From beginning to end I was extremely impressed with Austin and Mr. Plumber as a company. They arrived on time for both the estimate and the work to be done. They were not pushy with any sales and very knowledgeable. They advised on many aspects I needed to consider with the age of my water heater and certain things that were not up to code. They quoted a fair price in comparison to other estimates I had received. They were quick, kind, and explained to me all they completed when finished. Overall 10/10 would recommend. 😃

A 10/10 experience from start to finish! We noticed a leak in one of our bathrooms around the toilet. I called Thursday afternoon and they sent a technician by 10:30 am the next day. Before the technician arrived I received a call with ETA and a text sharing a picture of the technician and a fun and friendly bio about him. It can be stressful to let a stranger into your home. The text was a small but personal touch that really eased my worries. When the technician arrived he wore shoe covers to prevent tracking in any dirt. The technician quickly assessed the issue in our bathroom and explained exactly what would be done and what costs would be involved. All fair prices. Not more than a half an hour later he finished replacing the wax ring for our toilet and cleaned the area thoroughly. As much as it stinks to have a leak, the process was as stress free as could be! My husband and I considered doing this work ourselves but the money spent on hiring a professional was well worth the time saved and piece of mind it was done right! Thank you!!

Chuck was wonderful! I will recommend him to our friends. We had a really tough clog in our kitchen sink and he had to work on it for an hour, resorting to the bigger cable. He really worked up a sweat and still had a sense of humor. We only had to pay the $93, and was so relieved when it was working again. Thank you, Chuck! Drew did an exceptional job of performing flush maintenance service on our water heater. He thoroughly explained shut off procedures and reset the temperature which had been set too high. He also explained some of the other features of the heater and made recommendations. Drew performed a thorough inspection of the rest of our plumbing. He gave me quotes on several possible upgrades. I used them for my personal residence. Had a leak that flooded my pantry and front livingroom which forced me to shut off my main water line for almost 2 days. Contacted Mr. Plumber they quickly sent someone over to diagnose and repair the issue. Conner Young assisted us he was very professional, kind and thorough in explaining what the issue was and what he was going to do to fix it. The technician didn’t give up trying to clear the sewer line. He ran the router through the line, multiple times, until he felt the clog was dislodged. He even asked for a camera technician to come scope the line, to ensure there was no damage to the pipe. Both employees were pleasant and knowledgeable! Mr Rooter wanted to charge me 450-750$ to unclog my clean out drain and when I said that was ridiculous, they wanted to charge me 60 dollars to try to rob me, so they left my house without getting a penny! And Mr Plumber came out and worked with me on pricing and the maintenance guy Chuck did an amazing job; stayed till the problem got solved, kept me informed on what was going on and I'm just overly impressed and so very appreciative! Edited 11/20/22, with initial estimate for work to be done, I was told that I would need drywall repair after the shower surround was installed. I was ok with that until realizing after the job completion that I have a new costly project. I chose the new shower surround because of the age of the pipes, needed to be fixed and the new shower was the best option.

Frank Chaney came out and explained everything that needed to be done with the new hot water install.. he was very knowledgeable and professional the next day Eric and Josh Biddle showed up to do the install both men were very polite professional and knowledgeable and performed all the services that mr Chaney told me would happen. This unit was in the basement and the install guys were very neat in the replacement my concern was that my carpet would possibly be soaked or ruined pulling out the old,..I did not have to clean up anything, these guys are definitely team players and would use them again. I called Mr Plumber on a Sunday afternoon and scheduled an appointment for Monday.The appointment I made was to look at my kitchen sink that wouldn't drain and was leaking underneath. Hunter was the technician who came out to look at my sink. He got the sink to drain, fixed the leak underneath and even showed me things I could do in the future before I would need to call a plumber again. He also gave me advice on another plumbing issue I was having and gave me an estimate right on the spot. He was very professional, punctual, knowledgeable, and most importantly fixed my plumbing issue. I would highly recommend Hunter and Mr Plumber.

I thought the service was a water heater flush and inspection - but it was a flush and "home plumbing" inspection. All it included was draining a few gallons out of the tank and testing the valves under my sinks/toilet. I thought they would drain the tank, pull the anode and heating coils to determine if they needed to be replaced... The tech, Jeff, that was sent to help with a wounded (not dead) water heater was very professional, didn't seem to mind having to lay on my not-so-clean basement floor to diagnose the problem. Although he was unable to solve it because $#&@! Whirlpool squirrels their parts away from reputable plumbing outfits like Mr. Plumber, he helped me find out how to order the part which was surprisingly covered by warranty. Shipping cost me $26 for next day, which isn't so bad. I'll likely install the part myself, even though Jeff told me that there would be no service call for a return visit since he was unable to fix the old beast -- not his fault, at all. But there would be undoubtedly a labor charge. I think I can handle it after watching him. So it was $100 bucks to confirm what I thought the problem was, but it was fair, and Jeff was very nice. Mr. Plumber got me on the right track to fix a really irritating issue (boiling water on the stove at 6am for a very unpleasant bath ). Would recommend.

