I love the Inspired Method class at the Palisades Park in Santa Monica. All the trainers are great but Jared, the owner/manager, is just an unbelievable fantastic fitness trainer/coach! He is always motivated and motivates the students. He gives great instructions and is also great in giving corrections. All the trainers come up with something new every time and it's never boring.
I like the combination between cardio and strength/weights a lot.
If you want a great work out where you really feel that you have worked out the next day, this will be for you! Also the location on the bluffs near Montana Ave and the rose garden with ocean view is really lovely. I also appreciate that I can buy single classes as I travel for work.

I have been working out with Inspired Method for over 10 years. I’ve tried gyms, at-home workouts and group classes all around Los Angeles and this is the only work out that holds me accountable for showing up, provides the results I need and is always a pleasure (yes! A pleasure, to WORK OUT!).
Every single class is new and creatively crafted to work different muscle groups and provide a mix of cardio, strength training and recovery/stretching.
The trainer, Jared, has tailor-maid my workouts to target my specific goals and coach me through injuries even in the small group setting. He makes sure to provide options for all experience and ability levels. He is inclusive, inspiring, and a generally warm and positive human. He cares and it shows.
In the 10 years I’ve been a part of this community, I’ve made friends, stayed fit and have been so grateful to be part of this program.
Last but not least, I’ve felt safe throughout the pandemic when outdoor masks were required. Also, the outdoor workouts are both beautiful and provide peace of mind as this pandemic drags on. In addition, who wouldn’t rather look (and sometimes be on) our beautiful Santa Monica beaches than gym walls!

I've enjoyed attending the Inspired Method Fitness since the beginning of this year. The workouts are never the same, and the hour goes by surprisingly fast. I'm seeing results as I've built up my endurance and strength through the classes. I like that the workouts are challenging but also not to the point where I am dying at the end of the class! It's definitely sustainable - otherwise, I would not be able to go to the 6am classes!
Jared is a wonderful coach as well. Some fitness coaches can be too boisterous and too high energy for me, but Jared has a calming energy and is a great motivator.

Jared is an incredible coach - he creates great all-round programs that vary from day to day and build on each other. He gives very clear instructions to the group, and then makes sure to pay attention to every individual’s personal goals and needs. He’s never one of those annoying coaches who just shouts at you to drive you harder. His approach is much more inspiring - “Inspired Method” is the perfect name for what he does!
Best of all, the class is outside, overlooking the ocean in the sunshine - it feels so healthy to work out there. I’m never stepping foot inside a gym again.

When we were hit with lockdown due to COVID-19 Jared seamlessly transitioned to daily Zoom workouts that enabled me to maintain much needed structure, routine, fitness and stress management. Absolutely recommend Jared!!! My husband and I have a peloton and tonal and were struggling. I shifted more towards only using our peloton bike and not using our tonal at all. I know the positives of strength training and wanted to find my balance. Jared helped me find my balance and purpose. It's pretty much like having a personal trainer within a fun group of people. Jared keeps us inspired and engaged with not one minute wasted because he's super organized to make sure we get a well-rounded workout every class. After he models each exercise he watches each of us closely to help us make corrections if needed. I have some past injuries so he assigns me alternate moves based on my specific needs. Although we are a group, he checks in with me constantly to see how I'm feeling and to make sure I'm using correct form to maximize the benefits. He is a trainer that really cares about each one of us!

They care about you as an individual and strive to help you pursue your fitness goals both in and out of the class. Shelter at Home started with my husband making a loaf of sourdough practically every day. 8 lbs later....Jared was highly recommended by a friend who had been working out with his class in Palisades Park. I've been taking his 2-Pillar Challenge via Zoom for a few months now, and I'm very happy with the workout. It's challenging, but Jared is an excellent communicator, and he's effective at getting me to hone in where it's necessary to get the maximum effect. The best part; the 1 hour workout just flies by. I really feel better and I can tell I'm stronger. I look forward to coming out of this pandemic in better shape than when it started.

