I had a great experience with Mr. Michael. He removed an old garbage disposal, put in a new drain, then installed a new disposal on the other side of the double sink as i desired. He was professional, courteous, clean, timely, knowledgeable, and just good company. As a 4th generation plumber, he was a wealth of knowledge and offered to save me time and money by doing the pre-work for a new dishwasher I plan to install in a few weeks. Im glad to know my plumbing is now up to code. He plans to retire in a few years and he deserves it but it makes me sad because they just don't make them like Mr. Michael anymore.

Repair costs are a little bit on the higher side, however the amount was worth the piece of mind that a good job was done. Joe Allen replaced our dripping faucet and some piping, etc. The way the vanity was built made it very difficult to replace anything and the pipes not in code. Honestly, this was a project we could not do ourselves. The old faucet was also an issue in itself trying to remove it. Joe Allen was just wonderful to deal with. He was not only professional but just a nice person. I felt very comfortable with him in my house. Also, he arrived when expected (even early - dispatch did ask if that was okay), the first time he arrived. When it was recommended a get a new faucet to fix the issue, as well as replace pipes under the sink which where not in code, I was able to choose the faucet of my liking and was given a choice of different costs up front for the entire project. The new faucet needed to be ordered and thought it would take at least a week, however I got a call within 2 days stating it was in. I made a new appointment for it to be installed, and dispatch kept me informed when Joe would arrive. The entire experience was top notch and I would use Len the Plumber again. If. you do decide to use their service, I would recommend you ask for Joe. I will be using him again for sure. Lastly, if you decide not to use their service you have to pay the 49.00 gas fee. Honestly, I know some people found this unfair, but honestly I don't blame them.

We've had them out many times to do repairs but recently we had the faucet replaced (because the builder put it too close to the wall for us to do it). Excellent job. Great communication. Showed up when they said. The water heater they got us in for an estimate the next day then for the replacement the following day. The communication from everyone was clear and concise. The estimate and our options given as well as what was recommended. They did a great job, cleaned up after themselves, and double checked everything before they left. Always happy and I really like Derrick. He's super nice, a great tech!

Everyone we spoke with while retaining their services was really helpful and responsive. The plumber they sent out, Dylan E., was just terrific! He was knowledgeable, taking the time to explain everything to us clearly, and he had such a positive attitude. It was infectious. His 10+ years of plumbing experience were clear as he worked quickly and neatly. If you need any plumbing done I highly recommend this company, and if Dylan is available you will be lucky and thankful to have him as your plumber!

I called Len the Plumber to set an appointment today. They said technician is arriving between 11a to 2p. They called back 10 minutes later and said that a technician is in the vicinity and is available to service us in the next 45 minutes. Mat and Tony the technicians then timely arrived. They're very courteous and they were straight forward especially in determining the estimate for the job. The job was completed in about 1 to 1 1/2 hours to our relief and satisfaction. They did an excellent toilet drain job including the aftercare. I would highly recommend them for your plumbing needs. Len the Plumber were true to their promise of a prompt and same-day service. Definitely their service is a 5-Star!

Had very slow draining shower. Sam arrived on expected time. He was very friendly from the start. Listened to my explanation of the problem, asked a few questions and told me potential outcomes. Fortunately, it turned out to be a simple cleaning. He provided excellent customer service, was engaging and even ensured to get shoe covers although it was dry outside. We appreciated that. It was our first time using Len the Plumber and Sam made a solid impression. He is a great representative of the company. Although it was not exactly cheap for the time involved, it was still a good value to me to not have to deal with it, not have to purchase tools, and have a pro check the problem in case it involved potentially extensive repairs, which I was concerned about. Overall - great experience.

