Reviews of Arizona Broadway Theatre
Victor Mann
Merry Christmas, and thank you for inviting us to the Yelp Elite showing of Elf the musical at the Arizona Broadway Theater. A wonderful venue and the production that was full of Christmas cheer and holiday magic the theme is the idea of finding a place in the world where you belong. The story is about Buddy's struggles with being both human and elf, but he never quite fits in either. So, he goes to New York to find his real family and proclaim. "The best way to spread Christmas cheer is singing loud for all to hear." Elf is warm and funny great for all ages. Thanks again, Yelp, for inviting us.
Brittany Bryant
A great venue where there is no bad seat in the house. The dinner is served prior to the store starting which is great because it allows you to focus completely on the performance once it begins. The level of talent from the cast completely blew me away. I would recommend this venue to anyone looking for a fun night out!
Jana Tingom
Saw A Christmas Carol this past December and once again, a fabulous performance! Dinner beforehand was good as well. Looking forward to seeing The Wizard of Oz this summer!
Jamie Figueroa
This was my first time at this theater and it was great! I love the idea of dinner and a show! We saw SpongeBob the Musical and it was awesome!! The staff was friendly and the drinks and food were good as well! Thanks so much
Jason Loehnert
Arizona Broadway offers dinner and a show, or just a show option.
Theatre is small so there are no bad seats. All seats are at a table, which may be shared depending on the table selected and number of seats.
I had dinner and there are a limited number of items to choose from, and an up charge for some additional options. The meal was pretty basic, I had cornbread which was dry, a Caesar salad which included a lot of the core of the romaine bit a lot of the bright leafy parts, and fettuccine alfredo which was pretty standard with grilled chicken and not a lot of seasoning. Service was good, and our waitress was friendly. I was disappointed fountain drinks are not included in the meal, that is an up charge.
The production was good, easy to see and hear everything.
I felt the tickets were a bit on the pricy side for what you get. Especially when it includes a meal. For the extra you pay for the meal you could go eat someplace better before the show.

Really nice venue. Clean, great sound, staff is very friendly and accommodating. Saw my favorite band, Mick Adams and The Stones, Rolling Stones show and they were fantastic as always!
Elke Ream
My first time here and this was amazing. We saw A Christmas Carol and the performers were amazing. I was physically sad when it ended.
Elizabeth Mark
Got tickets from vet tixs. The kids and adults loved the show. Great music and cast.
Suki Raye
Attended the NAACP Sneaker Ball and had...well, a ball. Food was good. Service was great. Everything flowed well even with a play occurring at the same time
Sara Ramos LeTexier
I had the most incredible time seeing "Happy Days" the Musical 🎼 ❤️ Service is impeccable on all fronts and my favorite asset in this theatre is the Bar. The drinks are beyond fabulous. Don't miss out on trying the themed drinks! Honestly never had better cocktails 🍸 …
Katrina Light
Went to see SPAMalot for the matinee on a Sunday and it was perfect.
Real friendly staff, great set up and what I'd expect for a Broadway theatre. Didn't eat, but everything looked and smelled good. Ordered a drink from the bar and it was great.
Special thanks to the first responders and educator discount.
Tina Anderson
Went to see Spamalot. The show was excellent!!! The actors were top notch!!!Staff was very friendly. The food was good. Seats were very comfortable. Much more comfortable than watching shows in stadium style seating. Very impressed with this place.
Bonnie Zielke
I've seen two shows there now and the performances are always wonderful. The food is delicious and they have a great cocktail list. The staff are very kind. I can't wait to go back again!
Anthony Zielke
It makes for a wonderful date with my wife. They have two options for the show, either with our without dinner. We prefer the show with dinner. My wife had pecan crusted chicken while I had pesto fettuccine alfredo. The food was good, 4 stars, the staff was very courteous and helpful. The performance was amazing! We go to the theater for the show. That is the true joy and why ABT earns 5 stars.
Steven Easter
Very upbeat hosts for dinner, and it was a great show overall - excellent sound quality, good visibility to the stage (may need to adjust your chair angle for comfort), amazing set production & staging, loved the costumes, and of course great performance from the actors. While it was my first show, others tell me every show they produce is very well done.
Breanne Jojola
My husband and I attend a play here at least once a year but often more. The dinner and show tickets can be a little pricey but the performance is worth it ! They will sometimes have sales too where you can buy four pr six for a certain price. They have a small Encore Room there too that we have done murder mystery theatre at. I think those are with s separate company that partners with ABT though. Either way, great entertainment.
BrianD
Great show and service inside. May need to improve the bar service area as the girl serving didn't seem to remember orders and several guests had to repeat order before getting what was requested. Staff is friendly.
Elizabeth Evans
Just saw a lovely production of Mame. Very much enjoyed the live music; it was very well done. Great food service. Chad was our server and was very attentive and kind.
Mickie
I was there for a MTG, not a production, but did have a meal. Food was not as I expected...it was fabulous. This place appears to be a gem. I will definitely keep this mind when looking for the perfect venue for occasions.😊 …
Larry Przybylak
We have seen many productions here! Top-notch preformers and productions! The dinners and drinks are great too! A great date night option for all ages.
Shablie Garcia
Had a wonderful time again. This was my granddaughters first time and she was mesmerized! We will definitely be back. Great atmosphere and very organized. And everyone in the play has such great talent.
Edward Dunn
Went to see Spamalot tonight. Front of house folks (particularly Brittney) were very helpful and friendly. Wait staff (Savannah) was very attentive and on top of things. The food was very good. We had pecan crusted chicken and Alfredo chicken. Both dishes were uniquely prepared, but very delicious. The musical was fun and well directed. Kelly Mazzella who played The Lady of the Lake has a tremendous voice. Although all the actors were good and clearly having fun, Loren Stone as Patsey was exceptional. If all of the productions at ABT are of this caliber, they should have a very good season.
Seven of Nine
The actors who are cast are becoming better with each season. The Christmas Carol cast was great. Food was just as good.
Jan Palson
Great dinner theater. We saw spamalot and it was just terrific. Ordered dessert for intermission. From cast to wait staff it was all a wonderful experience.
Joanne Landry
Great venue to see a play and the food is very good. The place is not very big, so no matter where you sit you have a good view of the stage as the seating is tiered.
Don Rivas
Great show. Nice seats and the food is good. A really nice dinner theater.
Spencer Johnson
Nice atmosphere, excellent customer assistance. Parking was convenient. First time visit. Will definitely return.
Pita Kline
Great food since new chef David came on board excellent service lovely an caring staff was very patient an attentive to my family needs had a booster seat ready for our boy my family has an amazing night an show thanks Yu guys for being so awesome MAME was awesome we're ready for the next show..
Kim Slater
Fabulous show, savory meal, and an awesome staff. Everyone was so friendly, and the venue was very clean, updated, and beautifully decorated. Kudos to everyone!
Sherill Pierce
We went to see "Shrek the Musical" on the 17th of July. Staff are friendly and efficient, very accommodating. The actors did a really good job in the show. The music was amazing! I absolutely loved Fiona!
The food of course was good as well with themed drinks and food. We did have dessert but I forgot to take pictures. I had the chocolate peanut butter mousse cake with a Kahlua coffee, my daughter had a chocolate cake off of the children's menu, and my husband had the sugar free cheesecake. Good times were had by all.
Eric McCollom
Great meal and service to match. Very nice facility and I agree with a few other reviewers about not a bad seat in the house…..and we were seated in Tier F which is pretty far back. We saw Elf and it was outstanding. We were very impressed with everything about this place. We are long time season ticket holders at one of the best dinner theaters in the country, New Theatre, located outside Kansas City in Overland Park, Kansas. So glad we found this place.
Nick Johnson
Went here as a Christmas present from my in-laws and we had an amazing experience as a family. I would definitely recommend this place to all. We seen Elf and it was a experience of a lifetime. Great food and a amazing show
David Wilson
I grew up going to NYC theaters, we saw a Christmas Carol at Arizona Broadway, and all of the actors were just amazing, we loved it.
Karen Henry
One of the best! Great food, great atmosphere and an amazing show! It’s always a wonderful memory making experience!
Chelsea Tustison
I brought my 10 year old step-daughter here for some girl time, and we had an absolutely wonderful experience! The food is good, the show was great! There isn’t a bad seat in the place. The actors are mic’d so you can hear everything clearly. They serve dinner first and don’t start the show until after dinner is over, so if you are short on time, just order the theatre tickets. We had dinner and the theatre tickets, and it ran from 6:00-9:30 or so. We will definitely be coming back many times!
Chad Moore-Castro
We saw a murder mystery dinner. It was so funny! The pictures we got to take were to die for. The food was good too!
Kathy
Performance was awesome. The venue is awesome, but the way they seat the patrons was unacceptable. They were seating us with another couple at a SMALL four top table with complete strangers. They were eating we were not. They were sitting on opposite sides of the table so both sides were dirty with crumbs. We asked to have them clean it, instead they moved us to another four top. We sat at the front two seats, and to our dismay they brought another couple, to sit at OUR table. I felt bad for them because they were up against a wall with very minimal space. We at least could put our feet in the aisle. It was NOT a full house. We ALL could have had our own SMALL four top. There were several four tops open and several two tops open in the same level we were seated. If I should return, I will either reject the seating arrangement or ask for my money back.
Mark Viquesney
An intimate setting to enjoy a Broadway play and actually be able to clearly see the actors and actresses. A good place to enjoy dinner and a show. The lobby had plenty of areas to take pictures in with the show's poster.
beth nicol
Oct 2022 High energy cast for Spamalot... They put on a fun show
Kathy Trmpleton
Wonderful...had a great time...food was very good...performance was awesome.
Eduardo Herrmann
This place is Awesome. The performance is top notch.
Robin Parker Garcia
The dining menu gave many choices to experience from as well as desserts. The theater and musical, A Christmas Carol, was wonderful to watch.
Anthony Dodge
Arizona's Best Kept Secret! I can not believe that this place has been here for nearly 15 years and I had no idea! You can purchase tickets online or inside. The food, service and show was absolutely fantastic! Everyone needs to know about this place!😀 …
sam schil
Nice shows, but avoid the food when you can(not good, definitely not worth the $)
Dewey “AzDewster” Leitch
Always a great experience! Friendly staff, good food and amazing show. Thanks ABT
Pauline Christakos
Performance was Broadway quality. The food was absolutely delicious. Had enough food choices to please most everyone. Not overly crowded.
