A technician by the first name Lucas called 30 minutes before arriving. His eta and his findings were on the money. He called and worked with several other technicians. They all worked together as a team to resolve my bug issues. Lucas was a true professional and showed true concern and a quick resolution. He was very respectful of my home as well. Christopher was our technician and was an absolute pleasure, especially given that we had a pretty unpleasant problem (bees!) he was helping us with. Thank you for the prompt and outstanding service today. I called late in the day on Friday and Phyllis was able to schedule Ron to come by within hours to take care of an ominous hornets nest in one of my trees. He arrived around 5:30 p.m., took the time to explain the procedure, and then went to work. By the time he left, dead hornets were falling from the nest. So grateful that he was able to stay late to take the service call. Thank you again for your time and expertise. And may those hornets RIP!

Great company to work with! Mike came and did the initial inspection, and he was funny, professional, made me feel comfortable about the mice problem. He didn't rush anything and talked through all the options so that my fiancée and I could make an informed decision about the course of action we wanted to take. Jack came today and did the treatment. He showed up within the time slot that was told to me, and called about 10 minutes before he showed to give a heads up. He too was professional and down to earth. He was here for close to an hour and a half to two hours setting traps inside and outside and spraying the perimeter. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I was so impressed by his eagerness to address all of my questions/concerns/needs. He provided me with a wealth of information on ants, as I’ve had an ongoing issue with them. Ron went ‘over and above’ to accommodate all of my concerns and he exceeded my expectations. I expressed that I’ve had a problem with carpenter ants and he provided a one-time service to find them and exterminate the nest. It’s employees like Ron that make me want to continue using this service. I believe that good employees make companies a success. He is definitely an asset to your company. UPDATE: Operations Manager responded to me directly and provided prompt and excellent customer service. They came to my house the next day. I've updated my previous review from 2 to 4 stars. -- I've called their number 10 x and their line just hangs up. For customer service press 4, done. "We're experiencing high call volume, listen carefully to our menu options as our options have changed." "If you're calling about a scheduled appointment or would like to schedule an appointment, press 2". Press 2 DONE. "Hello, you've reached the customer service department. All of our associates are busy with other customers, please continue to hold or press 1 to leave a message". I wait and wait, then it rings once and then nothing. The line just hangs. This has been going on for 3 days now. I've tried in the morning, afternoon, and night. Their call volume is high all hours of the day. (Not sure I believe that).

My family has been using them for almost 9 years now for continuous quarterly and as needed services. Started years ago with a surprise ant situation which was taken care of promptly and it has been maintained and managed ever since each year. They use mostly safe products that are animal, kid and eco-friendly chemicals and their services are reasonably priced. I have been a Suburban customer for many years. I’m writing this review because I want to thank Bill Zecca for the excellent work he has done when he was the technician who was assigned to my property before he became a supervisor at Suburban. The pest issues that my property had, virtually disappeared because of the professional exterminating techniques that he utilized to solve the problem. He always communicated with me what the issue was and how it would be resolved. When he became a supervisor I asked if I could continue to consult with him even though I would have a new technician. Of course he told me it would be fine. What precipitated my finally writing a review is this evening I noticed a pattern of unusual bugs on my carpeted basement floor. I quickly texted Bill a photo and asked what it was and how it could be handled. After texting I realized it was late and he probably wasn’t working and felt bad it because it wasn’t an emergency. Minutes later he texted back what it was and how it would be resolved. That’s an example of the dedication he has to his profession and the customer. Suburban is fortunate to have him as one of their supervisors and the technicians that work under him are lucky to have a supervisor they can learn how to do their jobs well.

My technician Chris O. arrived at my house promptly. Called me 20 min before arriving to say he was on his way. He was very professional and courteous. He asked me a few questions to understand the needs. He explained exactly what he was going to do and spent time throughout the affected areas of my house to see what else he needed to do. I felt comfortable with the fact that he knew what he was doing. I was skeptical at first using an exterminating company like Surburban however, after seeing Chris do his work I am very glad I did. Chris O called us ahead of the appointment to let us know he was on his way. He treated the all perimeter of the house, deck, fences. He also asked us if we had any specific problems and where, and used a gel on some areas in our kitchen where we have ants. Before entering the house, he put a mask and shoe covers on, which we appreciated. He told us what to expect, and that he will be back in two weeks to make sure we did not have any problems. Chris is courteous, personable, and efficient.

We decided to make a switch, as our other company was not customer service friendly at all. I called Suburban and had nothing but wonderful customer service experiences and both service techs, Ron and Glen, were efficient and friendly. Glen installed all the new termite bates and did a service. Ron came and killed a HUGE hornets nest in the yard. (During 90 degree weather!) It was so bad we couldn’t get to the pool filter! He came back today and removed the hive. Appointments are made and kept! They work timely and cost is much more reasonable! You cannot go wrong with using this company.