We're are VERY happy with the final results of the work he did for us and in addition to that he made us aware of a faucet leak that we plan to replace ourselves. Summary: Good work, very high prices, no free quotes One of the nozzles connecting to our washing machine had a leak and needed to be replaced. They couldn't give me a quote over the phone and said they needed to send a tech out to assess the issue first. If we didn't end up contracting them for the service, we would've had to pay a $49 fee for the tech to come out and give us a quote. To their credit, they were able to schedule next-day service. However, they quoted us approximately $550 for the job. We didn't have a lot of options, so we agreed. The tech completed the work in less than an hour. The work was good and seems to have held up thus far. But the price seemed a bit outrageous. We also asked for a simultaneous quote to see how much it would cost to installed a recessed box for the nozzles and drain. That quote was well over $2000.

I had an amazing experience with Len the Plumber. From my first call with Tony, who had someone at my house by the next morning, to the installation by Aaron and Rebecca, the entire process went smoothly. I received a text letting me know they were on their way, and 30 minutes later they were at my door. Aaron was courteous and knowledgeable in discussing my problem and the pros and cons of either a repair or a new installation. As my unit was 11 years old, I opted for new installation. They were careful in protecting my floors & in keeping the work area clean — they left the job site in pristine condition with everything back in place. Their workmanship was superb — (Rebecca’s welds are incredible). Aaron patiently answered all my questions & explained all the components. I was extremely pleased with Andre’s work. He replaced a section of copper pipe that had a pin hole leak and the shut off valves for both of my outdoor spigots(sp?). He was friendly, knowledgeable and was able to work in some challenging areas of my house (the valves weren’t located in the most convenient places). Also, this was the 2nd time I have called Len the Plumber in the last 3 months (the first was urgent and the last was me working through my “to do list” of home maintenance projects). Technician, John, was very careful with preparing the area and he went above and beyond with clearing the drain all the way to the main. Cleanup was also excellent. Working with Len the Plummer literally saved us days of waiting. We reached out to our insurance company, and their contractor couldn’t get to us timely (would have been a week with no hot water!). When we called Len, they set us up with a same day appointment. Stephen H. was awesome and on time; he quickly was able to identify the issue. After sourcing what we would need, he then had to drive to two different cities (30+ minutes out the way), and when he returned was still in great spirits, installed our new unit and made sure to provide us information for how to care for it moving forward. Some would say not having hot water could wait a few days, however he understood our urgency with the weather changing and made sure all was installed properly and communicated the process as he worked. We would definitely recommend this company to others as they are responsive, treat customers with care and genuinely understand their business.

Andre was great when he arrived and very professional. He quickly understood the issue and identified the best way to solve to problem and had us back up and running as soon as he could. I wasn’t happy that I wasn’t able to get service in the day requested and the company had to reschedule twice but I don’t fault the technician for that and the woman I spoke to on the phone was apologetic and kind. Some things just work out when they work out and patience is rewarded. Again, Andre was great and did excellent work.

My technician James (Jim) did a great job with not only a repair - but repiping my kitchen sink drain up to code as well as changing the handle on our rusted main water valve to a lever. This was a basement shower pan installation which required drilling through concrete, removing the old drain, installing a new drain pipe and trap, leveling and setting the shower base, removing old valve and installation of new valve. This man was and is a consummate professional. Not only is he a master of his craft, he takes the time to educate homeowners by explaining what the plumbing situation is and how to best address it. It was worth every penny to receive Excellent work of the highest quality.

Vince was totally amazing! After a water emergency at a rental property on a Friday afternoon that ended with the city shutting off water to the house, I called five plumbing companies to come out and address the issue. Len the plumber said they’d send someone Saturday morning. None of the other companies I talked to would deal with it until Monday (although 2 said they could send someone Saturday for a $250+ weekend surcharge). Vince arrived early on a 40 degree Saturday morning, took one look at the scary water-logged crawl space under the house, and went right in. He was totally drenched from crawling around and he was reaching into elbow deep water at various points trying to feel around pipes and identify our issue. There was absolutely nothing straight forward about our water mystery since plumbing had been replaced, rerouted, cut off, etc in a dark space under the house over the last 50+ years. Lots of trial and error and testing to determine what was going on. Lots of people might have thrown up their hands and said call me back on a warmer dryer day when the water is gone, but Vince was the most hard core dedicated plumber I’ve ever worked with and was definitely up for the challenge. In the end, the problem was identified , fixed, and we were able to restore water to the property. I seriously don’t think any other plumber would have done what he did. Moving forward, I will absolutely call Len the plumber for all of my plumbing needs at both my house and all of our rental properties.

