My first time here and the theater was beautiful! The sound was great in there. Had a great seat. We prepaid for parking when we purchased our tickets. It was short walk around the corner. We did see a parking lot across the street for $20 on Vine. The restrooms were clean. There were multiple bars for drinks. Masks are required inside the theater. Definitely will be back to watch more shows.

I’ve been to the Pantages several times now and I haven’t had a bad experience! The theater has a very classic feel to it, once you walk in you can tell it has a lot of history. It’s very Art Deco and overall the space is pretty large. I’ve seen multiple plays and I can tell you that the best seats are either in the mezzanine or the mid-to front side of the orchestra section. It’s very hard to see here if you’re in the back of the house. Thankfully, this venue provides binoculars for your viewing pleasure. Be warned that seating is very tight in some areas and you don’t get a lot of leg room, this can make you feel very cramped. If you’re in the mood for snacks or soft drinks there’s a station for you and if you’re over 21+ there are two alcohol stations. At this venue I’ve seen people dress all types of styles spanning from casual, semi-casual and formal. Usually at each show they’re are merchandise stations so fans can purchase momentos. The staff are always friendly and sharply dressed with their red vests and they’re always on game mode and willing to help.

While there are many options to go see a musical or play in Tinsel Town, the Pantages theatre is, by far, the most storied of places to watch a great performance. The architecture is immaculate. There is not a bad seat in the house to watch the show. Just pray the person who is sitting in front of you isn't a giant, ha. They serve snacks and drinks to accommodate any hunger pains in case you do not have time to eat before catching the show. There are plenty of restrooms, but beware, the lines get very long. Great venue, classic Hollywood mystique.

On the famed corner of Hollywood & Vine, sits the historic Hollywood Pantages Theatre, one of the most iconic venues in the Western U.S. The largest and grandest of the movie palaces from Hollywood’s Golden Age, the Hollywood Pantages is now Southern California’s preeminent showplace for blockbuster live Broadway entertainment! All of staff are kind and helpful. The inside of the theater is very antique and elegant. The seats are comfortable.

The theatre itself is gorgeous!! The staff were extremely helpful and very professional. I was surprised at how young many of them were but appreciated/impressed that they took an interest in the shows. I was raised with regular visits to the symphony, ballet and shows. One of the things I've noticed when talking to contemporaries and younger is that this is a rare experience. So, it was wonderful to see the younger staff taking advantage of a job that allows them access to these shows. At the time that I visited Hamilton was showing. I LOVE the original, but this one felt like a huge letdown. However, that doesn't affect my appreciation of the theatre.

@thelionking is largest and grandest of the movie palaces from Hollywood’s Golden Age, the historic Hollywood Pantages Theatre, one of the most iconic venues.
It is Southern California’s preeminent showplace for blockbuster Live Broadway entertainment!
The theatre itself is gorgeous and has a very classic feel to it. The seats are comfortable and we had a great view from our seats. Take note that if you’re going to an afternoon showing, there will probably be many families and most dress casual.
The show, The Lion King, was phenomenal! It’s truly a show to see in person. The singing was wonderful! The set was amazing! They made everything come to life. Kudos to the whole crew, actors and production!!
The restrooms seem to have long lines most of the time, so I’d recommend using the bathroom beforehand.
Overall, it was a wonderful experience.

Thursday night was our night to visit the Lion King at the Pantages. We had a parking pass on Ivar which made everything super convenient. We walked down the block with a large group of attendees, passing Capitol Records along the way. It took about 5 minutes to get through the line/ ticket scanning entrance and from there we beelined to the bathroom since there are no breaks until intermission. Shortly after 8pm, the lights dimmed and our show began.
The Lion King was incredible! The imagery was vivid and the dancing was graceful and intricate. The various animals were a sight to behold, and the makeup and costumes were beautifully captivating. We were greeted with a special surprise at the end of the show, which I can't get into right now, all I can say is before the end of the summer make sure you catch the Late Late Show with James Cordon and you might see a little of what the audience was able to experience. The show ended shortly after 10:30pm and once we walked out of the lobby and back onto Hollywood Blvd. we were embraced by the wonderful smell of street dogs. An amazing night in Hollywood!

This place is gorgeous and spectacular. After waiting so long we finally got to see Hamilton. Not only was the show awesome but the Pantages Theatre had so much to kick at and see. The detail is impeccable.
Tim Trerise
I always seem to forget how beautiful this place is until I come back. As always the seats are too small, but the live shows are awesome. Hamilton is almost over, and if you can come and see it I would suggest you do! Definitely recommended!
Karen Mora
I visited two weeks ago to watch Hamilton and really enjoyed my experience. They were still requiring masks at the time and were not selling concessions. Although there was a long line to walk into the theater it did not take long to get through. The theater itself is quite beautiful and very art deco. The one thing I will say is that the seats are on the small side so good luck if you're tall.
Claudia Ordonez
This is the first visit during the pandemic that we come back to the Pantages, great experience, people are mask on at all times and the staff are reminding everyone to do so. We parked behind the theater and had easy access; we arrived an hour before the show. The entrance was smoothly done having vaccine proof. With respect to one another, we can enjoy theater again! 😁🥰

The Pantages Theater itself is absolutely beautiful. The team of workers working there are friendly and ready to help. The cocktails aren't that good and are on the pricier side. The show, The Lion King, was great! The restrooms seem to be full and have long lines most of the time. Overall, it was a wonderful experience.
Ross Curtis
This is the absolute most BEAUTIFUL theater I have ever visited! The seats are comfortable and there is not a bad seat in the house. My fiancé and I went here to see CATS. It was an exceptional performance with elite talent! If you haven’t seen CATS I strongly recommend you make the trip and go see it. The mens restrooms have the smallest urinals I have ever seen or used. Try not to sit behind a taller person than yourself. You will have an obstructed

it's been many years . since I have visited. but what a beautiful place to watch a play. it's close to the corner. parking easy . not cheap
but safe .the seats clean .and staff very nice .FYI never know who meet. I meet Tom cruse. .

Beautiful, classic LA theatre that hosts wonderful shows throughout the year. I’ve gone to many shows here but this last time the sound quality was just off and the band was very loud while the actors were pretty quiet. May have just been an off night or maybe they need to upgrade the sound system.

Cane to see Moulin Rouge. It was wonderful. The building is amazing. Staff was friendly. Our seats were Mezzos. Center. Perfect. If I had one concern it was the ppl grilling hot dogs on the way out. Too small a space for that.
Kirt Kingzett
This venue is top-notch first class and always a pleasure to attend a show or concert. The sound quality was phenomenal, some friends and I saw Hamilton. It sounded amazing the show production was great and well worth the money. Parking can be challenging $25 over on argyle or a block south for about $10.
Enjoy the show Cheers

Moulin Rouge is the Best musical show. It's got all the hit song tide together make a story out of it. Well done 👏 …
Vanessa Chaudhari
A beautiful theater! It is not very big, so I feel like no matter where you sit, you’ll have a great view. The staff is very professional and helpful. The seats are comfortable and spacious, very clean. A wonderful place!
Rosemari Martinez
Been here so many times and never disappointed in the beauty of the architecture. Be sure to arrive early for any event to find parking and make your way in! Bathroom lines get LONG during intermission but the staff does excellent navigation of the crowds.
Ara
The theater is beautiful but the quality of the plays, the scenery, the lighting, you can see perfectly from every angle. Great place to attend a musical like Moulin Rouge✨
DJJ (DjJ)
This Classic piece of Hollywood history is th best theatre to check out some awesome architecture and decor. The place is 93 years old and had the honor of premiering In 1938 Disney Snow White & the 7 Dwarfs. Let alone the Oscars and many more events. We were there to see the lion King. I have seen several shows and concerts here you cannot have a bedsheet in the theater.
Sam Kim
My sister and I came here on a Sunday night for Moulin Rouge and it was fantastic! Staff was courteous from start to finish. We even came a bit late and was told they no longer had anymore paybills, but during the break someone brought us extras! Shoutout to Sarah and Jensen for being so nice and helping us today! It’s wild to me that people would be disrespectful during the musicals, but the ushers are quick to shut them down. We did have some people trying to record behind us, and one of them was promptly escorted out after several warnings. Just follow the rules and enjoy the show y’all!

Grammys honor Paul Simon at the Pantages Theater in Hollywood. Will be aired on CBS at a later date. Most incredible show put on since Covid. I can't say more about the show, but when it airs on CBS, it is a must see. Lots of surprise guests.

