I’ve used J&J since I bought my home in 2020 and they’ve been excellent. Every time I call, the ladies that answer the phones are great to talk to and always cheerful. Any questions we’ve had in the past were answered with absolute professionalism. The techs that have come out to the house, from the very beginning for the termite inspection when we purchased our home were very respectful, knowledgeable, professional and personable. I’ve never had a bad experience with J&J and it’s employees. 👍🏻👍🏻

Comes out and eliminates any and every insects or rodents! Quick and fast,you wouldn’t even know they’re there.inspected all traps and spayed the attic. They’ve also laid traps in the attic! I mean they’ve turned every stone. I rate them a 10 for outstanding work!

Did not respect their contract at all. Service tech was unreliable and did not show up at scheduled times and would appear without notice at other times. Our concerns were brushed off by the manager. We discussed with J&J (manager AND service tech) at length the importance of coming during scheduled hours while we were out of town and had a house sitter. Both the manager and service tech told us they understood. No surprise, no call no show both dates. Called again after we got back and after a discussion with another manager (who was rude and unhelpful) were told to expect a call back. Two days ago and we're still waiting. Complete waste of time and money. We'd be better off doing the job ourselves. Paid $400 for them to set a few traps and that's it. Edit: Raising my rating because the owner immediately reached out to us and made things right. If the local office had been that responsive we would not have had these issues but I appreciate the owner taking responsibility and helping us.

Never had to have termite coverage before so was a new customer. When they were not able to come out for their previously scheduled date to do the inspection they ended up scheduling me for weeks later. I requested they come sooner. Got a call the next day that I was on their schedule! The servicer was flexible and waited to arrive till I could get home. All makes me very happy with their service.

For the most part, they are responsive and helpful, but sometimes the inspections vary in terms of thoroughness. If I have an issue, though, they are quick to respond, fix and follow up.

He called me to ensure I was taken care of and happy. He even came out to introduce me to my new technician, Mike, who did an amazing job! I have pets and it's great to have a company that uses pet friendly supplies and Mike made sure my pets were safe! After skirting the termite swarms the past few years damage free, I decided that I’d tested my luck long enough. I called a few companies for quotes and almost signed a contract. On a whim, I searched for local pest control companies and found J&J, the reviews speak volumes! They set and appt for me very quickly, came out and gave us an estimate for pest control and termite prevention. The price was very competitive and much better than the others I’d received. I come from a strong customer service background and this is definitely evident in J&J. From their on site technicians to the phones, it’s consistent! We give five stars to our on site technician Chris! Not only did he put my mind at ease that I’d made the right decision, but he also let me know they a payment plan. His suggestion to schedule service sooner rather than later was brilliant! This is the first year I don’t have to worry about pest control, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the service. Before you sign a contract with another company, definitely call J&J!

I called Greg about a flea problem that I thought I had. After coming over to talk to me about it, he determined that the issue was not nearly as bad as I thought and offered their quarterly protection package as a way to keep away any potential infestations in the future. I never felt pressured to sign up for anything, Greg simply gave me all of the information I needed to make an informed decision. On top of all of that, the price was way better than anyone else that I had looked into. Great experience, I would recommend Greg and his team to anyone.

J&J came out immediately after my initial call. The sale's man explained the entire process in great detail. A few days later the technicians came out and complete the service. The sale's man called to follow up to make sure everything was done as described and if I had any questions about the service. In addition to the professionalism I received the cost of the service was a fraction of the cost of the larger name companies that were servicing our area. Great experience, I would highly recommend J&J Exterminating!

Five, four, three, and even two years ago, J&J would have been a Five-Star in my book because I never met a Kenner city roach, but then my favorite tech had to go an retire and now the roaches AND their mommas just line up against the front of my house waiting on me to high-five them as I run by them! 😱😭 Would have given this company a two-star, but they have come out and attempted to make amends every single time I’ve called them, so that earns them the extra star. 👍🏽

I first called J&J on Sunday, and wasn’t expecting an answer- but was told someone would be in touch shortly to book an appointment. The first thing in the morning, Terry called me and we booked a time for him to come by for the next day, to check out my rodent (and small roach) issue. He was punctual, and beyond knowledgeable and accommodating! He got me set up for a deal on a year of service, and even went out of his way to pick up a dead mouse that I had in the house, without being asked to do so! Would highly recommend this company and Terry especially.

