A day later I almost cut my finger from a damaged drain basket from the work done. Then I get an invoice in case I want the drain basket replaced. Maybe you will have better luck....

Had an issue with the Inner workings of our Shower Faucets. We have an older Home and no telling when these were last replaced. Great job to get this fixed at a reasonable cost. The service performed on this visit was an inspection that was included in the annual service plan. The technician was very knowledgeable and professional. The inspection was very thorough and included recommendations that could reduce the likelihood of future issues. Prior to this inspection, I called Meetze because of an emergency with our dishwasher connection. They were prompt to arrive and quick to resolve the issue. I highly recommend Meetze Plumbing.

Haven't personally checked the work in the crawl space, but from what I can tell in the bathroom, David appears to have performed a quality installation. Update 10-4-22: After the posting below Meetze called back to find out what happened in the miscommunication between me and the online scheduler. Meetze quickly rectified the situation and offered a discount on the work. The plumber was on time, professional and did what appeared to be quality work. I would now recommend Meetze for residential plumbing. 9-27-22. Called the number today to talk to someone about an issue, got automated service. If issue isn't within the 4 choices it hangs up. I went to the website and an online CSR began the online chat to obtain needed information. She sent times available and verified that I was within their service range for lower rate; thus I made an appointment. I took screenshot of said information and even got text confirming date/time, in-service area. Ten minutes later another Meetze CSR called to followup. She told me I was not in the service area and my desired appointment time was unavailable. I asked about the discrepancy from online, was told "online support doesn't see what is available and the service area." I decided to cancel and give my business to another company. Why does Meetze have both online and human callers following up when they don't know what each other are committing? Hope plumber doesn't show up, I'm not paying

They came out today and had to dig up a small portion of my yard. Roots had gotten into the sewer line and causing major problems. When they completed the job, it did not look like anyone had done anything in that area. It was covered back up very neatly. Chris did an excellent job of detecting the issue of our leak. He was on time and even took off his shoes. He maintained a professional demeanor but still shared his (funny) human side with us. Master plumber Kevin Barefoot came to diagnose my water heater not heating. It turned out to be an internal leak and it had to be replaced. He took note that some of my pipes and the way it was originally installed was not up to code. Kevin took time to explain and show everything to me, walked me through the process of what they would be doing and gave me a quote before starting the replacement. He had a trainee with him. I called Meetze Plumbing to come give me an estimate on fixing my problem. I will say that they came out promptly and were courteous, but they charged me $49 just to come give me an estimate. I felt the estimate was exorbitantly high to replace some outdoor faucets. I finally got the work done later for less than half what they wanted to charge me.

First, my water heater died so I Googled plumbers. Based on some of the reviews I read on Meetze Plumbing, I felt confident enough to give them a try, so I made an appointment online. Prognosis, I needed a new water heater. I had no reservations about this since my old water heater was 20 years old. The technician gave me a verbal estimate for the new water heater. The next day, two technicians came and installed the new water heater, which was in the attic. I believed them to be professional, knowledgeable, and efficient in what they were doing. They took their time to make sure the job was done right! However, when I received the paid receipt by email, there were no itemized prices to show how the estimate was determined. As a consumer, I would have liked to have known how much I paid for the new water heater, how much I was charged for labor, etc. Overall, my experience with Meetze Plumbing was good, and I would recommend their services.

I called Meetze plumbing for an estimate to replace my main sewer line from the house to the city connect. The woman who answered the phone and booked my appointment was extremely sweet and friendly. They had one of their technicians, Coley, out to my house the next day. He arrived early (as planned/adjusted) was friendly, knowledgable and patient when my kids were...well...being kids. He had an estimate for me quickly and it was, I felt, competitive and fair. We ended up going with a different plumbing service only because of personal connections. Otherwise I would have been happy to have Meetze do the work.

Very knowledgeable and responsive company - a technician, friendly and amicable, came over within a hour. He thoroughly explained why my water heater needed to be replaced. I believed him too, as my heater was 25 years old. However, the quote to replace the heater was three times that of another plumber. If your bottom line is money, consider shopping around.

On time, very professional, Friendly. My appointment was set for 4pm-7pm, they called and asked if they could come early. The Plumber came and had the problem diagnosed with in minutes, and the repairs were done with in an hour. I highly recommend them for getting your plumbing problems fixed. Pricing was a little high, but I am a firm believer that you get what you pay for in some things.

