I started working out here a few weeks ago to try and tone and continue on my weight loss journey! Since being there, I’ve lost 10 pounds and I feel way more confident and determined than I even did before! I’m now 113 pounds less than when I started my journey and I think I can sufficiently lose the rest with this awesome place! The coaches are great and they helped me with form, support, and a TON of good energy! I definitely recommend Camp Rhino to anyone trying to achieve goals in a super fun and supportive environment!

I was so impressed with my trainer. She had an amazing understanding on how to adapt exercises for me. I have a bad shoulder that may need surgery and she knew just how to adapt for it. I am amazed at the progress in two months. Muscle tone, strength, and balance are greatly improved. This is the place to get it done. By the way, I am doing this at the age of 71! No excuses!

Camp Rhino has a great variety of functional fitness classes. It is accessible for everyone regardless of fitness level because the people are very welcoming and supportive. I love all the ninja warrior and obstacle equipment they have to practice on. It’s an adult playground! I highly recommend it.

It is purely by accident that I ended up at Camp Rhino/Boise. I never thought I was a CrossFit girl, especially at 60 years of age, but here I am over a year into this journey. The coaches are all so nice and very helpful. If there is a movement you can’t do due to restrictions, they will figure out something else that you CAN do. The people who attend classes at this gym are just the best….very friendly and welcoming.

I started Camp Rhino at the end of May with reservations. Having been to a few gyms before here I've had some not so great experiences with cocky people working there or just a dirty workout environment. Camp Rhino has absolutely blown me away with their facility and their coaches. You walk in and you don't get hit in the face with the classic "gym smell" of rubber and sweat and everyone there is so personable and friendly. I signed on for 6 weeks of personal training and my trainer Chris is amazing! The personal trainers plan your workouts to how you're feeling that day and around any obstacles you might be facing, whether it's injury or anything else. I am incredibly pleased that I decided to join Camp Rhino and can't wait to keep going!

This is not just a gym. This is a life transformation in all areas and not just physically. This gym has been my family for the past two years, they push me to push myself. have you heard of Camp Rhino Boise? or Rhino Crossfit II ? if you haven't then stop right right there and go google it right now! this place is amazing filled with amazing people that will help you succeed and be better then you were. only if you are willing though. nothing is free you'll have to sweat to earn your gold stars. you may earn some bumps and bruises along the way but hey that the price for success! the coaches are all amazing in their own way even Jenn has her dorkiness i mean she's pretty awesome. I never thought I would enjoy group fitness. now I don't see how I can go back to working out alone when all my friends motivate me to come everyday! come by and see them and us of course. we cant wait to have you join us at 5am boot camp and 6am crossfit! hope to see you soon :)

Excellent facility. I drive past other gyms to come to this one. Great place for those just getting into fitness all the way to experienced endurance/Spartan/TM racers. Has Crossfit/TRX/BootCamp, complete Obstacle Course training (OCR) facilities, and a Stretch room and classes. Physically large facility, even when there are multiple things going on it never feels crowded. Plenty of group classes to choose from. Kids/Teens classes available. Classes are available very early in the morning, mid-day, and into the evening ... very useful for those working non-standard hours or have to negotiate school times. Facility has open gym time available for all opening hours, even during class times. Dedicated staff available for personalized training, along with specifics like nutrition, recovery, OCR. Plenty of 6wk-style challenges for motivation. Encouraging staff and customers. There is a good reason Camp Rhino Boise has won the Best in Treasure Valley for the last two years.

By chance, I had a friend offer a free 6 week challenge registration to me. That's how my journey with Camp Rhino Boise started. I thoroughly look forward to going every day. It definitely helps your health journey when you want to show up and see the people you have gotten to know. There are so many different exercise options, that I know I won't get burned out on one particular thing. Most importantly, it's just FUN. So happy to be a part of the family.

