I have been using this company since 2015, when I moved into a newly purchased home months prior to their start. After all of these years, I’m honestly on the fence but necessarily about their service. I live in a scorpion dwelling area. With preventive I do see less scorps now but I just got a spray yesterday and this morning there was a very healthy, live scorpion in my sink. Last week I actually had a scorp in my dishwasher, of all places. The company and its technicians are very friendly. However, I want to know why do some techs have this feather buster type wand and others don’t? Is that a technique thing or a lack of training thing? And why after almost 7 yrs. do I now see scorps in places within my house that I haven’t ever seen before? A dishwasher??? I’ve been stung in my shower, while taking one. One in my clothes washing machine a year or two back, and now one in my dishwasher and another in my sink in one week. My doors and door jams & thresholds have all been redone so why??? I’m at the point where I thinks it’s just best to move from this area. Doesn’t help that my neighbors do not also use exterminators…. so I’m basically on an island. Anyway, preventive pest control has kept the bugs & arachnids at bay. They are friendly & accommodating with crazy/busy schedules. They always call before arriving which is really helpful. They charge & arrive once a quarter but in the beginning I had them come once a month. Best part, if you do have a sighting, of whatever you are trying to remove, after they spray - they will return to spray again without charge. I do especially appreciate that part of their service.

Preventive is the company that my in-laws use for their pest control. My husband and I moved into a new home in mid-December of 2021, and within the first week, we found a white scorpion in our living room. We figured that we brought it in maybe from our storage unit, but we weren’t going to take any chances. Our in-laws told us to call Preventive right away, and we did. Melissa was on the phones on the front end, and she was such a gem! She was sweet, helpful, and so kind with all of my questions (and there were many)! She got me scheduled for a few days later. Art is our new Preventive rep out here in our area, and he is absolutely amazing! He is so wonderful with our dog and takes the time to love on her every time he comes out. He is knowledgeable and super kind! He let me know the first time he came out that I could text him if I had any concerns and spot treatments could be done for no charge. I cannot recommend Preventive enough! It runs $75 for us every other month, and the price matches up to those other companies around the valley. I’d pay if it was more anyway because they are so friendly and professional!

Preventive Pest Control in Las Vegas, NV. worked WITH me, when others didn't even respond (for TICKS)! In November 2020 I contacted five different companies via one email, requesting help for a home and yard TICK infestation (if you want to know how something as unusual as a Las Vegas tick infestation happened, I'll leave *details following the review). Three of the 5 companies didn't even reply; Preventive was the only one that took on the challenge. "Melissa" was extremely helpful in getting everything set up. Since this isn't a common occurrence in Las Vegas, it was great to have a company which worked WITH me as we figured out plans of attack. In the past 10 months I've had a few different Technicians and they've all been friendly, professional and done a really good job. One however worked so well with me, that I requested "Joshua Miller" as my regular Technician (I suggest the Company commend Josh for his exemplary and caring service). Also to be mentioned/commended is Residential Service Manager "Mick Walker", who truly went above and beyond for me. What was unknown to me at that time is that the week before he brought her here, he had her in Utah, running free on a ranch...never suspecting that she had become infested with various kinds of ticks. So for the two weeks I watched her, she slept in bed with us, hung out on the sofa with us, rubbed up under all the backyard shrubs and rolled in the grass, etc. In hindsight all the while, she was dropping off ticks EVERYWHERE! In addition to this, once my dog sitting was over, I took my own dog to her regular doggie daycare and boarding for an overnighter and bath. Come to find out upon return that the Doggy Daycare itself was secretly dealing with an infestation of Ticks, too!

We live near the mountains in Summerlin and have a horrible scorpion problem outside and inside the house (we find 2 inside each week). I switched to Preventive because I was told by our handyman that they do a great job keeping the scorpions out of neighboring homes. Unfortunately, we have not seen any decrease in the number of AZ Bark Scorpions in and around our home since switching. I was even stung on the foot, while walking to our bedroom at night, the same day that they had sprayed the interior of our home. I then scheduled a black light treatment where they were supposed to come out at night to treat our yard, but the tech didn’t show up and didn’t leave me a voicemail when he called to say he wouldn’t be coming (I had stepped out to take the trash out), so I sat here waiting for him until nearly 10pm. And that’s after another time, for routine service, where the tech didn’t show up to our neighborhood until after 5:30pm, so the guard gate wouldn’t let him in because it was “after hours” and he wasn’t on the after hours list. It then takes a week or more to get rescheduled when they miss an appointment. I don’t know that these treatments are even doing anything, but I definitely don’t like waiting around for techs that don’t show up.

My entire experience has been amazing with Preventive! Everyone that I spoke to (a total of 3 different people) was very friendly and professional. Even when the service tech could not make his scheduled time, he called and explained the situation (it was a situation out of his control), apologized and asked to reschedule and then let me know the office would be calling. I met one of the employees at another job site, Thaddeus, and asked about the services provided. He was on top of it all. I call and made an appointment to have them look at a pigeon problem I was having. The birds were hanging out on the roof ledges leaving droppings in the font and rear of the house. Thaddeus showed up on time, was pleasant, on time and very knowledgeable. After our discussion he came back for service. He was great! on top of everything. The work was completed rapidly and professionally done. i am happy to report there have been no droppings in the front of the house or in back by the pool. Thank you for the service! I have been using Preventative Pest Control for over 7 years . Their product is amazing and efficient! Throughout my 3 moves once I call them I would have NO problems with bugs or critters in my house for the rest of my residency. I am sensitive to chemicals and have skin and sinus allergies but never with the spray they use AND it’s safe around pets. On top of that their customer service is always extremely police and accommodating. I’ll never go to another company! Give them a call you won’t regret it! One super hot summer the pests came swarming in. It was me, my family and my cat against these humongous black widow spiders. I was seriously worried because what if one of them got my cat while he was adventuring around. Thankfully this company was quick to respond and they were able to send someone out to take down the cob webs of the nasty spiders. I was so happy and it’s taken me a long time to write a review. Which is sad when great service goes unnoticed. But my parents have been using them for over 3 years. They’re always flexible with our schedules. If we aren’t there they will at least take care of the outside and they are always communicative when it comes to when the next appointment is. Super fair price for an amazing service. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my home!

I usually use a pest control service once a year when the weather gets warm. Out of a whim I decided to call Preventive Pest Control. The lady I talked to was friendly and courteous. She said that the pest control employee will be at my house around 10am to 1pm. Not only did he arrived before 1pm, the guy sprayed outside and inside as well as removing spider webs. Not only did they do a good job but the employee was nice. The overall price was $139. The cost wasn't the cheapest but it was fair. I haven't had any pests so far. I will use their services again in the near future.

We called Preventive Pest control to find out what we could do about our pigeon problem. James came out and assessed the pigeon problem on our roof. He was extremely knowledgeable about the habits of pigeons. He put a trap on our roof and will be back for the next four weeks to remove the pigeons and clean up the roof where they are nesting. I found Preventive Pest Control to be extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and punctual. James is a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend Preventive Pest Control.
