Ha everything you would need for a great workout! Friendly people. Has a funny smell, not the cleanest place. Beware of paying the year in full. They'll upsale it hard, but then show zero sympathy if you have to move out of state. No refunds whatsoever.

After coming here few times just to see if I like it I finally got the membership and that was best decision ever!!! I'm a swimmer, and you can not get a good deal like this anywhere in the city! Plus the hot tubs, saunas and tanning beds are such a great benefit! The gym is very well equipped, variety of classes in the morning AND afternoon (yes - after 5pm!!!), and fantastic staff !!!! So friendly and knowledgeable!!! Can't believe i haven't heard about this place before!

I just joined today after getting a great deal for my kid being in the swim classes offered through King Marlin Swim Club. Both pools have had extensive work done and are extremely clean. They have a great variety of free weights and machines and cardio equipment. I can't get over having whirlpools and saunas in the locker rooms! All the staff have been helpful. I'm very pleased with my choice.

The Weight Room is not your typical, franchised gym...which is exactly why I love it! In fact, I'm a second generation member! Regardless of fitness level, you'll feel comfortable at this gym because everyone is simply striving for the same thing. In the 1.5+ years that I have been a member, I've never felt uncomfortable or out of place and, as a bonus, management goes out of their way to be helpful. They offer excellent rates (especially if you sign up as a couple), tanning, and childcare. By far, my favorite gym! Highly recommended.

This is one of those rare great weightlifting gyms. If you lift weights and Planet Fitness doesn't have what you want...go here. It's a dream gym for serious weight lifters. Is the equipment brand new...no, does it all match...no, is some of it beat up...yep, aesthetics...eh. If that bothers you, then my opinion is your priorities are not around fitness. I have been lifting for almost 20 years, I am not a power lifter or a bodybuilder, I just enjoy it. This gym has beyond everything a lifter could need. I stopped in while passing through OKC and am glad I did. For those of you who are local here, enjoy it, you can't find many like this.

I was a member about 10-12 years ago. I used the Weight Room to get and stay in shape for 6 years. I left for reasons that had nothing to do with the Weight Room itself (personal reasons). I came back several weeks ago, and it was like going back to an old friends house. I enjoy this gym immensely - always did, and always will. It seems to me those who have negative things to say about it are disgruntled for one reason or another, but I have never experienced the issues they are bringing up. What I like about this gym is the tremendous amount of free weights, combined with the newer equipment they are bringing in. I rarely have to wait for a particular machine or station, and the aerobics equipment is plentiful. I am a grateful member of The Weight Room.

No frills gym. If your serrious about pushing yourself to get stronger in an environment with like minded people, then this is the gym for you! Great staff and members. Come here and you'll never want to be a member at another gym!

I started going to the weight room 24 after a friend asked me if I would join them for a gym session. At the time, I was a member of gold's gym. Also, at the time gold's gym was 24 hours 7 days a week at certain locations. Now, however gold's gym no longer has any 24-hour gyms anywhere in the United States. So, the weight room 24 has become my permanent 24-hour gym. As with any gym equipment will occasionally go down. However, the weight room 24 staff is pretty quick to repair said equipment. Recently, both men's and women's locker rooms have undergone renovations. Each locker room has its own hot tub, showers, steam room, and soon, or eventually, dry saunas. The weight room 24 is and as described on their website not a flashy gym. It's a great place with a lot of free weights and a wide variety of machines to get your workout done. The are staffed during regular business hours and then the doors are locked afterwards and the use of a barcode keychain tag is used to grant access to authorized members after staffed hours. The gym offers a number of personal trainers, a smoothie bar, several cooled vending machines with a wide selection of energy drinks, protein shakes, and other miscellaneous beverages. Recently, a Prep'd Foods vending machine was installed and setup to offer reasonably priced healthy food options for those that are, shall we say either too lazy to cook or simply do not wish to prepare food. The machine operates on the same premise as an Amazon grocery store. It uses ShelfX weighing technology to determine what items you have selected and wish to purchase. Occasionally, the system will misidentify how many items you have picked and display one item you selected as more than one. Simply place the item back on the shelf in the same spot and see if that remedies the problem. I should also mention that lockers are available during the day however the key is required to be returned by 5:00 p.m. when staffed hours are ending. A 24/7 assigned locker is available to you for an additional $10.

