Goat Yoga, what a vibe! Lovely farm setting, goats were friendly and not afraid to get close, and the instructors did a great job of balancing yoga with time to pet the goats and made sure that everyone got a good amount of goat time. I brought my 9 year old son and he is already asking when we can go again. Highly recommend for adults and children, it was a really unique and joyful experience!

I have always loved doing yoga and I love goats too so what better way to spend a morning! The class was the perfect balance of yoga and engaging with the goats. I would highly recommend goat yoga to others and look forward to the next time I can attend a class!

Had a great time at goat yoga! Really appreciated the set up and being able to interact with the goats the entire practice. The teacher did an excellent job with adding in some mindful movements and also allowing the class to just relax and enjoy the space.

My 9 year old son has loved taking martial arts classes with Japheth for a number of years. I just can't say enough about Japheth's kindness, calm demeanor, solid leadership and sense of fun! He is a great teacher. In his classes, my son - who is more of a bookworm than an athlete - has found a sport which builds his self esteem, body awareness and athleticism!

My four year old daughter and I have done one in person private yoga session with Suzanne so far. I have also done one Zoom meeting with her as well. She is incredible!!! So wonderful and warm and great with children and adults! She is very intuitive and knowledgeable. We are so thankful we found her and look forward to many more yoga sessions in the future!!

Our school recently purchased a self-defense training package for students enrolled in the Homeland Security/Criminal Justice Program at Burlington Tech. Our instructor Dan exceeded expectations! He created a comfortable and engaging environment for our students and quickly adapted his teaching style to meet the needs of a younger audience. Dan is incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about his work. We are incredibly grateful for the opportunity to train with Dan.

I was connected with a young woman who comes to my house once a week and walks me through an hour of exercise, using the various weights and other equipment that have lain idle in my living room for many a year. My 7 year old son has been taking yoga for 3 years with Water & Rock. I can't say enough great things about them! Patient and kind instructors who have helped him gain confidence in his body. The class runs on Fridays and it's a terrific way to send him into the weekend. We also went to a goat yoga class. So fun!! Don't hesitate to take a class here, with or without, goats!

Kids Yoga and Martial Arts - My kids have taken yoga with Suzanne for about two years and just started martial arts with Japheth. They are fabulous instructors! My teen and I took a goat yoga class together and left in a seriously good mood! She did a little less yoga than me but that’s the okay! You’re welcome to sit on your mat and cuddle/pet/feed a goat if you want. Fun + therapeutic + judgement free + ADORABLE + one size fits all. How amazing is that? I’m looking forward to trying the other animal yoga classes with my other animal loving girls.

In June of 2019 Water and Rock Studio invited me and my goats (Contrary, Aura and Lodge) to participate in offering goat yoga sessions. My three goats are mature, relaxed and certainly do not jump. Japheth and Suzanne, owners of Water and Rock Studio, were not deterred. The cozy clean barn, beautiful tree sheltered pastures, expansive yard and wandering goats welcomed each person and assured them of a unique experience. The folks at Water and Rock Studio are dedicated to the services they provide, also caring for the farmer, animals and earth. We enjoyed the company of the folks attending the sessions, each person contributed to the socialization of the goats and for those of you who remember Contrary (aka Tiny Tim) she is gaining weight and thriving. Thanks a bunch, to Water and Rock and to everyone who helped make this summer so special. Best wishes from Ellie and the Goats of Contrary’s Whey Farm & Creamery.

I joined Water and Rock Studio just speaking with Japheth for our first phone consultation. He knows his stuff and has a friendly way of talking about Water and Rock. My main interest was the Krav Maga/self defense classes and I was very impressed with my first class. I was involved with martial arts for 15 years and it was nice to connect with that again. I've been continuing to go to the self defense classes as it is taught by skilled people and is an open, relaxed, and supportive atmosphere. Bravo, Water and Rock!

Went to a free class just to see for myself whether the review posted by Alexis Pell was accurate. She's either a liar or has a mission to dis the studio. It was spotless and Daria, my instructor was brilliant. Not only is she a professional Russian dancer, a terrific yoga teacher, but also a medical doctor. I think Google needs a policy regarding fakenews applied to fake reviews which should be deleted. I look forward to returning to Water and Rock Studio on a regular basis. Thanks for a great introduction!

the classes are excellent, the coaches help and motivate us to keep going, the schedules are good, the ease of choosing between different classes is a good option, totally recommended from the classes of self-defense to yoga

For 20 years I struggled with weight gain from hypothyroidism and gluten intolerance. I felt sluggish a lot of the time. I tried every weight loss and exercise known to man, to no avail. Then, in walked Japeth of Water and Rock studio. To date, working with Japeth weekly, I have lost ten pounds and significant body fat. I am on a healthy eating plan and a focused exercise routine. Most importantly my bp has dropped from 195/90 to 127/77. My ankles no longer swell up when I fly, which is frequent for my work. I am happier, more energetic and I feel younger.
