UPDATE: After this post, the company didn't reach out to me regarding reimbursement and became very responsive. The issue is now resolved. Thank you! DO NOT USE!! Terrible, terrible experience. I let the technician know I have 2 dogs when he came to treat our apartment for mice. He placed toxic poison and did not list it on the report. The dogs had to be hospitalized overnight after ingesting the anticoagulant poison, resulting in a $1300 vet bill. The manager, Jason, promised to reimburse me if I submitted receipts, but then refused to answer calls or emails afterward. DO NOT USE!!!!

Had a great experience with a company (for once) that warrants actually writing a review! This past week I had an initial inspection with Tony from Action Pest. I had first looked up this company last year on Angie's list, and chose this company as it was highly rated. I have been having issues with wasps and bees around the porch of my home, as well as ants, and wanted to get a start on them before the spring season. Tony set me up on a service plan that was reasonably priced. They will be scheduled to come every other month, however you can call anytime in between, as needed for additional treatment at no extra cost, and with stinging insects that is something that will probably be required. I think the initial inspection Tony did was actually longer than the home inspection when I purchased my house! It was great to finally meet someone in business who was knowledgeable, considerate and took the time to listen instead of rushing. I hope when the technician actually comes that I will feel the same way about this company as I do now!

These people saved my sanity! A couple years ago, I purchased a Macaw Parrot. The macaw came with his cage, toys, food and a pile of newspapers for use at the bottom of the cage when cleaning. Also included were cockroaches!! YES, I said it, cockroaches. After bringing home our new feathered friend I had put the pile of papers in a corner until I could figure out where to store them. A couple days later I lifted half the stack of papers to move to a storage area, and out came dozens of cockroaches that quickly scattered. We already had a contract with one of the 2 BIG insect companies. We had hired them when we first moving to KY because we didn't know if KY was one of those states that you need them or not. I called them immediately to inform them of what happened. They sent out our "Bug Guy" a couple days later. For months they went through the motions of addressing the problem but the problem just kept getting bigger. Finally, one day, he just stopped showing up. So I called the other big company. They too went through the motions for another year or so and as with the last company, the issue continued unabated. When I tell you I was in tears daily, I do not kid you at all. I couldn't even have houseguest for fear someone would see a darn roach! So I discontinued their service and decided to do battle on my own.Hundreds if not thousands of dollars later I still had not resolved the problem. Although I got closer than those other guys did! I did some research and finally landed on Action Pest Control. I didn't want a big name company, I wanted a company that wasn't too big to care about results. First they sent in people to evaluate our situation and come up with a battle plan. The technician (not bug guy, TECHNICIAN) was courteous, and knowledgeable. He listened to my concerns with the birds and took the needed precautions to avoid poisoning them. Four months later, (4, FOUR) the nightmare is over. We are cockroach free! What the 2 BIG companies couldn't do in over 2 years, these guys did in 4 months. I could never recommend a company higher than this company. I have lived all over the world and have dealt with every kind of service this world has to offer, and these guys will always remain at the top of my list. Do not hesitate to call them.

Action Pest has given us solid service. Though we had a few hiccups, in the end, our pest problem was solved. Our local branch manager was nothing less than professional and kind, and customer service was always pleasant to talk to. I recommend Action Pest.

Very professional staff. Representative, Tony Ostria, presented me with a list of services offered by Action Pest Control in November 2013. Tony helped me come up with a plan of action for weekly services for my community and we signed with Action in December 2013. Positive results were noticeable after the first week of service. Technician, Ryan Pitrack, is very thorough and detail with the treatments. Anytime we have encountered a problem, Action has been very quick to respond. Very pleased with the services this company has to offer and would highly recommend.

Excellent service. We've had issues with other companies in the past where they had to come back a second time for a reapplication in specific areas, but not Action. The barrier they put down around the house stops insects, period. I highly recommend them.