I called Mr. Plumber for the $93 or free deal. I was dealing with a clogged toilet that I couldn’t plunge. Luckily, I no longer live in a single toilet house, so I called to schedule an appointment for non-emergency services. Scheduling was easy. I got to pick a two hour window for arrival time. The day of my appointment, I was given a curtesy call by my technician letting me know he was on his way. I also received a text with a picture and bio of the technician prior to his arrival. Christian arrived on time. He assessed the situation and fixed the clog all within 5 minutes. He spent another 10 minutes making sure there was no further backup, issues flushing TP, etc. Paid the $93 as promised and he was on his way!

Jonathan was our technician to unclog a drain line. He was very knowledgeable with the process, and checked the layout of the pipes in the crawlspace to assess the best location to snake the line from. He got it draining freely in about 30 min. We’re very happy with the service and for the cost of $93.

Hunter Helvie committed no less than FIVE HOURS to unclogging our sink drain under Mr. Plumber’s $93 unclogging service, which is no charge if they are unsuccessful. Three other companies had previously failed to unclog the drain (and one charged $150 for the trip) and we were staring down a costly pipe replacement if Mr. Plumber was unsuccessful. Hunter persisted, called in support as necessary (including a video scope), and the Mr. Plumber team ultimately succeeded! They charged nothing additional for the video service, the additional technicians, and the total was just $93 as promised!!!!! Highly recommend!

The gentleman was expected to be here between 8 am and 10 am. He got here and took a look at the leaky pipe in the crawl space. He came back up after 15-20 minutes, and he gave me a couple of options. One was to just repair the leaky pipe, and call it a day. The other option was to do the whole house and that was going to have to be done sometime shortly because I don't carry that much money on my person. none the less the price was nonetheless the price was agreeable the job was done and there are no more leaky pipes for now. The gentleman did a great job and I will call him again if I ever need anything else. The gentleman was a five-star worker. Kudos to Mr. Plumber!

I had Mr. Plumber install a water heater and softener 5 months ago. I paid for an extended warranty. Four days ago, one of the pipes was leaking out of an overflow valve. I had four service visits over 3 days with the first 3 technicians indicating they could not fix it. After the runaround, the third service technician contacted the plumbing supervisor and a fourth service technician was assigned. The fourth service person - who originally installed the water heater and softener - said that he was "sorry for not looking up" at the pipes and installing it properly 5 months ago. As a result of his error and not doing his job properly the first time, I had to pay again $535 to repair his error and poor workmanship from 5 months ago. I did get an approximate $200 "discount" for the 3 days wasted on this repair, but no accountability for their own installation error. When I paid for a water heater and softener, installation, and a warranty, I would expect it to be done properly. I will update the review if Mr. Plumber makes this right. Otherwise, be wary of having anything installed, warrantied, or addressed in an appropriate manner. EDIT: Mr. Plumber reached out to me and provided a refund indicating the job should have been completed correctly the first time and that they valued me as a customer. I appreciate the refund, but did not really feel valued with all this hassle. Hopefully, subsequent experiences will be better in the future. 3 stars (up from 1) given all the hassle but an attempt to right their mistake.

I had called All around Town looking for help with getting the main line unclogged..I was told from $600 from Benjamin Franklin plumbing all the way as low as 250 from "24/7 heating and plumbing" and I called everyone in between and I was told the same thing multiple times it will cost hundreds of dollars but when I call this particular business and ask them how much it would charge just to come out and do the service I was told $93 just to unclog an main line. The gentleman they sent out was very professional and courteous and he even showed up 3 hours early he gave me a call beforehand and asked would I mind him coming earlier versus coming later and I didn't mind at all it actually worked out better that way.. I would recommend the service to anyone who's working with a budget and needs a professional to get the job done correctly. Without trying to overcharge you hundreds of dollars.

This is a a new review for a different service call. Today we had our water heater replaced. Travis and Eric did an excellent job. We actually have two water heaters that were working together and one was bad. So they replumbed them so they can operate separately if need be and replaced the bad one. In the future we can shut one off if need be. Scheduling was easy and the guys arrived on time after calling and were extremely efficient and neat. I highly recommend them. *****************************************+++ The resin in our water softener deteriorated and impacted the water pressure in our shower and some of our faucets as well as the washing machine lines as it clogged them with this resin. Jon immediately identified the problem and was able to successfully clean out all the lines. He also had to replace a couple of cartridges. He also identified problems with two toilets- one was running all the time and the other had a loose seal he was able to repair those items while he was here as well. Jon was personable and very professional. He took his time and fixed everything. I was very happy with the service. The company is going to be installing our new water softener later this week: I would definitely recommend Jon and Mr. Plumber and would ask for Jon next time I need a plumber.

