Leaf and Petal NOLAOne of our fave venues to decorate, the incredible interior and exterior of Marigny Opera House is a gorgeous place for weddings and events. Working there is always easy and Bill's the best.
Kim WelanSaw Tennessee Williams' "Summer and Smoke" here. Beautiful venue and top-notch accoustics in this "restored just enough to be charming" old church. Apparently it can be secured for weddings, too. Bathrooms were clean and modern, plus a big fenced side yard as well. A thoroughly memorable evening was had by all.

Charles ContiCould be so much more. The interior is a work in progress. The people do not intend to make any ascetic improvements, only structural requirements. AC is marginal for a large group. 2 small bathrooms. No kitchen for caterers. Plan carefully if you are considering this for an event.

My partner and I got married here and wouldn't do it over any other way. The space is gorgeous and the behind the scene folks at Marigny Opera house are helpful, friendly, and great at communicating. Jeff BazziWe had our NYE Party / Wedding Reception here. The venue is simply delightful. We love both the elegance and overall feel of the space. We love that it's basically a blank canvas that you get to decorate yourself (even though you don't really need to). We love that they don't have contracts set up with other places so you can basically do whatever you want (within reason, obviously) for things like food/beverage, music, decorations, etc.
Beyond all of that, it's just a gorgeous place tucked into a gorgeous part of New Orleans and Evan made everything incredibly easy to manage as he is incredible easy to work with.

Dramas MamaBeautiful old church built by and for German worshippers, now used for live performances and weddings. Usually open to see. Under restoration in May 2018, so scaffolds and workers are on site.

John Pthis is the kind of place that makes New Orleans great. It is a semi-public space and that makes it perfect for private parties and events. But it is also a special place to have a ticketed event. The owners are very easy to work with. The setting is amazing. Very special