Had a great time at the Pantages Theater in Hollywood. Lindsey Sterling in concert. The way she plays that violin 🎻 is a true gift. She sounds so good in concert! The stage show and interaction with her fans was the best.Hope she comes around again real soon! …

One of my favorite venues for great life entertainment. Their broadway shows are amazing (less The Cats) and I love the settings. A great show rom with a grandiose entrance. The ceilings are amazing and you can take endless fancy pictures. They have a bar and a shop with good souvenirs to remember the show, from shirts to cups and books.
The bathroom are clean and roomy with beautiful mirrors to get some touch ups. It can get busy for intermission but all good...
The parking is disappointing, but that is in all LA.
I love Pantages.
Justin Hamblen
Really cool venue. I saw a show here and the staff was quick, helpful and informative. They mandated Covid vaccination and checked everyone’s vax card outside the building in a line. The line was down the block and around the corner but it actually moved very quickly. They also mandated everyone to wear a mask at all times.
I really enjoyed my visit and will return.
Jim Kara
I saw the Lion King show here a few years ago and it was awesome!
The ornate exterior is one thing, tho the interior is exquisite elegance!
The acoustics were excellent, the visuals with the lighting was perfect and the seating was clean and comfortable.
This legendary theater must be among the best places anywhere to see a Broadway Theater stage show!
Since this theater’s by the famous intersection of Hollywood and Vine, it’s also included as an historic place to point out on my group tours.
Due to the pandemic hiatus, I’ve not been touring here lately, so it was nice to stop by, peer thru to the front and see this grand old place, still up and running with upcoming shows!
Parking is to the rear of the building as well as off of Vine Street.
Laura Washington
The staff was very pleasant and helpful.
I needed extra assistance because of my disability and they went the extra mile to assist me.
The seating was perfect and comfortable.
Enjoyed the play.
The whole theatre was very clean.
Everyone at the snack bar was pleasant and offered a variety of snacks.
The intermission was very well organized.
Tingwei Meng
We watched “Moulin Rouge!” here. The sound and performance was great even if our ticket price was not the most expensive ones. We prepaid for the parking ($15). They require mask. It was a great experience.
Ryan Reynolds
Absolutely Wonderful theatre. Saw the lion King. Beautifully staged. A past Present & future Season Ticket Holder.
Cherilyn Jones
Iconic theater with tons of history, we learned of the haunted history on the haunted Hollywood walking tour. Fascinating past. It’s super neat they were hosting moulin rouge this week. Defi they a beautiful theater.
April Estep
Parking was a bit expensive, but easy to find. Lots of choices for a meal before or after performances. Here to see Mean Girls...fantastic!! Had dinner at Northern Cafe Chinese Dumpling House (across the street) just before the show...food was DELICIOUS!!
Michael Dunn
Such an iconic beautiful place. If you haven't seen a show here yet, do it
Zen Akire
Fantastic! Every time we’ve had a chance to see a broadway show it’s been a great experience. The theater is absolutely beautiful.
Michele W.
Not ADA compliant... I'd ask questions if you need assistance. The seats are not the greatest if you have a bad back or a big butt/thighs.
W. Pierre
Went to see the Lion King. Excellent show. The theater is gorgeous.
Elizabeth Dickens
Best Theater in Los Angeles / Hollywood. I've seen many plays here however Moulin Rouge is one of my favorites!!
BethyB Beth
Architecture. That's one reason why I will always love visiting the Pantages Theater. No matter what Broadway performance you are coming to see, always take time to be amazed at the grandeur architecture of this historical theater.
Shawn Dixon
Very well-kept old theatre. The staff were courteous and helpful. The play we saw was excellent.
Olivia Zabala
Saw the Lion King last night and it was phenomenal. The Pantages as always is a treasure to come and visit. I hope to never lose the awe and wonder of stepping through those doors and being taken back in time. Would definitely recommend to anyone near or far to at least see one show in their lifetime and experience the wonder that is the Pantages.
Marina Moreno
What can I say about this theater so freaking gorgeous inside. The seats were comfortable but tightly close together with not much space. I think it was built in the 1930s but not sure. Saw Moulin Rouge the musical and loved it. The cast was perfect, the story was lovely and the costumes were so very sexy plus the dancing. I would recommend seeing this play and the next one I'm seeing for sure is the lion king.
D Haddock
Beautiful theater! Loved the experience. Amazing architecture

One of the best cultural jewels of Hollywood, the old Hollywood where splendorous musicals brought joy to people from every surrounding county, and then some! These days, sadly, modified versions of beloved iconic masterpieces like Jesus Christ Superstar are being staged, simplified... ruined! If course this is my opinion because I have the advantage of having seen the original groundbreaking rock opera and compare it to this new "woke" mediocre adaptation. Will the Pantages ever deliver the same quality of previous years? Let's hope so.

Most of the workers I encountered there were fine. One of them was even nice. One of them was easy overreacting and practically hunted me down when I didn't even do anything wrong. They have an extremely strict NO FOOD policy. I was trying to wav my buddy down to put my *sealed* package of cookies in his car. I was *not* trying to rush in the theater to circumvent their ridiculously strict food policy. But that guy was practically yelling at me NO FOOD ALLOWED. Turned out my friend hadn't brought his car. Luckily the door guy told me they usually bring the confiscated food downstairs so it didn't need to be thrown in the trash. The sound system/ tech in the theater was absolute garbage. Many times in the middle of a song the singer couldn't be heard even though every actor had microphones.

This has always been a great theater, from views to he seats.

We came to see the play, "To Kill A Mockingbird" ... It was a superb play which took place in a phenomenal theater ...
The Pantages architecture is of the Old Hollywood style of the 1930's when it was first built at a cost of $1.25M
One cannot visit Hollywood without a visit to this glorious theater
Stephen Donnelly
The theatre is GORGEOUS inside and with valet parking the overall experience getting in & out is very manageable

20 Jan 23 - Update - Mean Girls - it was later than i like to be up, but use waze to find parking. My Garmin led me around the block when we saw Book of Mormon snd ended up posting for different parking and not using the prepaid one.
First time getting refreshments. Gentlemen who assisted us was very nice. Conversed with him for a few minutes before ordering my daughter a drink. He was probably the best part of MY experience. The seats were orchestra left WW. Looking at the seats on ticketmaster did these seats no justice. Much better view all yhe was to ZZ than it shows and we purchased ours for only 39$. The venue is always great. Employees are very helpful. I wasn't into the actual musical - my daughter has been wanting to go so it was hard to stay engaged, but overall it was a great experience. She laughed the whole time and said she wouldn't be upset if I fell asleep. I didn't, but i did zone out. Traffic heading back east was more than I expected for 1030pm, but I'm not usually out that late, if at all. Not many wore masks, as far as patrons go but my daughter and i did. They are "strongly encouraged". Overall 11 out of 10! Picture of location of our seats for your assistance with your own picks.

Best, yet. The mask and mandatory vaccine is in effect. One employee walked around checking vaccine card and giving a yellow dot sticker to show the vaccine card was seen and person was good to go. Check in via ticketmaster went well. Per the website no screenshots or printed forms would be accepted. Some coding in the display of the tickets needed to be verified by their handheld scanner. We didn't have bags, but noticed those getting bags checked, the employees used a 3 foot long stick with a light on the end. Looked a little intrusive so i suggest not bringing a bag. (I kept our vaccine card in my bra, in plastic case... learned that from my grandma. Lol) The mask policy was enforced throughout. One guy sitting across aisle from us had to be reminded continuously to put his mask on. Ugh. Please don't be that guy. Anyway, second time seeing Hamilton, and better than the first. Eccentricities of the cast adding their own flair made it a unique experience.

