and most of all is knowledgeable and experienced – he provided us with very useful insights and explanations.
