I love my routine that I’ve created from having a personal trainer, to friends, to associates at GNC helping me with getting it together. I like that fact that Get Fit is open 24 hours that way there’s no excuse for me to not go to the gym. Now that my training days are over I still ask the trainer’s questions and they kindly answer I appreciate their help. I also watch others and get motivated by their exercises as well. Consistency is key Good Luck on your journey 💙🦾

When I joined a few years back, this gym was great. All the equipment was working and the staff was friendly and on top of maintaining things or addressing issues with guests. Nowadays, things unfortunately feel like they are starting to go downhill which is sad because me and my mom would like to stay members because of the location, but we are seriously considering canceling. The pool has been out of order for a very long time now, even more so the heat for the pool was broken longer than that. The cardio theater was my favorite section of the gym, but it seems that their projector breaks for some time and needs repairs, or movies are not streamed. I understand some dvds don't have autoplay, however today we went and my mom asked about the projector not working because a movie was being advertised. The front desk said they would send someone and never did within the hour to play the movie. My mom isn't as techsavvy, so she didn't know how to work say a music player or phone to stream things on while she worked out. Machines are also getting a little dirty. I appreciate the sanitation stations and people are very good at wiping things down when they finish using them, however if you get a good look, things could seriously use a deep clean.

First visit, not busy Sunday afternoon. Nice place, plenty of equipment. Pool is down for repairs, but should be open by end of the month. As of 9/7/22, pool is still unusable. I got chastised by several staff members because I didn't check in at the same time as my friend who has the membership and was waiting for me near the check in station. Not very welcoming for a guest. The check in tablet was having wifi issues too. The positive to my visit was seeing our favorite Trainer he always has a smile for us!

My husband and I joined May 27th this year. I was a member a few years ago but just quit coming. So I got my husband to join me and one of the biggest important advantage was because of the pool. 😠 At the time we joined we were told it should be repaired about 2 weeks and here it is August 4th and not done it’s discouraging and frustrating for one agreeing to join for 2 years. I spoke with the manager about the pool situation and he didn’t really have any answers except just waiting for the part to come in and also I wrote a statement to the manager it’s in my file. At the time we signed up the agreement was that we had to come together to our agreement for the sales deal so later in that week I got to thinking later that week what if one of us couldn’t make it we were told that we had to come together or I could pay an extra so it was an extra $100 just so it would be ok in case one of us couldn’t make it. So I paid the extra money. I do however really like the staff and like going to the gym but I’m really ticked off about the pool and I wish I didn’t sign up for a 2 year membership because anything can happen in two years I should of did the monthly but it’s done unfortunately.

I have to change my review, unfortunately. I dont suggest hiring a personal trainer here. That said, I never feel like it's overcrowded and the pool always has a lane open. Having a separate 'women only' area to work out is amazing. The gym is clean and you see more people cleaning off equipment after use than not.

I found the gentleman working the front counter very pleasant and customer oriented . The gym it's self good collection of equipment . The woman's only section is okay really not much to brag about the womens locker room was not the best broken lockers 1 out of 4 toilets had toilet paper . The showers were disgusting . No pool due to schedule

I visited the gym for a potential membership. When I arrived the person at the front desk said she could help me and she didn't know the answers to any questions. She had to call someone else. It looks like a decent club but it was a bad first impression. I joined the gym somewhere else.

I actually just left the gym and was blatantly disrespected by the day manager KP. I went in to renew my membership which me and him discussed over the phone A certain price but when I went in he wanted me to pay $149 extra. Which I did not mind paying because clearly it was all a big misunderstanding and miscommunication. When I asked him why he told me a certain price over the phone but now is charging me extra he got extremely defensive and started being rude. And he got really upset when I told him “ I don’t know what your problem is but if you’re having a bad day I would like to speak with someone else”. Overall I really like the gym and how spacious it is but the manager KP was very disrespectful.

Started going to Get Fit in early 2018 I think. Started working with Travis as a personal trainer later that year. He is by far the best trainer I have ever worked with. I run a lot of half marathons and Spartan races. He would adjust workouts to help with specific things I was struggling with in races. He was really good with knowing my race schedule and working around it. He would explain why we would do the exercises we were doing and the benefit they provided. He is also just a good dude and I enjoyed talking with him while I was working out. Would 100% recommend him to anyone.