The Lion King is a great show. That part was spectacular. I deducted 2 stars due to the thetre itself. Not a good acoustical quality and looking at the ceiling explains that. The seats are for tiny people. I'm 5'9" average weight and I felt like a 7' basketball player squeezing into a Honda Civic. If you're tall get the front row of the top balcony. It looked like it had airplane foot room at least.
Kevin Aguilar
All I can say is wow! This theater is beautiful! And The Lion King production was fantastic! I would definitely do this again sometime in the future!
GERI Smith
Love the ornate, elegant atmosphere. Takes you back to the day when theater was a special experience. It continues to be one of my favorite theaters to go to, and they always have top notch performances. Parking is much easier now that there is a parking structure less than a block away!
Alison Carter
Saw Phantom of the Opera here. Beautiful production. The inside of this Art Deco theatre is breath-taking! So much to see! The chandelier is especially stunning. Be sure to check out the bathrooms too. We had drinks before the show that were Phantom themed and delicious. The bar tender was very friendly. Highly recommend taking the opportunity to see a show here and a chance to take in the beauty of this Hollywood gem.
Andreas Aristidou
A true icon of the area that perfectly complements the Hollywood experience. Extremely beautiful on the inside and an easy to navigate theater. The stage itself, lighting, sound etc are great. I was there for a musical called “Anastasia” - highly recommended. Try to not need to use the restroom though, the line is probably longer than the play itself. It’s also a 10-15 minute walk to the Chinese theater and hard rock caffe but the walk itself is not the best.
T AA
This theatre is AWESOME. I came here to see Frozen the play and it was sooo good. Great special effects, story and acting. Seats were comfortable and staff were friendly and helpful. If your in LA you must go see this play you will enjoy it!
Dalton Alfortish
When you imagine going to the theatre, this is where your mind attempts to create. The lavish art deco design transports you to a glamorous era. Every nook and cranny is filled with beautiful design. I've seen The Phantom of the Opera and Anastasia here and both times I was completely blown away. Only the best productions get a chance to run here. The stage production is on a level I hadn't seen before. A combination of well animated screens perfectly hidden in the set and large, well executed set pieces, emerse you in the production. Reasonably priced concessions and helpful ushers only add to the experience. Tickets can be found at very reasonable prices and last minute most of the time. If you haven't seen a show here, give yourself the gift of the experience.
Simon Bidley
This theater is one of my favorite ones to go to. It's the breathtakingly beautiful large theatre with a gorgeous interior, restored in the '90s. The acoustics are great, comfortable seating, nice view and the venue itself is very good.
Brianne Rogers
We just went and saw Miss Saigon, and it was amazing. The props and set up was so intricate. Everything was insanely professional. Other than that, I have seen The Lion King and Wicked here, and those were both great as well. The Pantages is an awesome theater, with great seating, and beautiful decoration. The ceiling is really cool, and it's lit up blue, to make it look like natural lightning. They have it set up to where everyone can see, no matter where you are in the house. We had really wonderful seats, and that were very reasonably priced. We will definitely be back:)
Juan Rodriguez
I took a group there to watch the Lion King show, and they loved it.
The only thing I don't like about the place is that there is no parking close by.
There is also no control in front of the theater when dropping off or picking up big senior citizen groups in busses.
Nikki D.
Entry was confused, but fast once you got to security. The theater was decently clean. The ushers kept letting people in and out throughout the whole show which was annoying. What ever happened to waiting for a pause in the action or end of scene? Bartender Moon was great!
Jahan Hassan
One of the best theatre in Hollywood.
Alex Nunez
Scored some major points bringing my wife here 💪🏼
We saw Frozen here for our wedding anniversary this year.
First time going to the Theatre and it was actually quite a lovely experience. Inside is so massive and epic. Feels like we’re inside a castle! 🏰
Parking was across the street at a parking structure which cost $20 and was a short walk to the Theatre.
Staff was friendly and it was just a very nice and pleasant experience. I
I plan on taking my wife to this Theatre to was many more shows 😊
Elizabeth M
Most beautiful theater in Hollywood, maintained to its prime days. Always a delight to see a production there. But when it's over everyone literally runs to their cars for safety. The homeless situation is shameful and scary.
Chien-Chang Chen
First time to here to watch frozen musical. Really cool experience. The special effect is so amazing that I didn’t know how they do it. It’s so real for freezing effect. And it’s like watching the movie with real man~ the snowman is amazing too
Christina Lindsey
I absolutely love this theater. I saw wicked here about eight years ago. But I had to come again when I saw that Aladdin was playing. My family and I are huge Disney fans and it happened to be my mom's birthday. The restrooms are way over crowded. And $4 for a normal bottle of water :( but the value of entertainment is spectacular and I can't wait to come back
Jack Frost
This theatre captures the elegance and opulence of yesteryear with all the modern ammenities. There is no bad seat in the house as I have been privileged to sit in various spots. I have seen Aladdin, Wicked, and Cats here. The productions have been extraordinary. The theatre is a rare gem in Hollywood for the theatre going enthusiast or novice as well.
Marichelle Chung
Always a great place to watch a musical. My personal preference is always sitting up at the mezzanine so I can see everything around the stage. The theater is very well maintained and the beautiful fixtures and ceiling complement the ambiance.
Scott Anthony Sambol
Beautiful theater from the outside and even better place once you step inside. Nice and helpful staff. A nice beverage and snack area to purchase treats before the show. The bathrooms get a bit crazy during intermission but the staff keeps it all moving efficiently, so you don’t miss out on the second act. If your favorite play happens to be coming to this wonderful theater I recommend getting tickets, you won’t regret it :)
Audrey Stith
Beautiful theater. We went for the 8 pm show. Parking across the street was easy in a garage for 20 bucks. The theater has security lines so make sure to get there about 20 minutes before the show to use the restroom, grab a snack (movie theater prices to say the least) and find your seat. There is no photography during the show which makes it more enjoyable. Boosters available for children if you ask. Stage door on the right of the theater after show to get to meet the actors and get your playbill signed. It was a great time.
Ron Baker
The 1920's art deco architecture make taking in a musical or play here an exercise in an elegant step back in time.
Acoustics are great and parking is relatively painless. It is worth spending extra for orchestra seating. The are some great restaurants and bars close by for après dining and socializing.
Truly elegant, the architecture and décor are as enjoyable as what's on stage. Exceptional, classy venue.
Elizabeth G
Saw Hamilton here. Staff is friendly and the architecture is great added touch. Pretty long line to actually enter but it moves fairly quickly. They verify you’ve been vaccinated and give you a little sticker and then you go through security
Lamar Whitley
Beautiful theatre. Just recently saw Hamilton and was pleasantly surprised at how well you could see from the seats that we had (p108). The only problem you may have is if you are short or if the person in front is tall. This will affect up your line of site and may require you to constantly adjust to the head in front of you. They do offer booster seats and booster cushions, which may affect the person behind you. Outside of that, great show and theatre!
David Koss
I love the pantages theater, it is the nicest theater I’ve been too so far, I can’t wait too come back in a few months for beetlejuice the musical !
Kenni Lee
Went to see STOMP with my fiance. This was a great place to visit. I think given the size of the venue, you don't necessary have to sit in the very front row. I think any row is pretty good seat. The only downside is that the height between rows are small, so if aren't really tall or someone tall is in front of you...it might get in your view.
Hernandez Love
It was wonderful, I had two vip tickets, to see the Lion King. It's a night to remember.
Go see it, you can't go wrong 😊 …
Jennifer Thomason
Amazing show, Moulin Rouge!!! I definitely recommend for anyone to see it and it was a beautiful theater too!!
Joshua S
Watched Hamilton. Theater was clean and full of wonderful architecture. Would high recommend this place.
Shanelle S
Venerable theater for musicals. I grew up coming here to watch shows (i.e. Wicked, Book of Mormon, Miss Saigon, Phantom of the Opera, Rent, and most recently, Hamilton) and have always had a fantastic experience. The venue is gorgeous and the acoustics are great. Metered street parking - come earlier to find a spot and give yourself enough time to walk over. Bathrooms are available on the ground floor by the bar area. There’s a concession stand with snacks like candy alongside the merch.
During masks are required to be worn during the entirety of the show and proof of vaccination is shown prior to security. You’ll scan your tickets at the front (note that there are five lines) and then you’re in. There are a ton of great shows that come through the theater, and you’ll have a great time.
heidi garcia
awesome theater! it is so beautiful on the inside and the show was wonderful!! i hope to return. i was so amazing and i had a great view from my seat. such a large venue but great experience:)
Sara Nitikman Parks
The Pantages is always beautiful but it was so nice to see it again after so long away! They required masks throughout the performance and vaccinations for all adults, which was very comforting, so be sure to bring your vax card. Definitely would love to come back here and see a show again!

