***Update: They caught a gopher the first week. It was probably in the first day or two because there were no additional mounds of dirt this week. They reset the trap and will check again for the next 2 weeks. Additionally, we have thousands of dead box elder bugs on our patio from where they sprayed. I know they are never completely gone but it is nice to have a little respite from the infestation. *** Original review: I contacted Saela because I had mounds of dirt in my front yard and thought they were from moles. They suggested they were probably pocket gophers because there aren't moles in Utah. They explained clearly how they would trap the gophers and how they would spray for bugs to remove the food source. They were responsive in coming the same day, working around my schedule, and had good communication. The technician was very polite and paid attention to my concerns. He got elbow-deep into the holes and discovered the location of the tunnels so that the traps would be set in an effective location. He sprayed around my property, paying special attention to the box elder bugs on the south side of my house. He explained what to expect in the coming weeks and asked if there was anything else that needed to be taken care of today. I will watch to see how effective the traps and spraying are, but at this point I am very pleased with the service.

We have used Edge, now call Saela, for several years. They came back a couple of times when called, for an extra service, no charge. Their price is reasonable and competitive. Dylan O'Neal, from Saela, serviced our home today. He was delayed just a short bit due to a concern at the previous appointment, but he was very good to send text messages, keeping us informed of his arrival. He is very professional, detailed, thorough. I would gladly ask for him back every time.

As always the service and product are above and beyond expectations. Camille is new to my residence and not only did exactly what I asked, she did more. She sprayed the interior, exterior, concentrating around doors and windows but she also put down granules around the exterior of my yard. These guys are awesome. They have always quick to respond, often coming out the same or next day. Everyone has been very professional and knowledgeable. I stopped using their service for awhile due to budget issues and when I started getting ants again I was more than happy to restart my service with them instead of going somewhere else. We were referred to Saela by our son, who was very pleased with what they had to offer. He had alot of trouble with hornets around his home and so did we. One month after our last treatment, we called them back because we were having a problem with ants in the kitchen and the bathroom. They came out the next day. There techs have all been pleasant

I called in the morning and had an appointment for the same day. When you see a mouse you set a trap, which we did, we got one but put a new trap out. This morning I heard a scrathing sound behind out fridge, this fridge had to be repaired earlier this year so I worried about it being it again but pulled it out. Not a fridge problem but another mouse now with 2 seen I knew there could be lots more. I checke the Better Buisness Bureau and tried to contact several exterminators only Saela called me today at all. Jarrett came out looked around the house gave us several suggestions for around the house to try and keep them out then. He checked inside and began getting ready to get rid of the unwanted house guests. As of right now I think Saela is great time will tell but if today is any indication they are going to be my pest control folks from now on.

I have gone back and forth on using this service, after some very unprofessional and incomplete services this last year I cancelled (which was so difficult to do and no one was nice to me!) Well now, Edge has changed to Saela, and I received a kind phone call from a manager asking if I would be interested in a free service to see if I wanted to get back on board with the company. I agreed, and a technician showed up when expected and clarified what I wanted him to do: I’ve got a 100 year old house that’s got a too short basement that’s got a lot of crevices-he DRENCHED the basement everywhere! I’m talking walls ceiling and windows! It was fantastic!! I’ll be staying with Saela if the services continue to be as thorough! The previous services with edge were anything but and the techs were often rude. Glad things are looking better! Add on: Been with Saela for a few months now and the services have been great and customer service is easy to reach and accommodating! Loving it! Highly recommend! (I’ve also Seen a lot less bug life outside, and nothing in the house! Well, I do occasionally find an unwanted friend in the basement but our basement is just a mess 🙈)

And their deterrents and chemicals used to keep insects and other pests out of our house are harmless to our pets. I have been using Saela for a year now and the service man are always professionals and get spots that I’m worried about however, this last service was ASTOUNDING. I had a service man named Jose come out and I had left a note because while I’m home I am working so I can’t answer the door and provide my concerns. So, I left him a note and he followed everything to a T. I was surprised with how much longer it took him to address everything I wanted done but, it was nice knowing he was taking the extra time and my family and pets are going to be safe from pests. I had been considering canceling my service for a while but if I can get Jose every time I know that I will be a client for many years to come. I really hope he knows that I am truly grateful for everything he did and if his bosses are reading this he needs a higher pay!!

Nate was the one we started with and he was awesome. Definitely, has been in business for a minute with pest control. Then he had one of his techs come thru, Dylan, to get things done. I can tell he knew what he was doing and works hard. Tbh we didn’t really have a need for it but it was something that was like, well, we should just move forward with it because it made sense. Overall, experience for us was great and they definitely were knowledgeable for sure. Don’t be afraid to ask them questions. Promise they won’t make it feel all salesy or not genuine. They really care and experienced things on their end to help you know that the clean up is something they will do a great job on. However, don’t take my words for it. We were having a problem with mice, so we employed Edge Pest Control to help us fix the problem. Our initial experience was with one of their newer agents, who set traps, but couldn't find any entry points for where the mice were coming in, so it didn't solve the problem immediately. At the end of the initial 30-day period, I let them know that I was still having a problem with mice and that the problem had not been solved, so at that point they sent out one of their very best agents, Terry, along with the branch manager to figure out how the mice were getting into the house. They did an extremely thorough inspection of the outside of my house and the garage and found a number of potential entry points. They gave me a fair quote for fixing all those entry points, and did an outstanding job of fixing them. At that point, the traps they set inside my house started becoming very effective and caught a number of mice. They returned about a week later to check on the work they had done and got rid of the dead mice the traps had caught and set new traps. I'm currently very happy with them, particularly with Terry, who is amazing. My only advice to anyone considering going with them would be to make sure that whoever comes out the first time finds the entry points for the rodents. If they don't, let Edge know that immediately, as they will do what it takes to find the source of the problem and fix it.