Elliott Mendenhall
Every show I've seen was amazing and every time I go the waitstaff is attentive and incredibly helpful, but the food is so bad that if the show and service wasn't so great I wouldn't go back. It's bland or gross or clearly cheap. Soup tastes like out of a can and pudding that tastes like pudding packs and even at its best it tastes like it's a frozen dinner. After my last experience I'm never going back for dinner and for a dinner theater that's a big factor in me going. They are lucky that all the staff and actors make up for it so much.
Kelly MurElly
We saw ELF and absolutely loved it!!
We also had dinner which was very good.
Kyle Croft
Such an amazing venue! Our waiter Carlos was AWESOME, the food was good, and the show (we saw SpongeBob the Musical) was absolutely incredible! Top notch talent, quality sets and effects, a totally professional production. Would 10/10 recommend to anyone who enjoys musical theater!
khartmann40
Had a great time watching Chicago with family. Great music, awesome singers, nice choreograph. Would definitely recommend.
Chyna M
The volume was too loud when soloists and duets were sung. Actors didn't open to audience when 2 were speaking together. Otherwise, excellent theater and talent. And food!
Susan VVW
Flashdance and cast were fabulous and lots of fun. The food was mediocre and the service declined as they cash you out before coffee and dessert. Had to fight to get a warm cup of coffee. Strawberry shortcake was most likely Sara Lee with the bad strawberries we all get at the store. Prime rib definitely not worth additional $15. We’ll just go for show in future. Too bad because enjoyed the atmosphere.
Tracy Terry
We have attended shows here for many years and always have an excellent experience! The shows are fun and entertaining! The food is delicious! And the service awesome! Definitely a must-go-to place!
Sheri Uher
Arizona Broadway Theater does a wonderful job at putting on our favorite musicals! It is a dinner theater also and the meals are most enjoyable! They do other types of shows also so please go and support them. You won't regret it!
Patty Vasconez
This place is a hidden treasure! The venue is welcoming and beautiful. The food delicious, the staff nice and friendly and the show awesome and entertaining. Highly recommend!
SamiSmilez
Amazing theater! Had a great time! Wish there were actual concessions.
Jeff Wilkerson
Still love going to ABT, but miss the orchestra. The new sound crew took forever to get the tape started for Happy Days, missed a lot of mic cues, and the volume between actors was all over the place. Also, it seems like the lights are shining more into the audience's eyes for the last 2 productions, makes it hard to see sometimes. Really hope ABT works out the bugs with this crew, as the acting, singing, and sets are still top notch.
Barbara Becker
My favorite place in the west valley. Saw Game Show last month and am looking forward to Happy Days next week. Go to ABT. It's an opportunity for great entertainment and a wonderful overall experience.
Jairo Almeida
Very good food and fun place to go to see a show like Broadway
Scott Conaway
Went to see Mamma Mia. The show was spectacular. I would have given 5 stars but I was extremely disappointed with my meal. I upgraded to the filet mignon kabobs. The marinade was overpowering to the point that the meat was almost inedible. All of the vegetables tasted of burnt oil. I am sure we will do a show there again but for the price we will eat dinner off-premise ahead of time and come only for the show
Nancy Oshie
8 of us saw La Cage Aux Folles today. It was fabulous! The shows is wonderful, so much talent! Music, dancing, singing and live orchestra. The theater itself is beautiful. We didn't get the meals, but I heard the food was great. We will be back! If you even think you might be interested in seeing a production, do it!
a62dave
We love going here for dinner and a show. Pricy, sure, but the experience is just so nice.
Dinner is optional - you can buy tickets for just the show for less.
mia molina
What I love about this theatre is that it is such a great hidden gem. It's fantastic for date nights, for going with theatrical friends or even enjoying by yourself if that suits your fancy. The food is great, the actors are fantastic and each show never ceases to amaze. I cannot wait to see their next shows.

We rented the Encore Room for my mother’s 50th birthday party, and it was wonderful! Phil Perry and his team at the Encore Room were absolutely amazing! Phil was extremely helpful and accommodating all throughout the planning process, and he was always timely with answering my many questions. The venue staff did an excellent job setting up on the day of and they went above and beyond serving our guests. The Encore Room is beautiful, spacious, and versatile and it worked out extremely well for our event. Everyone raved about the venue! I had such a pleasant experience working with Phil and the staff and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this venue for any type of event! My mother was blown away by her party and I know this venue and the staff were a major part of giving her an unforgettable celebration!
Adam Friedmann
Had a great time. Their production of Elf was fantastic and there is no bad seat in the house. I was impressed with the talent of the cast. The food on the other hand was not great. I do understand that it can be difficult to make good "banquet" food. Next time we go we will probably eat prior to the show.
Maryann Sacks
The show ( Flashdance) was wonderful! Unfortunately, the meal was awful. I had the stuffed eggplant which was salty and flavorless. People in my party had the chicken which was terribly dry. I would definitely go back to see more shows but would not purchase tickets including meals.
Chelsea Warren
I love this little theater. Whether you do dinner or just a show, it's a fun venue. We're excited for the 2022 season.
David Stander
The show was a lot of fun and the dinner was exceptional! Perfect date night...
bonnie robinson
The play was great (Elf). As far as the meal, we arrived at 12:05 pm and were seated right away and ordered. Our food arrived at 1:45 pm and the play was to start in 15 minutes. We received the wrong drinks, meals were missing parts, food was barely warm and the desserts were not good. Our server Jacky did the best she could and I gave her a good tip. If you are going for the play, go, if you are going to enjoy a meal also, don't.
HiEdie Creations
LOVE !!!!!LOVE!!!!! LOVE!!!!!!!! Diamond in the Desert!!!!!
Great experience. Love the productions. Food is wonderful and options are catered to the show you are watching. They have packages for multiple shows or you can just see one. The online ticket ordering is easy. If you do not find the date or seats you are looking for online please call them they usually have what you are looking for and will help you achieve your Broadway wish. Do NOT miss this place. It is truly a wonderful experience.
Terri Wall
It was awesome! The food and the service was outstanding. They really know how to treat people. The show was so fun and creative. We had such a lovely time.
Richard Gajdowski
This was the first time my wife and I have visited this theater. What a treat. We took in the New Year's Eve matinee performance of the Piano Men: Generations. A father/son duo covering Elton John & Billy Joel songs. Superb musicians!
The venue itself is an intimate size, with nary a bad seat to be had. Lunch consisted of chicken or shrimp salad, a dinner roll (or more if you asked), and a bottomless soft drink glass. It was finished off with a delicious key lime cheese cake!
The waitstaff were quick, courteous, & attentive.
The evening concluded with an "early" midnight countdown with hats and noise makers provided, to ring in the New Year.
We will definitely be back. There are some good shows coming up! Happy New Year 🥂🥳🍻
Amalia Schwerdtmann
Saw Chicago this afternoon. Lunch was fantastic and the service was wonderful. The play had great acting! Well done!!
Gary Sidora
Really enjoyed the Get a Clue dinner mystery theater performance here. Had a great time.
kenton daniels
Saw Chicago here last night. The food was amazing and served very quickly. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive.
The show was spectacular. I've seen full size Broadway shows that are not as good as the performances here. While the tickets and dinner are a little pricey this place is worth it!
Sandi Kyer
Another night at ABT, last time I had the salmon with a salad, this time I had the roasted vegetables on orzo. Neither disappointed. Both were very tasty. The staff was friendly and helpful but service was a bit slow. Guess trying to serve about 400 guest at one time is a bit daunting. I will be back.
Brown BearsTeacher
It is a small beautiful venue to see a show. The food was excellent as well.
R Lilia Maciel
Staff and performance were phenomenal! Great experience! Long live theater! 💖👏🎭 …
Shale J.
I loved it so much. So much fun and full of life!! Family friendly too!! I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a good time at a show!! (Also the food is delious!!)
Linda Patterson
Elf was one of the best! The cast were all amazing. Buddy did such an awesome job. We were highly entertained. The waitstaff were on the ball. Thank you Az. Broadway Theater.
Daniel Truax
Great local talent and unique experience. Dinner was good. The show "Flashdance" was fun. The only drawback was that we could hear the music/bass from the prom being held in their other room.
Lesley Clapp
Beautiful Christmas tree. Festive and fun show. Really put me in the Christmas spirit!
A M
We have such a great time every time we come here. The food is great and the performance is even better! We absolutely love the kid events also!
Bob Moberg
Really enjoy these shows.
Good food, but not great.
Great family entertainment!
Rob Silver
Very tasty dinner food. Excellent service. Show was very entertaining.
Jill D
The food was mostly good (rice was overcooked or something and ended up being more the consistency of mashed potatoes) BUT the show itself was spectacular! All of the actors did a great job and it was a really fun environment to be in. Would highly recommend this place, and will definitely go again!
Henry Rother
Show was terrific. Food and service excellent.
Linda Camp
Always a pleasure to see Darlene, lunch was great.
Looking forward to a show in the future!
Robert Foguth
Intimate theatre. Truly not a bad seat. We'll be going here regularly. Food and service is good, not great, but better than most dinner theaters. I have moderate hearing loss but had no issues hearing. Drinks were made well so I will make sure I try something different every time until I've worked my way through the menu.
stanley spears
Great Show, wonderful service and overall great experience!
Christi Kimbrough
Thoroughly enjoyed the Happy Days production. Excellent cast and their singing voices were great!
Joan Peralta
It is a great experience, the great food, dessert, service, ambiance, and above all, the talent. Wonderful actors, singers, and musicians!! We treated a group of friends for the Chicago event and they were so impressed and thoroughly enjoyed it. We just love the live shows. We've gone 3 times and planning for more.
Richard Hall
Amazing shows, friendly wait staff and great bartender. Come early and enjoy a cocktail in the lounge. They have a couple special "show themed" cocktails that are always good.
The food is ok. Not bad, but just ok. Nothing to write home about. I'm a season ticket holder and have had many meals here. Think Dennys or Applebee's. Not bad. Just not great.
