I've been working with this company since spring of 2022 when I had a lot of carpenter ants suddenly show up inside my home. They routinely conduct inspections and services every 2 months now, checking rodent bait stations, spraying for insects, and removing spider webs/eggs. I really appreciate that the service technician calls before they begin service, so if I have any new concerns I can discuss it with them. They are friendly, professional, informative, and very helpful. I have worked with Logan and Paul, and they have both been great. Highly recommend this company!

We have used Western for about 8-9 years. They are very service oriented. The tech rep is very professional and courteous. He always stops to explain his process of work. And, on short notice, they have helped come do a service in between scheduled stops several times. We highly recommend Western !!!

I have used this business for many, many years. In 2020 we had an upsurge in rodent population and activity due to some changes in neighborhood and nearby construction and other local factors. Western Exterminators responded to that newest issue by coming right out and adding new outdoor traps in our yard. That "infestation" has receded, but we still need to be checked on a regular basis, both outdoors and indoors. We have that with Western Exterminators!! Also, our current tech, Alden, is most efficient, thorough, courteous and conscientious! We are very happy to have him checking in with us and providing the company's services to us!! Thank you.

But I can say with certainty that she did her job thoroughly, even with it raining down sideways and the temperature at 32 degrees. I don’t give reviews regularly but I felt she deserves the proper recognition for dying the job and doing it RIGHT.

The “usual” prescription to discourage them wasn’t working after a couple applications, so when I asked for an alternative treatment, they were more than happy to comply. I have to say that the guy that came to my basement apt. was so honest. He told me that I didn't have bed bugs but, there was a dead rat above me. I may have been getting bitten by mites. I was freaked out to find carpenter ants in one of my walls and started panicking because of what that could entail. I called Western Exterminator immediately and got an appointment scheduled. We purchased a home and it was full of the odorous house ants. We call western exterminators and they came and treated our home. These particular ants are very hard to get rid of but each time we’d see activity western exterminators was out the next day to take care of them. We have been using Western Exterminator for several years now. Our original need was due to a rat infestation from a neighbor feeding squirrels. They still feed the squirrels so we have Western come out for maintance every other month. Sure, occasionally a critter is caught but because of Western, we have yet to see them or any evidence of them. During that initial visit we also had a minor ant problem that has never reoccured. I hardly ever find spiders in the house either which has caused my cats to grow bored over the years but they supplement with extra naps. ;) They are always polite, professional and respectful of our property. Love these guys they do a good enough job that my neighbors pest control services have more work to do because all the ants. Spiders. And rats know they'll die at my house if they come here to make problems. I don't even have to worry about corpse removal because either the Owl's get them or they hide in the briar. They came out on the specific date setup, found where they were coming in, sprayed the perimeter of the rest of the house and I think within the week less were appearing. By two weeks just seeing a few squagglers and then completely gone. I had them come out and spray again just to keep ahead of the little buggers. So happy with their service. Would recommend them and plan to use them next for bee hive problems.

I like that we get a reminder ahead of time about the date that the worker is going to come. They also let us the on the day they are coming. The worker knocks on the door when they arrive to let us know they have arrived and to describe to describe what they are planning to do and to ask about any activity by rodents or bugs. I get to remind them that we have two separate entrances for the area under the house. I feel glad that he is there to keep us protected from rodents especially as we were undated a few years ago.

Not only did they take care of an invasion of carpenter ants, but their follow-up treatments and sound advice have kept the problem from coming back. The even came and did an emergency treatment on another species of ant that swarmed our house on New Years' Day--and didn't charge us because we were on their regular contract! Since we have pets and love our outdoor wildlife, I'm also happy to know they won't be harmed by the chemicals.

They have quickly and efficiently taken care of our pest problems, including carpenter ants and wasp nests. They do their best to use materials that won't harm desirable animals such as bats and our pet dog. On the other hand, they ARE a bit more expensive than we'd like.

We have been having our home treated for the past two years. We purchased our home as a bank repo and it was vacant for a long time which allowed all manner of pests to move right in. We now have the home treated on the exterior quarterly and interior once per year. We have a baby, a dog and a cat so it is important to us that the treatments are non-toxic and we don't have to keep the baby or pets away from the treated areas. We came across an ant infestation while we were replacing some siding. Alpha was the first pest controller to tell us they could come out the same day. The people over the phone were very knowledgeable and able to tell us what we could expect. Sure enough as we tore off more siding we found exactly what they told us. I have a rental home which is near an undeveloped piece of land in Albany Oregon. By the end of each Spring the house has had its fair share of mice, and various other bugs. A year ago I signed on for the bi monthly maintence service program. My tenants no longer complain of pests within the nooks and crannies of the home. I have been pleased with the service over the last year, I sought another company initally which quoted me two times as much as Alpha Ecological did. I get a service reminder mailed to me and a phone call the day before service. I remind my tenants and the home is treated without incident. I also get a bill mailed to me for tax purposes after each service. I strongly recomend this service to anyone experiencing pest problems.

There are two things I really dislike, one is rats and the other is climbing under my house to locate them. A few weeks ago we developed an undesireable smell around our furnace and return duct. I knew immediately it was a dead rat under the house and there was no way I was going under there. I called Alpha Ecological. Cassandra was here the next day suited up and ready for action. After an extensive survey of the "down under" I was told the little devils were digging under the foundation. The fix was their enviromentally friendly food dispensers placed logistically around my yard. Being a nature freak I was concerned about squirrels and such. I was assured that would not be a problem. They squirted some bio decontamination something under the house to kill rat remain bacteria and recommended a bi-monthly visit to check the food dispensers in my yard. I am a happy customer.