Hamilton was a great musical to see in person and the actors for the show of November 8th 2021 were a great talaneted bunch. Some casting wasn't as solid but others were phenomenal. I had the mezzanine seats in row A in about the center of row A looking directly at the stage.
Arthur Garcia
Another great show at the famous Pantages! Restrooms were clean and I love the coffee mugs they give. Beautiful venue. I suggest not sitting in the top on the sides though since the side speakers do detract from hearing the main singing.
Alex Novelo
Such a stunning theater! One can spend hours looking at the architecture, design, chandeliers, statues...there's so much to see! Great customer service throughout.
Zach Smith
I took my wife to The Hollywood Pantages for our 1st Wedding Anniversary to watch Hamilton, The Musical, and it did not disappoint! We are die-hard Hamilton fans and we've listened to the original cast performance, nearly 30 times now! We've got every song of Hamilton memorized, by heart, and yet there is something truly magical, even exhilarating, about watching the performance of Hamilton live. We were laughing hysterically in parts, mesmerized in other moments, moved to tears by the performances of Burn and It's Quiet Uptown, and completely and forever impressed and moved, by the end. The Los Angeles cast members might be just as good as the originals and I do not write that lightly. The excitement and fervor of The American cause for freedom, independence, and greatness has never been so brilliantly retold as Lin Manuel Miranda has done with his masterpiece, Hamilton. And with this musical, a long forgotten yet perhaps most important Founding Father of them all, Alexander Hamilton, has finally had his story and legacy properly told and finally preserved, for good, in this modern-day master work of music, singing, art, culture, ethnicity, diversity, and splendor. If Lin Manuel Miranda is not our generation's Shakespeare, I'm lost for words for who else to crown with that title!
jennifer b
Amazing theater! Every seat is a good seat. Beautiful decorations throughout the whole place. The snacks were super overpriced, as expected, but other than that the place is breathtaking.
Mohammad Jaddua
A lovely and well organized theater. To Kill A Mocking Bird was a beautiful production! My favorite performance was by Joey Collins who undeniably sold his character better than anyone else.
Angela Enriquez
What's not to love...Hollywood at it's best. Gorgeous art deco details throughout! No elevator so if you are handicapped buy seats on main level not mezzanine.
Jeremy
My wife and I went here to see Wicked! We really LOVED our experience! It is an awesome, beautiful, old theater! It was just an awesome experience! Worth every penny!
Susan Kay Hathaway
Rodgers & Hammerstein's THE KING AND I currently touring!
This is another beautiful theatre located on Hollywood BLvd at Argyrle.
Has 2703 seating capacity, World Renown, surrounded by many restaurants, and Landmarks.
The year is 2021 and I'm updating my review. HAMILTON on Stage.
Getting ready for the Holliday's. Happy 2022 to everyone.

Always a treat to come here, its beautiful clean and the employees are so helpful. The antique look is so gorgeous, almost like taking a step back in time. NOT a bad seat in the place. Tho it's a small venue you can't go wrong. The date night special was helpful. The BIG chocolate cookies are yummy we bought two!
Shauntae Shutz
Absolutely gorgeous theatre with fabulously talented actors! We saw Wicked and it was great!! During the intermission you can get drinks and snacks, the young man who assisted us was very friendly and handled the long line well :)
Ricardo Sevilla
Great Place for Concert...its actually Kodac Theatre Hlywood, CA. Sound System superb given enclosure of venue. Even bird seats have good view.
Sonal Patel
I love coming to see shows here.
We recently saw it Aladdin, which was excellent. There is plenty of parking nearby, it is about $20 usually. Lots of places to eat nearby. And the freeway entrance is closs. They offer a great variety of shows every year. There are booster seats for when you take your children.

This is a wonderful place to see any type of show. I went to see the Donna Summer musical. The production, music and just everything about the musical was perfect. The Pantages created a beautiful and warm atmosphere. The art deco design of the building was just so amazing and very detailed. I would come here again when i get the chance.
S.
All the staff are super nice! And it’s a beautiful theater.
Michael Neuendorff (Build and Balance)
This is a lovely theater. I was fortunate to see Hamilton there and was not only wowed by the performance, but also by the gorgeousness if the venue.
The Pantages has been meticulously preserved and it really shows in many fine details.
The location is great with multiple good spots within immediate walking distance. We grabbed some quick food at the Starbucks across the street. The Walk of Fame is also just around the corner.
A reasonable parking lot is just one block away across from the Capitol Records building.
I would love to see another play there in the future.

