Punctual, friendly & professional service. The technicians are courteous, respectful, and knowledgeable. I have never gotten a complaint regarding their service or techs. I regularly contact Gavin to schedule a large number of service calls. Many of the requests I send him are with little notice & small windows of availability on our end. He manages to work with techs to get promptly get them scheduled. Akita provides us with helpful and informative service reports. Gavin goes out of his way to follow up with me, collaborate on the next steps needed, and even send me reminders. This makes that part of my job a breeze. Thank You to Gavin & Akita Staff

So far we had 2 visits with Akita. There have been no Ants!!!! Even with all the rain. Along with spraying, they put sticky traps around the interior of our home. It’s amazing what crawls around your home. We have definitely seen a major decrease in creepy crawlers! The two technicians we have encountered have been so pleasant and helpful. They actually like you to follow them around so you can point out problem areas. Highly recommend!

I moved into a new home this summer and reached out to Akita to set up general pest control treatments and to help with some cicada killer bee infestations in the backyard. The treatment for the bees took effect quickly and I had no issues for the rest of the season! The quarterly pest treatments have helped so much as well! Matt did a fantastic job at putting down bait in strategic areas and gave advice on a best path forward to eliminate these pests and scheduling subsequent visits. Well, I'm very please w your service, and professional people. We use to call terminix fro the same issue, they gave us the service, the following week I called them to let them know that by that time I still have fleas this was the service person answer to my call to scheduled another service; Oh I'm sorry but I'm going on vac. And I can't do it myself, you need to call(terminix) to schedule it, and I hope that somebody can come out and do your service. Terminix has poor costumer service,also poor treatment service. Sorry for terminix but I'll be calling Akita from now on. I also wants to let you guys know that Miguel(service guy) he did and escellent job, and no only a professional service, he took his time to explain to me about fleas, and what I need to do after treatment, he even explained to me the reason why vacuum after the service, Great Job Miguel. Had my second service today with Akita. Another great experience! I Was having trouble with mice over the winter, which they took care of in one treatment. Second time out, they took care of ants. Customer service compared to other big name companies is far superior. JULIO was actually early for the scheduled time. Communication was superb all along the way! Julio was friendly and informative, clearly knows what he is doing! Signed up for the quarterly service as well as mosquito services, which is very fairly priced.

We have been using Akita for Seasonal preventative service. Technicians are always polite. We wish we could see the same one each time but perhaps there is a lot of Tech turnover? They are all nice. Our latest visit was by Jessie and she was very upbeat, energetic and perky. She made me smile with her great energy! The service was thorough, polite and professional. The company is almost always accommodating. We did not have the best experience once when we were told we'd be charged for a visit we were told when scheduled was to be free. The manager would not budge and my husband got angry and refused to have the work done. I was unhappy with the manager's stodginess. Other than having to keep occasional billing issues straight, they have always given stellar service. I hope they continue to be great so we may continue the service indefinitely because their service works. They helped rid us of bugs we had when we first moved in and kept them away. grateful!

After trying many commercial services, I regret not finding Akita sooner! We initially had our house treated for wasps and when they didn’t go away, Akita came back out without a question to make sure we were satisfied. This experience was so good we decided to do quarterly insect treatments with them. All communication regarding this process and service visits has been beyond great and very professional. We have not had our actual treatment yet, so I can't comment on the effectiveness of the treatment, but the customer service was fabulous. We found termites in the basement of the house we just bought. Akita sent out Mike within a couple of hours. We had a quote for treating them within minutes and are scheduled for treatment a week from now. Very responsive and professional.

He came back to complete our quarterly fumigation and I LOVED how he called me to inform that he was enroute to our home - while my husband and I are at work. He communicated via text that he locked up our garage and completed his work. I have no words but to say how AWESOME Brock works and I sincerely hope Akita values your work ethic. I realized I needed professional help with the bedbugs in my home. I tried DYI fixes, but that didn't eradicate them. I called Akita and they were so helpful from the outset. They explained the basic process and offered an inspection and estimate that wouldn't cost me anything if I ended up using their services. Chad came to my house and confirmed that I had a mild infestation. He then explained the process so even a layman like myself could understand it. I felt very confident that Akita knew what they were doing and was happy to use their services. And the price was extremely reasonable. Chad was very helpful, carefully explained what I needed to do prior to the treatment, and explained everything he would do to help me. He even went above and beyond helping me move and relocate some furniture, since I'm partially disabled. He was very reassuring, capable, and thorough. Spotted rodents in my house late November. I had caught a couple and thought it was done. 2 months later they are back. Never had such an issue before and I didn’t want to wait to allow any more of a problem I may have already allowed by not calling a pest control company the very first time. Pasquale came out and was very informative and professional. Spotted where he thought they were getting entering in from. This is a premature review of course and I’ll update it as time progresses. Not happy about seeing roaches in my apartment, I did some research and found Akita. Made an appointment, and they sent Joey. I showed him where I was seeing activity, and he gave his opinion on where he believes they are coming from. Super friendly, and showed me what baits he used around the apartment, and how they are applied. We had a good chuckle over not finding much when he pulled the fridge and stove off the wall (we both were expecting to see movement of some kind 😅), but having a technician look around and confirm what I already thought (the the infestation was light and possibly easy to control, as well as where the roaches were possibly coming from) absolutely made me feel better about the entire thing. Would definitely recommend Akita to others!