Been a member for several years thoughts below. The Good the bad and the okay below The good Price - 9/10 decently priced. Way better that the YMCA down the street Free Weight room - 8/10. They have all basics. Would be nice if it was larger area and maybe one more squat rack. Pretty good though. Supposedly there is Weight Machines - 10/10. I don't use them, but they have everything. Parking - 10/10 never a problem The Okay Cardio rooms - 7/10. They have plenty of treadmills. Would be nice if they serviced or removed those that are out of service. Should pull some from movie area to up top. Movie room is a cool concept but it's hard to trust it's sanitary because how dark it is and if they clean it as often as bathroom then it's a problem. Other cardio equipment t available Pool - seems okay idk. Seen better, question cleanliness. The Bad Men's bathroom - 2/10 - there are two stalls and it is always SOAKED in there . There needs to be a full time custodian or dehumidifier or something else to keep it dry in there. It has never been not soaked in all the times I've ever gone here. I'm assuming women's restroom is the same but idk. Lockers are fine but they need to add a bathroom or find a better solution for this. 100% worst part of the gym and sole reason for my review. Part of it is that it's stalls are connected to pool entrance and showers. Will get your shorts/pants drenched if used and will get your shoes soaked even if you use urinals. Complete oversight Overall this gym is the best option on the east side, but could improve sanitation wise in bathrooms. Hope this review has any impact on that.

I have been going to this gym since Get Fit took control and I have been impressed with the quality of their employees and management and the condition of the gym. I haven't written a review before but yesterday Mr Patel approached me and a guest I brought and did it in such a professional manner, without bringing pressure to join, that my friend decided to join on his own because of his experience and the way Mr. Patel presented the options. Their trainers are top shelf and know what they are doing, Mr. Scott trained me through an injury and brought me back. He is now training my wife and I have been trying to get her into a gym for 30 years and now because of him she loves it. The general manager takes the time to talk to me check on how I'm doing. Love this place, come join the family :)

The gym the sauna the staff the equipment but the tanning beds need new bulbs or replaced and made sure they have been wiped down and it seems that anyone can go in if not a prime member. Everything else is wonderful.

They have amazing customer service & the treatment from the staff at the club is top notch, especially KC! He always has a smile on his face and has such a great attitude. they're all so wonderful and pleasant. LOVE IT THERE!

Just got a membership and came for the first time and I love it. If you come really early or really late it's not as crowded. I love that they have a women's room and a Cinema room as well. The best part is they are 24/7!

I won the grand prize, was I questioning if it was a trick? Yes, I read the comments and let me just say if you do you homework and read the fine print it should not catch you off guard. It only seems like it has a catch if you aren't looking to spend some money. What they provide I feel it is worth it!!! So when I had my first PT it was with the head PT Jordan he is awesome 😎 (except he is not a Packers fan🤣🤣). I never had a PT and he was gentle and effective and efficient for a newbie like myself. I learned so much about myself mostly I just need to push myself more, so Thank you Jordan and Get Fit Gym!

I was very impressed with this gym. More so with KP, I was given some bad information and was very discouraged! One of those screw it, i just won't work out or come here anymore type of things. KP was able to communicate the facts to me in a very professional way and provide me with options. Great facility! You want to feel like your gonna change yourself, come to this gym and feel the vibe of energy! Plenty of equipment and room. Staff is friendly and no negative vibes going on here. Come see for yourself! I came from Michigan and couldn't find a REAL gym anywhere till sometime told me about this place, so glad they did!!

This is the first gym I ever became a member of. They have people of all sizes so I don't feel weird or uncomfortable going. The machines have pictures on them to basically show you how to work them. I love the cardio theater it's nice and cold in there and time flies. They have woman only section, wifi, showers, you can rent lockers too. You can tan here if you wanted, (not my thing). They provide paper towels and sanitizer to clean machines in-between uses. It's 24/7 and also has a pool. All members get a free smart start and their personal trainers are cheap. Looks clean to me, I always see a older person sweeping. Glad they give older folk easy jobs like that. All the equipment seems well taken care of. I don't see any fraying in the wires and everything seems lubed up and it working order. Right on the bus line too.

