We just moved into the area and wanted the house treated for bugs. It was easy to get an appointment. The prices were given upfront. They provided a list of bugs/insects included in their service. The tech arrived on time and gave a call before arriving. I appreciate that the van has a logo so I knew immediately who it was when they pulled up. The tech was friendly and experienced. He gave a summary of his inspection/service. We will continue using them every quarter and are happy with the service provided.

Dane showed up smack in the middle the time window and got right to work. He did a fantastic job of tending to my focus areas, before doing a thorough inspection of my home's perimeter. He was very knowledgeable about different types of pests, and what works for each kind. He gave me some really good advice and feedback, including actionable steps that I could take as soon as he left. Further, this advice was very transparent, helpful, and easy to follow. His type of service and transparency made me trust the company a lot more than I would have expected, and I expect to sign up for at least a year of the quarterly service for the house we just moved into because of this. Really kind and personable guy too, which made the whole thing a whole lot easier. Really glad we went with a local company and not a nationwide brand. 5+/5, would recommend!

I would rate Issaquah Pest & Home Services very high. I usually don't write reviews but seeing their service and quality of work I am compelled to so. We had ants/flying ants last year at our place and I called them. Chris Strickland, the technician who came to inspect our place. He inspected our place thoroughly and provided the necessary service needed. The ants are long gone, I don't see them anymore around. Recently, we started observing mice droppings in the kitchen area, we called them and they scheduled a visit in couple of days. Chris Strickland again came, got into the crawling space, found a gap in the structure where the mice was getting in. He went above and beyond to close the gap. Additionally, he found that there was vent under the crawling space that was not disconnected for some reason. He fixed that as well. Wonderful service. I would highly recommend Issaquah Pest and Home service if you have any pest related issues.

I had incredibly prompt service that began over the weekend —after noticing a swarm of wasps. Jennifer was incredible at coordinating the service — thorough and thoughtful. Dane alerted me to his arrival and was efficient with getting the job done. He was also helpful in pointing out other risk points for infestation on our house and explained the wide array of services that the company offers. All wasps are gone in less than 24 hours!

Recently we saw lots of flying ants on exterior wall. I was worried it was termite swarm. Called several companies they all have out of state call centers. They all want to sign a contract for regular maintenance. They all had difficulty to even schedule the initial inspection. Out of frustration I looked for a local company, Issaquah Pest Control sounds like one. I am glad I called, a lady named Taylor answered and asked for pictures. Sent the pictures, moments later got a very detailed response explain what’s the problem, how to fix it and what’s the cost. It was ants not termites. Went ahead with an appointment. The technician Josh showed up early, treated the perimeter and left clear instructions on how to prevent. Very happy with the quality of service, the honest and open communication throughout the process. They will have my business from now on and I will make sure all my friends use Issaquah Pest Control for their needs

Issaquah Pest Control is great place to have take a look around your house and to attend to wasp nests. Dan came this time and he was very informative. He checked the attic spaces, the exterior and checked for additional wasp nests. He took care of our wasp nests next and added some sticky traps for the garage for spiders and such. Since this is our third year of having them come out I decided to have quarterly service so we don’t have to do the annual killing of bugs with a flip flop. The best part is we get a report of all the things they did after. And everything is done electronically!

Found and removed the smelly mouse from under the house within 30mins of showing up. Yesterday during our quarterly service, I was so very impressed by Jenny. Not only did she do the expected services rebaiting the rodent traps, sweeping away spider webs on our home, and spraying the house's perimeter to protect against spiders and the like, but also Jenny found and dealt with the paper wasp nest and the yellow jacket hive. I found Issaquah Pest Control through Yelp and was very happy with the service. First I had a pleasant conversation with the lady who answered the phone and scheduled the appointment. Then Chris was the technician who help us with the Carpenter Ants problem. The service was quick and straight forward. They didn't try to upsell me anything. The price was fair. Scheduling staff was very friendly and informative. Chris arrived within the scheduled window, let me know he reviewed the photos I sent the night before, so was well prepared to take care of the two yellow jacket wasp nests up in our eaves. Chris explained what he was going to do and what to expect over the next 24-48 hours. Very professional and took care of the application quickly, ensuring our camilla bush was rinsed off to prevent damage before leaving. I would like to recommend this company to anyone who has pest/animal issue at home. A stray cat brought a dead mouse in our backyard. It was very gross. We are afraid of dealing with it by ourselves. We quoted many pest/animal control companies, but few of them provide this kind of service. After we were stood up by another company, Taylor from Issaquah Pest Control responded me very quickly and warmly. She would like to send someone to help us on the following day for FREE. Brayden arrived on time and saved us by retrieving the dead mouse. He is really nice and professional. We would definitely choose him and this company in the future.

It’s hard to say “I love an extermination company” but I love Issaquah Pest!! Shortly after I moved in to my home I noticed a lot of spiders and other gross bugs. I’m from a part of America that’s pretty bug free so I was immediately on edge. I called multiple pest companies in one day and only Issaquah got back to me same day and had Dane out the very next day. I explained I particularly hate spiders so please don’t tell me any details, just kill them. He did just that, and was also on time and sent me a text to say he was coming. He was also so friendly and professional and knew exactly what he was doing. I also like the post visit pdf of what was done, what was used and follow up instructions. I will be using them indefinitely.

