This was the 1st of my quarterly house and yard treatments. I had been using another company for many years but the quality of service with Aptive is far above the others. Luke was on time, very professional and courteous. He walked the house inside and out and explained everything. He asked if I had any other pest or insect concerns that he could take care of during his visit. He truly went above and beyond with his service. I am happy I made the switch to Aptive.

We have been using Aptive for several years and have been very satisfied with their service. They are always professional and thorough. They don’t just spray; they clean off any webs they find when they inspect around the outside of house. We have had very few spiders since using Aptive and I don’t think we have had any ants.

They sprayed the yard and specifically any problem areas to eliminate ants, mosquitoes, spiders, etc. They also treated our shudders for bees/wasps and set traps for a mouse I spotted in our garage. They plan to return next week to remove any catches. We have had very little issues with bugs since they started their quarterly spray but if we did, they come back for no extra charge as many times as needed. Great communication through text notices on upcoming appointments and when I had to call to reschedule, they were very friendly and professional.

We’ve had Aptive for almost a year for outside treatments. Every technician is outstanding. Very consistent they email you a week before they are coming. In case you wanna be home but you don’t have to be home. Then text you a day or two before they arrive then text when they are 15 minutes out. They greet you explain the treatment answer any questions and then apply the treatment. The treatments have been very successful. We’ve always had mice. This is the first year in over 20 years we have not had mice. Also no more bugs inside. Love what Aptive does!!

My experience with Aptive was phenomenal. They got rid of my ant infestation after I had tried everything! Their service was excellent and the communication was on point. They always contacted me ahead of time to ask if there was anything specific we needed assistance with and thoroughly documented the services they provided. They will even come back free of charge for an additional application if you still are having a problem. Highly recommend!

They have found and removed hornets nests we never saw. The treatments they use are better than any OTC treatments we have tried in the past. Their regular treatments are very effective.

The tech was very nice. Though when he treated the lower level windows he sprayed with such force with his nozzle that my windows were all soaked and dripping down. In my couple of years with Aptive I’ve never seen the liquid application put on with such force or heavy. Now all my windows need a good washing, ugh!

When I first moved in we had a problem with bugs in the house and general pests bothering us while we tried to enjoy the nice weather outside. Ever since we got Aptive? Aptive comes quarterly due to the amount of ants in our area.... they are always thorough with spraying and inspecting. This fall we have an issue with voles, they placed a rodent bait trap to help us get rid of the issue. Very pleased with Aptive and less costly than when we used Orkin.

Kyle came out to my home today. He not only sprayed all exposed pipe entries to my home but took pictures to prove his work. Kyle did a great job on a day we are expecting a snow storm. And it made perfect sense of doing the inspection and service on this day because when snow falls and colder temperatures begin, thats when pests find warm places to force themselves into. Kyle and Aptive Environmental did an amazing job to protect my home and family. I would have given a 5 last year as this is the second year of service with them. Last summer we started and it was wonderful no bugs or spiders even through the winter. But then this year, we have had the regular quarterly service visits and I even called because we had noticed ants and spiders all of a sudden and they did a courtesy visit. Even after this courtesy visit I've still had spiders and noticed a few ants the other day. They just did a regular visit and I am hoping we go back to how it was last year.

The technician that came today named Mark was very professional and explained everything that he was gonna do. Answered all my questions and did not rush the visit. I live in Illinois so the mosquitoes can be relentless during the warmer months and they do a pretty good job with abatement. And after treatment of your still having issues with anything they will come back for no extra charge to take care of the issue! Definitely recommend and you will be happy with service.

We had been very happy with the service and with the results. We had ongoing problems with different varieties of ants and with mice in our home. Ever since the first application, we have seen neither inside. We also liked that the chemicals used have low toxicity. This year, we again had a problem with ants. We informed the technician. Following the initial visit, we continued to have ants. We had 2 reapplications which failed to resolve the problem. Mouse control had been nothing more that using traps and disposal. We cancelled our service and are managing the situation on our own.

Polite people who are on time for regular service. Service seems to work - no bugs in the home despite living in a wooded area. I would give them a 5 star rating except for the fact that you can never get in touch with them after hours even though they advertise 24/7 emergency service. Discovered a new yellow jacket nest in the ground in my back yard the hard way. After getting stung many times I tried to get in touch with them. The recorded message says they will answer the call in the order it was received but no one ever answered. In the 3 or 4 years I have had the service this has happened twice. In summary - they are good at performing scheduled preventative service but poor if you have a pest control emergency.

