LOVE! That is truly the only word to describe HiLo! From the moment you walk into until you leave, you feel part of the family. The instructors are beyond fantastic. I am a person who typically doesn’t enjoy working out or going to a gym. HiLo is an entirely different experience, I can’t wait to go everyday and look forward to class. The workouts are tough, but if you put in the work you will see and feel the reward! Of all the options available for working out - stop looking and join HiLo!

So I waited a while to write this review - I've been going to HiLo house for more than a month and wanted to take the time to add another mega shout-out to this fantastic place! There's a good reason why HiLo house gets an overall 5-star review from so many people. So in this review, I'll describe why I love HiLo house so much and why this unique workout-set up has been working for me! I moved to Wilmington mid-last year for a new job and was overall busy for the most part for the rest of the year. I maintained a gym membership, but getting motivated to drag myself to the gym at the end of a tiring workday was practically impossible. Even if I could get to the gym, it was difficult to think about precisely what I needed to do. The lack of a regular workout regimen was not particularly healthy, and I was looking for an instructor-led workout in a group setting (I'm an extrovert. I love people around me. LOL). A coworker (I think he is sort of a friend now) eventually suggested HiLo house to me. It looked pretty enticing, and I booked myself the 3 classes for beginners and dived right in to check out what the hype was all about. And at the end of my first class, I was like, oh my! The first class set the stage for what I was to expect for the next several ones to come. HiLo house has incredible energy– it's a beautiful studio in a new building that features classes in a versaclimber or a megaformer. The workout types are either full-body cardio or resistance/strength training. I would note that the classes look deceptively simple, and they are really low impact but perfectly engage muscles of your body you never knew existed. After the first 3-5 classes of getting used to, I am enjoying HiLo classes to the core. The instructors change on a rolling basis and every class is unique in so many different ways! What's overall exceptional about HiLo house is the combination of group energy (something is terrific about this), music playing in the background, lights dancing away to create this magical atmosphere and the whole workout scene orchestrated by an excited instructor – a combined thrill vibe that is bound to make you feel excited about life! I prefer evenings right after work to destress and honestly feel happy about doing something for my overall physical and mental well-being. And a few weeks in, I feel I can manage my energy better during the day, perform better at work, and sleep well. I look forward to my evening workouts – my only regret is that I didn't join sooner.

*Aysha Ali Hilo completely changed my outlook on working out. I look forward to my mega classes. Everyone makes sure I’m not hurting my body & I have good form to get the most out of my workout. Also, 10/10 playlist. It blows my mind every single time how my favorite underground artist always make it on the playlist.

I have been going to HiLo now for a couple months and I can honestly say it is such a great place. Not only have I seen improvements on my body but also in my endurance and happiness. The House is truly a great, welcoming community and I am so glad to be part of it. I love all the workers and it is really sweet how personal they make it. It’s the only workout I will willingly wake up at 6AM for. Highly recommend. Also great student discounts!!

I have been going to HiLo House for the past month and am completely obsessed. From the insane workouts, the amazing ambiance of the studio & the contagious positive energy from every instructor, my only regret is not joining sooner!! Truly never thought i would ever be excited to wake up at 7am for a workout class but the vibes at HiLo are unmatched and make every early morning worth it. Not to mention I have seen insane results in such a short amount of time. Highly highly recommend giving it a try💚

My daughter Emmie and I cannot get enough of HiLo House! We have loved every minute of it. Every instructor is knowledgeable, motivating and beyond warm and inviting! We are always greeted by our names and with sincere smiles from every staff member. I look forward to my classes almost daily and have even started doubling up 2-3 days per week in hopes of achieving 100 classes taken by June 15th! I completed #20 today. I have not enjoyed working out this much in years (if ever) and I cannot recommend this wonderful facility enough!

Absolutely LOVE this studio. I’ve done everything when it comes to exercise: random classes at the gym, weightlifting, orange theory, barre, you name it. My body has responded better to Hi/Lo than any other style of exercise. I’m also a yoga instructor and have seen huge improvements in my own physical practice after adding training on the megareformer. So thrilled I found this studio and such amazing instructors!

