Barre3. My first review for them was in 2015, when they opened. I came for a Yelp event and I’m proud to say I’ve been a regular since then. Now, I’m not someone who sticks with a particular workout regimen, gyms are not my style. However, Barre3 is different. It is a combination of yoga, Pilates and barre founded by Sadie Lincoln. (Also a great listen on “How I Built This” on the origins of the company.) I’ve been coming here for 7 years. I’ve done community classes, I’ve bought class packages, I’ve done live steam and been in the studio. What I’m most thankful for is that this is a welcome, opening community. You are welcomed every time you come to the studio. Anyone is welcome to join. I’ve had friends join me who felt the body positivity during the class and felt welcomed. They frequently do community classes in locations like Paristown or at Work the Metal. I’ve enjoyed these classes too as an opportunity to share Barre3 with friends. In the spring/fall, they typically do class pack sales where I purchases classes so I can come and go as I can. I haven’t done the monthly membership only because it is hard for me to go on workdays. The instructors (Abby, Mel, Kelly, Emily, Becca) have all been amazing. They have different styles and I workout something new every time. This community makes me happy and makes me feel like I belong. It has taken me so long to find a fitness community that does that for me. I’m so glad Barre3 has been here for 7 years, and cheers and gratitude to more.

I wrote this review when I was a client of Barre3 "I love the upbeat atmosphere of Barre3. Mel was my instructor and the combination of the fun music and her high energy kept me motivated to keep pushing my body forward. Overall the workout was great and I could feel it days afterward, will definitely be going back!" but I love this community so much I became an instructor! Barre3 is truly one of a kind, and if you're looking for a place to get an amazing workout as well as a community where you are valued, this is your place!

I'm fairly new to the Barre 3 workouts but I really enjoy them! Ever since my first class when I was given a tour and introduced to my instructor I've always had a great experience here. The facilities are lovely and always so clean, and everyone is so friendly and nice. It's a challenging workout but always fun and upbeat. I really think it's a great place to check out if you want a good workout with awesome instructors and a welcoming environment. I definitely recommend!

I LOVE barre3! Every single person in the studio makes you feel welcome as soon as you step through the doors. I feel incredible after every workout and appreciate the modifications that are offered to accommodate all body types. The instructors truly care about you and your well being. I feel very comfortable, supported and feel incredibly strong each time I attend class.

Barre3 is truly the first time I have enjoyed working out. Everyone has been so friendly and there is no gym intimidation there. The workouts are incredibly accessible and modifiable, and I think there is something to gain for everyone from a barre workout. I have tendinitis in both knees, and even on bad pain days, I can still show up and get good workout while taking modifications and listening to my body.

Barre3 is my happy place. The instructors and other employees provide a carefree, loving, and supportive enviornment. I always feel 100x better after walking out of class, knowing I am pushed to new levels each class in new ways. It is a challenging and fun workout that goes by quickly. If you have never tired Barre3, I highly suggest giving it a try. It may give new a new appreciation for exercising and life the way that it has for me.

I've attended 2 Barre3 classes so far using my ClassPass. I have really enjoyed my experience during both visits. The front desk staff is friendly and welcoming. The class instructors explain/demonstrate the movements and make the class unique and enjoyable. I look forward to more classes at Barre3!

If you are looking for a challenging but fun and motivating workout- Barre3 is the place for you! First of all, the studio is beautiful with nice locker rooms and showers. The staff is super friendly and the instructors are full of energy. I took Mel's class about 2 weeks ago and she kicked my butt. My glutes and legs were sore in a very good way.

LOVE Barre3!! Such a great facility with an amazing, friendly, and caring staff!! They are always so positive and make sure your workout is for YOU, and teach you how to work at your own level. They are great instructors, the class structure is very organized, and the studio itself is ran very well! I will definitely return to Barre3!

Trying out Barre3 is one of the best things that I've done for myself. I love it so much that I now go 3-4 times a week! You get a full body workout that tones and energizes. The studio is very nice and clean, and all the instructors are GREAT!