This gym has great amenities at a great price. My only problem is that the locker rooms get a little dirty during the night hours and no one ever puts back their weights in the free weight area.

Gym itself is great! What I want changed is for the general managers to instruct/teach their workers(especially males) to be thoughtful of what they say to other employees. Certain employees should be taught to treat all with respect and just keep their comments to themselves. Get Fit employees: Be profressional!

It’s a $10 dollar gym... You can get what you need done done in the gym when the equipment isn’t broken. A lot of things that are broke with in the facility do not have signage to notify customers or know updates on when things will be fixed. It’s not the best gym but it’s $10 If you want customer service & cleanliness this is not the gym for you. If you just want a cheap 24 hour gym with free weights here you go. Some of the staff is very helpful in updating you on equipment that is now fixed or helping with any needs you need at the front desk. I’m sure there are some great daytime employees. I don’t really go during the day but night crew is pretty helpful nat in particular. Shes always available upfront if you need help or easy to find just doing cleaning or restocking around the gym.

I really don’t like gyms. There was an awesome promo at a rate I could afford so I thought I’d check it out. The staff are amazingly friendly. I joined the same day and got a one on one consultation the next day. I’m really excited to go to the gym more often now. This place is extremely clean the colors are inspiring and it has a very large layout with multiple rooms. I especially like the women’s only workout space and the sauna.

Great gym! They have all the equipment you could ask for including free weights and machines. The only thing I wished they had were big folding mats to do ab work on the floor with. Started here a few months ago and the basic membership is $10 plus a $95 yearly membership fee (so like $18 a month which is still a deal), or there's a higher tier too with more perks. The cardio cinema is pretty cool, and its a busy gym but I see cleaning people constantly so if there's a mess it gets cleaned up pretty quickly. Great place to work out!

What the gym provides is AMAZING..It's just the nasty people that trash the place leaving globs of hair in the showerss.. females that trashed the WOMENS bathrooms smearing feces in the upstairs bathroom. I wish the pool was heated . And that all staff knew how to turn it up

I enjoy coming to this athletic club very much. The staff is great/ friendly always smiling. Tracy my personal trainer is just awesome !!! Tracy has such a positive vibe and great attitude. I been working with her since late February and I see a tremendous change in body. If I was To do this all over again, I will definitely choose Tracy. I highly recommended working out with her. She will not let you quit on yourself and always has the right words to push you through the workout. I like how she challenges me every time to push harder than what I ever though I could do. After working out with her I always want to come back he next day and do more , more and more .

I cannot say enough good things about this gym. It's always clean, the staff is always wonderful, there's a great variety of equipment, and they always keep their equipment in good working order. Hands down the best gym I've had and the price tag for a membership is totally worth it.

I've been a member of Gold's for going on 3 years and am so thankful for my journey here. When I came in nearly 100 lbs heavier than I am now, I was greeted with a genuine desire to help me succeed. The trainers have a vast knowledge of fitness and varying training styles to compliment any personal goal. I love that it is open 24/7 and even during the busiest times of the day, you're still able to get through your workout in a reasonable amount of time. I'm so thankful for all of the people I've met through Gold's and especially Chris Foster as my personal trainer. Having a gym that feels like home and an amazing support system are both important to me!

My wife and I have been members on and off for a couple of years. We find it to be a great value with a nice friendly staff. We have had an outstanding experience though using Jovan as a personal trainer since February of 2018 and continuing. He has a awesome attitude, changes up our workouts weekly and constantly challenges us. I have lost about 20 pounds and 4 inches in waist size but more so gained muscle mass and toned up. At almost 60 I feel great.

I have been a member at the gym for over a year and have been training with Tracey for a year now. The staff is friendly and I never have to wait to use the cardio equipment. I was intimidated about doing personal training but I cannot say enough of how great of a trainer Tracey has been. She cares about her clients and goes above and beyond working with me to see what would help me in my journey to be healthier. She doesn’t just solely focus her time on your workout but will go over other areas like eating habits, food suggestions, stretches. She is encouraging and she always offers to make herself available for questions and concerns.

