We had the BEST experience with Orkin today. The technician was really great. We had ants in our kitchen and the tech followed the trail from under the house and around multiple trails. Then we found another trail inside the cabinet. He was even willing to go up above the kitchen but the space was too small for a person. Best technician ever!

Update: It’s now been a year and I am still happy with the professionalism and their quick response to any questions or concerns I have. I’ve been using Orkin for several months now and have seen a big difference. When I first moved into this house there were a lot of insects, roaches, spiders, pincher bugs. And now I only occasionally see a spider or after a hard rain a palmetto bug will find it’s way in. The improvement is undeniable.

We called multiple mosquito services and Orkin was least expensive and they were able to come on short notice prior to house guests arriving. Service took about 30 min for ~1Acre. Technician was friendly and efficient. Wer have domestic rabbits running free in our yard. The chemicals used do not harm the rabbits and should reduce the flea and tick population making it better for them. Now we wait and see if it works as advertised. I will update in a couple weeks or experience with the service effectiveness.

Minutes after asking for a quote I received a call. The woman was so friendly and even though it was 9pm, I was scheduled to have someone come out the following day. My Orkin man, Jeff, called to let me know he was on the way and asked if I had any specific concerns. He was so open and friendly and helpful. I hate bugs. Everyone hates bugs. And he let me know he’d do everything he could to clear us up. He took time to explain what he was doing and was so thorough. He even gave me pointers on how to minimize their entry into my home. It was truly the best experience I’ve ever had. Even with it being a 100 degrees outside, he took his time and made sure all the webs were gone. Their products are pet and human friendly too, which is great.

Since I've been using Orkin for the last two years I have not seen any 3,4,5,6,7 or 8 legged pest inside or outside my home.... Now if only we can get rid of those freakin' wasps and they would NEVER COME BACK I would be ecstatic.....Orkin does great at removing their nest for me, but at no fault of yours those "!@#$ wasps" come back. Im giving this place three stars for two reasons. First being that when we had them in the past they were an amazing service. Unfortunately we had to cancle due to financial issues 3 years ago. Two weeks ago i called them up due to pest issue in my shed. I was told i would get a call back on monday since it was late friday. I never got the call back. My husband called o wednesday and was told he would be called back as their local representatives were busy. We never received their call. So i cut 0⁹two stars due to inability to get any service.

I wasn’t at the house when the technician came by, but my wife was. The technician was very nice and pleasant, and he went straight to work. It took him approximately an hour. The spray and barrier must be great since I returned home 10 hours later I had dead bugs both inside and out. Love the service and I have a happy wife now due to dead bugs. Thanks Orkin!!!

They wouldve gotten 5 stats but i need bed bug treatment and i was already an established customer they wanted to charge me 800 and only 100 off of 900 i called around and found a service for 600 plus it was guaranteed. And monthly regular pest spray was 25 and orkin is 90 a month. They are pretty respectful and the contractor that sprayed regularly was very professional in my home. Orkin needs to become more affordable for the regular people.

***UPDATE*** Three months in, and we see a HUGE difference!! If you're thinking about it, but unsure, please call Orkin! The price is unbeatable and it works! AJ showed up on time, and he was very friendly and knowledgeable. He told me about every product he was using, purpose of it/what to expect. He said they would do another house call in a couple of weeks at no additional charge because of the problems we are having. He treated the inside and outside of the house in a timely manner. (Only here for 40 minutes) We want these pests gone! He also said that some ingredients may change as pests can become immune to certain things over time. I will continue to use this service and will update once the problem has been resolved. Thank you Orkin for the fast and friendly service!

I think the inspection itself was fine. My problem was that they could not access the basement/garage due to a locked door and didn’t bother to tell me. It took 3 phone calls and 6 months to get them to call and schedule an appt for access. But once they did that, they performed a good inspection very promptly and highlighted a big HVAC issue for me. I think the problem is a software scheduling issue that does not flag lack of access and allows incomplete jobs to just hang out there.

This morning, Jasmine, a technician from orkin came to my home. She arrived exactly when she said she would, and that was very much appreciated as my many dogs and I had to wait outside the house while the service was performed. She came very early in the morning so that we would not be out in the heat of the day and was courteous and professional the entire time she was here.

They are super fast to come help me had fire ants in my bed for some reason I called that night they were here the next morning. Also had palmetto bugs, (roaches I call them) they sprayed inside my house and did a perimeter shield around the outside of my house. Told me I might see activity then they would be dead. The next day I got home I noticed activity alright lol it looked like a war zone around my house bugs on their backs dead everywhere!! I was so happy and grateful. Thank you orkin! Prices are very good, but I would have paid lots more to get rid of the bugs I hate bugs!!!

Their service has been great so far. I had been having issues with centipedes in my home and ever since they sprayed, I have seen a marked improvement and very rarely if ever see any now if at all.

So far have only had my first inspection and treatment for roaches. I’m from Ireland and have only been living in the US for about 2 weeks and this is my first ever experience with pests (I’m terrified of insects and this has really made the whole move really stressful for me), however Mike made time to come out to our house on very short notice and he reassured me that they would take care of everything. So far we are still seeing roaches (dead and alive) but the call center representatives are always more than happy to answer my LONG list of questions and try to put my mind at ease, they have even scheduled a follow up visit and treatment 2.5 weeks from the original treatment day! Orkin, unlike other pest services that I initially tried to reach out to, are always there to talk to day and night and make sure to take care of you ASAP.

Called to set up appt. Was told that she would email papers over for consent to let service tech in the home while we were not there. 5 hours later, I still did not have the paperwork. Contacted them back explaining that I never received email and I jeeded them since our appt was first thing the next morning. The 2nd lady I spoke to said no papers were needed, they just needed my verbal consent right now and the tech would leave me the paperwork and I would just have to mail it back in. I agreed and told her that was not a problem. The next day, we left for my client's Dr. Appt at 9:15am. (Service tech was scheduled for 8-10am) I was told by the lady on the phone we would have to be out of the house for at least 4 hours after they sprayed. My client is 87 years old and does not walk very well. I kept him out of the house until 1pm, only to find that when we got back, no service tech had come by. I was furious. I contacted the office, they could not tell me why the tech never showed up, but they apologized, offered $50 off of the bill, and scheduled for a different tech to come out that evening. Not a very good first experience with Orkin, but at least they tried to make amends and do right by the customer.

This is the first time we used Orkin... my only concern is why didn't we use them sooner! We were using a locally owned pest control company, and they were okay. However, we developed a rat problem under the house and they wanted over a $1000 (in addition to their normal pest control and termite fee). So we tried calling another local company, twice, left a voicemail message (normal business hours) and 3 days later still no return call. So, we decided to try Orkin! They came out the next day, price was half of what our current pest control company wanted, and the service was GREAT! The communication by Robert, the Orkin exterminator was superb, letting us know his ETA, after he arrived, what he saw, what he was doing about it, and his recommendations. He is also getting an inspector, or specialist, or whatever to come out to even look around and make necessary recommendations on repairs and fixing stuff, debris clean up, etc. Couldn't be happier. Once our termite contract is up with the other guys, i think we are going to switch to Orkin for all of our pest control needs. Don't get me wrong, the other guys we were using were okay, but for the money we were paying, they should have been great and stand a cut above the rest. So far, Orkin has been that with their timely service, communication, and treatment and for a fraction of the price!
