TJ is absolutely fantastic! Always has a positive attitude, willing to moderate and work with injuries and abilities, but he doesn't let you slack! You still feel like you got a workout. I have seen so many successful clients of TJ's just in the few months I've been going. And I'm one of them. Nothing has ever worked as well for me. I've lost 30 lbs, but the best part is feeling myself getting stronger and feeling better. Of course it's also a plus to have to buy smaller sizes, or just fit into those smaller sizes I've been holding onto. 😋 I strongly recommend TJ and Merle Hay Fitness for anyone that wants to feel better and get healthier. TJ is the best!

I worked with TJ & Devin on my journey to fitness. They are really the best mentors and workout professionals in Des Moines( I’ve tried a couple of them) especially TJ , who cares like none other. The accountability, motivation, nutrition- guides, workouts, MHF family... is phenomenal.

I have been working out with TJ at Merle Hay Fitness Personal Training for a year now. I get the personal attention I need, and TJ does a great job of holding me accountable and keeping me motivated. I have been surprised over the course of the year at what I can accomplish physically now. I can do more in my 40's than I could in my 20's and 30's. I have been training with TJ for almost 2 years, I am probably the oldest, and I do mean the "oldest" I workout three mornings a week and I would never go anywhere else with any other trainer. I broke my shoulder in 2010 and TJ is so very knowledgeable on what type of strength training I need to increase the strength in the large shoulder muscles that prevents the stiffness. Not onnly is TJ the best trainer I consider him a very good friend great personality and has a great sense of humor - he has to in order to put up with an old lady like me - he is also a good reliable source on food and nutrition 👍👍👍👍👍