I arrive each night at this gym used to do early mornings but now it is open 24hours so I can work out whenever I like. I do not know what Justin is talking about rarely does this gym have a machine down and if it is in 24hours it is back up and running. I use the free weights area and with all the space I get to do my routine without anyone rubbing against me. I also am a member at LA fitness it is new and I like that gym but sometimes I feel completely judged by others and the price around the same I pay here but at Golds I can also bring a guest I recommend going gold membership to anyone thinking of joining. The pool is well maintained and Bob is the best!!!

I love Golds Gym! I feel really comfortable there and I love the fact that they have a kids zone. My son gets so excited when I say "We have to go to the gym!" Its a bit of a drive for me, but its worth it. I also love that its open 24 hours. My personal trainer is Marie and she's awesome. I don't dread going to the gym anymore and I feel like I've gained and learned SO much from working with her. I've learned proper technique and feel confident in myself and my ability to work out. She knows how to give you results without being too harsh. It doesn't feel impersonal working with her and she's super sweet.

Good Gym. Not the absolute nicest but you can get a good work out done. Very rarely is equipment broken. Owner has been putting lots of money back into the facility since he is no longer w/ the Gold's Gym Franchise. I've been a member for two years. And it's the most affordable gym with that many amenities. The equipment has plenty of space around it so that you are no crammed together. There are new dumbells as of 2017. Pool is 25 yards. It is 75 feet long. No one on the staff could ever answer this question definitively, so I took a tape measure.

Golds gym has been life changing for me!!! The facility is always clean, my kids also enjoy Golds due to their great kids area and the staff is wonderful. My favorite part of my gym experience is when I am with my trainer Travis. He not only gives me tips on how to live a healthier lifestyle he pushes me and encourages me never to give up!!! I went as a guest with someone. They have lots of equipment. The way that the different sections are divided off is a very good idea. They have in only Women area, it’s good for women that don’t want to be watch while working out.They have lots of different options in their women’s area. Also the sauna in there is great.

I started having health issues and my doctor strongly encouraged for me to change my life style as far as eating and exercise. I really didn't think too much of what I ate, but I knew I wasn't comfortable in my own skin. I was unhappy and sluggish. So I decided to make some changes to keep from being prescribed different mess. So I started gold's gym at the end of January 2016. It has been the best experience so far. I made the decision to get me a a personal trainer because I had no clue where to begin. Britain Foster has been a big part of my journey. She goes above and beyond what she gets paid to do. I can truly say I believe she loves what she does and I feel like she understands my struggle. There's no intimidation which helps. I love my trainer and I love golds gym!!!!

Great place to focus on me! Many great options but the best is the personal trainers. Each one greets you with such positive energy that it is obvious they love what they do. They are there to help keep you motivated and set the path to achieve the goals that you set for yourself. As someone who has always been an athlete, I didn’t think I needed a trainer because I already knew what to do at the gym. I took the advice of a family member ,also an athlete, to try it. That is when my trainer Jovan Garcia took a hold of my work outs and I have never had a better experience. He knows what exercise combinations to put together and the knowledge that you need to see results faster than you could ever imagine. Along with that he always has a smile on his face and is a true motivator.

Golds Gym is awesome! I really can't say enough good things about my experience there so far! I've been a member for almost 4 months now and I love it! It is the only gym I've ever been a member of and have continued to consistently go! All of the staff is friendly and the entire gym (ambience) is just not intimidating. The past gyms I went to made me feel like it was all for show- so the members and staff were intimidating and almost snobby. But here, everyone is down to earth and have the same goals- which is to be strong and be fit! The best part of my Gold's experience has by far been my trainer- Britian Foster. She is amazing! She is always positive and encouraging, always has a different workout routine for me to do- so it never gets boring- and has gotten me to the point where I am seeing results on my body! When I started going I really just wanted to work on getting toned and she has absolutely gotten me there! She actually showed me muscles on my upper body the other day, that had never been accentuated in my life! If you are looking to have a fun and effective workout each time and are looking to see results- go to Gold's and ask for Britian!!!