I have been on my fitness journey now for almost two years! I have been to several gyms in the metro area and none of them compare to The Weight Room! This place is where it's at! Real equipment, filled with real fitness trainers and accomplished bodybuilders, power lifters, fitness models. It's a place where you can ask questions, learn and progress! It's not a gym where you just go jump on a treadmill for an hour so that you can tell everyone you go to the gym but a place to really change and pursue your goals! Yes it's old school but that's what people need to really change! If you want a gym where you can got to look cool watch tv and sit around on your phones and take selfies then by all means go to golds or planet fitness but if your in pursuit of a new and better you, come here!

This gym is for the weight lifter type. It has something for everyone, but it ain't no Planet Fitness. I love it because it has a wide variety of free weights and benches. They have machines, cables, cardio type classes, a pool or two, tanning etc. Check them out you won't regret it unless your not that into some sweatin and hard work.

Wanda is super nice. If you are an out-of-town guest you need to know it is $10 for 1 day and if it isn't during "staffed hours" (that aren't specified) you have to pay online, have access to a printer, then swipe a piece of paper through a scanner at the door. It is a bit inconvenient. It would be way better if you could just scan the barcode on your phone. My wife and I really liked this place when we worked out here last year during a trip.

The gym is currently under new management and new staff, they have replaced the rude people with some amazing friendly faces. the gym definitely isn't for everyone, its for people serious about fitness, wanting to get a workout in, sweat, and be amongst those who are just as enthused, being one of the very first gyms to open in the metro and still function it offers a lot of old school equipment that can't be found anywhere else, at the same time however it is being updated as time goes by to compete with the rest of the gyms around the metro, its inexpensive and provides so many programs your regular gym wouldnt, such as Crossfit, Zumba, Karate classes for kids, Self defense classes for women, boot camps, kids fitness classes, child daycare that goes till 9pm, and the list goes on. Unlike anywhere else, you dont want to leave your things unattended in a locker room without a lock, it isnt smart and safe, you run the risk of things getting stolen everywhere, if youre dumb enough to do so and believe everyone is a saint, well thats your own thing. but the Weight Room has definitely shown me to be one of the best gyms in the city!

Ahh The Weight Room. The gym. The place to get strong. Ive been coming to this gym regular now for over three years an average of 3 times a week.(I also have a membership at Golds on Memorial ) Fact. The locker room does smell. Fact. There are very few hot girls here ages 20-35. Fact. The billing is weird though inexpensive. All those things are true. However I do believe," that you become part of what you are around."-Zig Ziglar. Fact. This place is intense. The people that come here often are serious about there gains. These are not people passively interested in being fit. The regulars here, and there are alot of them, Win and Medal at Power Lifting Competions, Body Building competions, and Fitness competions. It is nothing to walk in to this place and see a Power Lifting Team taking turns squating 500 plus for hours or to see a young fitness model being coached on her physique and posing(often in bikini too though not the point) or the countless other nomads like myself that come here to Work Out not Show Out. People here from what ive seen are about Improving. I never walk in that place (except maybe sunday) and am the strongest natural person there, thats comforting. You become part of what you are around.

Lots of weight machines, usually 2-3 that will do the same exercises so there is not much of a wait to get a machine. Also cable machines, a free weight area and lots of treadmills, steppers and bicycles as well as a large lap pool and a smaller heated therapy pool for doing hydro therapy and different water exercises. Classes for general fitness, spin, tai chi, and other classes, Child care if you need to bring your children, but I'm not that familiar with it.

One of the best gyms in OKC! Huge amount of free weights, barbells, four flat bench stations, deadlift platform, machines, ropes, etc. Good pool, hot tubs, decent locker rooms!

Nothing shinny or new but nice people, plenty of machines and free weight to get a great work out in. I was in town for a wrestlig meet and took a gamble driving across town for it and it paid off. Really nice people. Get in there and do work!

I tried another gym and there was no motivation there. 3 times a week hurry up do the minimum and get out. Since coming here now go 5 times a week. Mostly late night so don't interact with the staff much but what I have has been pleasant.
