If you're looking for a Mom and Pop plumbing service call Paul yaall. One call did it all. My 🚽 was flushing slowly and making a gurgling sound, Paul knew exactly what the issue was over the phone and 20 minutes later after snaking the vent on the roof problem solved. Very knowledgeable, polite and reasonable. They will be my first call in the future. Thanks Paul.

Kitchen sink wasn't draining, I was recommended to try DSM D&S. Dustin was dispatched, arrived on time and fixed the issue within 10-20 minutes. He was very knowledgeable, extremely friendly and took the time to let me know how I could prevent this from happening again. Rates change but I can say it was very fair and surprisingly cheap. If you are in the DSM area with plumbing issues, these are the guys you need to call!

These folks are GREAT! They were able to come out the same day and unclog my kitchen drains. I have had them out several times to unclog my kitchen sinks. Each time they were professional, quick and friendly. They clean up their mess and remove and put my items back under the sink. I highly reccomend them and will use them again.

Tdrain was backing up ona Friday morning. They had us all fixed up before the day was over! Paul came out and cut the roots right out of the drain, and we were flowing again. He was honest, and didn't try to use any special equipment, or overcharge us. We'll definitely call them again in the future!

We have a older home that came with the older plumbing. My kitchen sink was clogged again. After speaking to a couple of my co workers I called and they arrived same day on schedule. Honest friendly service they cleaned up after themselves. I will recommend them to anyone! Family owned and run business. The pricing is fair and resonable. I had to sneak a tip in there. If you need a plumbing company please give these folks a call.

Called Golden Rule who came right out and determined that they did not have the equipment necessary to reach the blocked pipe. They referred us to DSM Drain & Sewer who came out in about 2 hours. Very polite, professional, respectful of our home. They got to the problem in under 30 minutes and everything is working great now. Dustin was excellent and explained what caused the issue. Will use again for sure!

Our main drain line from our house started backing up on Saturday morning. We called and they fit us into their schedule last minute! Dustin showed up, put the camera down our drain, and found the problem within 10 minutes. Cleared the line, and then gave us a handful of helpful tips to prevent blockages in the future. We had the opportunity to use Des Moines Drain & Sewer a few weeks ago when our kitchen sink/dishwasher line and a bathroom sink continuously clogged. Another plumbing company had already been out twice - and they recommended we give Des Moines Drain & Sewer a call - citing they had better equipment and could camera down the lines (if needed). I'm extremely grateful that I called - our tech was amazing! Everything was fixed within an hour AND the work was guaranteed for 30 days! Something the other company was unwilling to do. Did I mention they were also more affordable?! I cannot say enough good things about this company - they will be my go-to for any drain/sewer related issues we may have in the future. Thank you!

In our West Des Moines home, we had a bathroom sink with a very slow running drain and a faucet that would not dispense hot water. Roto Rooter was unable to fix the former and Holt Plumbing could not fix the latter. Jeff came out and repaired both problems in less than 10 minutes. We strongly recommend Des Moines Drain & Sewer!

Super pleased! Called this morning with a clogged toilet and small back up. He was able to schedule an appointment yet today, called when he was 15-20 minutes away, came in with a drop cloth and removed his shoes and went to work. Definitely recommend and will be calling when I need anything to do with plumbing.

All the rain we have had my basement had two inches of water and the wet vac wasn't making a dent. Called Des Moines Drain and Sewer early morning and said they would be there that afternoon. Went to Home Depot to buy a water bug best investment. The water bug got the water out of the basement and kept it from building back up. The man came on time was very nice and was able to unblock the basement drain within 20 minutes. The cost was very reasonable (under $100) and he was very honest. I will recommend this place!

As we were installing a new washer, the hot water shut off valve busted and was leaking everywhere. I called about 5 places and DSM Drain & Sewer was the only one to answer my call AND offer to come out the same day! He said he could be out to our house within the hour. It ended up being closer to two and half hours, but he apologized multiple times as he was held up on another job. I honestly didn't care, because he still made it out on the same day and so nice and helpful. The charge was extremely reasonable! He didn't try to rip us off and even helped finish the washer installation. I would recommend them to anyone! If we ever have plumbing issues again, I would not hesitate to call again.
