Used for a leaking Pop up assembly on a bathroom sink. Originally told 10am, then at last moment changed to 3pm. Plumber finally showed well after 3pm, and said that he had every part but the one needed. Left and returned an hour later, but the part was too short. He returned almost an hour later with the part, as we were leaving for trick or treating. Left him there with a family member, and paid by phone when done 20 minutes later. Invoice of $481.45 included 1.5 hours of work for 20 minutes of work. Will not use in the future. EDIT: Ryan not only answered this review, but called and showed up to my house, trying to make this right. Spoke with him, and he was willing to correct the situation. After explaining the situation, he agreed the price was high, and offered services to reduce the plumbing ticket. Even though I was irritated with the initial plumbing services, the customer service was top notch, I haven't had a company so responsive before. Changed to 4 stars for the customer service.

The two guys who came are absolutely amazing! The one gentleman was super friendly and treated our house like he would his own! He was super gentle with everything he touched, turned off lights when he wasn’t in the room, and took off his shoes when he came in so he didn’t track dirt and snow inside. He kept us in the loop of everything he did and was just overall amazing!!! We appreciate his service and his friendliness!!!

Water heater and furnace both went out within a week. First company I called was 3 weeks to a month out just for inspection. Marv's inspected both at the same time at my earliest convenience. They had both replaced within a week. Techs were professional and timely. Couldn't have found a better company. Thanks!!

They replaced my HVAC in less then four days, in the middle of a winter storm. They had to locate, ship in and install the new unit without us closing. Their tech "Larry" was exceptional. Larry came back several times to make sure every thing was working properly. I've lived in Cheyenne for over 70 years and would strongly recommend Marv's Pluming and Heating.

Dan came out to look at our furnace, the first diagnosis was it would've been a new furnace at a cost of $4700. Dan then called me the next morning wanting to try to check the flue on the furnace which could also cause it to not stay lit....the flue was the problem!!! Iam so impressed with his honesty and professionalism, and thank you to the boss who thought of that idea. If we need anything in the future we found our repair guys. We highly recommend Marvs !!!!!! Crisis averted.

When I moved into my new place, all of the pipes leaked, and due to this, the furnace could not be turned on due to damage from the water leaks. I called Marv's, and within days, they had a team out here. Once the plumbing had been replaced, they sent another crew out headed up by Josh R. to replace the furnace. The installation of my furnace took 3-4 hours, and Josh and his associate were thorough and professional. They walked me through the whole process and also explained basic maintenance on the system, so I felt that I had a good grasp on how the operation works. The plumbing tech named Dominique did the initial quote for the plumbing and also did some repair work. To say Dominique is knowledgeable, punctual, and professional is an understatement. Incredibly happy with the work done by both Dominique and Josh and will be contacting them again should the need for their services arise.

My only complaint is that the the service visit was very pricey. The plumber was here 12 minutes and charged $157.08. That’s pretty high. I have used Marv’s Plumbing before and I have never paid this much. Are they under new ownership? Is this an exorbitant price. Should I have them do the work?

Doug knew what he was doing. He identified the part that needed to be replaced right away, and once he had the part, how to put it back together. However, he didn't bring tools with him initially, so he borrowed mine to get the shower faucet taken part (to get the cam that needed replaced). When he returned, he didn't bother taking off his boots when entering the wet shower floor. While he got the cam installed quickly, the handles for the shower initially were set in reverse, hot was cold/cold was hot. He eventually got that sorted, but the handles are not put back in their original configuration. The water temperature is completely opposite the water pressure handle. And he had a borrow a screw from my miscellaneous parts to get the handles back on.

The troubleshot the problem and then came to our rescue quickly in a very big time of need to install a furnace. The technicians teamed up together to get the job done in a day. Marv’s has a Rotor Rooter service who came out the same day of our only toilet that was plugged up. Mike showed up less than 3 hours after I called for help. He used his experience and knowledge to preserve the main sewer clay pipe (possibly from the 1920’s), while unplugging the toilet. He also inspected the main sewer pipe with a camera that gave me knowledge of our sewer system. All is good now. Thanks!!

I had foster kittens in my house, and they broke through the vent cage and got into the airducts in my house. I called Marv's after hours, in a panic, and they assured me they would have someone stop by soon. They kept me in the loop as to who was coming and how long until they would arrive (it was probably 20 minutes from my phone call to when the technician arrived). Dan came to assist, and was happy to do it - again, even after hours. He was very understanding and reassuring we would find the kittens. He worked quickly, efficiently, and everything was left repaired and cleaned up after. It was really nice to have someone who was patient and understanding, who also worked quickly and was reassuring during the whole process- especially while I was panicking. I can't say how grateful I was to have someone come almost immediately and help out with this unfortunate situation. Dan was fantastic and I can't recommend him enough! Also - kittens are all doing great.

I have no complaints about the service as a whole. Steve was very personable and knowledgeable. Arrived on time and was informative. My complaint is the cost of a 20 minute service call. Probably my fault because I assumed that my hot water heater, which is equipped with a piezoelectric starter, could not be lit with a match or simple lighter. When I called I was treated very well, and I explained that I could not get the darn thing to fire up. It would have been helpful if the gentleman on the phone would have asked me if I had tried to light it with a lighter. Steve arrived and looked at the heater, grabbed a lighter and fired it up. Great, and I learned that piezoelectric will not stop someone ( me) from lighting the heater. BUT! The charge was $164.00! For approximately 20 minutes, from parking the truck to driving away! In the future I will check with all plumbing services in town before I have anything done. I can understand paying for service and I would whine about $100, but would except a hundred bucks for the "lesson". And I might as well mention the estimate Steve gave me for replacement is at least three times what I can buy a unit for at local suppliers and I am sure I can do the work myself or get a freelancer for half of the estimate. Overall I like Marv's, but get estimates first. Thanks for letting me vent.

