This place looks incredible and is also a great workout! I was nervous at first to go to a pole class, but once I was there, it was such a welcoming experience. The instructor and all of the people in the class were all so friendly! It made me feel great and I’m still sore (in a good way)! I even signed up for a membership after going! I highly recommend!

heartful is a wonderful chain of studios! all of the instructors at the pole studio are so helpful - i notice the progress in myself. everyone is welcoming and the environment is always so positive. i would highly recommend attending! even if you go alone, you will make a friend at class!!

I’ve been pole dancing off and on for a few years and recently got back into it at this new studio. Y’all—this is it. All the instructors I’ve met so far have been so supportive, innovative, and full of joy for what they’re doing. It’s been amazing to see so many BIPOC folx and people of all body sizes and shapes both teaching classes and attending them. (By the way, I asked—there is no weight limit for the poles!) After over two years of this pandemic, coming to this studio immediately felt like being welcomed into a community and I think a lot of people are really hungry for that right now. Plus, I’ve been delightfully sore after every single class I’ve taken so far! 😂

Heartfelt studios has created such a beautiful, unique, inclusive community within the Columbus fitness world. When you walk in a Heartfelt studio, you immediately feel the energy shift and can tell you’re surrounded by instructors and classmates who are there to have fun and move their body without the pressure of giant tv screens with competing numbers or pushing diet culture on you. Pole is one of those sneaky workouts where you’re having so much fun that you forget you’re working out and then the next day muscles are sore in your body that you didn’t even know existed! If you’re looking for a fun, playful way to move your body in a supportive and nonjudgmental environment, stop looking. Seriously- Heartfelt is all you will ever need!

I hosted a bachelorette party for one of my besties at Heartfelt Pole Studio and we had a blast!!! Aspen and Gracie were our instructors and they taught us a sexy and fun routine! This was great because everyone had fun and we were all beginners! This was a perfect bachelorette place because it's in the heart of the Short North and we were able to bar hop after! I will definitely be back again to take a regular scheduled class!

Pole is new to me and the instructors make sure I’m safe in movement, while offering suggestions for improvement. This space is for all bodies and anybody. i’ve always been hesitant about engaging in movement in public because of my body size. i also was so nervous about going to a pole studio because the recommendation is to wear not much clothing! i have a big stomach, and i was so scared. i’ve never done this type of movement before either! however, hazel is amazing and so welcoming! i am in awe of the amazing people in this class who are doing the amazing moves and tricks. they continuously offered and demonstrated different moves that might be a better starting point when my body was learning to move in a different way. i’m so excited for next monday with hazel:) come here!! it was intimidating that the other class members were doing these incredible moves, but it was also so inspiring. the class pole foundations is mixed levels, but if you like shocks to the system in movement, this class is perfect!

I had so much fun at my first pole class at Heartfelt! I took Aspen’s Sensual Pole class on Sunday, it was a great workout with challenging yet approachable choreography. Aspen made me feel comfortable and prepared, and took extra time to break down certain tricks or questions we had. I loved her approach to movement and emphasis on musicality. The environment is uplifting, and the studio is bright and clean. I can’t wait to come back to Sensual Pole and check out other classes too!

Being a long time patron of Cycle and Yoga studios the Heartfelt studios have become a safe space I can turn to and find a welcoming and loving community and a place I can just burn frustration/stress. And it’s no surprise that once the pole studio opened, I had to check it out. After my first class I am feeling a new sensual power and a lot of new muscle zones. The class was supportive and encouraging. Highly recommend to check out one of the 3 amazing studios that create what Heartfelt is.

I have officially been to all three Heartfelt studios and the energy Vinny and the team have crafted is phenomenal. Heartfelt Pole has become my second home. I began courses a month ago and was very nervous and out of touch with myself. I am recovering from some injuries, and everyone always does a body check, shares multiple options for moves, and really focuses on starting where you are safely. I have grown so much since coming to this studio and have never felt unsafe in this space. I'm close to 300lbs and the poles are verys sturdy, and the studio is CONSISTENTLY being cleaned.Even when it's super hard, the environment feels very welcoming and the instructors know what they are doing. I feel really supported by heartfelt and accommodated at all times.

