Trevor found evidence of mice, sealed as many holes as he could find, checked the whole house and found it was localized in my laundry room. He set traps and will be back to check them. Insulation needs to be removed and he will have someone call and schedule that. Very knowledgeable and very pleasant .

Ok when I dialed the first name that came up on Google for “hornet removal near me” I never thought I’d be so impressed: The first woman I spoke to on the phone was pleasant and the account / technician Matt who came to my house two days later was AMAZING! I’m blown away by his professionalism, knowledge base and effectiveness. He was on time, funny, personable and took the time to walk through every space in my house, make a list of recommendations, give me all sorts of long term pest control advice and from what I could tell in just getting to know him for about an hour- knows more about bugs than I ever thought humanly possible. This could have been an awful experience. I was super bummed when I found a bunch of angry looking hornets crawling up and down the side of a house I’ve just purchased… but Matt suited up and took care of everything. Ive subscribed to their annual package and they’ll be back almost monthly to keep an eye on things, monitor worries I have and treat the yard for mosquitoes and ticks once it’s warm enough. If I could rate my experience with Matt with ten gold stars, I would.

TR always checks with me when making his schedule to accommodate my schedule. He texts a day or 2 before as a reminder, then texts when he’s on the way. He always asks if anything else is going on, or if any areas need special attention. It’s rare to get personal attention from larger companies in recent years, so to have it with TR as my technician is wonderful, and much appreciated. Cheers to whomever decided he’d be a good fit to this field, and especially to whomever assigned him to do my service calls!

10/4/22: Victoria, the Orkin Queen, has been our service agent for a couple of years now. We love her! She takes care of the pest control, but most importantly, she educates you on the pests behaviors and habits. Today, I learned how best to preserve a wasp nest that grew over the summer. (Wait until November to cut it away from the branches. They’ll be dead by then due to the cold.) Good call! Victoria always has a smile and friendly disposition. Thank you for the education! 2021: Victoria, the Orkin ‘Girl’ was very friendly and polite. Gave clear instructions and advice. Though, I think the first evaluation pricing is a bit much given the short amount of time onsite. Hope to have Victoria again for our next service!

Orkin has done a great job for us. We live in a rural area, and mice have been a persistent problem. We will never be completely free of the little pests, but since Orkin has been on the job, we no longer seen evidence of them. The Orkin technicians who have come here have always been great people, extremely professional, and very knowledgable about the best way to tackle this problem. The results speak for themselves, we just don't see mice, mice droppings, or any other evidence of the rodents. I highly recommend Orkin.

Today I am giving a 5 star review because I met the most AMAZING Orkin representative Andrew (Drew) Tidd. I almost didn’t continue my service with Orkin (as a company) because the wait for service was so long and backed up and expensive. And I was already very annoyed with the company in general for that. Especially since I was moving into a house I just bought. And wanted the house to be looked over before we moved in because we had already noticed Ants we’re an issue. They were so backed up I couldn’t have it looked at before we moved in. I was contacted the next week by Drew for service. And even though he had a very busy day scheduled. Once he knew I had been struggling to get service and really needed him to be there by 8:30 instead of the 10-12 slot I was in. He made it happen. And showed up exactly at 8:30, which really impressed me. But to top it off Drew was kind, courteous, smart, and professional. He had a wealth of knowledge. And I felt so confident in his service and years of experience that he is the ONLY reason I am keeping the Orkin service. And he is the only person I want to service my house. As a manager myself I think it’s really important that the company and Drew’s direct manager especially know what an asset they have with him. Andrew Tidd is the only reason I am continuing to use Orkin!

First off my appointment wasn’t until Monday, but Drew had a opening in his schedule and called to see if he could come out and take a look at our pest problems. Drew was great to have on site. He did a thorough inspection at my request and found numerous openings that needed sealing. It's amazing how you can believe your house is sealed well and find out there are so many penetrations that a mouse can easily squeeze through. Drew documented and clearly shared everything with me and then repaired everything to keep unwanted guests out. I highly appreciate Orkin, and the service that Drew provided.

Updated: TL;DR- I still recommend Orkin but definitely less enthusiastically. I was told that the services that I signed up for were not an option for me as the person that booked my appt was based in another state and my state does not offer them. They eventually agreed this was not my fault and came back out but then only performed half of the service. So, ultimately, the "treatment" for the mice problem was just putting some traps down and not sealing up the points of entry. If you have the money for the continuous plan, I think they'd be great but the short term plan is not a great value Original review- I was so stressed about the prospect of mice in my new home but my Orkin experience has been great so far. I was happy to see they offer one time service in addition to continuous plans and the man that came to perform the services was literally the best representative of a business I've dealt with since before the pandemic. I 100% recommend Orkin

You were supposed to come on the 20th between 12:00-2:00... you texted me at 4:10 to say you rescheduled for the 28th at 12:00-2:00... and then you didn't show up on the 28th with no text to reschedule... but you show up unannounced today? The communication skills with this company are horrendous. I called to set up an appointment and they said they would call me back with a service date and never did. I had to call back three more times to actually get an evaluation in place. Then people they sent we're absolutely lovely and confirmed that we did indeed have bats. Luckily they set up the next appointment because I have no faith the people you get on the phone could, or would, actually do it. The second set of people who did the first half of the extraction process were also great. They thoroughly checked our house and explained to me what they were doing, what our problem areas were and why, and explained how they would go forward. Again they set up the second appointment that would be done a few weeks later. Unfortunately I had an unexpected appointment Become scheduled for that same day, three days prior to it. I called the office and asked them to reschedule. The lady said she could but that she would have to call me back with when they would be coming because the person who would be servicing the house had a very particular schedule. That was fine with me, as it was my fault that it needed to be changed. I layer learned that she never told the serviceman and he showed up at my house anyway. Which is unfortunate because I’m sure he had better things he could be doing and it meant he thought I was a scatter brain. Again, I didn't hear back from Orkin on when the rescheduled day would be so I called back a week later (they had also been paid at this point so it felt a little like they were just going to run with the money). Finally I got an answer on when they would finish out. They sent the same serviceman out, which was how I learned he had shown up before even though I had made the call to reschedule. He was still very nice, and did a great job. He finished up and explained everything. Overall Orkin did get the job done and their service men were great, but their customer service reps are severely lacking in their ability to communicate. Apparently not just with the customers but also their fellow employees.

They ask for details about what the current problems are and where I have noticed activity. They take care to check other possibilities as well. They remediate and also ask if I need any thing else and remind me that I can call them in between services if I see any activity. They seem to care that they are doing a good job and are very willing to make it right. The service has made a big difference in the amount of pests inside and outside.

Cody was amazing. In his quarterly check 7/26/19, he thoroughly went over every area of my house checking for signs of mice. He reassured me that he hadn’t found any trace, but in the process of looking, he discovered a small ant infestation, which he took care of on the spot. Since Orkin came into my home last summer, I have not seen a single live mouse or a single new dropping. They were also very kind and sensitive about my extreme phobia of rodents. Job well done!!

Have had 3 visits with techs in a week time. Sorry I have had to adjust my review from a 5 to 3. The estimate went well, then the techs refusal to do what the estimator wanted done and all 3 refused with many excuses. One even told the estimator off. Many emails have gone out to resolve these issues. My husband has also been told that they spend too much time on there visits. I have to say if it was completed set up on first visit that we wouldn’t have to have more visits. It’s a shame.