I have wanted to try both the versa climber and lagree fitness for a long time. When I saw that my girlfriend was going to this gym, I had to try it out. 100% love it and am totally out of my comfort zone. In just 2 months I am much stronger, more flexible and the definition on my muscles is really starting to pop! All of the instructors are great and they give you personal attention so you never feel alone. If you are curious about HiLo run don't walk......you won't regret trying it!!

HiLo is an amazing studio with challenging classes and awesome instructors. They are all great at supporting and encouraging you to push yourself and get stronger no matter what level you’re at. I’ve never really enjoyed working out before but I find myself going back here over and over again!

The VersaClimber class provides the quick 30 minutes of cardio I want to kick start my day while the Megaformer class helps to tone and strengthen my entire body. I wish I could give HiLo more than 5 stars!! This is truly a one of a kind place. Not only are the workouts awesome but the entire team is so positive and supportive! They truly care about you and go above and beyond to make sure you are pushing yourself and getting the most out of each workout. I am a true believer in the saying that little things go a long way and HiLo definitely does this well. They sent me a text on my birthday which was a little thing that meant a lot to me. And I love that they emphasize community! Not only are we a group of people who workout together but they aim to provide opportunities for us to get to know each other outside of working out. I love that that there are cardio classes on the VersaClimber as well as strength classes on the Megaformer and combo classes that are half on each machine. I can’t recommend HiLo House enough!! I have been going for 4 months now and it has truly been transformational. If you are thinking about trying it, just do it! You won’t regret it!

HiLo House is THE WORKOUT you didn't know you needed. It is the best combination of high intensity, sweat driven workouts on the VersaClimber and the low intensity but high-return workout on the Megaformer. What makes HiLo house so special and really unique is the entire staff - they CARE and want to help you have the best workout and experience. They are client first - and, make you feel like you are part of the family. Maura, the owner and one of the instructors, has really done a beautiful job cultivating an environment where everyone is welcome, everyone has a great workout and everyone is treated like a V.I.P. I don't even live in DE, I live in Texas... but every time I visit my family in the Philly area I MAKE THE DRIVE to HiLo - its honestly the best part of my East Coast visits (besides seeing mom and dad!). I am also a certified Versaclimber and Lagree instructor - so if anything here's the most important piece you need to consider: I truly believe that HiLo is THE BEST versa + Lagree studio on the East Coast and honestly top 3 in the nation. I've been the many. GO HERE NOW!

I started at HiLo house for a lot of reasons, but the top was to get stronger. After a year plus working from my home office I lost my motivation. I needed to find my strength personally and physically HiLo answered. It’s hard, don’t get me wrong you put every bit of energy you have into every workout, but the staff is amazing. As a beginner you always feel uncertain and a bit challenged even knowing your right from your left not to leave out the names for the positions you are supposed to be doing. That is where this excellent staff shows their real talent. Everyone there is positive and supportive which is why I haven’t stopped. If you are feeling like me give HiLo a try, age and ability don’t matter it is your success they want to see.

This is hands down my favorite workout I’ve ever tried. I’ve never been into cardio and always struggled to weave it into my workout routines. When I started HiLo I was afraid the versa climber would be too much for me considering I’ve never really incorporated cardio into my workouts. I was so wrong, I absolutely love the Versaclimber and I’m already so much more confident walking into class. The mega former is just as amazing, I truly feel myself getting stronger with each class and the mental changes are just as visible at the physical ones. The instructors are amazing and really push you to be your best. I absolutely love HiLo and truly look forward to my workouts!

Google needs a 6 star for this place. Amazing and supportive instructors, impactful classes and enough variety for any level. I was struggling getting what I needed from a traditional gym and made the leap, despite having some limitations. Those are gone after about 20 classes and great support. If I can do it, anyone can. The energy makes it hard not to!

HiLo House is an amazing place to get fit, feel comfortable, be with community! I have never done any type of fitness as challenging! The Versaclimber is an amazing way to get no impact, muscle building cardio. I was intimidated at first but the teachers are so encouraging and motivating! The mega former is also so challenging. It is a total body workout and it works every muscle group. So hard but so much fun!
