I've been using Dodson for several years since they entered this market. I appreciate that they honored the agreements that were in place from the previous company, and our service person never changed. David, who provides quarterly pest maintenance service is always punctual, courteous, professional, and flexible to accommodate our schedule. I like the fact that he is the consistent person who provides service at our address. Jeff has been our lead on termite treatment and prevention and we have always had positive experiences and professional service annually to monitor and update our bond as needed. In addition to pest control, Dodson put down a moisture barrier for us. The project was done efficiently at a reasonable price with good rationale for why it would be appropriate for our property. When I call the office, the administrative team member (Sherry) is always professional and efficient answering questions and scheduling whatever is needed. Dodson, West Columbia, has been a reliable provider of professional and courteous service and I appreciate the relationship we have had over many years.

Wow what a positive experience. My name is James Mauro and like many of you service calls are difficult at best, but not with Dodson and Jeff Branham. Right away I felt relaxed with Jeff. He explained why he was here (annual inspection)/ for 10 year treatment ) and went over a brief history of past service. I found this important because we have only been in this home for 18 months and knowing there was continuity of service and past issues was important. Jeff was very thorough with his description of the services Dodson provided and what was covered; this was also important because I Have a detached 40 x 60 workshop and knowing it was covered was a huge relief. Jeff explained exactly what he was and wasn’t going to be doing and I opened the crawl space for him to start his work. About 25 minutes later he was back to tell us the results from the inspection good and bad. The good was the main house was in great shape just a couple of minor issues. He also brought up a couple of unusual issues not pest control related, but he cared enough about us ac customers that he brought them to our attention. Jeff went above and beyond. But as with all things some rain must fall the workshop showed some sign of termite activity. He showed us pictures of what he found and took me to the workshop to personally show me. He immediately put my mind at easy and explained exactly how Dodson would treat the issue. Jeff is extremely good at what he does. He is knowledgeable above all, friendly polite, and sincere. He provided a number of solutions and scheduled the treatment for my property, he even pretreated the area where there was activity. Who does that? I expected he would schedule the next service and be on his way, not Jeff he treated my property as if it were his own. What a blessing the previous owners used Dodson and strongly recommended we continue to use their services, I’m glad we did and even happier the good Lord sent Jeff to be our inspector. Now my anxiety is gone and I have a new friend.

Brian came out to see us today for a same day visit! And did the most thorough treatment. He started outside and went all around the house and even did some spray in the ditch. Then he came in and even took the bottom drawer out of the stove and sprayed there as well. We asked about outdoor mole treatment and outside he went, Said he had a thing for that also. I was very frustrated over the price of termite bonds and searched around for a company that had great reviews and hoping to find the best price. I've use Dodson for years now for regular pest control treatments every 3 months. They keeps the roaches away and have come out to take care of wasp nests and less than friendly spiders. Danny is the technician that usually comes out. He is always pleasant and efficient. I couldn't be happier! Update 8/24/2020 - Remy did the annual termite inspection and recommended replacing the moisture barrier in the crawl space. It had deteriorated significantly. He arranged for someone to contact us with options to fix it. Update 9/3/2020 - Dylan came over to install a new moisture barrier in the crawl space under the house and did a fantastic job. He was friendly and professional. Two more techs came out to assist and they knocked it out super quick! The price was extremely reasonable. I might actually do some projects I've been thinking about now it's all clean and tidy! Update 4/29/2021 - Jeff came by to do the annual termite inspection and gave us some tips to redirect water runoff when it rains heavily. Thank you!

She was very courteous and professional and promptly transferred the call to Jeff Branham to schedule the appointment. The appointment was scheduled for January 5th. Edit 2: Dylan contacted us and was really professional about putting us back on the respray list. We've seen a large decrease in bugs and found out why we saw an increase in the first place. Would definitely recommend. Really appreciated them coming for the last 2-3 weeks to get the bugs under control. --Edit: Increase in bugs since they have sprayed. Might be a weather issue but there were only one or two bugs in a 2-3 month span but I just found 8 in 1.5 weeks. The staff was still great but the spraying did not work for us this time.-- He was great! So professional and helpful. It was really quick and efficient.

Dodson has been servicing my home for over 10 years. Remy has been my tech for a few years. He has been very professional and always on time. He always calls to let me know exactly when he is going to be there. There has been one or two other techs but they are all the same way. If for some reason you are not going to be home they will reschedule with you or they will service your outside and then come back to do the inside if you want them to at no extra cost. Remy is very knowledgeable in his profession and has given me so much advice. This company has been very good to me. I highly recommend them.

I was so pleased with their service. So long story, I was doing some home renovation and found Termites In December!!! Can you believe it? I called some other local companies and when those companies people came to my house I really was not impressed. However when I called Dodson I got an appointment set up fairly quickly and the inspector who came to my house was just awesome. His name was Jamie and hes now my go to person. He was knowledgeable and so friendly. I honestly was freaking out and was so upset at how the other companies handled the situation. Jamie was very sympathetic and came up with a great solution that included a termite warranty. You can tell he knows his stuff. Even showed me pictures of a moisture problem in the crawl space that a previous inspector didn't even tell me about!!! I had Dodson take care of everything and honestly do not normally write reviews but after my inspection and having the work done I was blown away. Great service! Very friendly tech! Edit: I have seen more roaches in my apartment since the "pest control" tech came than I saw in the previous year I've lived here combined. I have no idea what they did when they came, but it wasn't get rid of any bugs. I was really disappointed. Now I have to go out and get a different company to spray or do it myself. Definitely recommend it if you want a friendly conversation but not if you want to get rid of pests. Edit (Pt 2): Dylan was really fast about contacting me about my review and explaining why I was seeing more bugs. It turns out a lot of the problem I was experiencing was in no way Dodson's fault but a byproduct of the extermination they were performing. Additionally, he worked with me personally to come up with a plan to get rid of the bugs and we have been executing that plan over the last few weeks and I have seen drastic improvement from when I made the first edit to my review. Dylan, and Dodson in general, were very professional, understanding, and responsive to my concerns and I appreciate the efforts made to address the problems I was seeing.

He made a recommendation to us to spray the Crawlspace to treat the mold that has accumulated and then have a barrier installed.