I would recommend J&J Exterminating. They are always responsive and have a person available to take messages. I wish the person who takes messages could confirm meetings or arrange appointments though. Also, with my termite renewal, I paid my renewal but had to initiate a phone call in order to set up an appointment 2 weeks later. I understand it's a busy time of year but was disappointed to have never heard from them.

Annual service and re-inspection. Don came over and did a walk through of the house and replaced our Sentricon baits including the ones under our brick walkway and replaced a few cones that had to be uprooted due to some recent landscaping work. Extremely nice, knowledgeable and quick. Those qualities combined with a Louisiana-owned family business is where I will put my money every time. I wish there were more businesses like J&J in the area...

Don Miller was our exterminator with J&J, and he punctually came by to service our termite protection. He explained how the baits worked, and he was very informative about the behavior of termites and their life cycle. He thoroughly investigated under the house and provided detailed advice on how we can best prevent incursions by termites. Don even inspected structures in the yard that are beyond the bait station coverage. He is extremely well informed, and he is very adept at communicating his expertise. As an added bonus Don was super nice to my dog. We would recommend Donald Miller and J&J Exterminating to anyone.

Took off 1 star because it took 5 working days to get call back to set appt. to discuss and assess my property. My rep was Lionel A. who knew their services well, had technical experience and explained my options well. I chose a termite contract for installation and annual monitoring of a bait system. This company uses evidence-based methods, and I feel confident I will have a partnership with them to protect my home and shed.

First it is embarrassing to admit that you might have a pest problem that has gotten out of hand however at no point did J&J make me feel uncomfortable or ashamed about my pest problem. Instead the superior service I got either from the receptionist, who put me in contact with Will the Account Manager, who was helpful while working with me in my time restraints, (I’m a school teacher) or the technician Jonathan who at no point made me feel embarrassed about my problem was first class. Jonathan showed up exactly on time and worked expertly addressing all my concerns in a professional and knowledgeable manner. After methodically targeting all my current pest issues he even went above what I had expected and set my family up to prevent future issues. The peace of mind I was left with gave me the first restful night sleep I have had since the pest problem started. Later that afternoon I was surprised that Will reached out to me and wanted to know if I was satisfied with the service and if there was anything else he could do for me. It is rare to see in todays society the commitment to customer satisfaction that I had with J&J and I am very excited and proud to use them in the future.

The tech who came by most recently was a true professional. Not only did he check the sentricon plugs and walk the perimeter of the slab, but he walked around inside looking for signs of termites. He also gave me tips on what to look for and assured me that if we saw any signs before the next inspection, J&J would come out immediately to inspect and treat if necessary. The only reason I don't give a 5th star is because previous inspections were not as thorough. Based on the last one alone, I'd have given 5 stars.

Mr. and Mrs. J. Davis, New Orleans My husband and I both work for a company with unorthodox hours. We've reached out to customer service reps asking for scheduling that would coincide with the hours we are home (and awake). If we're scheduled in the morning block, we miss the tech who arrives before we get home, (no calls to see if we're available for the time he's attempting to arrive at our home); if we're scheduled in the afternoon block, the tech doesn't arrive until the last possible minute. Meanwhile, we've been awake for about 14-16 hours by then and would need to be up for work again in about 5-6 hours. We can't understand why a company who wants to have a service business could not have more ease of scheduling or techs who want to work. In fact, the last pest control appointment we had about 3 months ago, the guy spent all of 30 seconds in my 1300 sq ft home! Today we discovered that we were charged ( through automatic draft) for a visit which didn't take place because we weren't home from work when the tech showed up. My husband called for a reschedule and no one said anything about a pending charge. Now our bank issued an overdraft. THE FEE SHOULD HAVE NEVER BEEN COLLECTED BECAUSE THE SERVICE WAS NOT COMPLETED. Extremely unprofessional and frustrating. We chose J&J over Orkin because they are local. I'm questioning this decision. I welcome a call from the manager/owner because if the tech who visited 3 months ago is the same who tried to visit this week, I want someone else to spray. I'm not paying $85 for someone to "pretend" he's treating our home.