Install a dish washer. They did a great job and were very nice and professional. The only issue I had was the price of the service, I supplied the dish washer and the parts they needed to install it and it took them less than an hour to install the dish washer and they charged me $452.00 before tax to complete the job. The invoice listed something they provided but I asked the guy did you use any of your own parts and they said no 🤔. It seems like they are close in line for what other people charge though which I think is still price gouging. Less than an hour of work should not be $452.00 an hour for labor but I guess I'm just in the wrong buisness.

My granddaughters Samantha and Olive’s bathtub/shower wasn’t working. The plumbers came in late and told Olive she needed to hold her stopper up for 10 seconds to take a shower. However, that made it worse. That night, Samantha took a shower and said that the water overflowed in just a matter of five minutes. I don’t know if Olive did it the wrong way or if the plumbers made it worse. So disappointed ☹️

Todd came the same day I called about our busted water heater to assess the situation. Since our water heater was beyond repair (as we had already assumed), Todd came up with a plan to replace our old water heater, as well as solve some other plumbing issues around old house, starting first thing the following morning. He showed up right when scheduled and worked for several hours until everything was fully resolved. We really appreciate his hard work in getting our home properly functioning again, better than when we bought it. He was also very kind and friendly to our toddler and dogs who were all big fans!

I just paid $9,300 for a replumb and after being told I had a $430 credit from a previous call and work done on my plumbing. The plumber said that if I had a complete replumb done, the credit would go to it. Company will not get back to me about anything extra that could be done as a wash of the credit, since they won’t actually take it off of the bill. They keep stating ,”we’ll call you back”, or ,”let me talk to someone and see”. Need my tub drain and overflow done (for some reason not included in the whole home drainage replumb). Don’t offer if you can’t commit. And very little communication between dispatcher and worker since no one knew what the other was talking about.

Amazing Service from Nick — I recently discovered a leak in my crawlspace, and gave Meetze a call on the recommendation of a friend of mine who had recently had a similar issue solved by their team. It was a bit difficult getting a straightforward quote from the first couple of techs who came out, but on the third visit they sent Nick, and he was absolutely outstanding. He is coming back out to actually make the repair next week, but before I forget, I wanted to go ahead and leave a review to say how much I appreciated his expert professionalism. He diagnosed my situation efficiently and accurately, and did not try to make me pay for more than I needed. The outside water was turned off and the disassembly was undertaken. Appears there was no faucet on the truck. Wait for delivery and chat with truck driver for a time. Update: we got a call back from the owner of the company. He had really nice conversation with my husband and offered us a full refund! We were positively impressed! It’s great when people really care of their business! Thank you for responding to our complain. It was very caring of you! I had a clog in both of my toilets and the remains went to a bathtub. The guy showed up for app on time, he was nice etc. He decided that it’s a problem in 4” wide main line and “cleaned” it for a charge of 400$. I offered him coffee, and even tipped him. However, he left and in an hour problem returned. When my husband finally got home from a trip (military), he realized the that plumber left a line opened, and all water and remains just went underneath our deck (where plumber was fixing a “problem”). So it seemed at the beginning that the issue was resolved. My husband checked that just 10 feet away from the main line opening, the 6”wide sewer line collapsed. That is where the real problem was. So we paid 400$ to a company who can’t even make a correct diagnosis. We called the company 4 times and were promised to get a call back from a manager called Andy. This has never happened. We were offered to fix a problem for a FULL PRICE again. Ridiculous. My husband fixed it himself, spending a good amount of money. We never were offered refund or at least partial refund. Nothing. Just ignore. Worse services ever, worse customer service ever. Hope our money will make very “happy” the owners of the business. Clear rip off. Never ever again. Stay away!!!

Had an issue on a Sunday with toilet not flushing and shower not draining. Called Meetze plumbing, left message with their after hours phone service, and got a call from one of their technicians, Wendell, within 15 minutes. He had a few jobs ahead of me, but was still able to get to me in about two hours. Wendell was nice, polite, clean, and did a great job of clearing out the main line drain. Wendell explained what was causing my issue, and told me what was needed to fix the issue and was, in my opinion, very fair in the price for clearing the line, $198 all together (which is about $100 less then most of their competitors.) Will definitely call Meetze Plumbing again when and if I have another issue. ***UPDATE*** I called Meetze plumbing again, about a year and a half later, for a slow draining pipe. Wendell and José arrived WITHIN MINUTES of my call. They scoped and snaked the pipe and got everything flowing again quickly, cleanly and efficiently. Great people and great service!

