We made the switch to this company a couple of years ago, due to more affordable pricing. We have been very happy with our switch. The staff is very flexible with any changes, they listen to your needs and issues and correct them with each visit. Also, a great benefit is if there are any issues after your services, you can call and they will come out and do what is needed at no extra cost. We have been bug and rodent free now for 3 years, and we highly recommend using Aptive for your home pest needs!

20 yrs ago I almost died from a wasp attack. Then a few years ago I bought a house that had a terrible bees and wasp issue! I was terrified to go outside. Then I got Aptive and could finally enjoy my yard again! Our new house doesn't have bees or wasps, but I still use Aptive. They're worth every penny! Also Tyler is awesome. Super nice and professional! Great service.

I've used aptive for 5+ years. They are very responsive and timely so I can plan on being home with confidence. Any special issues that have come up bees ants they've made additional trips without charging. As long as we stay up on their visits we have no issues with insects inside the home. All of their techs are super friendly and accommodating.

Aptive is great. Service staff is always professional and communicative. I like that they don’t use harsh chemicals because I have kids and pets. They’ll come back out to retreat any areas between scheduled services as needed. Their service is fairly comprehensive, treating both inside and outside the home for both rodents and insects. Aptive as a whole is a decent company, however is hit or miss.... depends on who you talk to. Customer service in my experience is not helpful. Managers are more attentive to customer needs. Service techs - both named Emanuel - are very professional, polite and attentive to customer and meeting/exceeding customer expectations.

Stacey from Aaptiv take such amazing care of us! She treats my home like it’s her own. She always talks to me before getting the job started and make sure to take care of any special interest needs where I have concerns. She made a great recommendation this last time regarding stink bugs. We always seem to get attacked in November and early December by these nasty bugs. I’m going to use her secret of three drops of Dawn and a half cup of water and spray on the bugs. She was willing to treat the inside of our house for them as well but gave me this little tip in case they bug me in between visits. Thank you Stacey for watching out for us when the bugs start to try to take over our house in the winter!

Wow! We just switched to Aptive. Today my bug girl texted me before the appointment to ask me if we were having any issues. I mentioned mice. She showed up on time and talked to me about what she would do. When I moved into my house I noticed there was an issue with ants and I was finding a fair amount of bugs inside the house. After using aptive that problem has been resolved. Even now that it’s getting colder I haven’t noticed any bugs inside the house! The employees are always helpful and professional.

Your service technicians keep getting better and better everytime they come to service our property and house. Today, Dayman Newman, was our service technician. He went above and beyond with rodent extermination. He crawled into our small crawl space and to search for and find holes where rodents were entering inside our home. I was satisfied with how it worked for the bugs coming into the house. There was an initial uptick when first laid down but very little after about a week. Disappointed though in the protection I was promised for our hostas around our house. Seems it was as bad or worse than any previous year. I don’t know if they forgot to put out the item that protects them or if it simply didn’t work but the hostas got hit hard. Otherwise having a relatively big-free summer inside

We were referred to the service by a work colleague. We made contact via the internet and, on the same day, a representative- Austin W. - stopped by our house and explained the service and options. He was an excellent representative and set and appointment the next day. The following day, Carlesha F. - stopped by to do the treatment. She sent me a text with a 30 minute notice, and showed up perfectly on time. She was professional, articulate, and very kind. And my dogs liked her. After a quick explanation of the treatment for the day, she got to work, treating for problem ants in my kitchen and then applying sprays to the outside foundation and lawn. She was quick to explain that the pesticides needed to dry for 30 minutes before my dogs should go out but that the residue would not harm them Based on references and their professional approach, this is a great company with happy employees and it shows. Thanks for a great experience.

Gerry 3, was so helpful. He was professional and took the time to listen and find all the spots outside out house where the wasps were nesting into our siding. This is our first time using Aptive; this was a door to door sales approach, and I was happy to except it. I really felt comfortable with Justin the sales manager that stopped by, as was Gerry, our service technician. Justin was able to get a technician out today, which was very helpful since I happen to be home. I hope in the next few days we do see positive results on our siding entrances where the bees were entering so we could give a better review on the actual benefit of using this company other then how nice the employees were. As for now, for sure customer service was a great experience!

Dennis, our Service Tech, serviced our home today (9/13/21) and did a fine job. He was able to locate and remove a nest of hornets that have been tormenting our Hummingbirds at the feeding station. There were dead hornets everywhere and I'm sure the Hummingbirds will appreciate being able to eat in peace. I will also say that we have not had a mouse problem since Aptive set two unobtrusive bait stations on the exterior of our home. The rep happened to stop by since they were doing our neighbors houses and we were new to the neighborhood. They did a great job, they are always very friendly. We had no flea issues this summer with any of our pets. They came back out to spray our swing set even when we got wasps on it. Very happy with them. Great service and great pricing!

He was super professional, being sure to explain the procedure, ask my preferences, and verify that I understood prior to providing any services, and very kind throughout the process (which was pretty quick!). He too was professional and explained the services and payment plan I was signing up for and to ask for my preferences. My 5 star rating is for my service technician, NOT for the door to door sales rep that came out to sell us the service. Aptive, you need to coordinate your sales and service teams. Each needs to know what the other does, otherwise you just look unprofessional as a whole. This was our initial treatment and he was very thorough so I'm optimistic.

