Zach and his team did a phenomenal job! I couldn’t be more happy. They were able to very quickly diagnose the problems and provide a same day fix. Both employees were extremely knowledgeable and professional. They listened closely and patiently to my concerns. I was kept informed throughout the job about changes and problems they found. Joel was extremely friendly and did his best he could to try and resolve the repair issue with the shower but unfortunately he discovered bigger problems and through no fault of his own, could not fix the actual problem. Since I have a home warranty, I need to go through their system and use one of their contracted plumbers to do the repair which Joel said was more than likely behind the shower wall which will probably be a great expense so it is more cost effective for me to use my home warranty insurance. I do appreciate Joel's efforts and time and sincerely wish JD Precision Plumbing was a listed plumbing contractor for Choice Home Warranty so I could continue with your service but I am limited to their contractors. Thanks again for so quickly getting a technician out to my home.

I've been using JD Precision for a while now. I like that they show up on time, do professional work, and stand behind the work they do. They are very price competitive on many things. Not so much on the leak I had today because of the side of the pipe (I think it was 2.5" on a water well). But that's ok, they are very reasonable on all other charges and they do very good work.

He was thorough and diligent while testing to identify the leaks, repairing them, and he took the time to clean up the area. Called them for an emergency weekend service, they didn't have anyone right away but scheduled next morning. Called me a couple hours later and offered to send someone that night but it was late so we kept the appointment in the morning. The technician was very knowledgeable and friendly, explained what the problems were with the water heater and why we needed a new one. He offered multiple options to help us with the unforseen expense. He got it all replaced in about 2.5 hours, and fixed the drainage that wasn't up to code.

Called them after experiencing a sewage stoppage. RJ came and, throughout the entire time he was here, clearly and concisely explained what he was doing and what the problem could be. After figuring out that it was beyond the property, went above and beyond to help me get in contact with the right people to get my problem fixed. While he wasn't able to fix the problem I was having, the amount he did to ensure my problem would be fixed has made me place my trust in RJ and JD Precision if I ever have a problem in the future. They did not fix the toilets, which needed new flush valve kits. Technician seemed to think you could not repair older 1.6 gpm toilets (not true, you just can't buy them in Texas) and quoted me a new toilet instead! I'll fix it myself. Outdoor plumbing valve work was done well.

JD Precision is great! Zach Wooten, our technician, was so polite and helpful. He came out, immediately and easily assessed the work needed and provided a quote. Zach went the extra mile to find the exact faucet we wanted in short order! He found it locally so it didn't have to be special ordered and, therefore, could be installed quickly. We needed that because there was a hefty leak going on under the sink! Also, Zach always followed up as promised and made sure we got scheduled quickly for another sink that needed repair. All work was done thoroughly and completely. This is not our first experience with them, by the way. Each time they have come out, the work has been done well and efficiently. The technicians are well trained and work very hard to ensure your satisfaction! Would highly recommend JD Precision Plumbing!

Pros: JD Precision sent two technicians to repair a leaking toilet wax ring - they listened and professionally addressed the problem, taking necessary precautions to protect against damage to the bathroom and cleaning up and replacing items moved. I am pleased with the work that was done. Cons: Though this is the first time I have had to call a plumber, I was surprised at the cost for a job that took 1 hour from arrival, start to finish and departure - $366. I was also promised a receipt via email but all I have received is two requests for this review.

Excellent experience all around with JD Precision Plumbing! I called because my hot water heater was leaking. They were able to come out and give me a FREE estimate for replacement the same day I called. Before the appointment they even send me a BIO of the technician (Dalton) that was coming to my house, which I thought was a nice touch. The person they sent out was professional and fully explained the two quotes he sent over. The next day I decided to go with the bid. I called them and they had Dalton back out by 2:30 that day! So far everything is function as expected. I would definitely call this company again for my plumbing needs.

The service crew was excellent. They were prompt (actually showed up before their scheduled date), professional, and did the work efficiently and the quality appears to be high. There was slight snafu with the payment in that I wasn't informed ahead of time about the additional fee for using a credit card. However, they compensated me for this oversight; a gesture for which I was extremely appreciative. Hopefully, there were no in house repercussions for this. I would certainly use JD Precision Plumbing Services again.