I’ve used Edge for 7 or 8 years. They do a great job. They will come out in-between services if you see activity. In fact, they came and re-serviced my yard today. Until I saw the report of what they did, I didn’t realize my quarterly service is coming up later this month. They didn’t even mention that. They just happily came out and sprayed. We went to edge for a one time service. They had us sign a contract looping us into many services for our hours that cost $129 each. We made it very clear that we only wanted one service from them. Calling them, they don't really seem to care and if you cancel, you still have to pay half of the agreement. We have resolved this issue now. Totally not worth the price either, $129 for only an outside spray? We still have bugs in our house..

We've been going with Edge for well over a year now. It works!! We live in a wooded area and have always accepted lots of spiders inside and outside the house as normal. We had webs on the bricks of our home and just basically everywhere. Since we've gone with Edge, we rarely see ANY spiders anymore - inside or out. The webs are all gone as well. I recently cleaned out our shed and garage and was expecting the worse as far as uncovering a bunch of hidden critters in areas that haven't been touched in years - but nope - no spiders. The technicians are super easy to work with, professional and friendly. Kathy who came to do our treatment today was fantastic! They always call before coming and ask for any special instructions and provide feedback after the service is completed. They spray in the house on initial visits and will spray in the house anytime upon request after that. Honestly, we no longer need them to spray in the house as the barriers to the outside work and there are just no longer any bugs inside (as of a year ago). Highly recommend Edge.

We have been using Edge for about 6 years consecutively and they have been great. We had a major problem with Voles and they eradicated them with a couple different variety of methods. Along with their regular services we have been very happy. If they miss something or we see any unwanted pests they are very quick to come out. The only thing they have tried to do that I didn’t like was to count those services as part of our quarterly service. Their value is on par and competitive with others in the area. I recommend them.

We were having a major invasion of small beetles. Called on Thursday evening and got set up for Friday afternoon. The phone rep was very thorough and seemed to be knowledgeable. The technician arrived and explained everything she was going to do, and how their product and service works. I waited for a couple days, and there's a ton of dead bugs, and not seeing very many live ones. So far so good!

I have 3 schnauzers so its very important that someone is home when Edge comes to spray. I dont want my pups to escape or get in the way of the tech. They always work around my schedule. I also researched the product they use to make sure if my pups were exposed it wouldnt harm them. We called Edge based on the reviews, and they definitely held up their reputation. We have seen mice in our house and she was very thorough searching for the source of where they are living, following a trail of "evidence" we hadn't noticed, and making sure to do what was needed to get rid of them. I feel like other pest control services we have used would have done the bare minimum, set a couple traps where it was convenient and gone on their way. She spent the effort to pull things out, move appliances (with our permission) and really solve the problem. Hopefully we flush them out or catch them soon, but either way, I was impressed.

The tech was very nice and professional, providing additional information and answering my questions. However, he didn't know where the traps were and what they were for, until I told him. He thought they were inside, but they're out. I've had them come back twice this summer, due to hundreds of holes in my lawn. Not one of them has been able to tell me what it might be from or what I could do about it. However, I just read the report from September, and the tech said it "Looks like birds or squirrels are digging for GRUBS. We don’t treat grubs". If he had told me THAT, I CAN treat grubs. Frustrating! They do a thorough job taking down spider webs and spraying for them.

My service specialist, Skyler, was great. He did a great job at calling ahead of time and then letting me know what he did after he performed the service. Obviously, the weather is colder right now (November) but he was able to help me understand that there is still some pest activity and taking care of it now makes it so that there are fewer pests to deal with in the Spring.

The two women that came out from Edge did a great job spraying for bugs this week. They spent quite a bit of time here covering the entire perimeter of my home and spraying all of the overhangs for wasp nests. I pointed out some ants in my back yard and they actually dug up some of the ground to expose the ant larvae. Usually the Edge guys are in a hurry and spend 10 minutes trying to spray a 3/4 acre lot and a 5200 sq ft house. At best they do 35% of the house and lot. These two gals spent at least 30 minutes here and got everything sprayed. I really hope I get these two women in the future. If I get the guys in a rush agaIn I might cancel my service with Edge as I have to spray it all again myself anyway. Why pay Edge to do the job when they really aren’t doing the job?

I had Edge Pest Control come to my home in June to do a routine service around my house and foundation. This experience was fabulous! Then in July, I noticed there were ants embedded between the cement sections of my patio. I called Edge again, and they came out and sprayed the areas where I had noticed the ants. The representative was on time, professional and instructed me not to hose off my patio for a few days to give the ants time to bring the pesticide into the ant nests. I am very pleased with Edge Pest Control. This is why I use them Everytime. Also, they didn't charge me for this service today! Thank you Edge Pest Control !!!

They are scheduled to come 4 times, weekly, for the Gophers, and 4 times, quarterly for the other pests. Time will only tell if the Gophers disappear. It is too early in the year to see much about the other pests, although I was instructed to watch for them. The technician was friendly and business like.