I have known about Jared's program for fitness for perhaps as much as four years now. I was involved in some other programs nearby sharing the same park and beautiful views of the Pacific. I would observe as the teams worked out and individuals sometimes run by me during my own routines. One thing in passing by I gradually got to know Jared on a friendly basis. He was always welcoming and suggested I take the first class free to see if I like it. As we went through a difficult period in 2020 we all made adjustments to carry on what we love to do. Like exercise outdoors. the time was right and since being a consistent part of the Inspired Bootcamp, I regret that I did not participate sooner than just now what's become a year and a half worth of my own participation. He is masterful in the techniques where you may feel in any days class, the focus for stretch and circulation improvements, even light yoga, but I always feel in control of the gas pedal and by the end like I had the best workout possible I could have had for the start of my day :-) Thank you Jared for being there and continuing to be there. Jared works with each of us to give special attention to our fitness levels and physical limitations . He helps those of us who might have injuries to find exercises to fit our situations.
Even when I had toe surgery , I still came to class with my boot ,

I love that he offers something for everyone.. the class is not intimidating and is comprised of students at all ages and fitness levels. He does a great job of pushing me beyond my comfort zone. Jared does something truly amazing with his boot camp-- he brings exceptional focus and knowledge, humor, creativity and variety to our workouts. I actually LOOK FORWARD to my 3X/week intense workouts. Cardio, strength, stretching, mobility work, pliometrics... and even 'field trips' where we may head down to the beach for part of our workout, or take advantage of the incline. My class has people from 25 - 70, and Jared provides options for all levels of fitness. I truly cannot recommend Jared's boot camp more strongly. If you're ready to up your fitness game you should do yourself the favor of checking this guy out!

I really can’t say enough good things about Jared and Inspired Method!
First, the Method: I have been doing Bootcamp for over 4 months now (3x/week) and I’m back to being in great shape—feeling strong but light, great cardio. For every class, Jared puts together a challenging mix of cardio, strength & mobility work and provides individualized instructions for everyone in the class (more advanced folks go for longer runs and do harder versions of exercises, and beginners can power walk and do the regular version of strength work). Every class is different, which keeps it interesting, and we work out outdoors in Palisades Park. Everybody wears masks and keeps them on the whole time (safety first!).
Second, about Jared: he is the most incredible trainer, motivator, and teacher. He is not only super qualified and great at his job, but he is nice, always upbeat, and really cares about his students. He is super organized (sends emails about the week’s workouts on Sunday mornings, always responds quickly to emails, makes sure classes start and end on time) and works really hard at creating new, challenging, interesting, and fun workouts. He is a huge proponent of what I would call “well-rounded fitness,” by which I mean that flexibility, cardiovascular health, and nutrition are as important as strength. Inspired Method is definitely a lifestyle and I would encourage anyone who wants to get great results in a supportive yet challenging fitness environment to try it.

I had just purchased a Peloton bike when the pandemic started. For 2+ years I've been on that bike most days. When a friend asked if I wanted to do a trial boot camp class I was hesitant. I've done them before and while I love them I thought I had all I needed at home. I gave the class a try and instantly loved it. It is a great well-rounded workout. Cardio, weights, stretching, breathing, etc. Every class I've done has been different. But the mostly important thing is that it is good for my mind. Being outside on the bluffs, working out with others and the incredible trainers who are so knowledgeable about the body. I'm so happy I started this and I hope to continue for a long time!

I have trained w Jared for +7 years now.
He is the best trainer, always changing things up, very sensitive to what's going on with your body. I had some back issues and could not train like a "normal" person for a long time and he gave me all other exercises that worked for me, even though its a group class.
I have never met another trainer that will email you to check in what's going on if you don't show up to class for a while. He is just a great person and an amazing trainer on top of it.

Jared, the setting, and my fellow campers are a huge draw, which is important when the alarm goes off and bed is soooo cozy. I didn't grow up athletic, I haven't historically loved working out, and I've been coming consistently for eleven years.
Jared is a chill cheerleader, a funny fitness nerd who's always learning and changing it up. He brings it every. single. time. And encourages us to bring our best, too. Whatever that is that day. I've shown up after surgery, with a broken toe, a broken heart, Jared always has a workaround that keeps me fit. His classes start my Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays right. And his personal excellence and belief in us makes their way into other parts of my week.