Within a couple weeks you see a drastic change in the amount of, for myself, spiders and ants inside and outside my home. The workers are always nice and professional. My only conplaint is every now and then you get someone who moves seemingly a little too quick to have done a thorough job but then you get days like today where the person truly takes their time to clean and spray everything he is supposed to. Today Leif came to do a reservice and you would think with a reservice he would just do a quick walk around but no, he took his time and I truly appreciate that level of service. For those who don't know with Aptive, they come out once every 3 months to service your home but if you should happen to have some pests who refuse to go away or happen to come back before the following service you can schedule a free reservice which is something I have put to use a few times. Part of what I like with using Aptive.

I tried Aptive because our past exterminator had to come out multiple times to deal with our ant problem. On the first visit, Steve was great, we went all over the yard to show where I had concerns. He then proceeded with the service by wiping awnings, spraying the foundation and yard and he even located some wasp nest near my shed that I didn’t even know where there. In his second scheduled visit, it was pouring, so we postponed. The next time a tech came, he never even rang the bell to say he was here. I happened to see him in the yard while on a conference call, and he was gone before I could even go out to talk to him. I had to call a week later due to some ants in our house. I had to leave a message because the wait time was so long. When they returned my call the next day, I requested for Steve to come and I was told he wasn’t in my area until 9 days later. I said I’d wait for him, and took the appointment. 9 days later, a tech comes out-not Steve-and does a quick 10 minute visit again. This was frustrating, but the ants disappeared, so I didn’t complain. Yesterday, we had our third service, and the tech that came sprayed the foundation and left. I still have lots of cobwebs on my awnings and windows that I can’t reach, and my husband had to go out and wipe them. After the initial visit, I am not impressed with their other techs or service. I highly doubt I will be renewing my contract when the year is up, despite the disappearance on the ants. For the $130 each visit, I expect not to have to do any of their job myself, and I believe I could find a company that could provide equal, if not better service for my money.

Aptive is always responsive whenever we have any problem with ants, wasps or bees! The ants usually become an issue right after heavy rains flood their outdoor nests and then they head indoors. Aptive treats both the outside source as well as the inside pathways and the problem goes away fast. Our gazebo usually needs to be treated regularly during the summer for wasps and carpenter bees. Aptive treats the gazebo inside and out and we are Typically good for up to 8-12 weeks. We are very happy with the thoroughness and the fast friendly response. Today we had Tim and a trainee, Jeff. They were both courteous and thorough. I have found that Aptive employees are always friendly and knowledgeable. We will be using Aptive this year and in the future!

I have been getting ants every spring that would be gone by summer for the last 6 years. Two years ago during an ant infestation they knocked on my door. They didn't cure it immediately but it went away in the manner it always had. Last year it was somewhat diminished but I still needed traps in the house & I was concerned because I started seeing carpenter ants. They came to treat inside which they had not done before and I stopped seeing the carpenter ants. The little ones were soon gone with traps inside. This year I have no ants! I admit that I had to be patient but I'm very happy about the results!

I was very skeptical about this service, cause I never heard of them, plus they just knocked on my door. Once I got a confirmation email I was put at ease for little. But, the person who did the work came on time and did a couple of areas not talked about on the initial invoice. The tech did the areas no problem. The communication between the operators and the technicians could be better. On several occasions I have called to address a specific problem and on every occasion the technician has no idea what I’m talking about. Some technicians are sloppier than other too and that’s a problem. One technician left a black like tar all over the house from his gloves/spray can. Another technician talked endlessly about whatever and left pools of the bug spray all over my kitchen floors. They say it evaporates but I needed a towel on this occasion.

We have never had any bug control treatment done at our site for fear of chemicals, but over this time a variety of pests had multiplied around the house. Still we were not looking for help in that area, till a young man from Aptive came knocking on our door. After much debating, going back and forth, we decided to enlist their help. The following day we had one of their men come and begin the treatment. From what we noticed the bug population has already come down. The service man did a thorough job around the house, inside and outside. It appears that this has been a good decision so far. To boot they did the first round for free. We didn't expect such a detailed attention. We have been promised four more treatment over the next 12 months and expect it to competely take care of the bug problem. This morning (8:15) when the technician came I responded to his arrival text and he didn’t reply. I had to get my coat and boots on and go outside. He said he did get my text. He left footprints on my floors as it was snowing this morning. I truly haven’t seen much benefit to this service and I’m planning to cancel asap.