The ambiance and the shows as well as all the decor is absolutely stellar. The only reason this place gets 4 stars is the seats. I am 6 foot 4 and my legs were tucked for so long with minimal leg room. Less than an airplane and I started to feel like I was going to go crazy and my legs were hurting by the end of the show. Other than that everything was amazing. Just keep note that the drink are quite expensive. About 20 dollars a piece
Andre Guillaume
Great and amazing venue! Went to see Lion King and my mind was blown. Can't recommend this enough
Oscar H. Fajardo
Went to the opening for The Color Purple. Great performances. Amazing venue with plenty of decor to visually stimulate your evening. Lots of snacks and restrooms. Parking all around and metro stop across the street.
Chef Stevie B
I love the Hollywood Pantages theater. I feel like it's the closest thing to seeing a broadway show in New York. The inside is really nice. My friend took me to see the Book of Mormon. If you like inappropriate, off the wall comedy, then this is your show. I loved the show so much, I went back to see it again two days later. The reason why I gave it a 3 star is simple. The comfort of the seats are horrible. I thought I was alone because I'm a big guy. I noticed quite a few people moving their bodies from left to right and right to left. They really need to do something about that. Also, during the intermission, a woman asked me to remove my hat, she couldn't see very well. I took it off so she can enjoy the show as well. The theater should've taken into account tall, big, small, short, etc people. Second reason is we ordered one margarita and one pineapple juice with no alcohol since I don't drink. The cost? 23 bucks. I'm not a drinker but that's pretty expensive to pay that much.
Hussein Abou-Zeid
I saw cats play over here , the theater looks old, seating is comfort, and with affordable price , you have to arrange off-site parking which you can book along with ticket.
Mr Owl
You have to go here for live theater. It is THE BEST theater in LA for a show. If you're visiting LA make sure you grab tickets to a show. Or if you’re local be sure to check them out. Perfect for fam, friends, or a date. In addition, the architecture alone is worth the visit because the entire building was designed in an Art Defo fashion. As a designer this theater is a real world design spectacle. And one of the sexiest Art Deco real world examples you can find in LA.
Terri Boillin
Beautiful theater! We’ve seen Phantom, School of Rock, Alladin, and The Color Purple over the past few years. All great shows in a great venue. We park at a business lot located north of the theater. Sunshine Parking garage $10-$12 depending on show. Short walk to theater.
I am taking off one star due to bathroom issues. The line for the women’s restroom is crazy long. More women’s spaces and less men’s would solve that problem.
I do get a little nervous walking at night. Just my daughter and I. We’ve never had an issue though.
Updated. Jan. 2020. We saw Frozen here and sat in row QQ on the aisle. Great view! Wonderful production. But $8 for a can of soda! Wow!
Christine Sosa
I come here almost every month since I am a season ticket holder and it never disappoints. The staff is very friendly and always offer to help you find your seat, and the snacks are great! And you can never get over how beautiful the theater is inside!
Parking is something you have to really look for if you're looking to pay as little as you can. I'd recommend the lot to the left of The Museum of Death. $10 parking there.
Traci Ross
The historical venue offers many Broadway worthy productions. Consider taking the train and beat the traffic. The red line train will take you right to Hollywood and Vine, where you emerge directly in front of the Pantages. Season packages are a great way to make sure you get to the best shows!
Tish Gordon
This is not my 1st time coming here. This particular visit we saw A Bronx Tale. The theater is just as wonderful decorative and bright as I remember it. Regardless of where you sit everyone gets to see an amazing show! Hearing the music and the band perform simultaneously with the acting, For me puts it over the top! I highly recommend the pantages theater for anyone of all ages. A timeless classic! An intricate and important part of Hollywood and Theater! 🙏🏼💕
D E
I love this place. This is the place to go if you want to suspend reality while talented singers, dancers and actors make magic! Who doesn't need a break from the grind? This show I saw this time was Kinky Boots and it was flawless. The message is one that every single person can take home with them. We all have room to be more accepting and kind to each other. The cast was so nice afterwards and I got many many autographs. I am going to frame my program with a red frame!
Mandy Calder
Not impressed with their drinks policy. We purchased 2 expensive cocktails in the intermission ($15 each) only to be told we couldn’t take them back into the auditorium. We had 1 minute to drink them and ended up throwing most of it away. Really poor policy which should at least be explained to you before you buy drinks
Sean Alan Kindt
Beautiful theatre rich in architectural design and history. The premier theater for all things Broadway, west coast style. That being said the seats are very tight, with little leg room. Of they could find a way to redesign them, this would be a 5 star rating.
Janet Q
Every performance experienced here is mind blowing! The architecture of the theater alone is unbelievable. Always leave knowing I'll be back.
Kim Gregory
The theatre was is beautiful. The play Miss Saigon was awesome. The theatre is just too cold, you may need a sweater.
Alonzo Cudd
Been wanting to go here for a long time. Finally got a chance with opening night of "Cats". The theater is beautiful so definitely get there with enough time to look around a bit.
SEATS
We were a little worried that the view from our seats wouldn't be good given there location. We we in the balcony on the left front section. However the view was pretty good with only a portion of stage right blocked.
PARKING
There is a shopping center to the east side of the theater across the street with underground parking for $20 whick is typically the most you'll pay. There are also a bunch of random lots that vary in price. Get there early or you'll be walking a ways!
S.R. Frost
Absolutely love pantages! We go almost every month. I've never had any issues with the venue or staff. Everyone is pleasant. I've sat all around the theater and while of course some seats are better than others, I've always been able to see the stage and enjoy the show.
Ian Clark-Daugherty
The performance was absolutely excellent, and the theater is gorgeous. I was really blown away. I was lucky enough to see Hamilton multiple nights, one with an understudy; he was every bit as great as the main performer. I came away with a newfound love for the play!
I want to make special note that the staff at The Pantages were absolutely exceptional. Everyone from the ticket desk to the ushers went above and beyond and were consistently polite, knowledgeable, accommodating, and efficient. Beyond impressive.
Briredrose
I saw Anastasia with my grandmother, as a birthday gift to her. The show was a amazing. The only problem I had was the seating, I'm 5'11 and the seating is super close together. The theater was clean.
uneven pork
Honestly it was pretty elegant and just overall a good experience. The employees were nice and the place was clean. Very cool place
Sohm Kapila
This is such an iconic theatre. Built in 1930 a must see venue. Came to see Anastasia this evening. Sadly wasn't my kind of show. Preferred Beautiful which I saw last year here. The staff are lovely. Park down the road. And don't be all "once you pop you just can't stop" cos the toilet queues can be long! 😉 …
Diana Lopez
Beautiful theater. Great shows. Range of prices for tickets. Plenty of parking lots and food places around.
Astrid Muralles
(*recent visit) I watched a few shows at the Pantages, and I am always awe by every show. The staff is very friendly, very attentive. The drinks are expensive, no alcohol inside the theater. I definitely recommend that parents with children to read this... please I beg you to teach your children proper theater etiquette. The theater is for everyone but with that said everyone pays to watch a show not to hear you, and your children speak, and mess around. There is proper etiquette for the theater. That is to sit back, and enjoy the show. Please respect actors, they train intensively, and they're there to give us 100%. I really hate it when parents take small children to these amazing shows, the parents do nothing about it. My kids were always well-behaved that is because I taught them to be. I recently went to watch the King and I...by the way 5 star all the way🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 but in front first row were the worst parents, absolutely inconsiderate, obnoxious, please your children were fine, it was you. The entire 2 front rows were complaining about you. I hope you read this. The staff was very understanding, they were aware of the situation, apologize to all of us. We were invited to come again, which we did. The shows here are spectacular, the performers are always amazing. I cannot wait to come again.
Brett Ray
I love visiting here. This is true Hollywood History that lives now. Went for the Wicked Lottery with a friend. It’s a must visit to catch a Broadway show in LA.
JENNIFER H
It's a really beautiful theater. Art deco every where. It's clean and the staff are super helpful getting you to your seats. If you have to use the restroom prepare to wait in long lines. The bar here has cocktails beer and coffee at a premium. Just be prepared to finish all your drinks before the show. Love this place. Great place to see a show.
Jeff Derr
This theater is absolutely beautiful inside. The details on the ceiling walls and everything in it makes it stand out as one of the best and most beautiful places I visited to seeing the Performing Arts. The sound and the theater was absolutely perfect. There wasn't a bad seat in the house. We sat in the very back and far the seats away from the stage, and then no problem seeing the performance nor hearing the performance clearly. The only negative I would have about this place is that the bathrooms can get packed at times and the lines are very long. Other than that, a beautiful place to see a performance and I would definitely go again.
Ruth Berumen
The theater is beautiful. The staff is courteous and helpful. I saw Hamilton. It was phenomenal! Will see it again.
Liz M. Aguirre Nalagan
Amazing venue, very elegant comfortable seats! I saw Disney's "Aladdin", acoustics were great! I sat in front mezzanine and still could see actors expressions! I'm looking forward to returning to Hollywood Pantages for "Love Never Dies" by Andrew Lloyd Weber!
Nora Allstedt
Saw 'On Your Feet' this past weekend at the Pantages. Ushers were very helpful. Sat in the front row of the balcony this time. Beautiful theatre however the orchestra was really hot which made understanding the vocals difficult at times.
Donald Gordon
The sound system in the theater was great, I could clearly hear every word that was spoken or sung. Great view of the stage from any seat. Snack and bar areas are very crowded so get there early.
Dale Van Treese
One of the best preserved examples of classic Art Deco architecture in Los Angeles, it's iconic location near the corner of Hollywood and Vine, and consistently high quality Broadway productions make The Pantages a "must see" for almost any visitor to Hollywood.
Pro-tip: If your show has an intermission and you need to use the restroom, immediately make your way there. A full house equal long loo queues.
SW Choi
Stomp was performed. Theater maybe cold. Bring some thing warm to wear
Gloria Escover
We had a wonderful time at Hamilton today!
The music, singing and dance was superb.
Glad we were able to finally see this production.
Gary Jones
This Theatre is gorgeous and amazing. Good sight lines and great acoustics. Easy to get to and with plenty of restaurants and bars nearby. A great LA destination.
Ariel Navarrete Spahn
Amazing experience coming to this theater and seeing finding Neverland. It has a lot of parking ma
Close by, however you will end up paying around $20 for them, so carpool or be early and try to find street parking. Food inside was a little expensive too but that's normal for any theater in LA. Overall the experience was great, house full, temperature was nice, and service was excellent throughout the entire event.
Elbert V
We just saw Moulin Rouge (08-30-2022) and this musical is by far our favorite #1 so far🤩🎊😍🎉 …
Daniel Hirsch
This is a great, historic venue in the heart of Hollywood with a vintage feel, but modern everything else. Right on the Walk of Fame, near dozens of shops and restaurants, this theater is clean, comfortable and staffed with friendly staff. We saw Diseny's Frozen and it was great. Would recommend this venue and hope to return for Hamilton, which comes to LA in March 2020.
darren cornea
Great show, The Book of Mormon was outstanding. Well we are back again to watch Aladdin. Always a great time here with family. If you are not sure if you would like plays or not give the Pantages a try.
Richard Tod
From the outside the theater is not very impressive, but inside is beautiful, clean, and well kept. The lobby and theater are well lit, so you should have no problem finding your way. If you are unable or have difficulty walking up and/or down stairs, then I do not recommend you purchase any seats in the mezzanine/balcony section. As they do not have any elevators. Not sure if there are steps or ramp in the orchestra section. The staff was very kind and helpful locating your seats. My only real gripe with this theater are the actual seats. If you think an airplane has cramped seating, then this would shock you, as there is even less room. They are very narrow and rows are so close together at least in the mezzanine/balcony section. I'm about 5'10" 180 pounds and with me sitting upright and all the way back in the seat, my knees were hitting the seats in front of me. Overall though, I highly recommend this theater to see a production.
