Alaska Sewer and Drain was great. We had a plumbing emergency over the weekend with flooding and leaking pipes. They had a plumber available in less than 30 minutes. Weekend emergency rates were reasonable for the convenience they provided. We spoke with Maddy on the phone who was great. Jacob was our plumber and he was amazing. Professional and knowledgeable. He had our pipes cleared and sealed up in less than an hour. He provided us with advice and explained the issue clearly. I also loved that they sent me a text a head of time with his picture and a time frame for his arrival. He was dressed in a professional looking uniform that identified him clearly. I would highly recommend.

These guys are the best! My basement floor drain suddenly backed up and flooded our utility room on a Sunday afternoon. I called several places in town and either got no response or was told they were too busy. I got ahold of these guys and they were very clear about their availability and timeframe, and were very clear upfront about what their rates were so there would be no surprises. Within and hour or two (sooner than expected) Jacob arrived to diagnose and deal with the situation. He obviously knew what he was doing and went right to dealing with the problem. As a homeowner, I am very interested in what is going on with my house and what work is being performed, I like to ask a lot of questions. Often times contractors we have over won't answer any questions or hardly even talk to you, but Jacob was way better than that. I asked a million questions about what he was doing, how the tools worked, what the issue was and how to solve it, and he was glad to answer all of them. He thoroughly educated me on what the issue was, and how he was using the tools to solve it, as well as how to avoid issues in the future. Jacob gets a 15/10 in my book, and will be the first person I ask for the next time I have the misfortune of experiencing a drain issue!

With 4 small children, the draining system at the house is constantly put to test. Luckily, these guys did not have a too far out schedule and were able to come to my house and fix the problem. This time (as children find it fun to flush all kind of stuffs in the toilet) the problem was much worse that expected, because the entire draining system of a whole floor was affected. Lucky for me, it was a piece of cake to Alaska Sewer & Drain technician. Not only I paid half the price than to other company charged me, but also the job was much bigger. These guys also get points for not talking me into doing additional unnecessary assessment, such as using the camera to inspect the drain. I know this is a long review, th longest I've ever written. Chase is personable, resourceful, persistent, and knowledgeable. He performed a camera inspection and hydro-jetting cleaning of all my septic lines. We identified the cause of the issue I was having and he recommended a simple solution. Through the inspection and cleaning I learned a lot about my septic system that I did not know before. He patiently answered my many questions and worked out innovative ways to overcome difficulties in getting into various parts of the septic line that had bends and Ts with no direct access. I feel I got excellent service and an education, too! He was able to remove this whereas two other businesses weren’t able to or didn’t have the right equipment. These guys are really great. I called them with what could’ve potentially been a huge issue and they responded professionally and had the knowledge to keep me calm. I had another company come out to clear a blockage in my sewer line, and was told that my yard needed to be dug up to repair the blockage. I wanted a second opinion. Had AS&D come out. The technician Jacob said that he could get it fixed. Within half an hour he was putting away his tools and pipe was cleared. Can not recommend AS&D any higher than a 5 star or I would. These guys were great! I highly recommend them and I will definitely be a repeat customer. I had a main sewer line back up in one of my rental properties. My technician, Scott, was amazing. Rather than “shoot first ask questions later” he was able to utilize their long range plumbing camera to find out exactly what the issue was. Long story short, there were a ton of rocks and clay lodged in the underground pipe leading from the house to the septic tank. he was able to break apart the cluster of rocks that were causing the stoppage. Once he determined that the pipe had been dislodged, he led me in right direction towards the DIY repairs that were needed. After a day of incredibly disgusting work, I was able to fix the issue (or so I hope). I’ve decided that in the future I will not be doing any DIY work as it pertains to septic tanks… But I will use Alaska Sewer & Drain in the future. 5/5 stars ✨ Edit 1: Corrected spelling error

We just bought and moved in this house. Sewer lines in dwelling were fine. It was frozen out in the main road. I suggest not to buy a house in the middle of winter. A test plug was blocking the line, Collin miraculously was able to use a snake with tool attachment to unscrew a small screw on the test plug ring to collapse the plastic and retrieve it out. Nothing but good things to say about Alaska Sewer &Drain. I had a bad Plug in my sewer drain and had them come out and the first time they couldn't get it but came back and got it. They didn't even charge me the second time and did it super quick. Great customer service. If I ever have a problem again like this I will be calling them.