Last year I did a pole dancing class for my bday and fell in love. While the studio was great, it wasn’t super convenient and I didn’t really feel like I belonged. Then my friend poleleopard told me about heartfelt studios and that it was opening right down the street from my work. So I thought what the heck, I will try it out. I felt immediately welcomed and comfortable enough to start to come out of my shell. I take conditioning classes and beginner level currently and the encouragement and kindness keeps me coming back. I look forward to many great things to come as I continue to take classes with all of the amazing instructors and students! INCREDIBLE space!! I was so nervous to try my first pole class but as soon as I entered the space, the teacher was so welcoming and took time to learn everyone's names and pronouns. The heels class was challenging but again the teacher took the time to make sure everyone was caught up to speed. I've never felt more included and welcomed in a space than at Heartfelt. Vinny truly puts his whole heart into what he does and cares about the community he's building. Columbus is so lucky to have this studio!

As for pole, the instructors are amazing in their own practices but also amazing teachers. I've been in the pole and aerial community for awhile. I've been to every studio in the area, and many in and out of state, meaning I know what to look for in a studio. I was excited to see a new one pop up and visit. I truely believe you can learn something from everyone and was excited to learn from more people in the community. I visited the open house and took a flow class. This place was... a bit shocking to say the least. I take leaving a negative review very seriously and don't do it lightly, but I decided to give my perspective so potential pole goers can make safe, educated decisions. TL;DR. The intructors are positive and encouraging and the studio is clean and nice looking, but poles are unsafely rigged, of cheap construction, and none of the instructors are actually certified to teach pole. Both huge safety concerns. - Elaboration: 1) The poles feel hollow (these poles are not solid metal like standard poles, big yikes), spin only (even though static/spin hex joint poles has been standard since 2005, it's 2022 guys. Plus you physically can't do any dynamic or basework pole on spin, it's very limiting. Tell me the suits here don't do pole without telling me they don't do pole), and the rigging is exposed at the top and bottom, can I say yikes again?! And no cheap loose plastic at the bottom doesn't count as securings your rig. There's a reason why socket mounts are industry standard. I could definitely dent the pole if I threw something hard at it. **NOT SAFE FOR TRICKS**. 2) Certification ensures your instructors know how to SAFELY teach tricks, progressions, regressions, and know basic exercise science. Just because someone can do X thing doesn't make them good at teaching it. I don't think I'll be coming back; I really wanted to like this place I did, and there are some really talented instructors here from all walks of the dance world. But the studio is so ill equipped. Every other studio in Columbus, Cleveland, and most I've visited out of state uses Xpole certs. And this is the first studio I've ever visited that didn't have safe, industry standard, rigging and poles. Looking at the website, this appears to be a chain, not a dedicated pole studio. I'm not sure the company knew what were getting themselves into by trying to insert themselves into the pole world, all while obviously not educating themselves on it, which to be honest, as a member of the community, rubbed me the wrong way. If they fixed the glaring safety issues, I'm sure this studio has great potential. Regardless I'm excited for this place to introduce more people to the wonderful world of pole. 5 stars for the instructors, 1 star for the actual studio = average to 3 stars.

How special and important it is to have a space like this in Columbus, and what a great addition to the neighborhood. I did my first Pole Basics class and it was such a stress-free experience (mentally, physically I was very sore afterwards!) I think my favorite thing is that there are so many classes that I can be flexible between the AM and PM, since I work in the Food and Beverage industry- it can be tricky to do classes that only happen in the evening. But also having the pass really opens up your options between their 3 studios. Kudos to the entire Heartfelt Team, really excited about this experience.