In September 2018 I joined Get Fit Gym. I'm really surprised that I enjoy coming as much as I have. The staff was very helpful ( Jordan )! I will not say what my starting weight was, but I have lost some weight already, which has encouraged me to continue to go. I said I am doing this for me, seeing the results is amazing! I know that if I keep doing what I should be doing & eating right I will see better results! It is really a challenge trying to go after work and especially when it has gotten cold outside, but I told myself this year is going to be different and I'm trying to live up to what I said I was going to do! Get fit for ME!😍

Jordan Crosby was my Smart Start personal trainer. He was knowledgeable, engaging, and funny. He made me feel comfortable and at ease. He set me up with a personal trainer and was willing and able to work within my financial constraints in order to get it done. He communicates with me on a regular basis and answers all of my question or concerns immediately. Couldn't ask for a better person to help me start my journey toward weight loss and personal fitness. Thanks Jordan, you were great.

I did the cheapest plan paid two years in advance and this comes out to be by far the best priced gym on this side of town. I really don't ask for much at the gym and this seems to have everything I want. All the cardio equipment, free weights and machines. I don't have access to the pool or sauna with my plan but I really don't want to use that stuff anyways. I am super glad that they have a more affordable plan for people who dont want to use all the stuff they offer. And the fact that it is open 24/7 is a huge bonus.

I started at Get Fit exactly one year ago with the goal of gaining strength and losing weight. I’ve always been a yo-yo gym person. Because of this, I decided to sign up to have a personal trainer. Tracey has been amazing. She gets to know you, what you want, what you like/don’t like, and personalizes the training. I have gone from not wanting to go to the gym to actually looking forward to it, and a big part of that is because my girl Tracey will be there to push me, give me a great workout (and laugh!) and I can leave feeling proud of what I’ve done. I’ve gained so much strength- never thought I’d be lifting the amount I can lift! I could not recommend Get Fit, and particularly Tracey any higher- she’s the best and will push you to be the best.

Personally I really enjoyed Golds gym. Looks like a lot of other users on here left some pretty nasty reviews. As far as the service, I think they may have brought in some new staff. The pool is fantastic and the cardio center with a movie theater in it is very nice if you get bored running (although it could use more machines since it is very popular). weekly yoga with my girlfriend is a nice bonding activity and the machines here seem to be well maintained. The price is very reasonable for the size of the gym and it's nice that there is a women's only work out area since my girlfriend goes alone sometimes and it makes her feel more comfortable. Not sure what all the negative feedback is about, this place is great.

Still the best fitness center in Indy. Glad its back to normal 24 hour ops. Still need to turn down the music a bit (or turn it off completely). No one comes there to listen to that kind of music while working out.

Love that it is 24-7. Options for every workout plan. The staff and trainers are always friendly and down to help or answer any questions. The sauna is amazing. As well as the pool. Great price! Better than Planet Fitness.

I love working out at Get Fit because of their cardio cinema and the women only section. Most of all that's where I met Tracey my trainer she's been very supportive and very knowledgeable about fitness. Having a trainer like Tracey has been keeping me motivated and excited to go workout. She was definitely the best fit for me!

From the moment I walked in, in January, every employee has been warm, professional, and friendly. My trainer, Drew Welch, has been instrumental in facilitating the change I've made. The best thing about my Gold's Gym membership is my trainer Brooke. She is very knowledgeable and nice. Her intense focus and drive keep me highly motivated. She always tells me we have a love/hate relationship - I love to come see her and she keeps kicking my butt! :) I would give Gold's five stars but they got rid of my Yoga class with Sarah, who was so so wonderful.

I have had best experience since I've been at Gold's. My trainer Lance is the BEST. I was not going to sign up for a trainer until he explained that he understood my hesitations and would work me through it. He also told me his story and I realized that he understood the day fight. Needless to say I signed up for 6 months of training. I've lost 16 lbs in 3 weeks and my motivational hero is LANCE. He keeps me pushing myself further each time. Whether it's 2 more squats or extra seconds holding plank position I NEVER GIVE UP. I hate that I have to switch trainers soon. I'm sure she will be cool but there is no one like your first. LANCE IS THE BEST.

