Reviews of Miller Theatre
Ira Gershenhorn
Been here a few times. All good. This time got to sit on stage with performers.
Jim Sears
Nice venue, but we attended a concert with amplification that was poorly mixed. The vocalist was not properly balanced with the band.
Michael Clayville
Great venue with incredibly imaginative programming. The Composer Portrait series is a must-see.

Columbia University is so beautiful.
Enrico Zanardo
Nice theater affiliated to Columbia University. The acoustic is great and the space not too big.. I only wish they made more concerts because the season could be better
Patrina Huff
Nice small theater on the Columbia campus. Just off the 116th 1 line. Has a range of experimental and traditional offerings. Evening and afternoon shows.
LG Cox
Nice comfortable venue at Columbia U to hear accomplished American and international musicians play original music from jazz to classical and everything in between and beyond
Kris Harper
Mostly Columbia-affiliated concerts. Ushers are nice. Balcony has pretty good views, and the theater isn't huge.
Darren He
Poor acoustics for any kind of classical (or modern) music. Might be better for musical/voice-driven productions. Great student prices though.
B. Chandrasekaran
I'm a fan of the pop concerts at Miller Theater at Columbia University. They host avante garde musical artists and are free.

What you would expect from a small venue near a campus. No complaints, but doesn't stand out.

It really is a spectacular place for music and art performance lovers. Admissions are decently priced; and students only need $10 to see any performance. The busiest time is Friday afternoon between 1 and 6pm. The theater is closed on Saturdays and Sundays.