I decided to hire a pest control company to do preventative maintenance on my apartment. My apartment is right by the main entrance door and bugs always like to find their way in. My husband called Akita to have a technician come out and give us a quote for service to get rid of what we thought were termites. Lex came the next day, right on schedule. He spent time looking at the affected wood around our front door and other areas of our home. He determined we were dealing with some old, rotting wood from poor rain drainage and not a pest issue at all. The visit was free of charge and Lex even gave me the name of someone who could help us out! We will certainly call Akita first when pest issues arise in the future and pass along their number to friends and family! Thank you!

I called Akita two years ago for a hornet infestation inside my siding and outer wall. The cost they quoted me was less than half the cost of others I called so I tried them. I was very pleased with the level of professionalism and effectiveness and Bobby is great to work with. I also love their car with the giant hornet on top! Last year, Akita came out to treat for carpenter bees. Although the guarantee was for 30 days, the bees stayed away for the entire season. I have since recommended Akita to one neighbor for ants. Three and a 3/4 stars if I could do that. Not great, not awful. Tim was 15 minutes late and I can understand, he came from Lancaster and I am in York. Tim was a nice guy and I am possibly in a career change, interested in possibly doing pest-control of some type. He helped give me information about the job and gave me the name of the person to contact. He was very knowledgeable about different species of pests. As far as the control of the pests, I didn't think the work done was anything i couldn't do myself at the end of the day. He sprayed the outside lining of my home for ants. I didn't want the inside sprayed because I have a one-year-old baby-that is my issue to hold myself at fault on, whether they are more or less bothersome in the future. I also have a carpenter bee problem and he didn't think I had a big one and sprayed the one hole i had from them. He said there won't be many more to expect in the future. I have had numerous ones come to the same hole since he came. The cost was decent in comparison to others but I just don't feel a whole lot was done. I would try Akita if you have an extensive problem and find out what they are about but if you don't have one, do it yourself. I learned this from their visit and I believe I am partially at fault.

I was referred to them by a property management company. when I called them up to schedule an appointment I didnt want to take any chances with the house I was going to be moving into so I was ready to schedule everything, but unlike other company who only want your business for your money they told me that they would rather schedule me for a regular service and then upgrade if necessary to save me money. I was able to get my appointment with in 2 days of when I called them which was another plus considering with my job I'm not always available. On the day of my appointment the service manager Dave was the one to come out and service my house. After he went though the whole house and sprayed he went the extra mile to put rodent poison in the crawl space and removed the cobwebs from the basement. The mice have not completely capitulated so Amber came today after I called this morning. She also was professional, courteous and pleasant. I have to throw a huge shout out to Tim. I've had trouble with wasps since I bought my house, and it never failed that every time someone was out, the wasps would play hide 'n seek. Yesterday, we were determined to find out what was going on and by sheer determination, we located a couple of issues that can help resolve the problem. He even made it a point to inform me that since he treated the areas, the wasps are pretty angry, and I should make sure to keep my dog away from the back yard. My husband and I had previously used a local business for quarterly maintenance (ant spray and preventative mouse traps) for 6 years. They have recently since been acquired by Orkin. I noticed a few mouse droppings for the first time and called them immediately. They gave me an estimate 4500.00. Clearly, it was a sales opportunity and provided no long term solutions to a manageable problem. I had a few mouse droppings not NYC subway rats living in my walls.... I decided to call Akita for a second opinion. They sent Dave out the next day. He was knowledgable and debunked all of the stories/ myths I had heard from the other company. Needless to say (under 170.00 later) there have been no other issues and it's been 3 weeks. I asked a lot of questions and Dave took the time to educate me on mice, their habits and what will happen once they eat the bait.. He was personable and professional. We switched our quarterly maintenance to Akita and I would 100% recommend them!