The shows- AMAZING. Every show has been outstanding. The cast, the orchestra, the set. All are very well done! The shows and cocktails keep me coming back! It's worth the price! (I'd pay the price even if the dinner weren't included, the shows are that good)
elva Martinez
Everything was very good except for a waitress who got big actitud and she was stressed, the thing is when u work on this place no matter what u need have good attitude with the clients no matter how you feel and beside u need to smile all the time and tried the clients very good , for me was the first time going to this theater and with that impression I don't know if I'm going to come back again , if u have a hard day on my opinion don't show up at work ,
Amy Schugar
I played there and it is a fantastic place! Clean and a great staff!
Daniel Hughes
Great time and great food. Cast was excellent and funny. Will be back!
TanyaAyiyi Home Away From Home
The Show was Excellent and the Stage Setting was unusual..
The Musical effects and songs were very Original. The Acting was extremely close to the Movie. I loved It !!!!
Sarah Foster
We had a lot of fun at this theatre. Very friendly staff and the show was pretty good. Some actors were way better than others but all in all a solid show.
James Pautot
Great entertainment and the food is very good also.
Rita S
My family enjoys going to musical productions and Arizona Broadway didn't disappoint. We went for dinner and a show. The dinner was delicious. We saw Little Shop of Horrors and it was very good. We all thoroughly enjoyed. I can't wait to go back and see another production.
Josephine Karl
We have enjoyed every performance we have seen. Very professional shows and the menus are varied often according to the season or theme of the show. Great waitstaff and helpful box office assistants too. Highly recommend
Lyn Tyler
We saw Sponge Bob Square pants! It was delightful!! Truly for all ages. Actor playing Sponge Bob was so amazing!! Great job! Super fun!!
Benny Avila
We had appetizers and drinks before the show. Everything was awesome. Small portions but everyone enjoyed the food.
We saw Gypsy and the performance was excellent.
Joe Staton
Not a bad seat in the house. Professional productions. Great sound.
Maureen Kane
It was my son's birthday and he grew up with SpongeBob and we had a fabulous time it was a great show the food was excellent I can't say enough we definitely will be back
Joseph Formichella
Love the Arizona Broadway Theater! Saw "Elf"at Christmas, and it was outstanding. Last week we saw "Flashdance", and... well, not my favorite show. But the dinner and service was great. We'll be back.
Eileen Stephany
March 31st my husband and I attended the showing of Flash Dance. It was an outstanding production.
Carly Caviglia portrayed Gloria in the play. Her acting was suburb! We understand this was her first musical at ABT. We would love to see her come back and show us more of her talent in another production.
Randy Towe
The food wasn't that good. The show was bad. We've been before and the food and show were better. It was probably just a bad night. I will say the people that worked there were very nice and went out of their way to please us.
Lola Johnson
Been here many times. All shows have been great!! Awesome level of talent for each production. Food menu changes with the different productions. Dinner menu for Elf was not my favorite, but still good. Desserts were AMAZING! Since each row is raised, visibility is good from all tables. Definitely recommend for a nice night out!!
Teresa Halbert
New to ABT. Recently saw Great Balls of Fire and last night a dinner with The Flashdance show. Omg, I will become a season holder. Fabulous sets, singing, and top notch musicians. The dinner was very nice..4 entree options and priced just right. I highly recommend this venue.
Patricia M
Four us us went to Chicago. Two of us had seen it before in massive theaters. First time in Peoria and pleasantly surprised how small and quaint it was. Very nice set up you don’t need binoculars to see the stage. We arrived at noon and seated immediately. Bread was put out and our order was taken. The negative one star was we waited almost two hours for our meal. Braised Italian beef was 80% fat. The broccoli suffered a near death. No taste in the polenta but there was salt and pepper at our table. Orders were messed up. Salmon had no asparagus included. Only one person at our table had tomatoes in the salad. Long story short eat before you come here. And when our meals were finally delivered the lights went out lol. …can’t use your phone to see what you’re eating so it was a bad experience with the food next time we will just get tickets and bring subway in our purses and watch the crowd say “why didn’t we think of that”. 😁. Enough with the bad food! The actors were awesome and spot on. No one does this but I want to give a thousands thumbs up for the ladies that stood on the corners while the play went on. They had a frozen position with one toe one the ground and they never moved. Being in the military I was blown away I notice the little things and these ladies need credit!! Awesome experience overall!!
Diane Dudley
Just saw Chicago and it was fabulous! The singing ,costumes great.... I have been to dinner theaters before and was disappointed. I WAS totally surprised at how professional this show was. The food was good too.,I can't wait for Gypsy.
Chicago was my first time at this theatre and have booked 4 shows after seeing Chicago.
Elizabeth Illingworth
We went to see Chicago this past Saturday. These were tickets that we bought about 18 months ago to see the show but then the pandemic closed them. They kept in touch which was great and when the show came back they booked us again and our tickets were good. The show was really good and the food also. Would recommend anyone give the place a try
Vanessa McQueen
The Arizona Boardway Theatre is a great place to have a wedding. Phil the Event Coordinator really worked with us to give us the reception that we wanted. It really turned into a magical night. Everything from the set up of the room to the food it was amazing. And it is also affordable to fit into a wedding budget. Definitely recommend.
Demetria Andrews
Such an amazing play with such talented actors, dancers and singers. The food was great as well. I would huge recommend it!
Jamie Vilhauer
Ur staff member Sarah was friendly & explained how everything went making our experience fun we felt very welcome. Our server Amber was the best & we had such a wonderful
Denis Aseltine
Had honey glazed chicken for dinner and watched Happy Days. Very good time.
Linsy Steinke
Let me start with The Elf was a amazing and I would recommend to anyone! However the bar was a mess! They were out of water and our waiter whom we had no contact with actually walked out on the job. The manager seemed frantic and overwhelmed. I hope my next visit it will be less chaotic to get a drink let alone any source of water. Due to the front end I only have three stars the play alone deserves 5.
Mae Jauregui
I love love love the food that was served to us. I picked grilled salmon with apricot sauce with a side of wild rice and asparagus. Very delicious combinations I must say. The servers were just lovely as well. Very keen to our needs and the friendliest!
The show that we watched was called, "Guys and Dolls". Amazing actors! They all had a great voice and their acting was just very spot on. Will definitely watch another show and if you haven't seen one from here, you're missing out.
《Edit》
Went to another play of theirs and once again it was magnificent! Great show, great food, and great service! (Addams Family and Xanadu)
Brenna Greene
went for murder and a meal, loved it!! took my mother for her birthday, had a great time, dinner was delicious. very pleased!

Wonderful show and the food is pretty good too
Susan De Blois
Great venue. The quality of the productions is awesome. We are always happy with the shows and have been going for a few years now. We already have our tickets for next season.
Addams Family was hilarious. We had a group of six, ages 23 to 83, and everyone enjoyed it. I would definitely see it again!
Mary P
Show was excellent. Food was very good. Love having this dinner theatre nearby! We are season ticket holders & have been for several years.
Titania Quezada
My family attended ELF the musical. It was amazing!!!!! The food was delicious, we asked for more dinner rolls and they declined us, but overall it was great!
Marietta Raymond
The play was absolutely fantastic the setting customs everything I had ordered the beef short ribs and they were not good at all those two little pieces and they were really really fatty usually when I come there the dinners are always good I was very disappointed in that sorry I hate to complain about that. I am looking Forward to my next show that I'm going to. Marietta
william bird
Awesome theatre, practically no bad seats, you get the full experience visually and there are no issues hearing the performers no matter where you sit.
Bryan Miller
Absolutely enjoyed Spamalot. I kept laughing all the way through the show.
Gary Cook
Venue is great. Amost no bad seats. Price it right. Meal service has been hit and miss. Booking process is VERY disorganized and broken. Tried to subscribe online. The link is there. You can select seats and put the purchase in your cart. Then? Impossible and a waste of time. We bought tickets for 6 shows this season. One more to go. Going to skip next season and look elsewhere. Way too difficult to give them your money.
Tammy
My daughter and I just had dinner and saw Mamma Mia here. One of the best experiences we've had together for our mother daughter hang out time. The show was amazing! The food was really good. The wait staff was good. The actors were amazing. They even came out and danced in the audience at the end and did a meet and greet at the end. Very well done! Bravo!
Margarita Montijo
Amazing entertainment!!! So much fun for the whole family. Love ABT!!!!
Mark Sumstine
The show, Little Shop of Horrors, was underwhelming. I'll say the second half was more engaging and the overall sound was better. The sound was off in the first half and the lead male seemed miscast for the role. It was okay but not what I've come to expect from ABT.
Server was great, attentive and kind. Appetizer was great, meal was overcooked.
Mark Arrowood
Lunch and show with family, great, now 3 times getting season tickets all good
Christine McNutt
The food was scrumptious and The Christmas Carol was delightful!
Michelle Couture
So much fun, the food is always delicious and the performances are beautifully produced. Chicago was mind blowing this year! Elf the Musical was so fun I saw it twice!
Nick Peterson
We went here many years ago. I remember the performances were very good but the food was lacking. Not sure how it is setup now but you were surrounded by other people at your table which was a little bit odd if you came in a smaller party but was always a good time!
Linda Kennedy
The performance was good. A little hard to hear over all the people in the room, the acoustics are not great. We were there for mystery dinner in the Envore room. Polterheist. The food was not great. The corn muffins and biscuits were hard as hockey pucks. You seriously could have used them as a weapon. A small salad with no choice of dressing it was ranch for all. The main course was tiny, more rice and small amount of what I thought was tandoor chicken. Heavily spiced. Desert was a cannoli which was sub par. I would not spend $50.00 again for it.
Michelle Morgan
Show was good. Food was just okay...chicken cordon blu, needed more sauce...wasn't very warm. Skimped on the veggies and again not very warm.Service was okay...they are still short staffed. Hopefully the food improves.
Jenn L
The show was amazing (Sweeney Todd) and the actors were fantastic. The time flew by, it was hard to believe the show was over two hours. I would easily go to another show again. The staff was great and enjoyed the drinks. As far as dinner, we had the upgraded entrees and weren't that impressed. The food was decent, but not amazing enough for the price. Next time, I'd probably skip dinner and stick to an appetizer and the drinks.