The Barre3 environment is so positive and welcoming - not to mention an amazing workout. I started going to classes just over a week ago and have looked forward to each one I've gone to. The only thing stopping me from going more is that my muscles are sore and need some rest after being worked so much! I'm not someone who has ever considered purchasing a monthly membership at a studio and have always just done the introduction package and moved on to the next studio. After my first class I sat down and worked a monthly membership into my budget because I loved it so much. I can't wait to keep going to classes, working on making my body stronger, and getting to know the lovely instructors and students at this studio. <3

I am beyond thankful for barre3. The staff is amazing, always welcoming, understanding and just good people to surround yourself with. The class will make you sweat, shake and leave you feeling better mentally and physically than when you walked in. I have been a member since my youngest (now 2) was 5 weeks old and I can not imagine our life without barre3. The play lounge is by far the nicest “gym childcare” in Louisville. It is extremely clean, and the childcare workers are the sweetest! My children look forward to going throughout the week and so do I. I am so happy I found barre3!

I am recently new to Barre3 in louisville and I am loving it so far. The instructors and staff are friendly and knowledgeable, the location and studios are very clean and well maintained. Every class I’m in I workout every muscle in my body, some I didn’t even know I had. The classes are intense and very satisfying. I always leave the studio feeling 100x better than when I walked in.

I don't have enough positive things to say! I'm completely obsessed with the studio and oh so thankful that my friend introduced me to it. All of the instructors are phenomenal! Such dynamic women!! I love the variation, changes to the workouts, and of course the music!! I'm currently streaming Barre3's playlist at work on Spotify getting excited about tonight's class. The studio is impeccable, the staff is amazingly friendly, and the workouts have left me sore .. and I'm seeing results. Thank you again for creating such a beautiful, inspirational space for Louisville!!

I had a great workout. The format was fabulous as was the instructor, Nikki Naseef. If I lived here, I'd be a full time member. I love the total body workout and exhausting all muscle groups. I also love the little extras, like getting a towel for my personal space, there is daycare, and a little shopping if desired of Barre3 clothing.

I recently just moved to Louisville from Houston, TX and the first workout that I had at a gym was at Barre3 and absolutely LOVED IT! I have to say its by far one of the best workouts I've had in a very long time or ever have. The staff is super cool, very helpful, warm and profesional. TOTALLY RECOMMEND IT. ITS A MUST GO!

I would HIGHLY recommend giving Barre3 a try! I have been an athlete my whole life and have never loved a workout like I do my workouts at Barre3. I sound CRAZY to most people when I tell them I'm EXCITED to wake up and go to a workout class at 6am but it's my happy place! I came to Barre3 because I was craving a challenge and a schedule of class times I could actually fit in to my busy schedule. Between being a full time grad student, part time caregiver and nanny, I never get to do much for myself so Barre3 allows me the opportunity to spend an hour on JUST ME every day. I can't tell you how big of a difference it has made in my life so you DEFINITELY need to go in and check it out yourself, what do you have to lose?!

This studio is beautiful and spacious. Everyone is so nice, warm, and inviting. These workouts typically employ isometric movements and get that heart rate up to fun music. Of all the barre workouts, this has been my favorite and most challenging for me.

I came to barre3 from physical therapy. I was so intimidated by my first class, but I felt so good afterward that I committed to take as many classes as possible. That was only a little over a month ago. I can tell so much difference in my body and mind on days I do barre3 and days that I don't. I love this studio so so much! The women that work here are so strong (mentally and physically). I recommend it to all my friends and family. I buy my classes in bulk to cut down on costs. I try and go here at least 3 times a week and my mind and body have improved tremendously. The studio is fresh, open, and clean. I actually LOOK FORWARD to coming to workout.

Love the staff and the facility. Top notch. Workouts are challenging, and you can easily modify to suit your abilities. My **one and only** complaint is that it is *very hot,* especially at the beginning of class. Winter, summer, it doesn't matter. Some teachers don't even turn the fans on until halfway through the class. It makes me lightheaded to get that hot, so it's pretty uncomfortable, and I feel like I can't push it as hard as I would if it were cooler. Also, you start sliding all over the place from the sweat. I look around class and I can see that I'm not the only one struggling with this.