The cerw was on time and did a very complete job of installing the new sumpmpump and backup system. They had to cut a hole in the basement floor and the dig down about 3 feet to create the sump. They worked very hard and got the job done in 1 day. They cleaned up their mess as best they could. There was a lot of mud to deal with and never got any dirt on the carpet or tiled floors. Once technician arrived he was friendly and did what we needed and made a suggestion to resolve a reoccurring issue without trying to be turn it into a high pressure situation. Only frustrating thing is when they call to verify you are home before arriving, they don’t leave a voicemail so you know to call back. I even told them when scheduling that our phones send unknown numbers to voicemail bc of spam calls and to leave a voicemail when they call. After not arriving in the window of time allotted, I called and was told they tried to call and it went to voicemail immediately but neither of us had a voicemail. They were able to put us on call so that as soon as someone could they would show up but it was 3 hrs after original time passed. Alls well that ends well though and I would definitely use them again for drain unclogging.

Called Monday and got a Tuesday afternoon appointment to replace a leaking faucet valve. Work was done quickly. My only complaint is the price. They have a $94 trip and diagnostic charge, $300 for the first value and $100 each additional. The trip charge basically nullified my $100 off coupon. Some other places don't have the trip charge if they do the work, but Mr. Plumber still adds it on.

We have the sink clog problem and tried to solve it by ourselves using snake. After three hours of trying we gave up and called the Mr plumber and luckily got a same day spot available. Had Mr. Plumber come out to fix a leaking pressure regulator. They replaced it & tested it, checking other locations in the house. When he left everything was fine. Then several hours later when my spouse got home it was leaking again, in a different place. So much so that it soaked through a beach towel in a few hours. When we called to tell them they said they’d have dispatch send someone out immediately to repair it. When that person called he said he didn’t have all the tools on his truck & may not be able to fix the problem, but could come look at it. We declined and had the same person come work on it first thing in the morning. The new leak was due to the fact that the connection to the main water line wasn’t fully made since the pipe was on the other side of the drywall & they didn’t want to cut through good dry wall to check a connection - it seemed like all was fine when he left the first time. This time he cut out a section of the now spongy dry wall (which had been poorly patched by previous owners) & he redid the whole thing in copper & new connections, instead of the PVC that was there originally. All is now working just fine, there was no extra charge for the second day’s work & I was very pleased with the plumber who did the work. He was very professional, kind, knowledgeable & easy to talk to. We feel we paid more than we should have, but I know a lot of the cost is more than just the parts, you’re paying for quality work by experienced professionals, that’s backed by their warranty/guaranty & service package. We used them for another repair in January when we messed up something we tried to fix ourselves. So while it may be considerably more than what it would be if we did it ourselves, it’s done right, and by someone who really knows what they’re doing. Mistakes happen, but they fix them!

I’m leaving 5 stars cause the technicians were great and did a good job, but be careful when they tell you it’s “93 or free” for a main drain clog. Apparently that’s only if they can get it with the metal snake. If they have to use the “jet” (it’s a pressure washer attached to a long hose) it’s gonna be anywhere from $500-700. They only charged me the $500. Sure I could have said no and called someone else but who knows when someone else would be available. In the end the clog was removed. So again I’m not upset or saying avoid them by any means. But just be mindful that it’s absolutely not “93 or free”

Mr. Plumber Saved the Day! We had water soaking up through our floor in our front room and immediately we had called a plumbing company for this emergency. It even started soaking up through our kitchen pantry and we had to clear out the bottom! The first company we called unfortunately didn’t follow through completely with their promises and basically left our family (we have 3 children and a small dog) without any hot water for way longer than necessary. After being told over and over that “the other company” was sending out their leak detection guy no one ever came and I had called multiple times and was told repeatedly that they were coming. We have never dealt with an emergency of this type so I was amazed how a company could do this to us!! By now it is evening time again and I call Mr. Plumber frantically trying to get a company out here. Immediately they get me scheduled in and Brock shows up the next day in the morning ready to help. After he showed up we got the ball rolling pretty quickly thank goodness! He was extremely knowledgeable and after assessing the situation he basically pinpointed where the area of the leak was coming from and we got the leak detection company to come out within the hour!! Brock then knew for sure the exact location of the slab leak and after accepting his offer the Mr. Plumber team came that very next morning with jackhammers and all and very neatly did their fine job of finding, documenting, and informing me along each and every step of the way about our unfortunate slab leak. They were highly professional, very friendly, very respectful, and they knew exactly what they were doing. I really wish that Mr. Plumber was the very 1st company that I would have called. Finally my family has hot water again and a piece of mind knowing that Mr. Plumber had saved the day! I highly recommend this company and absolutely will be calling Mr. Plumber in the future if we ever need to!!! 100%

I called mid-morning on a Monday and had a competent plumber in my home by mid-afternoon. He called before he came and was safely outfitted in a mask, gloves and booties that he would put on before he re-entered the house. My home is only 2 1/2 years old and the clog in the plumbing line came on suddenly on a Friday. When he arrived Monday he thoroughly inspected the entire system, including going into my crawl space. He ran all the relevant water sources and isolated the location of the clog. He also gave me tips on how to minimize the chance of it happening again. He also sent me photographs he took of the plumbing in the crawl space and the area that he cleaned out with his tools. He was courteous and knowledgeable and I was SO HAPPY to again have water on the affected half of my house. I have had service contracts with Williams Comfort Air/Mr. Plumber, for years and will continue to use them for my plumbing needs. Their servicemen are prompt, polite and get the job done!
