I've had many different trainers in the past and this has been the most professionally executed experience. Josh is extremely proud of the company and trainers, and rightfully so. He matched me with Matthew who is a great fit, very technical, and caters to my injuries to avoid further injury and still see results. I enjoy the convenience of him coming to my home vs me having to travel. It's been amazing! Highly recommend.

Josh and the team are amazing to work with! Desmond was great in the off season keeping my son ready for his next sport. I have been working out with Christina for several months now and I really enjoy spending my early mornings with her. She always comes prepared with great workouts that challenge me! Using GymGuyz has been an excellent way to get me back on a consistent workout schedule. They come to your house and bring equipment if you don’t have it. They are flexible and work within your schedule. I highly recommend them!

I’ve been training with Karen from GymGuyz for over 2 months now and it’s the best experience ever!!! She’s always motivating and after only 2 months of training there’s already visible results. I’m happy about all workouts she’s showing because it’s always with lots of explanation so I can listen to my body and to change my lifestyle and the way of thinking. Like I’ve always said to her- it’s a hard training but at the same time after every training I feel like after meditation. She’s the best personal trainer I’ve ever had and I’m happy to workout with her and to learn smth new at every gym session

Jonathan is a great trainer. Patient and flexible and able to work with you after a long hiatus from the gym! GymGuyz is a little pricey, but I would highly recommend them, especially Jonathan!

The best personal training experience I’ve ever had! The owner josh and my trainer Karen are very thorough, accommodating, and supportive. As an athlete my whole life I was so impressed with the level of precision and detail that my trainer implements when coaching my form. Everyone is professional and wants you to succeed. Also I don’t like spending money so I was nervous to spend this money on myself, but this company is worth their prices 100%.

GymGuyz, was a sensible choice for our desperate needs during the pandemic. The owner Josh was an efficient manager with clarity. His initial assessment was correct as evinced by the proper assignment of a trainer. Cliff, trainer for our 15 year old son, was a godsend for our fledgling athlete with his unassuming yet confident approach to the hard workout. Calm and patient but silently and persistently gets the workout complete. My son was happy to take on whatever Cliff has got for him for the session. Always punctual and polite. We started off with a full in-person assessment. Based on my needs, I was matched with Karen, who came on time for every session even on blistering cold mornings. She made the training sessions fun, ensuring I worked on all muscles , stretched and cooled down. She got me back to an exercise regimen! Yes the service is pricey but you pay for the convinience and a fully personalised service. Highly recommended!

One year ago I started my fitness journey with GymGuyz. I was at my lowest and needed to do something to improve my health and fitness - but knew I would find any excuse not to exercise. I decided to try a personal trainer so I called Josh at GymGuyz. He paired me with awesome trainers - Joan and Krisha - that pushed me and motivated me. It’s been a year since my first session and I’m still working out twice a week - even on vacation and business trips. GymGuys and their fantastic trainers really helped me make exercise a part of my life and something that I actually look forward to. I'm enjoying personalized, informative and really professional sessions. Completely flexible around my needs. A big thanks to Josh who signed me up, did my initial assessment to determine what type of trainer I needed and matched us up. John also keeps checking in to make sure all is well. Thank you guys. If you’re searching for a personal trainer, consider your search done. I’ve used personal trainers before, but nothing and I mean nothing compares to GymGuyz (E. Bergen County). I’ll tell you why... 1. Incredible response time- I called on Monday night, Josh was at my house 6:30am next day for a full body assessment. 2. Personalized Training- They really listen! I wanted cardio based workouts, and that’s exactly what I got! Which is a breath of fresh air considering many trainers just do what “they” think is right. 3. Schedule flexibility- This is a company (not one person), if you need someone at 5am, you’ve got one! If you want someone at 9pm, you’ve got one! 6 days a week...no problem. There is no waiting to see if someone’s schedule is free to fit you in. They’ve got a strong network of trainers, ready to cater to your schedule. 4. Trainer matching- This is by far my favorite point. Josh paired me with the BEST trainer for me (Dana). I asked for cardio based workouts he matched me with an athlete! She’ll get her own review below! 5. They bring the gym- I have a full (and I mean full) gym in my building, and I can honestly say we’ve never used ONE machine! They bring everything you need, you could literally get a full workout in your living room. 6. Class Options- They do it all! If you want: boxing, cardio, weight training, pilates, yoga, whatever your heart’s desire....they have the trainers! Forget going to Zumba, yoga, and pilates classes, they can do it all for you! Now for my favorite part, Dana, my trainer. I almost didn’t want to name her, out of fear everyone would start requesting her, but she is so damn good, I needed to shout her out and here’s why. 1. Insane workouts- I asked for cardio and she gave it to me! Dana is an athlete, and she trains you like one. I come out drenched in sweat very single time. 2. Fun- Don’t ask me how but every time we workout the time FLIES by. No joke, I really thought the clock on my phone was broken. I’ve never in my life had workouts go by to fast. 3. Motivation- Dana knows how to push you to be better, without annoying you. Her light hearted personality and charisma make you want to keep going. 4. Evolving workouts- Dana is constantly asking me what I like and what I don’t. What I want to do more of and what I want to replace. Every single workout is different, and constantly evolving. She sees what you can’t do and is ready modify anything. If you’ve read up to this point, I bet your reaching for the phone. Don’t hesitate, this is a service that is worth every penny. If it wasn’t, trust me, I would have never taken the time to write this. *Please note this is a review for GymGuyz Eastern Bergen County. I’m sure other GymGuyz locations are good, but the above review is specifically for Josh & his team.
