I was very pleased with the effectiveness of Modern Pest. They were at my property the day after I called them. I had a nightmare tennant evicted and was left with an atrocious mess which led to a major rat infestation. My service tech Will was very knowledgeable. He spent several hours thoroughly inspecting my property and talking to me about what he was going to do and what I needed to do. He spoke with my neighbors to inform them what to do to help eradicate the problem as well. The first 2 weeks we had rats in snap traps and rats dying from the bait stations. It only took 4 weeks and I have had no signs of rats since. Will inspects and treats my property monthly. I also didn’t know I had a carpenter ant problem until I found hundreds of dead ants on my front porch after the first insect treatment. I’m over the top thankful that my rat infestation is over.

Arrived on time. It was reassuring to see an employee who had serviced my contract in the past before Bug Beaters became part of Modern Pest. He remembered where all the bait boxes were, inside and out. Took his time. Very thorough. I highly recommend Modern Pest.

Great experience so far with Modern Pest! Travis called me only a few minutes after I made a request and was able to conduct a site visit and give me two quotes in less than 24 hours, and schedule our service install for the next week. This is great service for our commercial building and I can put our tenants at ease knowing that our mouse problem is being taken care of.

It was a split experience.. Communication was poor once I signed the contract online. I never received a notification email and when I called to ask about my appointment, the person on the phone told me the wrong day, causing the technician to show up a day early when I wasn't home. The in person experience was much better. The technician was professional, courteous, and did a thorough job.

The customer service on all levels was excellent. I received a call back within the same day to schedule a home inspection and initial service call. The technician that arrived on site was on time, professional, answered all of my questions and thoroughly explained what he was doing. The ants and wasps appear to be effectively mitigated. Eric, the company representative, was really terrific to work with. He made sure I got the right treatment for the job, made sure everything was scheduled properly and adjusted the appointment time when I needed him to. Just overall very excellent service! Getting my appointment was a bit complicated because they were having technical problems and I had to speak to a lot of different people, but once all that was ironed out, everything went smoothly. The technician who came to the house was right on time and professional and explained everything very well.so far we are pleased and we are hopeful they will solve our rodent issues.

They are not cheap but were willing to get to our cottage on a relatively quick turn-around to inspect for areas where mice were getting into the place. Closed the cottage down shortly thereafter so not sure how it’s going but tech was punctual and professional during inspection and provided answers to our many questions. Will update review when we can better assess the effectiveness of the interventions. Mg

I have used the mosquito and tick program with Modern for several years. It is very effective and allows my family to use the yard from Spring through Fall without issue. The dogs have not had ticks and the yard is virtually free of mosquitoes. (A stream in the backyard and a completely wooded lot is generally full of both ticks and mosquitoes) I had one issue a few years back with some type of tick nest hatching after the yard was sprayed. I called and within a day, the company had someone respond and take care of the issue with no additional charge. The staff has always been extremely professional at the house and I would highly recommend them.

Overrun with little ants. Nothing overt the counter helped. One call and representative arrive very knowledgeable particularly about protecting our beloved cat. No more ants, Kitty safe. Perfect

Didn't leave a "flag" letting me know they had treated for ants in the spring. Had to call to get an email receipt for this service. Needed a wasp nest removed,they didn't show up on the promised date. Had to call them to reschedule, because they "forgot" to call me about the missed appointment. Note; the technician who removed the nest did a great job.

Have been using Modern Pest control for years. I’ve enrolled in their maintenance prevention program as we have a continuous problem with wasp nests, ants and field mice. It would be helpful if the home owner were present for the inspection otherwise things may get missed. However, I would still recommend this company

We've been with Modern Pest for years. Their comprehensive plan of quarterly treatments has made a huge difference in making our 90 year old wood-frame house bug free. Whenever we've had questions or critters between treatments, MP has been quick to send a technician within a few days, sometimes sooner. Only once in the past several years has MP had to come out twice to treat the same pest. Our experience with the technicians has been good to great. They're personable and competent. Highly recommended.

The people at Modern Pest Service are the best. I was in a bind with bats that got in the house and I had to be in another state by afternoon and they were so kind to help me out with changing their schedule so I wouldn't have to leave my kids home with the bats. Not only did they get rid of them they took the time to answer my questions and educate me on our winged friends. I highly recommend Modern Pest Services.

I have been using modern for years at my log cabin in Maine. They go to the place when I'm not there take care of everything that needs to be done and leave a note so I know they came by. If I ever had an issue they would come by wether I was there or not and take care of it. No questions asked.

My Tech is very professional, and I loved that since it was so snowy out he used shoe covers this time as I just had carpets cleaned. Little things like that are much appreciated!

They came out and we talked about my concerns. After I explained what was going on, the rep from Modern Pest explained that my issue was very likely a one-time thing and did not require treatment. I'm not an entomologist, I don't know a ton about bugs and pests, which is why I called the pros. They could have fleeced me on this and they didn't. If I have any pest problems in the future, they're going to be first on my list. A+ for integrity, the world needs more folks like this.