I passed The Inspired Method workout in the park for years before I finally took the flyer and called Jared for a free intro class last Oct. My only regret is that it took me so long to try it out. I've been working with him three times a week ever since.
This is a great workout because it covers cardio & strength as well as life style tips for meeting your goals. Jared and his other trainers know how to modify the workout for any level and still challenge you each day. What I truly love is how they invite you into the exercises. I really hate it when a trainer yells at you to just do it. At Inspired Method they sweetly invite you into the challenging exercises and welcome you wherever you are at. Never bullying you or making you feel inferior as many trainers do.
And with covid, Jared continued to offer his fabulous workouts online and now that we have returned to the park he has all the covid safety measures in place to help us get a great workout and stay safe. I highly recommend it!

I am in Los Angeles sporadically and whenever possible I drop in for classes with Jared. What I enjoy:
-parking is free and easy for the 9 AM class (I don't know about other times)
-the bluff is gorgeous with ample trees for shade and views of the ocean
-Jared is a great instructor, pays attention to safety and detail
-I like that I can make the workout tailored to my needs, I have prior injuries so I need to be very mindful of form and function
-I respect that Jared enforces mask wearing and social distancing

I have never been in better shape in my life! Jared is not only super knowledgeable about physiology and fitness, but is kind, attentive, fun and HILARIOUS to boot. I normally don’t want to ever speak to another human first thing in the morning, but he fosters a sense of real community with the group and I always end up leaving feeling in a great mood and ready to start my day. And that’s just the MENTAL part of it. I always get an AMAZING workout as well, of course. Because it’s outdoors, it’s inspiring, beautiful and lends to the overall experience. I can genuinely say that Inspired Fitness has changed my life- by changing my outlook on the way I stay in shape. I’m looking for something negative to say, but it’s really difficult. The worst thing is that the class has made me a morning person. Seriously, I honestly enjoy waking up early to work out and get my day going now. So I guess it’s all positive from here. Jared is a mastermind of drawing up workouts where every level of fitness of every age gets in a great workout side-by-side and advances toward their own goals. Which he encourages everyone to have so that he can tailor not only the workout to your needs, but also recommend things outside of class. From analyzing your diet to make simple, meaningful tweaks to drawing up workouts on off-days to keep you moving, he has an individual plan to help you shed some pounds or just feel better in general. That’s what’s great about Inspired Method - it’s not just one hour a day three times a week. He’s accessible throughout the session, after class or through email, to answer questions. And he works within your lifestyle to help you accomplish your goals. I, for instance, like to bend an elbow once in a while, so he’ll strategize on how many drinks are okay to keep me on track. Any concern is always met with positivity and support. He has an unflappable smile even in the faces of tired, groggy campers every morning. I’ve been going to class for over 6 years and he still manages to keep workouts fresh, challenging, and impactful. Why, I’m even intermittent fasting now. Never thought that would happen, but it’s paying off. He’s gained my trust in giving my limits just the nudge I can handle. I can’t recommend Inspired Method highly enough.

I love moving outside and Inspired Method meets at the most beautiful park in Santa Monica! Working out under the palm trees and breathing in the ocean air is incredible. I'm obsessed with the variety of movement Jared coaches us through. The class is the perfect balance of challenge and satisfaction. Jared's outdoor workouts are my JAM! He makes it fun, mixes it up, makes us laugh and keeps us fit -- join us! Inspired Method starts my Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays right and the benefits fill out my week with positivity. Nobody is more surprised than me that I go to 6am boot camp, but simply put, it makes my life work. It also allows me to keep up conversation while walking up a flight of stairs, run after a London bus and make myself safer in this crazy world. It felt so good to answer "Yes!" when my doctor recently asked if I exercise. The next week I saw her at the Inspired Method mixer -- she works out with them, too!

The classes are different every time, the coaches are first class, super motivating, and always ensuring the class is accessible to all levels.