I was in town from Texas for a week on business and didn't need a membership. I just wanted a day pass to work out. Most places won't do that or charge you a month's membership. I was sent to one of the reps and told him what I needed. He was the nicest guy and gave me a three day pass. I will forever be a fan of Get Fit because of him. Not to mention the gym is great. My gym at home doesn't have a dry sauna and I love the one they have. The gym is super clean and has a ton of equipment. I highly recommend!!!!!

This place used to be a Gold's location; since the owner decided to change the company to Get Fit, it's definitely improved quite a bit. This location has a pool, saunas, a private gym for women only (great feature, if you're shy about being seen in workout clothes) and a comprehensive, if conventional, weight-lifting area, with enough variety and equipment that a lot of people can lift at once. Their trainers are excellent and the facilities are solid. They have classes for people who like to work out in groups, and Crossfit-style amenities for people who prefer that type of routine. Culturally, it's a pretty decent, polite atmosphere, if a bit busy. The crowd is extremely diverse, ranging from obese people trying to turn their lives around, one lift at a time, to hard-core lifters trying to get ready for shows, and the demographics reflect the diversity of the East Side. No matter who you are, you'll probably feel welcome. Haven't seen much harassment of females on the premises, either; men are generally very polite here. I think that since the facility changed over to Get Fit, it's really done a better and better job of reaching its core mission and, since it's 24/7/365, you can get in and do your thing no matter what your schedule's like.

I have had a great experience with the kid zone. The ladies that work there are very nice. Every time I bring my daughter and she's get so excited and hates to leave. It's a perfect place for your kid to play while you get a good workout in. I highly recommend the kids zone to all parents.

Love the fact that they are open 24 hrs 7 days a week except Christmas Day! Plenty of different equipment to attack the different muscle groups u may be concentrating on. I do have a few things that could be addressed. If you try to take a shower, the water is barely room temperature. During winter THIS is NOT the preferred temp. Been like this for the past 6 months. Also, need to try a bit harder during the wee hours when it comes to cleaning. Trash cans are usually filled to the top through out the gym & rest room.

Where do I even start to tell how amazing Get Fit is but then add in the personal trainers it makes it so much more then just a gym but a family. I started Get Fit many years ago but wasn't till I met Tracey my personal trainer that I got the results I so wanted. She taught me all about flexible dieting something I thought was just a dream in the weight loss world I mean come on I get to eat bread and ice cream guilt free and still be down 65lb in just 6 months. Tracey is there for me when I'm struggling always knows what to say to help me get back on track my own personal cheer leader. I swear sometimes she gets more excited about me hitting goals and beating my own personal best. If you are looking for a place to fit in and a family feel then Get Fit and Tracey are the right combo no matter what your own person fitness goals are.

I go there because it is a good value for the money. The monthly cost is low and it is a very nice facility. The downside to a gym like this is that the business model of including very gimmicky charges such as the "rate lock in charge" the unwritten rules where you have a "membership downgrade charge" or even the "membership cancelation charge" in addition to the monthly charges. These price structures offend me and seems like a dishonest way to squeeze extra money from people who are hooked into signing up by a seemingly low monthly charge. In my opinion it is a way to take advantage of people that don't understand this business model. For the most part they do disclose these extra fees in the beginning but it is a play on human nature where people generally downplay fees they do not have to pay immediately. Obviously Golds is not the only gym that is guilty of this.