My father is an 84 year old memory impaired gentlemen wirh some health issues and Ron always communicates with him gently and makes him feel independent and then follows up with me to make sure he is safe when he treats his home. I initially called Suburban because I saw a small mouse, about the size of a half dollar, in my kitchen. I have been in my home for almost 22 years and never had an issue with rodents. The woman who took my initial inquiry was fabulous but I had a few rude experiences with the schedulers. Chris, the technician that has come to my house is ultra amazing. Professional, friendly and knowledgeable. I just adopted a dog and was nervous about what they would use. He was sure to explain everything he was doing and the products they were using were not going to harm my pet. He even takes a moment to say hello to her during his visits. It has been several weeks and I have not seen the mouse since. I am confident that whatever Chris did forced the little one back out of my house because he hasn't been in any of the traps so that makes me happy. I would recommend them with a good and clear conscience.

He really took the time to check all the traps every time and let me know if there was something i should know or do for the problem. I had order a mosquito package for the summer because I am a huge mosquito magnet and get welts when bitten….Albert Rios was my technician twice so far and was nothing but amazing…he made sure all of my gates were closed and locked after leaving (super important since I have a dog) and was nothing but professional. I hope to have him for the rest of my service contract! Most importantly though have not received one bite so far and I live in front of a sump and wooded area! Great for one-time treatments and bug treatments, but don't expect communication when using their warranty. I used Suburban Exterminating for their Edge program and to get rid of moles in my lawn. The mole exterminator was friendly for the first treatment, and I was given a 60 day warranty, but I was never given the opportunity to ask him questions during the warranty follow ups -- I just got an email saying they stopped by. When I called to ask the questions, I was told that the exterminator would call me back, but he never has. This happened many times and I still don't have the answers I was looking for. I'm now outside of the warranty and still have moles in my lawn because I was never able to have a proper conversation about where the mole hills are popping up. I'm giving 3 stars because their communication when treating the house for bugs has been great, but I am very dissatisfied with the communication during the 60 day mole warranty.

Recently had a swarm of what looks like wasps on my front lawn and called for a service. Was told by the customer service person that these are called 'cicada killers' and are generally not dangerous to humans. 4.5 stars: It took a few seasons to take but we longer have swarming. I have witnessed the termites in the area when I did some yard work and they have been consuming the bait. The company is responsive to the calls but it was frustrating the first few seasons not seeing results and each new inspector explaining the previous inspector didn’t know what they were saying. The initial cost is high and the annual maintenance is too, but the damage termites do is dangerously high. If you have the budget to afford this I recommend it. Be patient, it does work. Also if you live on Long Island it’s safe to assume you have termites, don’t keep wood on your property, if you do keep it elevated off the ground. If the price was lower I would score 5 stars.

We bought a house a year ago and recently this spring we notice some carpenter ants in the house. A previous suburban representative had told us to cut down a group of pines trees very close to the house that were a known nest of carpenter ants. Today we had the trees cut down. The first rep was right, hundreds of ants came pouring out of the tree. We called suburban immediately to help with the issue. Their phone rep Danielle kept me on hold while securing a rep to come to the house ASAP! In less than 2 hours Imran Khan came to our house. We explained our issue and he quickly assessed the situation and sprang into action recommending both indoor and outdoor spraying and a special powder for the affected area. He was very knowledgable, kind and respectful. He gave us information regarding what he sprayed and the types of pests it would take care of. He left tonight with our issue solved. We were so thankful for his expertise and if the need for service arrives again we will absolutely be using suburban again and requesting Imran Khan as our rep!

I have been with suburban for many years and have found them to be very accomondating. Especially today. I heard a noise in my wall and thought it might be a mouse. An exterminator came and while very caring, he was allergic to bees so i was scheduled for Mon. However this morning I noticed a change in the wall. It got soft and when i touched it a small hole appeared. I called suburban in a panic. Can i wait or are the yellow jackets about to enter the house. She was sympathetic and asked Imsan Kahn if he'd be willing to add me to his full schedule. He agreed. Very professional, he even call on his way here. He looked outside and inside. We discussed options, take nest out or kill and leave, etc. He sprayed and explained how they nest. Also to check for an activity after 48 hrs and call back. He also informed me that you have a carpenter who can fix the hole. Free estimate and all. And afyer all these years I learned you spray for mosquitos. ANYWAY, i highly recommend surburban exterminators. Professional, attentive, informative, caring yet not pushy

We had a problem with wasps coming in through the front of the house and somehow getting into a bedroom. We couldn't figure out how they were getting in. suburban came and sprayed on two separate occasions and we still found bees in the bedroom. We cleaned out the closet trying to find their entry point and found that they had gotten through the wall! The drywall had gotten so saturated with wax the wall was rotting. We called and they sent someone immediately. They removed the hive in the wall, treated again outside and promised this should be it. Gino was fantastic coming so quickly, and left no mess. Fingers crossed this is the end !