The technician, Randolph, arrived on time and I even received a courtesy call to let me know he was on his way and for safety they included a photo of his appearance. The service went well and he was knowledgeable. My only issue was that he did not arrive wearing a mask and shoe coverings like I was told on the phone that he would for COVID precautions. It was not his fault though because maybe he was comfortable not wearing a mask. He did not hesitate to go grab his mask and shoe coverings. He showed me some items that I want to replace and on the spot pricing. I will use this business again and ask for Randolph!

We had a possible leak in our master bathroom around our toilet, it looked like water was coming out slowly after flushing. We stopped using the bathroom that night and then We called Len the Plumber. The next day we had an appointment and they sent Bryan Livingston out to check out our issue. He was very thorough in his investigation, spent about an hour trying to replicate the issue with running all faucets and flushing all toilets, but was unable to replicate our issue. He said he could pull out the toilet, but he would feel terrible to charge us for that work if there wasn’t a leak from the toilet. I really appreciated his candidacy and care for us and we did not have a charge for the day. Call Len when you need them, they will treat you like family.

I have always called Len the Plumber for services. Would have only given them 3 stars but the tech was great today. My problem was with 2 no shows 2 days in a row. I will never schedule ANY evening appointments. Had a 5-8pm appts only to wait and wait and no tech showed up. Had to call a couple of times to get updates. Finally scheduled for an early morning and finally got the sump pump repaired. Just hope this is my only negative encounter because otherwise they are dependable and service was great.

Vince came out the same day when we experienced no water coming from all our faucets, etc. He quickly diagnosed the problem and explained the options. We really appreciated his excellent and detailed explanations of what he wanted to do to remedy the plumbing problem. He was very professional and answered all our questions. He also made some suggestions for work that could be done in the future which might help prevent future problems. Now we have running water back, so far so great. Would highly recommend him! Thanks

Good service from Billy. He was nice and worked with me on the price. However, I think this company might be gouging on prices. We paid around $900 for two p-traps to be replaced. I was originally quoted almost 2k for that plus a quick drain cleaning for 3 bathrooms. Maybe I’m out of touch with prices nowadays but that seemed out of this world. I was expecting around $500 for everything. Overall good service but next time I’ll be sure to price check with more places before agreeing to service.

It was a great experience working with Len the plumber company. Our plumber was Bryan Livingstone. He was very knowledgeable and helpful in explaining all the details about the job. He stayed as long as needed to make sure the installation was done perfectly and there were no leaks. It’s a new house we are moving into so he walked around the house with me to show me all the water pipes and how to take proper care of installation and what to look out for. Our tech was awesome. He came out right away. He explained what the problem was, the cause, and prevention. He fixed it quickly. He went far above and beyond by identifying an issue that needs to be repaired but is still under warranty through BGE home. Only issue is in the process, the temperature dial for my wall heating unit was taken off and not not replaced. Not I have to try and locate a new dial for the unit.

The person who answered the phone was professional, informative and efficient. He said someone would come that day, and Obie did come at the scheduled hour. John Pitt did a fabulous job! After the problem was not solved the first time, he went back in an tried to snake the drain through a different pipe using different heads until it was all cleared! I highly recommend! Very thorough and professional and cleaned up afterwards. Five stars!