After 90 days with the help of a fabulous trainer name Britian Foster I have found a new love for working out , its stress reliever. Being 50 years old and no experience with working out. She pushes me in helpful ways where am now seeing progress and seeing results. She's a trainer that will give you individual time and attention. Beyond your 30 minute sessions. With your diet and suggestions on a well-rounded routine to work on. I am very grateful for her I have lost over 60 pounds. Getting stronger , blood pressure is good and my heart rate is in the 60s. I signed up for a personal trainer and Tracey was assigned to me, and little did I know, it was a perfect fit! She's modified certain work outs for me to better fit my needs and now I'm never sure and I'm shedding weight and making gains like crazy! I have to be honest, I had never thought of the Gold's Gym brand as something that was for anyone but heavy lifters and competitive bodybuilders. And then one day I joined, only to be proven wrong! Yes there are heavy lifters and competitive bodybuilders....and everyone else! People at the beginning of their journey, people well on their way, and everything in between! The members are all supportive of each other and respectful of where we all are, individually. For those days I don't want to be in the main gym, I can easily hide in the women's only gym!! And let's not forget how happy I am to hang out in the cardio cinema!!! The movie screen helps distract me from timer on the treadmill. The staff are all fabulous! From the smiles on the faces of all the front desk folks, to the non-salesman-esque membership specialists, to the cleaning staff who are always on top of issues and ready to do what it takes to keep things clean, and huge kudos to the KidsZone staff who deal with lots of tears and screaming!! Last but certainly not least...the personal trainers are awesome!!! Especially my trainer, Carly. She kills me most days, pushes me past my own silly limits, and truly makes me want to be a better version of myself. She holds me accountable and keeps me going. All this with a smile on her face. (And a bit of an evil trainer twinkle in her eye.) Her support goes beyond the gym, though. I can text her whenever I need to, she is extremely knowledgeable about nutrition and has provided guidance from day one. Hopefully it is self evident that I wholeheartedly recommend Golds Gym Indy. I agree with Anna, Bob is the best! He is full of knowledge that he is willing to share. He also maintains the salt water pool, which is the only reason that I still have a membership at Golds. I am a swimmer, and you can't beat a saltwater pool that is well maintained. Unfortunately, the locker room is not well maintained. I alert the female employees to the conditions on a regular basis. These sales associates are lounging in the office playing on the internet when it is very obvious that no employee has been through the locker room in hours. If you have time to lean, you have time to clean. The condition of the locker room (especially the showers) is unacceptable by anyone's standard. A gym cannot clean the locker room once a day, and expect it to be enough. I joined Planet Fitness on Washington a couple of months ago because it is close enough to my office to be able to workout on my lunch break. It is ALWAYS spotless. It CAN be accomplished, so no more excuses Golds! Again, if not for the pool (and Bob maintaining it), I would have cancelled my membership long ago because of the locker room filth.

One thing that kept me coming back to this gym was the fact that women are becoming more confident in heavy lifting. It is not uncommon now to find women dead lifting in the free weights area any given time of the day. However, the Women's Only area has the best A.C. in the entire place, giving women the peace to work out without being stared at constantly by men. The Gold's Gym environment as a whole is one big family. If you're looking for a trainer, I would highly recommend Travis Inman. He is extremely dedicated to his clients success and carries pride in helping others achieve their goals. Always wearing a smile and motivational push. I really enjoy the fact that Gold's offers a wide range of equipment for fitness needs: however, the best part is my trainer Marie Miller. I had a partial knee replacement a year ago and came in with muscle loss and range of motion issues. Marie worked with me on a fitness regiment that resulted in full range of motion and muscle build up in my leg. Never thought I'd be able to perform lunges and squats again. She's fun to work with and is the reason I keep coming back!

I have liked Gold's since i became a member, but more recently, I have a new love for Gold's Gym since I have been working with the training department. I have never been athletic or one who loved working out. With an upcoming wedding in September and a wedding dress I ordered a size too small, I decided to get a trainer. Now I have been working with Britian Foster as my personal trainer for a little over two months. She has been amazing and a great motivator for my health and fitness as she has accomplished so much herself. I have already gained lean muscle, toned up, and lost enough weight to fit into my wedding dress in September. Now I have new health goals that Britian will be helping me achieve. I feel like a new person and I never could have accomplished these goals if it were not for Britain Foster. She sets up a nutrition plan and personal work out to fit your needs. She is a leader, who designs new work out classes that try to engage people who are not members as well. She is flexible to your schedule, willing to give more than necessary, always there to answer questions, pushes you, and cares about you like a friend. She is amazing to work with and I highly recommend her to anyone looking to accomplish some health or weight loss goals.