03amjennings
High quality actors, stage and dinner was great too
Shirley Difilippantonio
Gypsy the play was good. Dinner was excellent except for did not get a appetizer they were out. It was a fun night with friends.
Cynthia Pastula
My granddaughter and I enjoyed "Mary Poppins" at Arizona Broadway Theatre. The performance was outstanding with talent to support it.
Our meal was very good. The shepherd's pie was flavorful without being too salty. The best dessert at our table was the Penguin Cake with chocolate, cheesecake and more chocolate.
The servers were pleasant and courteous tending to our every need. Our evening was delightful from start to finish.
Janet Bree
Great experience, fun show with excellent cast. Efficiently run, just the right amount of guests for the size of theatre. Will definitely go again.
Louie Lyon
The food service was outstanding but our chicken dinner was MOST DISAPPOINTING. It was over cooked and the portions were really small. Not the kind of meal we had there in the past. The play, Godspell was outstanding and made up for a disappointing meal.
Linda Neville
What a wonderful Sunday! The cast was a delight throughout the show. Energetic, talented, and just a pleasure to watch. We will be booking our next visit this week.
Tabitha Bouchard
The place is a wonderful experience worth every penny
Crystalyn
Great Shows! Food, Service, Acting is all superb 👌! …
Jo Hoffman
Go for the entertainment, but skip the meal if that is an option. The shows are still first class.
Debi Betts
Such a great experience! Dinner and a show, both were wonderful. Definitely going again!
Daniel McCarthy
Great Job with Spongebob! Order the krabby patties best food. Don't need to show up early. Impressed.
Jon Lindell
Extraordinary performances and casting. The food is usually excellent and the service is great. While the new seats are comfortable, they are bigger than the previous seats leaving not much room to move during dining and the show. This made it a little uncomfortable but the house manager accomodated us by allowing us to relocate. I expect in the case of a sold out performance this wouldn't be an option.
Karen
Loved the Mama Mia show. So well done and fun. There is so much talent in your cast. I would have given 5 stars( wish there was 4.5) but our meals were lacking this time. The Greek chicken was ok, the broccoli was very peppery and the wild rice was lacking seasonings. That being said we have seen several shows in the past and had excellent meals.
Felicia
What a great night! Dinner was tasty, seating was comfortable, and the play was fantastic. So much talent! Blown away by this little venue. Will return for sure.
J K
Much better then I had initially expected. I have a 6yr old girl & 10 yr old boy and we went with grandma. The whole family had fun! The performance was excellent as well as the food! It does get pricey if you upgrade from the standard dishes to choose from off the menu that are included with the initial purchase. We will go again!
Michael Pawloski
Great date place for all ages. It's beautiful inside and the dinner and a show ticket is the best way to go. Of course you can upgrade your dinner to one of their fancier meals but the stuffed chicken I ordered was amazing enough and very filling. They take your dessert order before the show then serve it to you during intermission which was a nice break.
Kathleen M
LOVE. THIS. PLACE. !!!!!
If you love musical theatre this is a MUST! If I lived in AZ, I would be a subscriber. We come when we visit. All shows have been amazing! Definitely a must on NYE! All family friendly.
The productions are Broadway quality in every way! I love that they have youth and teen training programs.
The food is fantastic. They were able and willing to accommodate my food allergies. And the cocktails are delicious!
This is an easily accessible venue, if you have a wheelchair, walker or knee scooter.
Be sure to put this on your “to do” list the next time you’re in AZ!
Rickey Montezuma
Great show and the chicken Alfredo was delicious
Ken Koenen
Great performance of Mary Poppins. It's a wonderful dinner theatre. Every performance I have seen there has been exceptional.
Tonight I saw Great Balls of 🔥 Fire. Some great 50s and 60s Rock n Roll music.
Michael Koo
Quality professional theater experience. Sure it's not Broadway in terms of scale but it is without a doubt just as entertaining and enjoyable. Unique night out experience right here in the Valley including dinner, cocktails , and live entertainment.
Alan Paulson
We absolutely loved “Little Shop of Horrors!”
“Audrey” was sweet perfection, and WHAT A VOICE! The dentist was HILARIOUS, with more amazement and laughs piled on top with all of his characters and instant costume changes! Pure Joy! Congrats, ABT❤️‼️
Anthony Jordan
Saw Saturday Night Fever. Girlfriend and I had a good time. Fantastic show, great music. Table layout is also great, no bad seats in the house. Overall a cool place to visit. My dinner experience was not positive. My chicken dish had scents of shellfish/seafood which I can't eat. Will return for a show but will skip dinner.
Daniel Elmer
Great food and a very enjoyable show
Beth Diaz
We saw the production PETER PAN tonight and it was an incredible performance! The cast was unbelievably talented. The acting, singing, music, dancing- everything drew us into the story which was exciting and funny. The kiddos in the audience loved it too!! The menu had a lot of selections and my meal was really surprisingly good. We had a really great time and will definitely go back again!
Bobette Campbell
This is an intimate theater experience where they match the menu to the show being performed. The food and service are excellent. The production value of the shows is top notch. As with any musical theater some of the shows are very appealing and some are not depending on your own likes and dislikes but all are well sung whether it is the type of musical you like or not. We are so glad we have become subscribers.
Mary Hall
Show was really long, but good. Also, music too loud, couldn't hear all the words of the songs sometimes. But all in all, very talented actors!!!!
Diane Melillo
The actors were good, but the show itself was mediocre. Dinner was just okay, and the price did not include a lot of things, like drinks, dessert, upgrades to the menu. Kind of pricey for what we got. I will go again, however, hoping to see a better show. We saw Xanadu.
Joan Thain
A lovely evening out. Everyone was very attentive and making an extra effort to everyone feel welcome! The performance of Urinetown was most enjoyable, lots of energy and humor.
Patricia Gonzales Realtor
Very nice venue. Saw the Broadway play Bridges of Madison County which included dinner. The play was
3 hours and we had 1 inter-mission.
The crowd is a much older group, but still enjoyed my visit and would do it again. I highly recommend!
mark smith
Absolutely one of the best performance locations. Dinner and a show always a great time. Beautiful location Great performers very interactive staff. We have seen 3 different productions and have not been disappointed with anything. Seating options allow for full stage view from any location. Recommend for entire family.
Cynthia Reinke
Good food, Good service, & the show was very good
Mandolin M
We always enjoy the show and the food here! The coffee is actually pretty good and the desserts are always great. I almost never upgrade because the food that's included is so good. The shows are excellent quality and if you stick around afterwards you will have a good chance at meeting some of the characters. I recommend an extra bathroom break because there'sb no sneaking in or out and you'll miss a good portion of the show. Every seat in the house is good but I like somewhere around row 3-4 center. Parking is easy and the traffic is so easy to work with afterwards compared to gammage. The cost is reasonable too especially if you book early.
Dolores Damian
Really cool theatre.
You can buy tickets for the show and they have tickets for the show and dinner.
People dress up fancy here. Didn’t know what to except.
The actors are really good.
Bonnie Allen
My first experience with the Theatre is when my nephew and I attended the production of Beauty and The Beast. We had an outstanding experience! Our meal, drinks and service was 5 stars! The play was 5 stars! We had a positive experience and established great memories. When we heard Mary Poppins was coming, being HUGE fans of Mary Poppins, I bought tickets immediately remembering our past experience. The Theatre and staff do an amazing (5 star) job! The food is outstanding (5 star). I will say though, the play of Mary Poppins was disappointing. Everyone comes in with the memory of the movie and story line. This play did NOT follow that story line. It was dark, scary and a bit confusing. We had to go home and watch the movie to feel better about our beloved Mary Poppins cast. I hope Mr. Van Dyke doesn't attend this play, it will disappoint him as well.
Dennis Sullivan
Good food and professional theater are a great mix. She had Mediterranean Chicken Breast with wild rice mix and broccoli. I had a fancy Baked Salmon steak. Jessica and Francisco took great care of us and we both enjoyed our dinner. But the highlight of the evening was the live play, this time it was Mamma Mia with a wonderful cast. Dinner theater makes for a special evening.
Amber
I've been here three or four times. I highly recommend the dining experience. When I call on the phone, sometimes a cranky guy answers. But when I'm there in person the entire staff is SO friendly, so I've never had a bad experience when I actually arrive. I highly recommend this place for a nice anniversary dinner. Very romantic.
Parents should know that the experience is long and goes very late. I would take a mature 5+ year old, but I was glad I didn't take my 3yo (even though she loves beauty and the beast). Several children in the audience did fine, but I noticed the 4yo nearby was struggling near the end. It's a long time for ME to sit still. But I'd love to take my daughter as soon as she can sit still and stay awake from 5:30pm to 10:30
Rick Amimoto
The show was great. Staff was good, but the food was not good. I ordered roast beef, mashed potatoes, and broccoli. The broccoli looked aweful. It was all brown and yellow. Not the kind of quality we are used to. After dinner had an upset stomach and ran to the restroom. Not a good night.
Lee Cobb
Great venue. I don't think there is a bad seat in the house. Waitstaff was friendly and attentive. The chicken marsala was a bit chewy, but otherwise flavorful. Saw Elf and it was simply great.
Arizona Auto Refrigeration
I have been a season ticket holder since season 1 and have seen some great shows. Catch Me If You Can is certainty up there as one of the most fun. What a perfect cast. I will see it again for sure. If you want good clean fun do not miss this show.
Geoff Elledge
I've been there several times over the past few years for dinner and a show. Tonight's show was an American in Paris. I was beyond pleasantly surprised that the cast had strong singers and dancers and a larger ensemble than expected. The sets were top notch. some really great singing performances. It's probably the best regional theater show I've been to. it's hard to go wrong with Gershwin but the quality of performances was for about what you would expect in dinner theater. Speaking of which dinner was very good to know complaints if you can score a deal on travelzoo for half price it's absolutely an enjoyable evening out.
Ellen Fitelson
We have seen many shows and have not been disappointed. The performers are energetic and professional. We especially love greeting them after a show and they appreciate our support. Kudos to all involved.
Kris M. G.
Always entertaining, Friday-nights are the best as you get an additional show by the cast. Food is good, servers are great and the bartender was friendly. Been there several times and HIGHLY recommend the experience for a different kind of evening out.