New to the area I found Len the Plumber online. We had a guest room toilet that would not stop running and of course we had our first guest visiting the next day. Our little problem turned into a big one and everyone at Len the Plumber was wonderful. I really appreciated how communicative they were and how fast they were to fix the issues at reasonable prices. Aaron was out to the house within two hours and fixed the toilet. But much to our dismay he found the basement flooded when he went to shut off the water. We didn't just have a toilet issue. We had a much larger sewer issue. Trey from Len the Plumber was out next to check the sewer problem. He drained 80 feet of clogged water but it was going to happen again unless we fix the larger issue with the pipes. Trey quickly organized his colleague Derrick to come out who is a camera specialist to do a colonoscopy of the sewer system. I watched the video the same time as Derrick did and yes we had a large problem with these old pipes. He walked me through options and the following Monday we had their whole team out here digging up the front yard and replacing all the pipes. Everyone Len the Plumber sent out was wonderful. Each guy walked us through what they were doing, how much time it would take and what costs would be. There were no surprises. Also for how large this problem was the price was very reasonable. I highly recommend Len the Plumber for all your plumbing needs. We got very lucky being new to the area and just randomly looking online and finding such a trustworthy company on the first call.

I have used Len the Plumber twice now for two services - one being an entire sewer line replacement and most recently having work done on my hydronic baseboard heating system. The first group with the sewer line replacement was prompt and very efficient, replacing some 200-300 linear feet of sewer line within the day including excavation and backfill. It has been working without issue since installation. Today's duo was out for the hydronic system and they were extremely prompt, courteous and knowledgeable. Rather than simply performing what I had requested (system bleed) they explained in great understandable detail the extent of the issues with the neglected heating system that called for more work to be done. I was happy to proceed with this extra work and they kept me in the loop throughout the process. Afterwards they tested the system for me and it worked flawlessly. I cannot speak on the price for either service - I personally found it more than fair for the services performed given the quality of work and interpersonal communication of the technicians involved. There may be more expensive options and there may be cheaper options. I feel Len the Plumber offers very competitive rates for quality service. I'll continue to use Len the Plumber for future services as needed and I've been thoroughly impressed with them each time I have used their services.

He also said that the fix would be to re-install the shower drain assembly. That would involved breaking the cement basement floor and inserting all new piping. If there is any damaged to the walls/sheetrock LTP would NOT be responsible. The cost is $4,000.00. The ONLY FIX needed was to install a gasket/seal instead of silicon caulk. COST = <$5.00

I needed my toilet unclod. The technician, John, did a good job getting that sewer line cleared after having to remove the toilet from its base. I also needed my sink and washer unclod. That was a much more complicated and technically challenging project that was ultimately cleared by the best of the best senior plumbers, Ron Rice, and his side kick Omar that I have had the pleasure of having work done for me. That job required a significant amount of analysis of what was causing the stoppage, where the drainage pipes where located beneath the basement concrete before even thinking about starting work on the project and providing estimated cost. I was given an extremely detailed potential low and high cost estimate which I immediately approved to start work due to the rational and throughness of the potential cost ewstimate. As you can see from the above I was extionally pleased from start to finish of this project....The orignal low cost estimate was extremely close to the final cost to comlete which was due the work ethic and expetise of the workmanship and team work displayed.

I called about 6 just to make sure that they were still coming and dispatch was like yup they maybe behind but we're coming. Do you know I just a call talking about they aren't coming and I have to be rescheduled for Wednesday????? My backup is just as important as the next call. So, now I have to wait and see if I get blown off Wednesday. Will keep you updated. Len the Plumber if this is how you treat prospective customers shame on you. We'll see Wednesday!!!!!

The wok was done correctly : what I am extremely displeased about is I later noticed that faucet replacement only required one hole were the old one used two. I had not noticed it , (as I hadn’t slept in 2 nights do to a sick family member and this issue which caused water to drip into the room below). I thought it was the sink plug left there.. now I have to find something to plug it up.I was never told of it or offered a solution. My husband and I are both retired on fixed incomes and need any break we can get.I later realized it was not on the invoice and when I called back the answer was essentially I was too bad. Our system has a recirculating pump with dual 3/4" copper lines to the upstairs bathrooms to give almost instant hot water, but that didn't faze Matthew, our installer. He's a master plumber, and everything is nice and clean with no runs, no drips, no errors. We chose an A.O, Smith 10-yr warranty tank, 50-gal. Naturally, Matt hauled the old grubby tank away. Now I know why Baltimore Magazine and Google rate them a top choice.