My daughter and I had gone there to watch the production of The Phantom of the Opera. As she had never seen it before. This was my fourth time and third time seeing it at the Pantages Theatre. Unfortunately we did not have the best seats. As you can see in the pictures, we had a clear view to the stage. Even after everyone was seated. We were just far away from the stage. The very last row in the mezzanine/balcony.
mark shramek
What's not to love about this place! The art deco, blue lit ceiling and everything else about it makes it a great spot to see shows. I highly recommend watching a show here. If your from out of town, see a show just to see the theater.
Eric Nay
Excellent facility. Great sound, amazing Art Deco surfaces. Good place to see Broadway shows in LA.
Leah M. Medrano
Pantages
Group sales dept was amazing and had been very accommodating during #covid. Alvin Rodriguez and Jay Burns...bravo! 👏 Thank you for dealing with me as I kept adding tickets.
If you don't go as a group, nothing to worry, there are tons of tickets still available on #ticketmaster. The stage set up is pretty good so wherever you sit, it's a good view!
Bathroom lines are super long so be prepared
Hamilton LA
- I've been to many #Hamilton shows, but this was the first matinee. Compared to other productions, the Sunday 1pm performance, I believe, was a bit toned down. The vocal projection, risque scenes, and even the letter during Eliza's burn didn't quite catch on fire as much. 🔥 But I get it, it's a matinee show. I cannot wait to go to another #LA show, but this time a night showing! If you plan to go with kids, matinee is your timeslot!
- A. Hamilton was good. Not wow, but good. Must be preserving his voice for the 8pm show?
-Lafayette still had his French accent when he turned to Thomas Jefferson. Still my favorite character though.
Parking
We had brunch at #Delphines at the #WHotel. We valet and crossed the street. Although one of our guests purchased a parking spot via @ticketmaster but when they pulled up, the lot was closed.
C. Kassity
The theatre itself is nice. Chairs are okay, not super comfortable if you're tall. Sound mixing is decent for basically all of the productions I've seen here. Prices of things are high and parking is across the street and is $16. Better to take Metro in and get off at Hollywood & Vine, especially if coming from the valley. Park for free at North Hollywood or Universal stations and take Red line just a few short stops for just a couple bucks. Return trip is still less than half the cost of parking.
Orlando Zambrano
Always such a good time. It's an absolute gem.
Pamela Balch
Love stepping back in time to the glory days of old Hollywood with all the glitz and glamour of the Pantages! From the velvet seats to the art deco decor you will love the experience. I would be happy watching someone sing the alphabet on that glorious stage. Don't miss the opportunity to enjoy this theatrical icon!
Bernie Hernandez
As always, had a great time!!
Moulin Rouge is a blast!!
Sandy Pilon
I love the Pantages. We went to see Wicked! Best cast ever. I have seen it 15 times. Still need to improve on their bathroom... Just not enough for the crowds. Absolutely ridiculous! That was my only gripe!
Mukaila Kazeem
The Pantages is such a Beautiful theater. So the shows here are always incredible. We Recently watched the Aladdin musical. The way they design the sets in such a small place is amazing. Parking is not a problem nearby. It's definitely a place to take people if you want to impress people.
Sean Charles
Been here for a couple of different shows now, and really enjoyed it, of course the show plays a massive roll in the review, but simply speaking the facilities, they are solid, and handle the large crowd adequately. Bathrooms and concessions are always a wait, but be patient both move along quickly. The interior of theater is also stunning and very classical, adding to overall ambiance and experience.
K K
Beautiful on the Broadway. This is my first time coming to the Pantages Theatre. It's so gorgeous with nice decoration. This is one of the old theaters in LA. I have been a few of them, I think Pantages is the best among them all. If you pay attention, the ceiling is really dedicated and neat. The sound system works perfectly. The AC was not deadly cold like a meat lodge, it was actually perfect temperature. We watched the broadway show- Beautiful Carole King musical. It's such a lovely play, with a list of famous songs. I was so amazed by how talented those performers are. The overall experience definitely exceeded my expectations. Will come back more!
Jacki Stevens
There are literally only 3 women's restrooms in the whole place, FYI. Also, the architecture and the details are amazingly art deco style.
Louise Brockmann
Best musical I've ever seen, sure to go again before it ends.
Arno Mazman
I have visited the theater a few times. Moulin Rouge was by far the best show ever.
Jesse Warner
Absolutely beautiful theater. Stage production i fantastic. Such a great venue.
chad babuk
This is a really nice spot. We enjoyed it immensely. It brings together the glamour of times gone by with Broadway theatre. It's clean a well maintained, a pleasure to see a show at.
et yoshi
Gorgeous theatre with friendly, helpful staff. Decent line of sight even in the nosebleed section. Only downside was expensive parking closest to the theatre--$30 for the evening behind the theatre. Parked 1/2 block south on Vine for $10. Was told by another theatre goer not to walk alone in the area if female at night.
Nic W
This place is fantastic. The ammount of detail and craftsmanship in this theater is amazing. The high celings, detsiled walls, and chandiliers, is amazing. We saw the waitress there and there is an oppurtunity to meet the cast of the play afterwards on the right side of the outside of the building. It is near the hollywood walk of fame which is incredible. It has the stars of famous people and their symbols. The shops are good too.
Vince La Luz
Stunning theater and always top notch performances. Just know that the bathrooms exist in another dimension and the 15 min intermission will turn into 1 min 37 seconds as soon as you get in the 2 mile line for them. Also, avoid the genderless bathroom as every single wheelchair in all of so cal will cut in front of you
Amy Graves
This was my first visit to this theater. It was an amazing experience to see Hamilton live on this Stage.
Karen A
The Pantages is truly a beautiful and iconic architectural masterpiece. The entire theatre is mesmerizing. All of the details are spectacular. I am a season ticket holder and every play we've seen has been fabulous (except for Cats. Mr. Man and I did not like that one). You must see a play here just to see the architecture. Last night we saw Moulin Rouge and the theatre blended excellently with the sets.
Vivian Bui
I had the best time ever watching the Miss SaiGon with my daughter.Never knew I would like that type of singing so much. Incredible production. Those were the most fantastic stages I've ever seen! Great cast of characters put on an emotional presentation that made us stand & cheer 😄. Definitely go see it. …
David Higbee
Gotta love the Pantages. A classic classy night out. We have been buying the season packages and loving it. The best part is the early access to future show tickets. My only complaint is they don't allow you to take your drinks into the theater with you.
Daniela Gaudino
We went to see CINDERELLA and we had a fabulous experience. This teather is extremely nice ,clean and well decorated. The only problem is that the SEATS aren't too comfortable. Parking is easy because you can park across the street
Taja Recek
The musical is amazing. The main actor is out of this world, so good in every aspect of the musical. The choreography and scenography are stunning. Only the staff in the theater was super annoying and interrupting during the entire show.
Noemi Diaz
Amazing place and great show! Saw Hello, Dolly and it was great. The only downside is during intermission, everyone goes to restrooms and (for both male and female) lines were horrendous! Both my husband and I barely made it back to our seats when show returned. Other than that, had a wonderful time here.
Leona
Wifi there is slow, it got rather cold inside...other than that it's an historic Venue in Hollywood...it's LA's "Broadway"
Aaron Tinkham
Great venue to see boardway shows. We have season tickets which includes six shows a year. Each year they have a season ticket holder appreciation event where we get to go on stage and in the dressing rooms, try food from local restaurants, and learn more about the venue. It's a beautiful theater with lots of history, including a shout out to UCLA on one of the walls!
Jeanette Aguilar
Loved it. The lion king was absolutely 💯 in my book. More than what expect it. …
Janet H
Beautiful iconic venue. Jagged Little Pill was amazing with such talented actors and singers. And Alanis Morisette graced us with her presence at the end!
Lee Ann Janek
The Pantages is the most beautiful theater in Los Angeles. Carol Burnett used to be an usher there. The sound system is perfect and the theater Built in 1930 the architecture has been fully restored. This is one of the last of old time Hollywood icons. I have seen several musicals here and enjoyed each one. If you’re wanting to see Hollywood at it finest then this is the place to go.
Adam Poynter
Gorgeous facility, first class traveling broadway shows pass through here. It's an old fashioned theater experience!
Maria Day
Beautiful theatre ...my first time being there I mean their seats are extremely small felt like I needed a shoe horn to get out but it's understandable since it is an old building and back then folks were like twigs 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Loved the Performance ""Hamilton"" a must do again in the future …
Marissa Viera
Amazing! I've seen wicked here several years ago and just a few weeks back saw frozen. Its incredible inside the theater. And the staff there are amazing and very helpful.
Missa Meas
We surprised our daughter with tickets to see Wicked for Christmas and the Theatre definitely did not disappoint! It was gorgeous and the staff was courteous and efficient. We had no issues finding and accessing our seats and we had a wonderful time.
Ronni Mayer
The band's sound was cranked up so loud that you could not understand the words to the songs. My ears were ringing by the end of the show. Perhaps that is Morrisettes music, but it gave me a giant headache!
Brittany Williams
Got to see the live changing musical Hamilton here. Was absolute amazing. I loved the architecture of the building and there was a lot to do around it while I was waiting for the show to start.
Isabella Ampudia
Saw moulin rouge here and it was fantastic! The interior of the building is so gorgeous and even in my cheap seats I could see very well. I also really liked that they actually enforced their mask policy. Bathroom lines looked kinda long but meh I expected that. Overall I had a wonderful time :)
Christian Henningsen
Amazing show (Aladdin) and such a vibrant theater. One of the most ideal theaters I've been too in a while with vaulting ceiling and theatrical decor.
We took our 5 year of daughter there for her birthday.
The only downside is they (security) will not let you bring in a snack bag over 3 ounces, or so. We had a medium sized bag of gummies and we had to leave it with security because they said it was "too big."
Just liz
Beautiful place. Saw Aladdin here which was phenomenal. I will be back sometime in the future for future shows! Genie was the funniest character there.
Agapekay Law
Great venue, beautiful lighting, production was incredible. A place you won't be disappointed
DJ/MC Josef Schein (Danse Forté Entertainment)
I love coming to this theatre.
This time I came for Fiddler on the Roof, which I had not seen since I was a child, which left me wishing for an encore.
Even before the play, I loved sitting in my seat and looking around at the opulence which harkens back to a time when theatre was king. The way it is maintained and technology updated, so we get the best theatrical experience possible. Be there early and stay seated till most people leave, because I find the exits to be too small for the multitudes that attend.
The Pantages Theatre is undoubtedly the gem of Hollywood.
John Miller
Always a wonderful time here.
Brendan Clark
Ornate detail and grand features decorate this theatre giving the ambiance for big name shows. Seats were comfortable and everything was clean. As other reviews state, going to the bathroom is next to impossible so go before the show! I barely made it to the men's room during intermission and stood in line for a half hour. The women's line was too long to find the end. Also, there is no alcohol allowed in the auditorium so you know ahead of time. If you are using a ride share service after the show, walk west to the end of the block, turn right, and walk another block. It will be MUCH easier to be out of the mayhem.
David Ramos
Absolutely beautiful theater, a time capsule of the great Art Deco era of building that sadly have either been destroyed or left to rot and decay. This theater has such detail in everything from the staircase to the bathrooms tile work.
Quannie Tsang
Magical things happen at this place. There are always amazing shows happening throughout the musical seasons. I have been lucky enough to see many musicals here. The concessions are quite pricey so make sure you eat before the show !
Pearce Quesenberry
Enjoyed an incredible performance of Hamilton this evening. Staff were very helpful. I strongly recommend seeing a show in this gorgeous theater!
Michelle Mixson
Beautiful interior, conveniently located right across street from Hollywood and Vine Metro Station. Great acoustics and well laid out visually...come see a play!
Andy Showen
Fabulous art deco building. Such a pleasant surprise
Vitor Cardoso
Just love this Theater. So beautiful and amazing view from everywhere.
Karun Chandy
Had the opportunity to catch Aladdin at the Pantages and it was absolutely fantastic! Beautiful theatre that complimented the artists and their performance.
Jenn Rogala
Such a beautiful theater and the show was fantastic! Definitely planning to go see another show there when I'm in town again.
Mark McNees
Drinks are pretty steep even byvLA standards. The show was great.
Ashley Page McGovern
Moulin Rouge!!! Amazing, inspiring, breathtaking performance.
Joseph Vaudreuil