Cory Rade
I booked the Encore Room for my wife's 50th Birthday party. I could not have asked for a better venue. The staff, the food, the management and the venue were all amazing, super accommodating and helpful. The price was beyond reasonable and I would have paid 2x as much for the experience.
I highly recommend shopping around for a venue and you will quickly see how great the Encore Room at the AZ Broadway Theater would be for your event.
Sharon Mahan
So happy to be back at ABT. Just wish the former chef staff returned. Food has a lot to be desired but the play makes up for the not so good food.
Michelle Silverman
Best place to see a show and enjoy amazing food! Staff has great customer service making it a special night out. The talent in every show I've seen is just unbelievable, it's definitely worth the drive!
Jan Sargent
We have been enjoying theater performances at AZ Broadway Theater for many years, and we have always been very happy with the quality of the shows. The actors are not just local talent. They come from all over the US, and each one has years of experience. Even the child actors are amazing!
The food is good, but not excellent. The wait staff has always been top-notch, and I waited tables in my younger years so I am very observant and I notice all of the little things they do.
Scott Seago
Fun, good service and food is a ok.
Great for sate night or a party.
Curtis Nielson
We have waited so long for ABT to reopen. We went tonight to see " Home for the Holidays". It was great. Loved how one song lead to another. My favorite was O Holy Night by Jamie Parnell. And the group of them closed with Silent Night. The harmony brought tears to my eyes.
The theater has done a wonderful job being Covid compliant.
Thanks for a wonderful evening.
Valerie B
The dinner was fabulous! But the az kings family was absolutely fanastic.love the jazz and 50 to 60 band music brought alot of wonderful memories! Thank you !
Susie Williams
Went to see Oliver! Great theater with good sound. Difficult to arrange your seat after eating so that you aren't having to twist your neck and back the whole show. Servers were attentive and helpful and food was pretty good, but heavy on the sauces.
Marylou Powell
Showboat was fabulous. The gentleman who sang Ole Man River was phenomenal. Having said that, the food today was terrible. The chicken and vegetables were barely edible. The lentil soup was too spicy to eat. I'm very disappointed because when I visited a year ago and saw Camelot, the food was delicious. I hope when I come next year, I will have a better food experience.
Julie Rowles
I love love love this place! My family and I always go there for special occasions or just great shows. We probably go around 4 times a year. They always have such spectacular food. Like other reviewers, we always splurge on the dessert. I'm going to see Grease this weekend and couldn't be more excited! Our favorite show so far has been La Cage and my parents are looking forward to the Odd Couple, too. I'll be taking them for their anniversary!
Great experience every time. Love taking newbies to the theater. I live in Tempe and drive all the way to Peoria/Glendale to visit.
Sandy Ehler
What a wonderful opportunity - meal and a theater production for the cost of one ticket!
Staff are professional and customer oriented.
Menu options to match the production are entertaining and the food has been exceptional. Not always easy to do in large venue.
Theater production is spectacular from interesting sets to the high quality of actors chosen for the roles.
Highly recommend.
Paula Gionet
My 13 year old granddaughter is a huge fan of the 50's and 60's. We saw SHOUT. Great show great venue. Felt good to get out and enjoy a good show and good music safely.
Dodie Ledune
We saw Sweeney Todd. The show, actors and set seemed like they had a larger budget than what I would have expected. Theater has great ambiance. The food was just ok especially for the price. I didn't even eat the bread pudding because it was drier than it should be. I'll def be back for the exceptional shows but will prob just have drinks from now on.
Kathy Vail
Love stage productions. This one had some gorgeous voices! The gentleman playing Emile has a tremendously powerful, rich, deep bass voice, and his female costar was equally talented with her pretty soprano voice. The woman who played Bloody Mary was another superb voice!! As a dinner theater, it is as nice as any other dinner theater I've enjoyed. I had a large spinach salad, which was excellent. Others at my table ordered different items and all enjoyed their meals. The wait staff were on their toes all evening, rushing to meet everyone's needs and fill all orders. Lastly, the coffee was wonderful!! Highly recommend.😊
Janet Robbins
Always have fun! The food is just average nothing that ever wows me. The performances are top notch so it makes up for the lack of food quality. You can upgrade your food but I've never spent the extra $69 to do it. I imagine it's still prepared ahead of time like the rest of the offerings.
Thomas M. Manson
Great show and tasty dinner with friends. Good times.
Shearon Newland
It was quite disorganized Saturday night
But the Calamari was delicious!!
Wendy Engel
My husband and I saw HAIR last night. It was FABULOUS!!! Dinner was GREAT.
We are definitely becoming season subscribers for ALL 8 shows. I had seen SHOWBOAT last month and it too was AMAZING. Everything from the acting, choreography and the sets are first quality.
Judith Browning
Always a pleasant night out with friends..amazing voices of everyone in the ABT cast
Tammi Jones
My daughter went to day camp here, and was in a play. It was a wonderful experience. Before this, we went to the play, Beauty and the Beast. I never expected that kind of quality in their performance. It was jaw dropping. The dinner served during the performance was outstanding.
Lisa Seto
This year's Christmas presentation was amazingly good. Enjoyed the delicious chicken dinner as well. This is our 3rd annual Christmas dinner show. We would highly recommend this place.
Tom Wells
Enjoyed Spamalot alot! Had a great afternoon!
Sydney Ladd
Great food, service, and I loved the theatre show. We saw Mary Poppins and the actors were great! Considering going again, but it was a little long. We went at 7:00 PM, and got home around 10:00 at night. I guess that only applies to the show you're seeing.
Kimberly Miller
Awesome performances, (love the dancing) along with lunch/dinner, dessert and drinks. Wait staff are great with attention to detail! They even refrigerate your leftovers. The lime dessert was amazing!
Marla Groethe
The whole experience was wonderful. Small, intimate setting, tables set up for dinner and then you watch the play from same seats. Appetizers to die for, main meal good, service great. Lots of small touches that really made it special such as a professional picture with some of the cast at the beginning (and given for free at the end), bag of awesome homemade chocolates on table for each person, vases of roses with diamonds EVERYWHERE. The play was Mel Brooks musical comedy very funny. It was opening night for this play so they even had an after-play party. I highly recommend this place!! Very enjoyable.
Pat Turocy
The show (Sweeney Todd) was great. The food was so-so. My salmon was over cooked and dry, but my husband's ravioli was good. I think next time we'll skip the meal.
Dava Esman
Excellent talent on stage but not in the kitchen. We saw Man of LaMancha and the production was great. The venue is lovely, service and house staff excellent, but we had seats along the back wall and could not see the stage over the foursome in front of us. The food was awful. Served lukewarm, veggies overcooked, salmon inedible. Even the coffee wasn't hot. Won't go back.
Jill McCartney
Saw "Catch Me If You Can" and it was wonderful. The foods included in the ticket price were good quality and the service was great. The theater itself was very pretty and laid out well. Parking was plentiful and it is an easy place to find. I can't wait to go again!
Suzanne Duncan
Wonderful play, great dinner and a wonderful atmosphere. I love coming here when I'm in town.
Carlos Montero
Took my teenage daughter and her friends for a show here tonight. We had a great time, and the show was fantastic. Definitely recommend!
Consuella Raes
GAME SHOW is a MUST see ! I went tonight with my family and it was like traveling back to my childhood . Please bring this back yearly !!!!!
Ashley Duncan
Can not recommend this theatre enough, from the desk help (in person or over the phone) to the wait staff (sit in Stuart’s section, he’s amazing) to the shows (the acting! The costumes! The sets!) there has never been a bad moment. The stellar customer service is just the tip of the amazing iceberg.
Novelette7 Morris
AZ Broadway Theater is your best hidden secret. This place is elegant, staffs are very friendly. I recommend this venue 100% to anyway who is looking for a cool place to host an event. My event was very successful, service was top-notch. Will definately use again and again.
Nobodyfromnowhere
Love this place but the last time I went I found out that my favorite server was no longer there for a few years now. He was a young, extremely handsome, Tall, strapping young man by the name Andrew. He was blonde and highly intelligent. Any woman would be lucky to have his presence. He by far made me laugh harder than any Dave Chappell show I have ever been to and made my experience wonderful. When I sleep I dream of him nearly every night and yearn for the warm bright smile and light green eyed angel of a man to grace my presence at least one last time. If there was ever a man that could reel in the moon and stars it would be him. Andrew H if you are out there please come to me and fulfill my dreams.
Jack Dunning
We attended "Young Frankenstein" last weekend, and it was awesome! The production, the actors, singers, dancers, the orchestra ... fantastic! We've always loved the movie, and your production did not disappoint; it rocked! And meeting the players after the show was a particular thrill for us. Thank you for a wonderful evening! We'll be back for another show!
Jack and Barb
Celeste Gowen
Wonderful dinner. Wonderful play! Atmosphere is very nice.
Mark Davis
The Arizona Broadway Theatre is a smaller venue just east of the 101 exit for Bell Road. My approach was from the P83 area east on Paradise. Parking was conveniently adjacent to the entrance and well lit.
You don't show your tickets when you enter the lobby and there you'll find a bar, bathrooms, and ticket windows. There was only one bartender on duty the night I was there and the line for beverages was pretty long. The prices seemed in line with other venues.
We elected to do the dinner prior to the show. Our seats were near the stage and we were seated by an usher. I'm a big guy, 6'2" and 240 lbs and I found the ability to maneuver between our table the people seated at the table next to us to be difficult. Once the show started, this could be an issue.
The servers were top notch, above average. "dinner" include soup or salad, plus an entry level entree. For additional funds, you could get an appetizer, desert, and an upgraded entree. We skipped the appetizers and ordered our meal. I selected the soup whilst my spouse selected the salad. Both looked good and I can say that my soup was excellent.
My entree was salmon, which was very good. The vegetables were passable, but overcooked. My spouse said the chicken was very dry, which was echoed by friends at the table. We did get desert, which was served at intermission.
The show was excellent and very professional. The staging and lighting were also great. My only issue was the closeness of the tables, which prevented me from being able to turn to see the stage fully. That aside, I wouldn't hesitate to return for more shows!
Kirsten Boyd
Food was wonderful. service was excellent. You can never go wrong ordering the salmon. Queen Nation tribute band was absolutely amazing. . I've never attended a bad show at ABT.
