We had LA Pest Control services for several years. Cody was our original tech with this company, and he provided good service. He was replaced with another tech, and the service dropped off considerably. The new tech did not spray the whole perimeter of the house, and even sprayed shoes that were left outside. I called in a complaint, but the tech denied my concerns. It became a he said/she said situation. Bottom line, La pest control did not handle my compliant to my satisfaction, nor did I feel supported as a customer. We have parted ways. Update: Owner, Bart, has reached out concerning my previous complaint. He was very personable and understanding, listened to all concerns, and provided excellent customer service. He worked with us to get a different technician. The new technician was at our house within 24 hours. The new technician was very professional, communicated very well, and did a very good job servicing her home. Considering the personal care exhibited by the owner, I have changed my review back to 5 stars. Thank you Bart for your care and consideration.

Work was completed efficiently and I was given complete explanations of what was needed and how the bait system works. LA Pest control has been great. I especially appreciate Hank who always addresses my concerns with professionalism. I do have a suggestion though. I would appreciate a text the day before my service to remind me that LA pest control is coming to “X” address at “X” time. If I want to confirm hit 1 or to cancel hit 2. I set up service thinking it was at my rental property. When I saw a man on my cameras at my personal home I was alarmed. My mistake but we live in a fast paced society with busy people. It would be nice to have the text reminder with provider, treatment address, time, etc. At the very least leave a hang tag to say who was there.

The gentleman I spoke with was professional and one specifically important detail was, after I told him what my dermatologist said my bites were from he said that is what they would treat the rooms for and no inspection was necessary. This meant no delays they would rid my rooms of bed bugs. The Technician was professional and when I explained to her the problem appeared to be in only one room, I had three days to look for signs from those sleeping in the onr other room. She saved me money by taking care of the one room but gave me steps to ensure my room clothing and bedding as well as the other rooms were taken care of placing all items in hot dryer for an hour. She actually went above and beyond by putting my bed back together because we were ederly. Highly recommend this business,!

We called the LA Pest Control Baton Rouge location for help with rodent control after learning they had state licensed wildlife trappers as part of their team. We hired the company to perform a rodent inspection with hopes of finding intrusion points. Their inspection was totally worth it and we noticed a huge difference in the thoroughness of their inspection compared to using a regular exterminator for the same work. We were pleased with their outdoor inspection including the structure top to bottom, interior and complete attic in all accessible locations. They found breaches in the structure that we couldn't locate over several months trying it ourselves and they made recommendations to curtail rodent activity. They also safely baited interior and exterior with the inspection. Our representative D was friendly, on time and explained everything he was doing and finding in a manner that was easy to understand. We made a follow up appointment for the company to perform rodent exclusion services in the future.

Technician showed up on time at 730 am. We switched to baited traps for termites from liquid and the technician explained indetail where the traps would be set and how he would install. Got right to work and had it all installed in about 2 hrs. Great service and very polite technician.

La Pest Control did the present on our house as it was being built and we felt they should continue the service after we moved in. We have lived in our house going on 7 years now. Louisiana Pest Control always takes good care of us and our home’s pest control needs. We do a regular quarterly treatment and rarely see bugs with that treatment. We get termite renewal every year and feel confident if we ever had a problem they would take good care of us. Paid for renewal of termite contract. Contacted receptionist to schedule an inspection date and time and was not given a specific date. I was told I would be added to the list of people to be inspected. Two months have elapsed and no receipt of service or inspection results. This tells me no inspection or treatment has been performed as of yet. I have a two year old constructed house. Perhaps they are confident no activity will occur so I get put to the back burner? I'm not an expert at this stuff so maybe this is no big deal? I am old school mentality however and that if I pay for a service promptly when a company bills me I expect a reasonable return time on service rendered. Two months I feel is a little excessive amount of time. Also, I have two year old house at what point should interior of dwelling be inspected? I have never had that done since the initial construction of the house. Are newly constructed homes termite proof around plumbing fittings in the slab? Someone with knowledge please reply to my post. I am rating this company 3 stars for slowness in 2016 as I never had this problem in the past with this company.

We contacted this company after receiving a quote for around $900 from Critter Control. We discovered one outside vent broken and realized a raccoon had made its way into our attic and was coming back nightly. Bart came the following day and inspected our attic. He set a trap and we caught the raccoon the following morning. Their prices are EXTREMELY reasonable and they don’t offer unnecessary services.
