My wife and I bought a new home and after.being here a few week we started seeing roaches in or kitchen. We thought we could buy a few thing from HomeDepot to get rid of them. We tried for about a month but the problem was getting worse. We decided that we should call a pest control company. I looked at reviews on google and decided to call Toler Pest Control. Kenny came by and talk to us about our roach problem and came up with a plan to control them and to eradicate them. I am happy to say we have been roach free now for over a year and a half. Ken Toler, co-owner/operator of Toler Pest Control, came on the same day I called about bees digging into the brick of my home. He told me about them and let me know they wouldn’t dig far enough into the brick to cause problems. I scheduled another appointment for the ants and spiders. He sprayed all around very quickly and efficiently. I plan to continue to use the service and appreciated the flexibility with which they work.

What a breath if fresh air! Ken Toler did a great job of solving our yellow jacket problem. I called him after 2:00 on a Friday, by 4:30 he was here! He sprayed the nest which was between the brick and the drywall of our house, waited until he was confident the wasps were expired, and even plugged up the hole in the masonry before he left. He stayed until he was sure the job was done right. He truly cared about our problem and solved it quickly and affordably, without trying to sell us a bunch of stuff that we don't need. After dealing with the big "Pest Control" companies, who send out salesmen rather than experts, I'm so glad we found Toler Pest Control and would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone who needs a prompt, real solution to a pest control problem.

I posted my full review on angies’s list, so check there. But a summary is I found damage earlier this week and called a major pest control company. The reason I did not call toler is that I had called a few years ago and they no longer did termites. They did come out that time and I did not have termites, so I was very happy. But I knew this week, these were termites. Major company identified carpenter ants, not termites. So much for my knowing the difference between termite and carpenter ant. Treatment recommended was termite treatment for approximately $1100 with annual fee of $160. I went out in a very sleepless nite and googled an endless amount of information on termites and carpenter ants. The normal treatment for carpenter ants is bait after removing the damage and sealing up so the area is no longer damp which is the breeding ground for the ants. Termite treatment is not a guaranteed or normal treatment for carpenter ants. I called and terminated contract major company and called toler. Believe it or not he worked me in the same afternoon. Told me it would be late, but he would be there. Well it was after dinner and I would not want his work hours but he came. He immediately identified water damage above the windows on back poarch. The water was then running down post wher I found them. We peeled the wrapping back and found cause. The only effective treatment is to remove cause and seal up water issue. Yes I need a carpenter. He then said chemical treatment needed to wait till this was accomplished. He told me how I could do this myself or the cost for them to do, $300-500. It would be a big job for me and i will not attempt. I forgot to mention the other company was going to drill in the mortar between my tile floor on poarch, well they are not in tile or concrete but in the wood on poarch so this would just be extra work. He was just a fountain of information, and explained in a manner I could make a decision. He was not rushed even though he had worked me in. I can sleep tonite, well actually I was napping when he got here I was so exhausted from worrying, researching, and second guessing everything. Yes I have to get carpenter and will fix cause of water, seal it up and then call them back for chemical treatment. The total cost for all this information and diagnosis, $45. Would I recommend, yes. I had used the company in the late seventies and eighties when father was the energizer bunny. My only wish is I had called them first.