Ann Turpin Thayer
I've been many times. Food is very good and the shows are very professionally done. Last night's South Pacific was outstanding. The voices were excellent. No need to go to New York to see a Broadway Show!
Alex Ford
They were great. We were there for opening night of the miracle on 34th street and they knocked it out of the park. The staff was nice and prompt, and the food was amazing! Above all, upon request they made a surprise cake for our grandparents' 60th anniversary and brought it out for them during intermission. Awesome!
Phyllis Borchardt
Just returned home from the first concert in 7 months, tribute to Andrew Lloyd Weber, Music of the Night. The talented performers exuded energy and enthusiasm with the opportunity to perform for a live audience. What a perfect night out after our months of "house arrest."
James Schmitz
Fabulous!! Everyone should visit a real musical production or play that's performed by rising superstars!
The food and server's are delicious and entertaining. Karrissa and Lindsay were warm, friendly, and the perfect serving partner's.
We hope to return soon for a great evening out in Phoenix!
Fatima Oliveira
The food is decent, we took Chicken Tikka Masala. The play is fun, Chicago is playing, but the chair is so uncomfortable for 5 hours sitting (dinner and play)
Bianca Rios
I took my son and nieces to see A Charlie Brown Christmas. It was so cute. The kids loved it. The show itself was funny. I liked how the characters took time to take questions from the audience. Would definitely go again.
Amber Dodds
The murder mystery theater is what we've gone here for. The food and staff have been amazing every time. The productions are fun and well done.
Eileen Haberstroh
Enjoyable evening out with friends! Food and service were good and "murder and a meal" was a laugh.
Maria Arpin
Dinner theater! First timers here to see "South Pacific". You can opt to see the show only but I recommend the dinner combo. We sat with very friendly people at a table for 6 and enjoyed a wonderful dinnee before turning our chairs to enjoy the show. It is a fave spot for the senior crowd and hearing assisted devices are available. The staff tries to accommodate any request you may have. The performance was professional and uplifting. A touch expensive but worth the experience. Parking is EZ. The restrooms were immaculate and drinks were tasty!
Lael Rogers
My friend invited us to see a play here. I'm all the way from the other side of the valley so I was a bit hesitant to go because of the hour or so drive. But when I got there, ABT did not disappoint! My girlfriends and I arrived at 12:30 so were can have enough time to catch up. Once we sat down, our servers started us with our drinks and bread, corn muffins & butter. The latter was so good that we probably asked for two or three refills lol. Then our second course came out- salad and soup, yum!!! Shortly after, our entree came out. We ordered steak, salmon, and chicken so we can try each other's meal. Of course, the entrees were fancy named and so befitting because they were all delish!! Then ABT made an announcement that the play was about to start at 2pm. The first act was about 1.5 hours long. And during the intermission, we had our desserts. One could order wine or cocktails, but our group didn't. Then the second act started and finished around 4:30ish. We watched "Guys and Dolls" and it was just fabulous! The set was gorgeous and well made. The actors and actresses were superb and the sound in the theater was impeccable. It wasn't too loud nor inaudible, it was just perfect!! It was my friend's first time to see a musical and after that, she was hooked so much so that we went to see "The Addams Family" musical just recently. This time, I brought my 14 year old daughter and her friend. They loved it!! And for our second time there, it was as perfect as the first time. We took pictures with the cast and had a ball. I love ABT, my girlfriends love ABT, and my daughter loves ABT. We're looking forward to see more shows and I'm so thankful that my friend invited me to join her. The experience is definitely worth the drive!
Rachel W
The productions are usually top notch but the food is usually a hit or miss. Saw Mama Mia the $10 hummus appetizer was top notch. The chicken dinner was ok rice bland not as good as it could of been but not as worse as I've had in the past and the Georgia cake was very dry and lacked taste. I wasn't pleased that I paid $8 for it. I had clearly been sitting out somewhere and that was not impressive. The mixed drink I bought was much better. Voule Voi I think it was called. That was worth $8. Over all go enjoy the show enjoy the great wait staff but don't go for the food.
Ken Komadino
This place is wonderful and perfect for a date night. The food is wonderful, the atmosphere is great, staff is friendly and knowledgable. The best part the plays put on leave you wanting to come back for more. Highly recommend.
Pazdel Sol
We love this theater. It is small enough to be intimate but large enough to put on wonderful musical events. The food has never disappointed us. If you have a chance to experience it, it is well worth the cost.
Patricia Bettles
What a wonderful experience. Great show and great dinner. Beautiful location with great service. We will be back.
John Zahnen
My wife and I went to the Producers last night and the play was excellent, the food however was not very good. We had a house salad and beef brisket. The salad was just some lettuce on a plate. The beef brisket was tender but was bland and the potatoes were not good. I would advise against ordering the house salad and beef brisket.

Show was fantastic as usual. What wasn't usual was the food. Chicken marsala with vegetables was blasted with pepper. The children's food was dry and stale. The desert was inedible.for all four of us. My wife sent her chicken back. I unfortunately should have done the same thing. Her replacement, salmon was so so. This is not our first experience with ABT. Seen many shows, Adams family, Camelot, to name just two. We took our granddaughters for the experience and even they were disappointed. Probably won't be going for dinner anytime soon. Don't even get me started on what our waitress said.
Derek Altamirano
We have been here three times so far, the first for "The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas", and the others for "Rock of Ages"; we liked it so much the first time we brought my Mother-in-Law to see it. I am very impressed with the quality of the stage, props, costumes and cast. Everything is top notch, and there is no lack of talent.
Personally we have never had dinner here however we have had dessert and appetizers. The appetizers have always been tasty, but fair warning the portions are what I would consider small so order accordingly. The Chocolate Mousse was really good, the lemon cookies we had last time were also great; the others we have tried were good but not "great". That said we've never been disappointed. Just so you know, the serve dessert during the intermission and there is no wait service during the show. We ask for a water pitcher for the table. :-)
Honestly though food aside the performances and staff service are great, and it is well worth you time to see a show here. The chairs are not uncomfortable at all, which is a little surprising given you are sitting in restaurant style chairs.
There is really only one thing that keeps me from giving this venue 5 stars. I've seen other reviewers state that there is not a bad seat in the house. I actually disagree with that. All of the two top tables are NOT against a railing, so you end up sitting behind another table at the same level. On our 2nd trip, our view was actually pretty blocked by the 4 people at the table across from us. If you are buying more that two tickets, you get placed a 4 or 6 seat table, so you will be fine, but I feel it is only fair to warn couples of the possibility. In our case, they weren't full so we able to move once the show started to an empty table across from us close to the wall so we could see the stage unencumbered.
All in all, this is a great place and we are thinking about season tickets next year (as long as we won't get stuck at a two top!).

I have been there for several shows and loved every time. The productions are great, the food is delicious and the staff is fantastic. I look forward to going back soon.
Shawna T
Amazing production and actors. There isn't a bad seat in the entire place. Great room to move and a welcoming environment for old and young. Restrooms are comfortable and well stocked. Impressed and we WILL be returning!
Dotty Feil
We did the murder mystery dinner show where the audience was part of the show. The actors were good at engaging with the audience. They picked the perfect people from the audience to be a part of the play. And the actors themselves were very good actors. Not to mention, the food was delicious.
Trey Muniz
Always love taking the family here, our last server Savannah was the best server we’ve ever had
Rob Ditzenberger
First time here. Great venue with a great layout in the Encore Room. Got tickets to "Men Are From Mars, Women Are From Venus" as a gift, and it was great! The atmosphere, staff, and food were perfect. We will definitely be returning!
Brandon Pickett
The chicken Marsala was juicy and well cooked. The mashed potatoes needed a tad bit more seasoning. The vegetables were a little undercooked. It was a great amount of food and overall was good. The dessert was a big disappointment. Just plane dry!
Joseph Formichella
Fantastic! A real gem production was professional, including singing, acting, and sets. Like a little slice of Broadway right here in Arizona. Highly recommended.
Wynter Fenn
I've seen two musicals and had such a great time! The staff is friendly and the shows are amazing!
Vee Velix
Great show and dinner was good great service!
StrongmanWill
Nice place, good atmosphere. They are a little overpriced for the show. Overall had a pleasant experience.
Manuel B
I really like it here. And the view isn't all that bad, there isn't really a bad seat in the house . Only issue I guess I have is they really don't give you a lot food but maybe I was just really hungry that day. But it's good and tasty.
Kristi Keeler
Mama Mia was spectacular! Incredible talent and music, great costumes and scenary. Food was good but not great. Rice was overcooked, brocolli undercooked with no flavor. Chicken was good. Sycamore Chardonny is bar white. Unoaked with no high notes and stale aftertaste. Definitely going for another show!
Michelle Hughes
I've been here several times. The performances are great and the food has been consistently good.
I'm sad covid has had such a huge impact on the Arizona Broadway Theater and look forward to them re-opening.
John Parton
This was our first time here. We're from Southern California.
We thoroughly enjoyed this outstanding performance of Guys and Dolls. The food was good, and the service staff was outstanding.
We'd definitely do this again.
Linda Ullman
First visit! Really nice venue. Food was surprisingly good for a dinner theater. Really enjoyed the show. Incredible voices! Fun evening. We are planning several more visits
Suzanne Ripley
The ABSOLUTE BEST entertainment in the valley! Gourmet Food and PHENOMENAL acting! Professional wait staff! I have season ticket with friends for our “Girl Time” and almost always end up buying tickets for gifts!! SOOOO FUN!!!
Lisa B
Love Strong Ministries! Great bunch of ladies! Had a fantastic time! Will definitely be going to there other venues!! Arizona Broadway Theatre catered this event!! 2 thumbs up!!
Constanca Langer
I saw Shrek here a while ago. The show was pretty good, and I really liked the mix between theatre and dinner. The only thing that brings this down was that I thought that the chicken strips were a bit fatty. Other than that, I had a pleasant experience at this theatre and I probably will come see another show here!
Edie Smith
This is a hidden gem! Wonderful actors, sets, costumes, music all come together in a delightful event. Dinner and a show combine to make a great time. We have seen three (3) very different plays and each time we are amazed. If you are looking for entertainment that wows you this is it.
