David was nice and professional. Showed us areas where just some of the ants were coming in from. They also exterminated some bird mites for us about 2-3 years ago. After extermination, they replaced our attic vents with something more tough, so birds wouldn't be able to enter the attic and not repeat the problem.

After getting inundated with biting ants last summer that seemed impervious to over-the-counter solutions, I hire Kilauea Pest control to come out quarterly to spray my place and yard. So far so good. My inti conversation with the service rep was excellent. She was knowledgeable about the services offered and pricing and promptly sent me further information by email. The initial service was setup fairly quickly as they came out that next week. Have had service twice both techs were friendly and considerate that we have a land turtle who I habits our yard. They were careful to avoid him and instructed us on how to keep him out of harms way. They’re very good about calling and confirming your next service so I have t had to remember on my own. Pricing is very reasonable in my opinion. Buy presents has diminished significantly and I expect it to even less with the continued treatments. Love that they offer to come out in the event of breakthrough infestation or we see more pest.

Before moving to Hawaii, people warned us of bugs in the house. Specifically cockroaches and centipedes!! The missus said that she would move right back if there were bugs. Through word of mouth from a friend, we called Kilauea Pest Control to take care of our property. Ray came out within a week for the first treatment, and was extremely knowledgeable and professional. He let us know of some good tips to keep them out, especially avoiding wet mopping on baseboards except for right before each treatment as it would remove the product. Well it's been 7 months now and only 3 bugs have set foot in our house.... But by the time we found them, they were already dead!!! Outside the house we have only spotted 2 centipedes, and again, both dead! Thanks Ray for the great work you do and we look forward to your next visit!!

Very happy with Kilauea Pest Control so far! I called them for both pest control and termite treatment services. The ladies in the office were so friendly and knowledgeable, that I ended up signing up for both the bimonthly pest control service and requested a quote for orange oil termite services. Josh came and performed a quote for the orange oil. He was very friendly, honest, and made me feel comfortable that we wouldn't need tenting (thank goodness!). He got me all set-up and responded to my subsequent emails quickly. Dave handled the application of our orange oil treatment. He was absolutely awesome! He took his time and went over the treatment, what to expect, and eased our fears about the state of our home (it wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be). In the middle of his treatment, my in-laws came over and he took his time to repeat himself about the treatment. They were very impressed with him. All in all, he managed to treat our house in under 6 hours. Best of all, we were able to stay in the house during and after the treatment. Highly recommend Kilauea Pest Control!

Trevor at Kilauea did a great job today. I was not available, but he carefully went around the house, moving my bbq, bbq brushes, welcome mats, slippers, etc... where he applied insecticide. Huge improvement in cockroaches - especially on the lanai - since started pest control services. I can invite guests without running around stomping out roaches!

Which I really appreciated. Josh did a thorough inspection and came up with a reasonable quote. Dave did a great and thorough job applying the XT2000 Orange Oil treatment. We've been with Kilauea Pest Control soon after we bought our home 4 1/2 years ago. After the initial treatment we didn't know when someone would show up for our next service and I inquired about a carpenter bee problem I was having so I contacted the owner. He called me back right away and scheduled an appointment to come out to my home personally. He brought one of his exterminators with him. I discussed how I was unsure about knowing who and when someone would be out each time my house needed service. He introduced me to Tawny and said she would be doing my service from that day on. Tawny has been nothing but polite & extremely efficient. She is considerate to the fact that we have a dog and knows that my work schedule varies. She calls me or text messages me when my service is due and I let her know what days I will be in town and she has been solid for 4 years. She has even come out if I've spotted something within a reasonable time after treatment to do a complimentary spot treatment. We just sold our home and Tawny did the last service for our home a few weeks ago. When we buy our next home soon we are hoping she can still provide service in our area. We have been loyal clients of Kilauea Pest Control for over a decade, and could not be happier with their customer service and results. Their pricing is reasonable ($75/treatment) and we have the outside of our home sprayed once every three months. This schedule works well to keep the pests away, but if we notice creatures anywhere else such as the garage, kitchen, or anywhere else inside our home, our technician Kui is more than happy to make an extra trip to take care of them. Kui is also very personable, and always calls us the day before our scheduled spray day as a courteous reminder. Mahalo and keep up the good work, Kui!

Tawnee is the technician that comes to our house and takes care of pest control. I believe we have been using Kilauea Pest Control for 6-7 years now. Tawnee is always responsive and is always on time for our scheduled pest control every other month. Notice I say always on time twice, because we never get a phone call saying the date needs changing. She just leaves me a message when she is coming and she is here. She is respectful, informative and passionate about doing a good job. Also, we do not have many problems with pests, only two times have we had to call for extra help and that is covered in our contract, meaning it does not cost extra. Before I hired Kilauea Pest Control, I did some research and it seemed like they were the best choice for a more "natural" pest control. We have been very happy with their service.

She seems very professional very educated on her work and very sociable. I asked for her business card and then started setting up for her to do my yard. I can't say enough about KILAUEA PEST CONTROL. Their WONDERFUL tech, EDDIE, came to my apt today, Monday, Aug 2, 2021, and did a treatment for a nasty infestation of roaches in the kitchen which included spray, baits and glue-boards--to keep track of what's left behind. EDDIE gave me a VERY THOROUGH explanation of German roaches and their habits. He was VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE! Though I had a different pest co. a year ago, EDDIE at KILAUEA was far more thorough. He even moved the very heavy refrigerator to expose the roaches there. KILAUEA MGR ASHLEY had already impressed me on the phone w/her vast knowledge of roach control and was outstanding in explaining all this to my landlady, who has English as her 2nd language. KILAUEA took pix for baseline and will follow up within 2 wks. We have used KPC for the 2 years we've lived in our house because that's who the owners before us used. We had never had pest control before. When we moved in we were having a roach problem in our kitchen and our technician Tawni treated it right away. Then when we took a break and didn't renew our yearly contract on time we noticed tiny baby centipedes in one of our garden areas. I called Tawni to renew and she came out right away to treat and the centipedes were gone very quickly. Tawni is always so great! She schedules well in advance...but on a few occasions I have forgotten to unlock the back gate for her, and she has always kindly come back either later that day or on the following day. We really appreciate their service and commitment to keeping the creepy crawlies away.

I've been using Kilauea Pest Control since last year and Tawni has been so helpful! I live in an townhome and almost all roaches have disappeared considering all our walls are connected. When I moved to Oahu almost a year ago, the house we rented had a serious ant problem. The ants were literally everywhere- kitchen, bedroom, children's room, and bathrooms. At one point, the ants were on the ceiling of the master bedroom and inside the fire alarm setting off the alarm. The children were also bit by the ants while they were sleeping in their beds or sitting on the couch.