Andy and his partner, Kevin, were prompt and professional. They reviewed our concerns, some old toilets that were running and a leaking valve. Andy and Kevin took some measurements to assure that the elongated seat on the one new toilet would allow enough walking space in one of the bathrooms and the elongated will allow that. One of the existing toilets is almond color. Andy checked the warehouse and found us a colored one to replace it. That toilet could not be replaced today of course, but they got the bathroom ready for the toilet to be installed when it arrives. Before any work was started, Andy gave us an estimate that included all the worst case scenario options. Replacing the flanges ( I think that was what he called them) were not necessary, so the final price was less than the estimate. The cost was within the range I expected to pay. While here, Andy and Kevin performed the annual maintenance on our tankless water heater. I had forgotten about the annual maintenance, so I appreciate Andy bringing it up. Andy and Kevin did a great job. They were conscientious enough to lock all the doors that were unlocked during their stay plus shutting off all the lights behind them These are trivial items, but much appreciated by this homeowner.

When I called Tammy answered the phone and was very responsive of our needs to resolve the sewer issue we were having. She immediately dispatched MJ and Jose who were very professional, COVID safe, and were able to resolve my issue right away. What impressed me most is that the sewer issue I was having was actually the City of Columbia's problem and MJ took the time to explain this to me. He laid out my options very clearly and helped me make the best decision possible. Unfortunately I had to pay for Meetze to fix what the City of Columbia should've fixed but I was under a time constraint. MJ and Jose were able to fix the issue in no time and I feel the money paid was worth it. They even gave me a military discount and I hadn't even brought it up. We called Roto Rooter and they came out and charged us $250 just to run the camera into our sewer line. Called Meetze and they jetted the line, came back and ran the camera for the same price. Roto Rooter told us we had to replace the whole line after only viewing a portion of the sewer line but Meetze ran the whole line and told us we only needed to replace a small portion. As far as Meetze Plumbing, the company, I’m not too impressed. If I do call them again, it will ONLY be because of Corrie. I am disappointed with options I was provided by Corrie’s supervisor. I recently had my bathroom updated and we thought the leak may be a faucet valve. Meetze has NOTHING decent to offer that would come close to matching the faucet. It didn’t have to match exactly, merely blend. His supervisor suggested I go purchase the parts and they would install. For a repair it should be turn-key, not DIY! Very poor advice from a supervisor. It doesn’t appear that customer satisfaction is on his radar. I am extremely satisfied with Corrie’s service and determination. Hey supervisor, maybe you should take a lesson or two from him! If you offer the same advice to all of your customers I doubt you will have repeat business! Oh wait, your prices are so high you might not need repeat customers.

I'm not saying that they didn't charge a fair rate, but it just seemed high to me. Also,, every other company in the city may charge the same rate. It was just sticker shock to me. On the good side, they were able to get me on their schedule quickly, and they seem to have done a good job. I'll definitely consider using them again. If it is a big job, I might get a competitive quote to make sure it's just sticker shock and not a real issue with the price.

We had a plumbing problem, called, and received “instant gratification” by having a service technician sent out. We’ve lived in the same house for 39 years, and the house has been renovated several times. Corrie Williams, the Service Tech that came, is the first technician we’ve ever had that suggested a service contract to cover all plumbing issues. The service agreement is extremely reasonable, and covers a multitude of areas, including ones I never would’ve thought of! He was here for several hours descaling our Tankless Water Heater, checking every pipe throughout our home, and never left until the entire process was completed to our/his satisfaction. Corrie came the day we called ,11/27/2018 on time. After talking to us about what we wanted done; he was patient in explaining what he could do and gave us an estimate. Corrie removed a defectiive dispose=all and added a new drain connection. He found abondon cloths washer and drine line connections hidden in a wall and capped them off. Finally he unstopped the kitchen drain line leading to the house sewer system'. We had gotten an independent contractor to look at a water leak from a pipe on our ceiling. He had turned off the natural gas off. We didn't have hot water due to our pilot light being off. We inspected our water heater and it was obviously leaking being 20 years old. It is obvious that the water heater needed replaced. We got an estimate for a new water heater 50 gallon a new tank hut and installation for $2,450. I did a little bit of reading and ended up getting a new water heater from Lowes including installation and hut. Costed me $1100 for everything. In summary meetz is good if have an emergent repair and willing to shell out large sums of cash for an average new installation. If you can wait, I would suggest looking around and going to Home Depot or lowes. A new water heater-gas 50 gallons should not cost more than $1200 max.