Wendy Marshall
I've had season tickets to AZ Broadway Theatre from the day they opened their doors. They have terrific shows with highly trained professional actors, all of whom have wonderful singing voices. It's fabulous to have such a high quality theatre so close to my home without having to go all the way downtown.
Scott Hacker
Very nice buffet lunch
Karri Gradolph
Dinner and a show! Fun fun fun! Great food, although is easy to get up charged if not paying attention. We saw South Pacific. Enjoyed very much. Just remember... You are not in New York. Very fun. Very good!
Denise Mallin-Wilcox
Game show was a blast and my husband was the big winner!!
Lynette PopeJoy
The shows are always good many are more tailored to the older crowd. The food is very good I wish they bring back the prime rib. Staff is excellent. A very enjoyable way to spend an afternoon on the weekend
Jerry Ilchena
Dinner theater, one of the best nights watching a one man show doing "men are from mars and women from Venus". The show was fabulous, full of laughter, the food was good, company was great, what a way to spend an evening. GREAT SHOW, MUST SEE.
Z Fauntleroy
The ELF at Arizona Broadway theater was absolutely Amazing and the staff was also Amazing and very polite. I will be looking forward to going to another show in the future.
Rick M
Everything here is fantastic, except for the food. The food is horrendous.
Love the staff, the environment, everything. But the food is a deal breaker.
Jonathan W
I've seen two shows here and they were both amazing. The quality of the shows is on par with anything you would see at gammage and the setting is much more intimate. Dessert was great too.
Taylor Benner
If I could give this place 6 stars I would. Everything is absolutely amazing. The shows are great and as is the food. If you are looking for an excellent date night, or just looking for an eventful evening. This is the place to go
Michael Niesen
Top notch shows, great food, excellent service need I say more. One show and you'll be hooked we have sat at many different tables never a bad seat in the house. We love ABT!
Just Foryou
This time we watched Mary Poppins and it was amazing, I really enjoyed every part of it. Thank you for giving our family another great night in Arizona with an alternative form of entertainment. We will be coming back!
Antoinette T
Our organization, Leonardo DaVinci Lodge 2992, recently held a fundraiser dinner for Soldier's Best Friend. Our guests enjoyed the venue, the food, and the service. Our thanks go out to the professional staff assisting with set-up, serving and clean-up. Your efficient service is much appreciated.
Leilani Griffiths
Fabulous sophisticated West side Venue. You can see wonder Broadway quality shows at reasonable prices. You can enjoy delightful dinner theater. This venue is available for events also. The staff give top of the line service.
There is a women's B2B function there once a month.
David Foster
Great staff, venue & show!
Jenny Rayna
Our first time at Arizona Broadway Theater was actually pretty fun! I went in thinking it would be horribly boring or stupid and I was wrong! Wrong but pleasantly surprised lol. Although I did not like how expensive drinks were. For 4 rail drinks at the bar it was $32 or $35! The show was good the actors were great we saw Miracle on 34th Street. Staff was all wonderful as well and bathrooms are clean!
Michel Brown
The first two musicals of the season have been brilliant: Man of La Mancha and South Pacific. They get excellent singers/actors for the primary roles. The meals served are very good.
Jeff Kastner
Was very impressed with this dinner theater. We saw "Hands on a Hard Body" and it was an excellent production. Dinner and service was much better than expected. Glad ABT has become one of the Herberger's resident companies for the 2018-19 season.
Megan Ricker
I've been here to see Buddy Holly, Les Miserables, Rock of Ages, White Christmas and Legally Blonde. All shows were great with my least favorite being White Christmas. The shows are always pretty spot on with the talent being pretty entertaining. It's a great alternative to going to Gammage and paying double/triple to see a show.
The food is mediocre, I've never been impressed with any of the food at any of the shows. However, it is still decent and the servers are usually on top of everything. Beware of upgrading to any of the appetizers or entrees as it is usually not worth the price.
Would recommend if you are looking for a fun date night that doesn't break the bank!
Lizette Gonzalez
Do i know this places? Yes.
I work there.
Christian Brigham
Came here with my son and his school to see A Charlie Brown Christmas. What an amazing venue! They did a great job performing, and had a great Q&A for the kids at the end. I can't wait to bring my wife here for a show!
Angela Marston-Halifax
The show "Joseph & The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat" was fabulous. The food...not so much. We were surprised that any drink other than water was not included in our show/dinner ticket, and neither was desert. Our waitstaff were fantastic. For the money, next time, just the show.
Jason Champagne
This was my second time partaking of this establishment. Last year I was able to enjoy Christmas Carol and this year it was Camelot. Both shows were exceptional and the performers are the best. The meals are always amazing and the service it above reproach
Dean Johnson
Friendly staff, talented performers in a wonderful venue. Food was great. Recommend highly.
Aneedabeda B
I just stumbled on this review area! Wish I had seen it when I attended The Sound of Music. But it's never too late to say nice things...eh? I have never seen such a professional production in a dinner theater. The dinner was lovely and nicely presented. Thank you! Now about The Sound of Music...The main casting roles were obviously carefully handpicked. And, the role of Maria was masterfully performed and acted by one of our very own local talents. Hope to see her back in other roles soon. She gave me chills every time she open her mouth...singing OR speaking. The Captain was perfectly cast. His demeanor was appropriate and progressed to heartfelt elegance as the production progressed. When Maria and The Captain danced, it was nothing short of appropriate and graceful! Two wonderfully cast actors! And the Mother Abbess was incredible! Max and Elsa, too, were unexpectedly outstanding! Bring them ALL back! When I saw Carrie Underwood later that same week, I was surprised and disappointed that a big televised over-marketed production would have been sooo unprofessional and would contain such weakly-talented cast members. After giving each cast member a chance to be seen and heard, I turned it off! ABT far out-shined that production...absolutely NO comparison. I made it a point to speak to all of the cast members as I left ABT that evening, and to tell them how very much I appreciated their talents and efforts in this production. Bravo!!!
Sam Kelsall
I attended the west side Bar Association luncheon at the Arizona Broadway Theater we ate on the main floor of the theater which has been expanded since I was there last time. The food was outstanding and the service was very good the atmosphere was small but large what I mean is the facility is fairly large but the group seems rather intimate In the center of the main floor
Tony Potts
Had a great experience here the other night. Saw "Rock of Ages" and was blown away by the production quality. The cast was brilliant. The sound system was very good. This is a dinner theater so we arrived early and enjoyed the hors d'oeuvres the passed around at the lobby. Then we went in and sat and enjoyed dinner quality and service were very good. If you like broadway shows and musicals, this place and the Orpheum are the ones to watch.
Carol Crane
Excellent productions and good food and service.
dave bodnar
Great shows great food
Mario Rodarte
Once I was in the door I felt like I had traveled 3000 miles to New York. The atmosphere inside the Arizona Broadway Theatre is very unique and it makes you feel like you are dining in New York itself. The beef stroganoff was amazing and my wife and kids really enjoy their food as well. All the actors and actresses really engage with you at the end of the evening which made it even more spectacular. We will forever be huge fans of the Arizona Broadway Theatre.
Rodney Hage
Fun, great food, great staff.
Kyersten Reichow
Arizona Broadway Theatre is a really cool way to see a number of musicals throughout the year. The food is typically pretty good quality and the shows are almost always excellent. I just say the Addams family which is playing until July 6th, 2019 (I think). It was brilliant. Throughout the show, the audience laughed at all the best parts. This is typical at this theatre. Though it is a bit on the expensive side, for what you receive, it is worth it.
JK Blake
We love this place! Great food, great service, great shows... What's not to like? Great place for a special event, or just an evening out. They put on great concerts too.
Sherrie Bellamy
Great music and dinner
Lisa Hansen
The show is great, but until they get service fully staffed, skip the dinner.
Jon Schmidt
I have seen over 15 shows here since I moved to Phoenix in Sept 2014. The food is good and the shows have been great.
Brian Guiley
Good food and great show. Went for an event, so did not pay myself, but got information. The venue is nice and they have some good shows coming. Definitely going to go again.
Jan Thomas
AZ Swing Kings with Vito and Bridget Maynes. Great location, Great sound. I'll be back to see a play no doubt.
Kim Deerman
Mary Poppins was the best show ever. Burt looked just like Dick VanDyke! The sets were great and the music and dancing were top notch! The children were very good and of course Mary Poppins! The Broadway Theater story was only a little bit different than the original movie. Actually I think their ending was nicer than the movie because the Dad gets his job back. I never realized how the movie didn't make much sense, my son-in-law had never seen it as a child so my daughter made him watch it before going to the show, his thoughts were this: A nanny who flyes in from nowhere and gives the kids medicine when they weren't even sick. Then she hangs out with a man in the park that writes on the sidewalk and is a chimney sweep and dances on the rooftops with the children. This is a dangerous thing to do. She visits an "uncle" who laughs so hard he flies up to the ceiling. She makes things appear from her carpet bag including a bed. She feeds them sugar to get the children to work! As a kid it's a perfect tale where the dad loses his job and stays home all day so they can go fly a kite anytime. But it's no way to support a wife and kids much less pay for the wife to stay home and go to women's rights marches, yet have a nanny, too!
Food was quite good surprisingly but watch out because all of the add-ons can get very expensive. But for all of our family who are now adults, it was very impressive! You might say it was: Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious!
Rita Payton
Love this dinner theater. Professional performances, great seating and good food. I have taken many out of town guest here and they are always pleased with everything.
Jeff Aspland
The performance was outstanding and made up for the mediocre food. The brisket was decent, and the after dinner coffee is my favorite cup of coffee. Service is also great!
Linda Bolen
The food was delicious with good size portions. The cast of South Pacific was really talented. It was a great way to celebrate a birthday!
Ron Pohlman
The show was really great! All the players, about 15, had very good voices. Food was very good and our waitress was so very nice.
Arnold Vogel
Our seasonal seating is C,2 Our server's helper was in need of training before being assigned tables. She stacked dirty dishes on our table, then carried them in her bare arms to collect dishes from other tables. Eventually she caused another table to be paused while the mess she made was cleared and the table reset. A patron at the table had liquid spilled on her. Employees dealing with the public in fine dining need more training than working at a less formal establishment. I told our server of our concern. I later learned that Diane has retired or I would have asked for her. Enjoyed the performance of Guys and Dolls in spite of the dining issues.