Really beautiful architecture at this Broadway theater, truly stunning from the engraved side panels, to the finely crafted large wooden accent pieces in the ceiling, to the gorgeous chandelier that hangs from the center of the room. Views of the stage are mostly good from all around and the balcony center gives a unique vantage point. The speaker system is lively and the sound is well balanced. The lighting ability is purely incredible as well.
Don't know how our founding fathers would feel about an establishment not allowing even water inside and then charging a hugely inflated price for basic water and snacks. A normal bottle of water was $4 with no option to drink tap or any water fountains. That's crazy, greedy, and honestly amoral as water is an essential and basic human need.
Rex Gross
A beautiful and historical theater. Just diet a few weeks before you go the seats are a little tight
Luppita Garcia
I love seeing shows here! The only down side is the parking. Its the typical LA situation, good luck finding free parking. Seats arw great, the staff is usually helpful and friendly. They have a full service bar. The bathrooms are a bit outdated but functional. Ot would be nice if they would add more women bathrooms. The lines are ridiculous! Anyways, the shows are always great!
Lena Godwin
My daughter and I were lucky enough to see Hamilton here. The theater is absolutely beautiful, the staff were so nice and helpful. The usher even stopped to take our picture for us in our front row seats!
Manuel Reyes
A beautiful theater on the inside. Staff was great. My wife had a broken foot and they would bring the scooter down to us between acts and after the show. A few restaurants near by to walk to if you have time before the show.
RD twix13
Went to see Anastasia, it was lovely and I loved it. Staff are nice at directing you to ur seat. The Bar has different choices. Beautiful location and in Hollywood.
N Wei
One of the kind building. It's worth to see it. They have very good program. Parking is a problem.
Lorena Matarrita
Location will always be busy, so plan accordingly in terms of traffic. The Show cost us about $280 for 2 tickets. We sat in row VV, downstairs. Not worth the price for our view. We wanted at least 20 rows closer, but instead we were stuck under the mezzanine, trying to see and make out the facial expressions of the actors. IA Pantages doesn't really cater to the community. They charge exorbitant prices knowing the average person won't be able to afford to go. Parking across the street, $20. Fast and convenient, but expensive. Typical of LA though. The theater, smaller than broadway places in NY, is still breathtaking. Great photo ops if you're into that.
Marilyn Levy
Love this Theatre! Its always a pleasant experience, great shows, and lots of parking lots in the area
Brigham Freeth
The show was fantastic. The seats are small and a bit uncomfortable, especially if you bring things with you like a jacket
Heidi Frank
Beautiful theater. Very congested lots of people in the fantom of the Opera presentation, and I attended in a Wednesday. My daughters present for mother's day.
Cynthia Pimentel
Lovely old theatre with a lot of character. Great place to see a show
Sara Schultz (Schultzy)
Amazing Venue! I urge you to see a performance at this theatre. And then have a drink at the iconic Frolic Room! This venue is full of history and rich in art deco!
andrea lyn
Absolutely beautiful theatre just across the way from Hollywood and Vine Metro Redline Station.
Tony Escarzaga
This is a great theater to catch some of the best Broadway show on tour. The theater is absolutely stunning in its beauty and there really isn't a bad seat in the house. Ticket prices range from a special date out reasonable to insanely bank account busting depending on whether you want to be front and center or in the balcony but both feature a great show in a historic venue.
The lobby and restrooms are usually pretty crowded during preshow and intermission which comes from their historical status. The neighborhood outside is a typical Hollywood crowd of interesting people. Still, walking out to the unauthorized souvenirs vendors is not as taxing as it could be as you can look down and see the stars of Carol Channing, Lin Manuel Miranda, and The Beatles on the way back to your car.
If you want to see a Broadway show as they were interested to be performed, you can't go wrong visiting the Pantages Theater.
Ms Herbert
Wonderful and beautiful theatre. It’s definitely a trip worth making. My students loved the experience it was amazing. HAMILTON is a play everyone should watch and some of it is still relevant today.
Phil Archer
The BEST place to watch plays. The staff always friendly. Parking is convenient. The whole night will be FUN. NO matter what you see here at Pantages...
Andrzej Weichsel
Beautiful theater, great performance (Moulin Rouge)
Dan Martin
Great venue to see a play. A plus is it is right on Hollywood boulevard so after a show a person can take a walk down the street to enjoy a good meal or the many activities available.
Camilo Castro
Beautiful theatre.. efficiency is great
Zeibra Lemley
Love this theater, staff is always friendly and professional.
Tara Neumann
We have seen many shows here over the years, this is still one of our favorite venues. The sound is fantastic and there's not a bad seat in the house. Photo is taken from the back row, mezzanine.
Alec Bach
Great venue. Seats are small though and kinda crowded
Sunshine Daye
I love this venue. I've seen wicked, Lion King and Hamilton here. The staff are friendly and kind.
Rafael Gonzalez
Nice facilities and good show, come on a app ride because parking is not cheap or easy to to find...
Richard Schenkman
Excellent production of Moulin Rouge. The cast was almost entirely swings and understudies, and they were absolutely superb. it just goes to show you the talent and range of these Broadway performers.
Landy Lin
Came here for The Phantom of the Opera. It was a good show. This theatre gets a lot of Broadway shows, so it gets pricey.
Earriff Johnson
It's a very old theater. It's very spacious. The sound system is very good. I had a wonderful time there.
David Gutierrez
My niece has an interest in live performances and we went to watch Hamilton..It was an incredible performance. An for my first time enjoying the atmosphere, with incredible architecture in every way from staircases to the ceiling...I can't wait to go back...
Jason Melby
A great experience. Always a good show and a trip to the golden age of entertainment
M M
What a gorgeous theatre!! Went and saw the Frozen Musical and it was magical! Such a great place to visit!
Karmen Williams
Enjoyed the show!! Friendly staff and competent ushers!
chris cavins
Great venue to see an incredible play like Hamilton.
Gennadiy Rybalov
All facilities kept 👍. Need additional bathrooms but probably hard to accommodate. Great unforgettable night. Moulin Rouge was greatly organized. This is one of the best performances I've seen in Pantages …
Dawn Martin
Pantages is a beautiful theater. I've been to see Hamilton and previously Wicked (multiple times)
There's a convenient metro location right across the street.
alfred martinez
Orchestra row VV seat 10. This is what happens when you need 4 tickets and you buy them 2 days before. Seats were ok, till a tall lady sat in front on my wife, but with a little leaning it was ok.
Mae Reyes
Always uplifting to watch live performances, Hamilton was "genius" congratulations Lin Manuel and producers, directors, cast! Must see!!
Chad Engman
Just saw Wicked...what a great venue but the women's bathrooms seamed inadequate. Always a huge line there. The architecture is beautiful. Very 50s glam
Billie Tircuit Johnson
This is a beautiful theater. The ambiance and quality of performances offers experiences to last a lifetime.
Katie O'Neil
We had such a great experience seeing Hamilton! We were dropped off in front of the theatre and the staff were very helpful asking if we were ready to enter and then offering a wheelchair for our elderly grandmother. It would've been helpful if they let us know there weren't any elevators to get her to our seats but the ushers were very helpful in directing us and having the wheelchair ready during intermission as well as after the show. It is such a beautiful theatre and so great to see a show there!
Robyn Popescu
Attended this magnificent theater today to see the performance 'Fiddler On The Roof'. I was so impressed with this venue. The building is rich with tradition, with opulent lighting, walls and ceiling. The sound was crystal clear during the show. All of the staff were so accomodating to all of the attendees, assisting anyone with a handicap, who needed helo to go to the restroom. During the intermission, we were able to see where the Orchestra is (which was fascinating). The security was top notch- there was even a K-9 Dog wandering throughout the building, ensuring everyone's safety. I hope to attend more events at the Hollywood Pantages Theatre. It is truly Grand
King Caesar Copeland
Season ticket holders and I am in love with everything about this magical place.
Mark Quidem
A beautiful theatre that doesn't feel too big and away from the stage no matter where you sit. It brings a lot of the top productions to southern California.
James Gamboa
What a fabulous , beautiful historic landmark in the heart of Hollywood ! This Art Deco Theater is simply breathtaking . Thank God that the developers haven't destroyed it yet .
Rosa Alaniz
Beautiful place to see. It was a full house performance of Moulin Rouge. Fantastic performance and house was well prepared, staff was friendly and courteous. It was an awesome experience.
Vincent Bellitto
Beautiful theater doesnt seem to be any bad seats
George Robert
We went to see the A Bronx Tale. Great musical and a great venue so beautiful inside
Mauricio Fuentes
Pantages always has the best theatre in Los Angeles. Sometimes you can get good seats at a decent price. Opening nights celebrity watch.
Tina Harrison
There are no bad seats in the house. The Theatre is absolutely beautiful.
Evelyn Warfel
Felt amazing to be back to The Pantages Hollywood fir a show after being away for so long!!!! I was overwhelmed with excitement and joy to be back. The venue is such a beautiful one and even with the restrictions in place (need proof of. Vaccine to get in and you need to wear your mask), the experience felt close to normal. The staff where welcoming and helpful. Hamilton was phenomenal and I am happy to have seen it at my favorite theater. Can’t wait to be back!
Danny
Great place to visit. And take the kids. Hamilton great show.
Kendra Brady
My first Broadway show, Hamilton. Absolutely amazing!! Beautiful historic building. Service was prompt and very nice. Had a new life long memory. This was so wonderful. Will be back...soon!
ML Aguilar
Beautiful theater for watching the latest plays. Amazing art deco.
Guadalupe Cruz
I had an awesome time and the show was amazing 👏 …
Travis Bettfreund
What a beautiful theater. My parents tell me they used to see movies here. They always have a good show going on and it's a great experience to see it live!
Jason W
I've been here twice and was impressed both times. The show makes the night, but the ambiance is always perfect.
Leo Montero
Great vintage theatre, The place reaps with history. The architecture is amazing in a true hollywood fashion. The Bronx Tale was great but just a small issue that the sound was way too loud and it sounded somewhat distorted from the Mezz.
Kathleen Tang
Snack is pricy, intermissions is not long enough to eat or drink…don’t bother to get anything.
Sam McKinney
Beautiful theatre, great views and seats, and an amazing production of Hamilton.
Lupita Rodriguez
It's a great place, feels like time traveling in a movie.
William Perez
Great stage and great areas for mingling during intermission. The only thing I had a problem with was the seats they're so close to each other that there's not that much arm room.
Mark Weiner
Wonderful, absolutely fun and extremely well done, very glad we went.
ERICA JACOBSON
Always great to see a musical here. Moulin Rouge is awesome.
Ted Lee
restrooms r limited, try not to drink too much juice before going. especially the ladies, their line is always long
Manuel G.
Great theater for plays and musical just saw love never dies.
Roberta Guzman
I love this theater. It reminds me of old Hollywood. It has so much architectural detail, stadium seating, great sound and amazing shows.
Seung
Historic theater with a mini bar, but can't take your drinks to your seat and no food; they do sell snacks though. Most Broadway blockbusters are staged here
Chris Carandang
It was a great experience watching a Broadway at Hollywood Pantages Theater. Ushers are so helpful. Very comfortable and looking for your seat number is so easy, so organized.
Marti Baldecchi
Incredible venue, and an amazing show-Hamilton!!
Barb Cherry
Hamilton, of course, is fabulous. How many experiences in life leave us both laughing and crying? The Pantages was a perfect setting for Hamilton. Thank you so much to the cast, crew and theatre personnel for a wonderful evening!
Mariah Morgan
Performance was fantastic and everything I was hoping for! Staff were so incredible and thorough of health and safety regulations. Nothing negative to say about the human element of the experiance at all.
-1star is for the seating. Seats lack cushion and are extremely cramped, also lacking leg room in the slightest bit. Fiance and myself walked out with sore legs which is typical for his 6' 3" frame but I am only 5' 3 1/2". Our 5' 1" teenager was also in discomfort due to lack of leg room so please bear that in mind when booking tickets so you can make an informed decision and be able to more fully enjoy your experiance.
P. Allen Powers
Saw "CATS". AWESOME PERFORMANCES. Great theater, very 1920's Hollywood, a must experience.
kenneth padilla
It was great it's such a nice place to go see musicals
Todd A Andrews
Went to see School of Rock. Great show. Theater is beautiful! Staff is helpful and friendly.
Chris Freeman
What’s not to love about the Pantages? One of Ellies grand theaters, it remains a wonderful destination to see your play
rbbu 1019
I loved everything, the theater was lovely and the play was really good, made me think about a lot of things in my life I'd like to thank the cast and the company for an amazing show they did.
Chris Chris
PRETTY GOOD PLACE TO GO SEE A THEATRICAL SHOW. CLEAN ENVIRONMENT. DECENT PRICES.