Great notification by email and text. Rats are my main concern and I no longer hear evidence in the crawlspace (old 1950's home). Josh A was very thorough and knowledgeable. We had an emergency treatment of a very stubborn yellow jacket nest underneath our son’s playhouse. Understandably, a kids play area is the last place you’d want aggressive bees and we were freaked out after having our whole family - including a 2.5 year old - stung multiple times. My home in Sammamish is an extremely difficult case. Rodents in the attic refusing to take any bait and wary of sticky traps. Issaquah Pest diligently worked to plug up the endless cracks and holes leading outside (exclusion work), patiently advised us to cut back foliage, and are getting results. A lot of service for the money. I get the quarterly service and it's a bargain. No more scratching sounds in the attic! I highly recommend and plan to continue with them.

We have been very happy with Issaquah Pest Control. Their regular service always includes a detailed explanation of what they did and any concerns they have, as well as why they feel those concerns should be addressed. This frequently reminds us to cut back trees or plants that are providing access to rodents or other animals. We live near large green belts so they also maintain bait stations and keep us updated as to the levels of activity at them. In addition to their regular service, they also as part of our plan address any concerns we bring up in a thorough and professional manner. We recently discovered mice had been getting into our garage but did not know how. They checked all seals in the garage and across two visits within a week did a thorough examination of our crawl space and blocked multiple entry points that they discovered. All as part of our regular service without any additional attempts to charge us. All of this support with staff that have always been very kind, friendly and respectful. We can't imagine using another pest control provider.

So far, these people are wonderful, and I’m glad I found them! Not only is their office communication spot on (with respect for your communication preferences), but the technician who came to my house was super-thorough and talked me through everything he was planning. They also appear to have a handyman service, and I’ll let you know how that goes. :) Why only 4 stars? Two reasons: 1. Not enough data on efficacy yet. They only came out this week for the first time! I will probably update in a few months… but I love the communication and transparency so much that I had to review sooner. 2. The tech hadn’t heard of the chemical that keeps spider webs from attaching to a house. Either I’ve been snowed by 3 prior companies (in various areas and states of operation), or they’re missing a crucial spider-free kit component. Time will tell!

I highly recommend Issaquah Pest Control. Our house backs to a greenbelt so we have lots of critters to deal with. Once we had an ant infestation in the house they came out and resolved it for us right away, and also dealt with our pesky moles. Since then they service our house quarterly and we've never had any issues. If we have any additional concerns they're always happy to take a look and address it right away, usually at no extra cost. I like that they give a slight discount if you pay ahead for the year, and guarantee their work between service dates, so if something ever comes up in between visits they come out and address it. Scheduling is a breeze and they are highly responsive any time I have contacted them over email.

The technician was very professional and through. I had my crawlspace inspected as it had been 10 years since I bought the home. There was a garden snake which had crawled in as it was attracted by some mice droppings. So even though there was no recent pest activity, the technician removed the garden snake and sealed the entrance. I would probably have these services once every few years as you never know where is a leak or hole.

They came and inspected for suspected rat issues, but it turned out to be bats, so they passed the call onto the WA wildlife department. Due to this they did not charge me, even though they spent time in the attic, crawlspace, put traps down in both (just in case), and did an exterior inspection (and fixed some potential crawlspace entry points even though there was no evidence in the crawlspace). They were on time and professional.

Have been a recurring customer for ~9 months. Technicians were always cordial, but our insect/spider problem never fully went away. Recently, I've been handling the problem myself with better results. After cancelling my recurring service, was told that I would need one last treatment. Not ideal, but I understand that I was cancelling the day before so I agreed. The technician showed up for 2 minutes, picked up two unused rodent traps, billed me $50 and promptly left. No insecticide sprayed, no bait, nothing. Despite never fixing the problem, I've had no big complaints over the past 8 months. But this last interaction with Issaquah Pest Control has left a sour taste in my mouth. Edit: Revision from 2 stars. Issaquah Pest Control reached out promptly to try and make the situation right. They come and spray for pests 4 times a year and have also had to come over for emergency visits for rodents. They are very responsive and great at communicating with us. They send a text every time they come over and also send an email summary of what they did. One thing we really love about them is that there are no hidden charges for bug spray, traps, emergency visits or anything else. Very impressive since they have had to come out many times in addition to their 4 scheduled visits for periodic rodent issues (there is always construction in our neighborhood.) During these visits, they have gone around the house patching holes where rodents could be getting in, setting new traps, and clearing out existing traps. We always feel safe and comfortable with their technicians. They are respectful and always wear masks to protect us from COVID. We are so glad we signed up with them when we did! Though we feel a little guilty for getting such a great value for our annual contract. How many companies can you say that about?! :)

This team is fantastic and helped us solve our rat problem. They were transparent about their pricing for one-time and ongoing service. I initially started with a one-time service, but upped it to ongoing. Easy transition with no surprise fees. Scheduling is a breeze and they update you with a text message when the tech is in route. Still, the rats continued to hang out in the wall (most likely trapped at this point) and we had to get very creative with getting a trap into the wall cavity. They came back to visit me so I called in a professional "Issaquah pest control" young man by the name of Andrew and the guy was outstanding he took the time to understand what I was complaining about and all of the details, asked good questions, walked around the house and checked out everything with a flashlight and you can tell this guy operating he has the experience and knows what he's doing. They asked me some questions and asked for pictures so they could determine if it was bees or wasps, and would have come out to verify if I had not been able to get a good picture of one of the wasps. We developed a little ant problem after our neighbor's construction left a little gap in the complex. It started with a couple here and there. Over the next few days there were HUNDREDS. Issaquah Pest Control laid down a few traps. Apparently the ants take the poison back to the next and it either kills or alerts the rest of the tribe that this location is dangerous. We haven't had a problem since. The whole process took about 24 hours. Pretty efficient work! And a relief to be done with it all after the jolt of seeing swarms of ants on your kitchen counter.