Joan Wolf
Love going to this theater...every show has been incredibly well done the staff is friendly the food good to great. Love the intimacy of the theater so far no such thing as a bad seat. Mama Mia Outstanding.
Scott Teem
Saw Godspell and the show was really good. We were very expressed by the young cast. Everyone sang so well.
M gdhse3
Loved it!
Great Ghost performance.
Food and service too!
Mathew
Just a wonderful place to dress dapper and enjoy not just amazing musical performances but the atmosphere. Be seeing my first show since the pandemic and really happy it's open again
Stella Shehi
Dinner, service, and show (Catch Me If You Can) were all outstanding! This was not my first time there, nor will it me my last. The only thing I would change if I could, the chairs. They are some of the most uncomfortable chairs I have ever sat in and they mess my back up everytime.
Mrs Misty
I came to watch Xanadu with a friend. During the show my son was injured at a football game and had to be taken to the hospital. I had to leave the show abruptly. I felt bad because I was sitting front row and I know it must have been a bit of a distraction. They were so kind and offered to bring me back for a show only tickets.
Alison Troub
Went to watch my niece perform here, nice place. I don't think there's a bad seat anywhere.
Heather M
Amazing little place. Show was amazing and the stuff was super helpful with allergies we had in our party!
tammy Atarian

Lexy Romano and Josh Condon are an excellent team. Their talents mix very well and they are certainly an entertaining couple and awesome performers.
Juanita Roberts
It used to have a bad reputation for service but they've changed everything. It was all top notch. The meal, the service and the show were excellent! The show was Mama Mia!
Gabriel Bey
It is a beautiful facility which I sure host wonderful plays and musicals, but I was there to launch the LD21 Democratic Campaign of Kathy Knecht for a seat in the State House of Representatives.
She gets my support and my vote in the upcoming elections.
Briana Colombo
I saw Chicago tonight and it was a DREAM!!! Th venue is gorgeous and the food was to die for. Can't wait to go again!
Francis Kollman
Yummy Gluten free bread before the meal!!!!! The only restaurant that serves gluten free bread before the meal!
The food is very good and there are so few restaurants that will give you gluten free bread as well as gluten free meal options in such abundance!
By the way the shows here are superb!!!
Fred Ybarra
Epic performance. It's a long drive from Tucson but definitely worth it Service staff is top Notch. went to see Not Fade Away I will definitely be be going back for Man of La Mancha
Deborah Dille
I went to see mary poppins and was stunned at how amazing the play was!it was almost as good as a Broadway show on a small scale. the dinner that comes with it provides a nice selection and the menu changes with each play I throughly enjoyed it!
Steven Volckmann
I have been many times over the years and have never been disappointed. The productions are very well done and the cast professional. Very nice venue.
Diane Johnson
Saw tribute to Manilow- dinner was tasty and performance was exceptional. Little disappointed that second performer doing tribute to Bette Midler was absent but understand there was a medical emergency. Life happens! Pray she is alright.
Carol Ford
Menopause cast and show was fabulous. Wonderful, attentive wait staff. Their food was delicious with a good variety. Would definitely highly recommend ABT .

Actually went here for a work office party and it was pretty amazing the bar staff was great as well as everyone else working the event. They also had the play Elf in another area next time I would like to see Elf.
Marlowe Garay
The performances were the best I've seen in the Valley. Wow! Servers were quick & professional. Food was over-priced, but delicious. Portions are small.
Bobbe Lhotka
I come every year the week between Christmas and New Years to see the WONDERFUL shows and have never been disappointed. The reason I come this week is that is when my daughter is in town and we celebrate her birthday. and also because it is the only time I have someone to come with. It isn't fun to come alone. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE extend the performance of "White Christmas" to the 28th of Dec ember as your ad states. I know the tickets are not yet on sale but I keep looking every day.
Martie Burman
Murder Mystery Dinner - Audience participation with 3 course chicken meal included in price. Fun time -with advanced dietary change accepted.

Debra McCarthy
Show was ok, food was ok.
Ruth Dorsch
Great place...but instructions as to when to arrive if you dont have dinner included very confusing.
Shanerz21
The caliber of performance, detailed set pieces and lighting, and a live orchestra takes this theater to the next level. Highly recommend for Broadway fans and a great introduction for newbies.
Alec Aronson
I had the very best afternoon! The waitstaff was an absolute delight and the show was magnificent. Everything is very reasonably priced, too!
Connie Lehan
ELF WAS GTEAT ENJOYED THE SHOW! The lack of servers is a problem until people get back to work but still enjoyed it!

Kim Pope
Wonderful! Dinner and drinks before the show was great. The Actors and the show were perfect. Great night. Everyone enjoyed it.

The food is excellent along with the service! I have seen 4-5 shows here now and haven't seen a bad one yet! Well worth the cost!
Danny Skidmore
The temp is just right. Seating is comfortable. The drinks were great. The show was assume!
Ken Truitt
Xanadu was a disappointment. This was the 5th production we've seen so may have seemed mediocre compared to others we've seen. Music was too loud and detracted from performers. As usual, ABT staff was great.
Torrey Mann
The food was extraordinary and pricing reasonable. The play was a great take on the old movie. Acting and singing superb. The children were awesome.
Madeline Koch
The performances are Above and Beyond what you'd expect from a place in Arizona. The meals are delicious and staff is incredibly friendly! Perfect for an anniversary or birthday!
Stephanie

Good production of Jesus Christ Superstar. Little pricey and the food selections are not quite as good as they used to be. Nice theatre and the service is good. Overall a good place to spend a few hours.
Gene Carpenter
Had a great experience, but don't know about the food since we ate beforehand.
Debbie Donigan
ABT never disappoints. The food is very good and productions are top notch. West siders have a gem here in ABT! Saw Last night and it was fantastic! I highly recommend ABT!
Christine Doerfler
I love AZ Broadway theatre! The food is great; the service is wonderful. The one night music shows can't be beat for the price. I thought Will Rogers Follies was terrific. The Ladies Christmas luncheon is a great way to kick off the season. I'm looking forward to this Friday and the Manilow show and later this summer to Joseph and the Technicolor Dreamcoat. Really folks, you should give it a try. The West Valley needs AZ Broadway Theatre!
Kory Lazar
Great food. The salmon dish with mango sauce was amazing. The Addams family was also really great. Would highly recommend

Lazuras120
Very well done productions and the pre show dinners are always pretty good with lots of choices. Wish there was more live theatre around like this place offers.
Avi W
An amazing and wonderful than you. If you happen to host an event here it is cheaper than other places, they have their own DJ, and they also have students from Huntington University that if needed.
Jon Wilson
The show was excellent (Elf) and the food was delicious. We will definitely go again.
Benjamin Martinez
The cast for Game Show was right on! Hilarious with a twist.
Todd Christie
If you're looking for something to do in the Phoenix area....here's one suggestion. (Until Feb. 21st)

Jerry Travis
For my blog called Doggy-Dog World, a few weeks ago I wrote a short review of your current show at ABT, "The Sound of Music," and now, after having seen the televised “live” version on NBC with Carrie Underwood as Maria, I have to say I enjoyed your “live” version better than theirs. There was no live feeling to the show on tv, what with three minutes of commercials for every twelve minutes of show, the sets were neither real nor staged, sort of in between, and the music accompanying the singing was way too intrusive, to the point that some of the singing got lost in the violin section. My wife and I are ABT addicts and must commend you on your ever improving presentation of shows and dinners. Fine dining, fine entertainment. The following is what I wrote before viewing the televised version:
“There’s been a lot of hype recently about the upcoming NBC showing of a live Sound of Music, with Carrie Underwood playing Maria. Last Tuesday we went to the Arizona Broadway Theatre, our nearby dinner theatre, and saw Sound, and let me say that the girl who played Maria, Trisha Hart Disworth, would have made Julie Andrews proud. ABT just keeps getting better and better. The show opened with the seven nuns and the Mother Abbess behind a scrim screen, the abbey and castle and mountains on the scrim, a lighted abbey window behind them, four pillars and a high gated fence in front of them, and they sang the vespers a cappella. Enough to take my breath away. Then the fence and pillars exited left and right, the backdrop went up, the scrim went up, and Maria was there, lying on the stage with the mountains on a backdrop, and we hear the oh so familiar strains of the hills being alive. And what a voice Maria had. The sets and costumes and singing were wonderful. The voices of Maria and the Mother Abbess were fine enough for Broadway. I see that Audra MacDonald is playing the mother superior in the live production, and she has a great operatic voice, but I don’t think she’ll be any better than ABT’s Ariana Valdes. Anyone who might read this who lives in our Valley of the Sun should go see this ABT production. It was spectacular.”
Thank you, ABT, for being the best theatrical venue in the whole Valley.
Paul Chung
Just finished watching Addams Family and it was AMAZEBALLS!!! Extremely entertained, the actors are professional and the script was hilarious! Staff, venue, just everything was beyond my expectations.
Trevor Martin
Lovely place to spend 4 hours. We had a good lunch, followed by a wonderful production of "Elf". Worth the money.
James MacMillan
Great show, not a bad seat in the house!
Joseph Scianna
We had a wonderful time at Sweeney Todd. Waitstaff was amazing, food was great and the show took the house down.
Dianna
Love the food, service and shows! But, I would prefer not to walk out directly into a cloud of secondhand smoke. Possibly move the smoking section away from the exit door?
Corbin Tinnin
Amazing performance of Elf. I was able to actually meet the cast. The food was amazing and my family had a great time. Thank you.
Rodney Rickard
A good show with nice service. I would have desert there, but dinner somewhere elce. The food tasted frozen and reheated and not great.
Hugh Powell
I've been waiting so long for it to be opened. I like going there so much and I really reccomment to vit it - especially after last difficult events. Amazing experience!
Sara Christensen

I needed to update my credits with ABT. Tony at the desk was patient, helpful and fixed my credit on the spot. Thank you Tony. You are great!
Maria Ranus
We’ve seen My Fair Lady, Tarzan, Singing in the Rain & Little Shop of Horrors here. They’ve all been amazing 🎶💗 …