The people who come here to work out are here to focus and work hard - you won't find gossipy hens, time wasters, or social butterflies here. Indiana's very own Keanu "THE IRON TAJ" Patel makes this gym elite. A true meat head, this competitive bodybuilder legend is very knowledgeable about bodybuilding, nutrition, personal training, gym membership sales, etc. He has made my get some major muscle Gainz. The dawg man ruff ruff ruff ruff ruff. Look no further if you want to get jacked. Get Fit + Keanu aka THE IRON TAJ is all you need for solid results - no pain no gain baby no pain no gain!! On the rare occasions that I make it to the gym, and on such a day as this when my stress levels needs a readjustment- Gold's is my go to. Most importantly, it's clean. I always see the cleaning crew picking working no matter what time I come in. The Cardio Cinema is the only thing that keeps me sane while working off my love of chocolate. A good movie playing in a dark room can double my cardio time! The women's only room is also a big plus since though the general strength area is fully loaded, so are the regulars that inhabit it! For $10 a month my random visits are more than worth it.

I started going to Gold's about a year and some change ago...and I really liked the pool, sauna, and workout theater. I was doing okay and then got engaged. So to step it up, I got a trainer, Marie Miller. She is AMAZING. "Sweating for the Wedding" should be on her resume. I have lost 2 dress sizes and I joke with her that I'm sending my wedding dress alteration bill to her. She keeps me motivated and genuinely cares. She can tell when I've had a bad day at work and need to get that aggression out. She is always coming up with new ways to motivate me and I swear I will beat her in a wall sit soon!

They have the same equipment as before they haven't added anything different or New wish they would update the workout machines they could get alot more ppl to want to workout here . Set up membership a few days ago had some issues when I went in to fix payment at 12am (mind you I called at 1pm at work to let them know it would be late and they said someone would be there) and no one was there I head the chick that was supposed to be there was a no sho so yeah. Instantly, there were a plethora of posts advertising personal trainers in Indianapolis. However, there was one that I kept gravitating towards; Coach Tracey Murphy! There are several factors that led to me wanting Coach Tracey to train me. I noticed that Coach Tracey would mention “#GetFitIndy” in her posts, which indicates her support and affiliation with Get Fit Athletic Club - Indianapolis. Coach Tracey showcases her clients progress (with their permission) with brief descriptions on how their goals were achieved. Most importantly, she used herself as an example by sharing posts about her healthy lifestyle change to motivate others. Our first encounter, Coach Tracey greeted me with a smile and a friendly personality. Being in an unfamiliar atmosphere can be intimidating; not with Coach Tracey. She welcomed me with opened arms. Coach Tracey is prompt, she gives her clients access to communicate with her 24/7, she provides nutritional guidance, and she pushes you to give your all, when you feel like you have nothing left to give. I was struggling with a workout one day; in the midst of me contemplating to give up, Coach Tracey reminded me of “my why.” “My why” is to be an example to my family suffering with diseases that can be managed or reserved my switching their diet and increasing their physical activity. In that moment of struggle, Coach Tracey knew what to say to give me that extra push. I’m extremely grateful for the Get Fit Athletic Club - Indianapolis and its wide variety of programs. Most importantly, I am grateful for new health and strength and that is thanks to Coach Tracey Murphy!

My trainer Britian Foster is so great! After a small amount of time working with her I have seen amazing changes!! I have been training with Britian Foster for a couple months now and she is absolutely amazing!! She not only has a passion for fitness but the well being of others lives. She knows what she is talking about and breaks everything down so you understand. Something I find different with her than most trainers is, she is constantly working to improve her knowledge of lifting and training. One thing I love about training with her is that while working out, she is not only showing you new exercises and pushing you but telling you exactly which primary and secondary muscles you should feel being targeted. She also teaches you how to stretch each muscle, which has helped me immensely. Since training with her, I have gotten my drive to workout back. She makes working out fun and enjoyable. Britian promotes a lifestyle change; she's not only my personal trainer but an inspiration to everyone in that gym. She encourages and promotes new classes, ways of eating, views on working out but never pushing them on you. With Britian I know I'm getting a specialized workout plan. When one excerise doesn't work, we automatically try new exercises until we find one that does. With my busy work schedule, it's hard to have a consistent weekly training day but she allows her schedule to be flexible around my needs. I would highly recommend Britian as a trainer to everybody who is wanting to get their butt kicked into shape! By far the best one out there