My water heater started leaking on a Sunday afternoon, of course. We are a large family, so it was stressful, a huge inconvenience and made a big mess. Travis called me back and spent a pretty substantial amount of time on the phone educating me so I could decide between repair of the ancient water heater I had, going tankless, or replacement of a traditional. He then showed up first thing Monday morning and got it switched out. The entire job took 1.5 hrs including the addition of a shut-off valve. He was patient and kind to my curious 5 yr old. Definitely recommend.

Equipment sucked. Should replace the big snake because it kept kinking and kicking out the hose. 12/15/ 2022 This was for estimate on piping, we were told $25 for showing up then 139 an hour. WTH we have to pay the hour fee for an estimate. That needs to be told to customer from the beginning. The tech told us after he entered house that it was $164 for him just showing up. All employees need to be on same page. We have been told different things when talking to the employees. This company never used to be like this. You should have a trip & diagnostic charge, then that gets dropped if work is done. You all charge more for labor when nothing is being done and its bs.

Technician came out to the property and went through the possible issues. He found nothing wrong with the property and told me that the company would still charge 149.00 for the call. I disputed the charge asking for possibly a reduction of half of the cost. The manager and I talked about having value for the work. He was very generous and provided a service for a furnace to help compensate for the 149. I appreciate his understanding that value is very important when it comes to work done. I recommend Marvs and have used them for a while now.

Marv’s to the rescue! We discovered a sewer line backup late at night, something no one EVER wants to see at any time. I placed the phone call shortly before midnight and the receptionist was very polite and understanding, plus she was ALIVE, rather than recorded - what a relief! For the most part the customer service over the phone was good & the plumber that came at night, Mike, I think was polite & professional BUT it seemed like nobody was on the same page. Had to call a few times to status check & everytime I had to repeat the situation & address... finally had to go with other company. Seems like the call center is in a different area or state. I am under contract on a home and used them for a plumbing inspection and sewer scope, which was fine. However, somehow they have double charged my bank account for the inspections and after several days of calling and being promised a call back from someone in billing to resolve this, I have yet to receive a phone call from anyone or get a refund for the 2nd charge. I’m not even sure anyone has looked into it at this point and I just keep getting passed around on the phone. Now I have a few hundred extra dollars in limbo with these people and they don’t seem to care that they are just hanging on to my money. I would not recommend doing business with them until they get their billing department straightened out.

We determine the leak was from the water heater and while they could of got it replaced right away I opted for a larger tank which he was out of at the moment. The issue wasn't resolved with the first issue, but they sent someone back out at the first availability, and we were able to pinpoint the issue with the water heater. As far as the repair... I'm sure the plumber did an excellent job. But the cost and the way he left my bathroom was disappointing. I had paper towels in the bathroom but instead of using those to clean with he used my hand towels. Also leaving black marks on the wall and commode. I'd just cleaned my bathroom on Friday and for the amount of labor that was billed he should have left it as clean as he found it. I was billed $163.50 in labor costs for 1.5 hours... Could have purchased a new commode just for the labor costs alone. Ugh

Called Marv's out because our water heater kept going out. They replaced it and when the second one didn't work, they returned multiple times to figure out why. When they discovered it was an HVAC venting issue and our basement had been filling with carbon monoxide for 2 days they went above and beyond to fix the issue. They went up on the roof and replaced the venting cap that was damaged in the hail storm that our roofers had yet to fix and neglected to tell us could be an issue. We've had Marv's come to our home twice in the last 6 weeks. Both visits were excellent. Marv's is one of the only plumbers to employ a certified Mendota gas fireplace technician. (Forgot his name, my bad) he had to dismantle the entire fireplace to replace the thermo-coupler. He did a great job and this is tricky work. He was proficient and professional. Our next visit from Marv's was for a leaky garbage disposal. Turns out it was incorrectly installed by V&J plumbing. Xander, fixed the disposal, adjusted the faucet, which was incorrectly repaired by the same V&J plumbing, then fixed our shower faucet that, you guessed it last repaired by V&J. He educated us on the difference between "box store" faucets and plumber supplied faucets then he showed my husband how to maintain the faucet mechanism himself. AND Marv's charged us LESS for all that than V&J charged to incorrectly install our garbage disposal. We highly recommend Marv's

On 07/18/17, we had Marv’s Plumbing come in and install the necessary piping to connect our new gas range. The name of the plumber was Steve. Steve was just incredible! At one point in the process, while we were discussing the best way to make a tricky pipe connection in impossibly tight confines, Steve didn’t hestitate to adopt a suggestion from me. I don’t know if the price charged for the service was high, low, or average, but I do know that I’m completely satisfied with the job and the price. Chalk up another stellar review for Seth--he showed up on-time to re-set a toilet for me. He fixed the improper installation, fixed an improper tank assembly, cleared a sink aerator issue, fixed another sink's basket, proceeded to clear a drain and fix a disposal installation that wasn't to code. In short, he showed up to do a single job, did three and fixed problems caused by two other contractors all in under two hours. Highest possible review--couldn't be happier.

Mide as well put a match to that money. Thought something would be fixed for that money. It is like paying a dr out of pocket to tell you what is wrong but does not help you in any way unless you go back and pay again. That is just how we feel.
