Let me start with this is no situation anyone wants to find themselves in. Once we saw one bed bug on a bathrobe, it was all downhill from there. My family wasn't sleeping, we tried all the at home products you can buy. After no change in our bed bugs infestation, we decided we needed professional help. We just couldn't take it anymore. We called Affordable Bed Bug Exterminator and seriously that was the best decision we could have made. They worked with us on 3 different reschedules and never gave us any grief about it. I made several phone calls to the office making sure we were following the pretreatment checklist properly, Doug was very helpful and patient in all my questions and concerns each time. Then the day came and our exterminator James walked in the door! We were never happier to see a person in our life! He was so professional, thorough, genuine, answered all our questions, did a walk through of the house with me and kept in contact with me after we left the house so he could get started. We decided to go with the heat and chemical combo. I wanted those things gone that night. It is costly, but trust me you get what you pay for! That man, James he worked his tail off. When we came back to the house you could tell he sprayed every single knook and cranny of this house. We straightened things up and waited for his return to begin the heat treatment of our last room. He was always there at every time he stated he would be. He put in extra effort and time in getting our last room to heat up. It took a lot of tapping off and blocking airflow and he stayed in that room with heaters running mind you for hours and I do mean hours making sure the room was going to get to the right temperature for us. I honestly felt like he was treating our home like he would his own house. When he packed up and was getting ready to leave he was making sure all rooms had been clear and that we were satisfied with his work. I can not thank James or Affordable Bed Bug Exterminator enough, it was the first night in what seems like a century that my entire family slept through the night without a worry in our minds. I have worked in some form of customer service my whole life and these people and this company is worth every penny!!

When I came to Wisconsin to visit my elderly parents I was shocked to find my Dad had a bed full of bed bugs. I know it can be difficult to get rid of them completely so I wanted to find a company that specialized in bed bugs. I really can't praise Doug and James enough. They are not only knowledgeable and professional but are also willing to go the extra mile with customer service. We were able to get the treatment the day after we contacted them. I have called Doug on multiple occasions. He always answers and is so patient with all the questions (both reasonable and paranoid). James is so thorough and also accommodating. He did extra work to help me since I am doing this alone. For the retreatment after I leave, he volunteered to strip the beds and bag the bedding for my parents because it is so hard for them. I am just so grateful for both Doug and James.

These guys are the best! I was one of those people that thought only hoarders and messy people got bed bugs....My OCD neat-freak self could not have been more wrong! I discovered a bed bug and I wanted to burn my house down, I was so grossed out. I called Affordable Bed Bug Exterminators as soon as they opened and spoke with Doug (I was a bit frantic). He was great at explaining the process of treatment, bed bugs activity, and dos/don'ts before my exterminator appointment. He also explained how it really can happen to anyone and you can bring them home from pretty much anywhere. After reading reviews this is the only company I felt comfortable with to do the job and do it right! I was really freaked out and Doug answered all my questions during our first call and even my call(s) after that lol. John (11 years experience) completed the service and was so professional, kind, and wonderful as well. Again I had a list of questions and he answered them all before he got started. My cat and I left for the day and he did his thing. I came back later that night and was happy to see all my treated furniture and the dead bugs on my box spring. I trusted the process and I would say it's a success. Follow their instructions on the website and papers and you should be good. Remember the point is for any remaining bugs to walk across the treated surface so they die...I felt weird being 'bait' for the first few nights back in my bed, but I trusted the process and have seen no evidence of any bugs since. I know they can go dormant for a bit so I will be living out of bags for the next 2 weeks...but I feel confident in that they got rid of those things for good!! Thank you Doug and John for your help!! I will definitely recommend you guys to anyone that needs it!!

Haven't seen a bedbug so far and it's been weeks. Loved how the person who came here(sorry I forgot his) filled me in on how the process went and what to expect. He took his time with us because we were so not ready for him only a few days notice from landlord. He waited very patiently while we got our fur babies in the van to go. The only thing I can say that I didn't like was when I came home my house was turned upside down. But I understand it's what needs to be done I was just surprised. Once the process is done I will update more.

The owner of ABBE is the most patient person that I have ever talked to. I think I called him several times because I’m a nervous nellie. John was the person that came to do the work. He also was patient person because I asked him all of the questions all over again. Trust me if they can deal with me they can deal with anyone. However, as mentioned on the site, give them a call and they will respond and are willing to work through your questions. On site, James was knowledgeable and thorough.