We only use outdoor service and we have been very satisfied. However, this summer we noticed an influx of tiny ants in our kitchen. Aptive made a special trip out to treat them and they were completely done after one treatment.

They do a great job controlling the spiders and hornets, and wasps. They like to build nests on our house. They also treat under two of our tree lined areas for tickets to help keep our yard safer for kids and pets. The only reason I gave 4/5 instead of 5/5 is because when we signed up I asked to sign up for one year, and the sales person who put everything through put it in for two years. That being said, I am happy with them so far so it will probably be ok.

Aptive service techs have always been professional and courteous. Especially throughout 2020, they are respectful and wear masks for any service done in the home. If we have ever noticed big activity, they are responsive and willingly return between regular visits for additional treatment without additional costs.

Sales lady did a great job explaining the cost and services. Our tech was perfectly on time. Did a great job reconfirming everything he was going to do. He also talked me through exactly how the treatments work and how other customers like to do them. He seemed to care deeply about the results of the treatment and I'm looking forward to the follow ups. Sounds like pricing and policies vary by the reps you have. I guess you should read the contract closely before signing up to see if yours are offering fair terms. Here's what ours are: $99 discounted first visit. $129 per quarterly visit. 12 month contract. If you cancel before 12 months you have to pay the diff between the discounted first visit and it's normal price. That normal price is $249 so it'd cost us $150 to cancel.

My technician was very courteous and thoughtful. He was running a little late but called me which I appreciated. He also wore booties over his boots to protect my carpet. He explained everything before he did it and the reason why he was doing it. After he completed his service he explained the next step. Very happy with Aptiva. We used them in our previous home in West Bend. They also have a guarantee that's a no brainer! Ask about it.

Updated 11/20/20 Alex here again and hasn't lost his touch. He has to be one of the friendliest service technicians in any business. He remembers me and my property discussing his last visit in detail and letting me know how things currently are with the bug season. He hit every area of concern and discuss tips on helping control potential problems.. Emmaul let me know ahead of time when he was coming the morning of my appointment. He asked if I had any specific concerns or questions. I showed him two places on my hose where I thought I had heard mice in the wall. He explained it could be something other than mice. He,asked if I had actually seen a mouse. I answered No. He debated all the traps and did a through check of the outside of my house, and dusted for insects.

We've used their services for three years and we've always been very pleased. They've addressed our pesky insect issues, particularly wasps and hornets, in the warmer months and kept mice from burrowing into walls in the cold months. Their technicians will educate you about pest origins and life cycles and they take a preventative approach that's tailored to our particular surroundings instead of just applying some general pesticide and doing that excessively. I also appreciate that they use mostly pesticides that are environmentally friendly, like derived from chrysanthemums.

They do a full sweep of the house, quarterly, and make sure to take care of any detailed issues you're having. Over the summer, I advised the one rep of some wasps that had made a home where the roof meets our garage. She didn't have any remaining spray with her, but she went up and used my spray to get them, and then came back with the industrial-strength brand to finish the job. Service-wise, I can't say enough good things about this company!

Our Aptive technician Mike has treated our outside for ants and other invasive insects. He has done a thorough job and has always been prompt. He is very personable and explains the treatment in detail and is receptive to our concerns. It’s not exactly cheap but I particularly appreciate that if we get an ant infestation in the house after their visit, they’ll come back at no additional charge & treat the inside of our house. I would advise the Aptive ownership to suggest that their employees refrain from wearing political statements/hats when on the job. Our most recent tech was great but I think the Trump hat would be best left in the truck. I’d say the same thing if it were a Biden hat. Service was good in general. Treatment GOT RID of the ants and for that we are thankful. Representatives always arrived on time. Problem was the last treatment in March, which was applied when our yard was all covered with snow. When I called Aptive’s attention, the response was that treatment is suitable for the weather and that ‘it is part of the contract’ with following exclamation points. I was offered to reschedule, however snow is going to stay here for a while. This is Wisconsin and it is March. I never claimed it was not part of the contract. Thing is, I am not sure there will be another contract.

We've been having Aptive take care of our pest control for over a year now. We don't have even the slightest complaint .Wasps are gone. Ants are nowhere near the house. They've been responsive when we've asked for additional visits, and friendly every time we've talked to them. Most impressive to me was that we built a shed up on top of a hill after initially hiring them, and asked that it be added for treatment. It's an easy thing to lose in paperwork and miss on the next visit, but they get it every time and we never had to mention it again. Couldn't be happier with the choice to hire them.

When discussing the problems I was having with bugs/stink bugs and gnats, I was informed these problems could be controlled with aptive services. However the technician arrived he tells me there is nothing he can apply in my home to take care of the gnats.. He does go on to give me methods of treatment to get rid of them. A week later I’m still dealing with this problem after taking the technicians advice to eradicate them. The gnat problem was the primary reason for purchasing these services. Also it was my understanding the initial fee covered the first quarter only to find out that I still have to pay the agreed amount payed quarterly ,in a month. Your salesmen need to be transparent about everything. I guess your company has a policy of “ if a customer doesn’t ask detailed questions, don”t offer anything “.