While Mr. Prescott did a preliminary inspection, he opted to come back two days later to perform a more detailed investigation and prepare the estimated cost to complete repairs and schedule the service which involved extensive external excavation. Mr. Prescott was very careful to listen to my concerns, including major family events, happening concurrently and present me with a plan that addressed my concerns. While expensive, the excavation and repairs were completed as indicated. Previous service that failed to correctly address this plumbing issue were deducted from the total cost of repairs. A final walk-through insured we were satisfied with the work that was done. One issue that was not addressed to my satisfaction was discussed and I provided the requested info on my cost to replace a destroyed landscape shrub. Subsequent communication with JD Precision Plumbing resolved the issue and costs were credited to my account.

Whun Prescott was the plumber that came out - I cannot even begin to say enough good things about him. Before he quoted me to trench under my foundation he suggested we try a couple of other things. Saved me over $30,000 based on quotes from other companies. He was so courteous and he absolutely wants to do what is in the customer's best interest. I will never call another plumbing company!!

I am editing my previous review which is posted below. I was a bit cranky. Some of my previous still stands. I do believe the first tech still doesn’t enjoy his job. But he was nice. Maybe he was having a bad day. The first install job was still awful and had to be fixed. And the second tech made everything pretty but wasn’t it just working right. This third time everything now looks and works as it should and I am satisfied. They worked with me to get me in the next day even though they were booked up. They sent a tech AND a field manager to come out to fix my issue. They were able to find and fix all the problems and I am now 100% happy. Disappointed it took 3 times but i’m happy they were willing to be so helpful. Previous post: This will be my third time to have a tech out to fix my shower. We had the old knobs and valves replaced in our shower and the first tech left it a mess. He also verbally expressed not liking his job, not to me but under his breath. Nothing was fit or put on correctly so I had to call them back. Then today I finally got to use my shower since we have been updating our old bathroom and the diverting valve is not working correctly. I’m over this and just want it to be fixed.

Ben, contacted later in the evening to check in and make everything had been taken care of, even though we went with someone else. The other company couldn't actually do the work until Monday. Ben gave me a quote for Sunday and one for Monday and we went with JD Precision instead. Ben didn't come out and do the work, but he followed up again after the technicians left to make sure I was satisfied. Had a leak behind the valve under the sink that I replaced so I called JD Precision around 1pm for an estimate to see what they might be able to do. The receptionist scheduled someone between 2 & 5pm that day. The technician arrived around 4 and was very quick and efficient. He identified the leak and also examined the faucet. After the repair was complete, the technician needed to run a pressure test, and we discovered our home builder did not add a readily accessible cut-off value for our gas stove. (Drain cleared for free if it's only a hair clog and if clog equipment doesn't have to be run through the drain pipe). Rainy day after Thanksgiving. They wanted to come earlier than appt time frame. We said no. Apprentice/helper was very cordial, professional, and friendly. Technician seemed tired and not into being here. Maybe he wasn't up to it the day after Thanksgiving (?) Which is understandable. Getting another opinion to check prices. Prices seem high to me but I'll change my review if they are not over charging me. Thank you for coming out.

Great service, available 24 hours per day. We seem to only need help at night on the weekend, but they are still responsive and professional. Whun Prescott helped us clear a mainline stoppage and sewer line replacement due to roots in the line about a year ago with great results. He also noted at the time that there was an issue with the city main, but of course the city didn’t concur. I recently had another Stopage and used our home warranty providers plumber to no avail trying to clear the line. Whun came out on short notice and cleared it in minuets. He also took the time to run a camera to ensure there were no issues with the line, but identified the same issue at the connection to the city main. We had a great experience with JD Precision Plumbing. We bought a house with 2 x 20 year old, 50 gallon, water heaters in the attic. I wanted to replace them with 1 tankless unit and be done. I got a couple quotes and JD was the lowest, but I also asked a lot of questions about the process as I've heard horror stories about poorly installed tankless water heaters. I felt comfortable with the answers and Keno, the person who estimated and would do the installation work (I always prefer when the same person estimating does the job). Long story short, the job turned out to be a little harder than they expected but they finished it and there weren't any extra charges. The new heater is working great! I'll use JD for ongoing plumbing needs.