Get comfortable- this is going to be a long review! I don't "write reviews," but my experience at Camp Rhino has been so unique that I can't NOT write one... I had an experience a few months back that forced me to look pretty hard at where I was in regards to my physical wellness. Prior to this experience, I was never- and I mean NEVER- into "the gym scene." I'd poked around a few different gyms over the last few years, but never committed to- or cared about- any stupid gym. After stumbling across a stupid Facebook ad, I decided to participate in Camp Rhino's 6-Week Transformation Challenge. I met with the owner and was immediately impressed with her honesty and her overall sharp mind and multi-faceted healthy approach to wellness. Had my first contact at Camp Rhino been with ANYone else in the gym, I would have been skeptical enough to walk away. I loved the structure of the 6-week challenge- respecting that I had to pony up and put some "skin in the game;" and loved that the owner is open about her own journey toward increased and sustainable wellness. After a couple of days of mulling it over, I opted to pull the trigger and participate in the 6-Week Transformation Challenge. I tried to hate it. I tried to hate the gym and the people and everything about it, telling myself that it was "just like every other gym" I'd looked into. I tried to convince myself that it would be full of conceited meatheads and competitive crossfit monsters... but they weren't having it! I kid you not the first day I went to my large group class (boot camp), the coach walked over to me and introduced himself, calling me by name. "Hi, you must be Warren. Welcome!" He then proceeded to absolutely kick my butt and put my poor, out-of-shape body through the ringer. I know that this incident alone doesn't make this gym all that special, but this IS an example of how the staff operates; and this welcoming, supportive approach is genuinely embedded in the culture. My small-class coach was phenomenal- delicately and professionally balancing pushing the small lot of her students to the limits and knowing when to pull back and modify our exercises as needed. My schedule for the six-week challenge was chaotic, and I was out of town for one third of the program. I was humbled that the owner was willing to make time to meet with me (not yet even a "formal" paying member) to work out the details necessary to provide me with a fighting chance to meet my fitness goals. Again, in and of itself, this experience doesn't make this gym "the best in the world," but taken in context and looking at the big picture, Camp Rhino's true colors were emerging. This is a gym where every employee I've interacted with is invested in the wellness of the members. I have not met a single employee at Camp Rhino who doesn't have my interests and my wellness in mind. I was fortunate enough to accomplish my fitness goal, and was shocked to find myself feeling sad that my time at Camp Rhino was coming to an end. Me? Miss a gym? What witchcraft had Camp Rhino cast on me?! One of the coaches challenged me to find a way to make Camp Rhino financially viable (gym memberships are expensive!) After another month of weighing my options and considering my family's financial situation, a situation presented itself and I jumped on it- committing to a full year's membership. I've heard from multiple Camp Rhino members that "this gym is unlike any other I've attended." Hearing it from one person, or maybe two, is easily written off. However, hearing it time and time again- from the owner to multiple employees to various members- and experiencing the familial, supportive culture for myself lend me to believe that Camp Rhino truly is a unique gym with a unique culture. I'm done looking at other gyms. I've found the perfect one!

I tried one of their classes and loved it. Pushes you past your comfort zone for sure which is what I loved. The only downside was that their free 6 week challenge isn't free when you sign up as you have to pay prior to starting challenge and then that rolls over, if you meet their criteria of accomplishments to- gym credit, memberships etc.... But overall I would totally recommend.

It took me 2 years of trying out gyms in Boise to find this place and I will NEVER go back to the crappy "big box" gyms. If the gym owner and trainers all know you by name AND your goals, you know you've found the right place. Camp Rhino is also cheaper and offers waaaay more than other cross fit gyms in the area.

Amazing gym. Trainers are wonderful, modify exercises to your needs. What sets them apart is the culture. Staff AND regular gym members encourage you all the way. Jenn’s boot camp class was awesome today! She really knows how to mix things up to give us a full body workout. What can I say…Camp Rhino has changed my life. When I started at this gym I had no intention of staying. CrossFit wasn’t for me. Thanks to the wonderful and caring coaches guiding me through my workouts, I can now do things I never thought possible. The people I work out with are amazing. Everyone is so nice and inclusive. We sweat together during our workouts and laugh a lot. I am approaching my two year anniversary at Camp Rhino. There are so many words I can use to describe how I feel since joining this gym….confident, capable, strong, and happy. I can’t recommend Camp Rhino enough. Olympic Lifting Class 02/11/23: Today’s class was a BIG class and Chris was able to give us all great feedback and help people one on one a little. I LOVE how he can watch someone lift and know exactly what adjustment is needed to improve the lift. I always walk away with something to work on