Beautiful theater! Incredible shows. Definitely recommended for a great night in Hollywood!
Patricia Murphy
I've been here many times but I always sit in the orchestra section this time I went to see Phantom of the Opera which was fantastic I sat upstairs and WOW this theatre is gorgeous
Gary Der Arakelian
1 of the prettiest theaters in LA. Looks very much like the authentic theaters of London.
Jim Lingl
Great old theatre hosting a great (relatively) new musical hit - Hamilton. A grand time was had by all.
Andy Lucinda
Absolutely gorgeous theatre.
Plenty of parking lots around the venue.
In addition a lot of partner deals for food also nearby. Highly recommend the The Pie Hole opposite Pantages.
Jonathan Espinoza
Amazing exciting the venue is breath taking and all inspiringa.
Susan Pearson
Productions never disappoint. I am a season ticket holder and enjoy coming here frequently. We had an issue the last time we went and staff took care of it immediately. Very impressed with the service here.
MJ McCullough
Lovely staff, excellent theatre, beautiful architecture!
Grace Reyes
Enjoyed watching "LOVE NEVER DIES" the sequel to Phantom of the Opera! The interior of Hollywood Pantages Theatre is awesome. Stage play enthusiasts should watch a show at Pantages.
Diane Judd
Amazing show in a fantastic theater!!! Great event, Moulin Rouge...
Todd
Keep this beautiful part of LA history alive
Krissy Zilli
Not only is the venue gorgeous and a magical theater to visit, but the service is incredible! I emailed them the night my MIL was going to be there celebrating her birthday and Derek Maglinte, the general manager, wrote back within minutes. He made accommodations to make her night extra special and we couldn't be more grateful! Thank you, Derek and the staff of Pantages for being great humans. You have my business! :D
Pam Gantt
I’ve been to many shows at the Pantages and every seat is great. However, I do prefer lower mezzanine LC, Center or RC.
We were advised to come an hour before the show started to accommodate time for bag and vaccination card inspections. Fair warning: they will turn you away if you refuse to show proof of vaccinations or refuse to wear a mask the duration of the show. The entrance process did not take that long, but we were glad we came early anyway because the line for cocktails was long. Pro-tip: Before the show starts, pre-order and pay for the cocktails you intend to drink at intermission—there’s a long line at intermission too.
We enjoyed taking in every detail of the architecture and the restored decor before the show started.
The shows at the Pantages are always top notch productions.
William M Fillpot
Great theater and very friendly staff. The Seats are close together, but so is everyone elses seats, so if you want to see a show it is time to make a new friend. The last two times I went the performer's greeted the audience in the exit hall room, this time they did not. Great show and atmosphere.
Rhonda Krego
Love to cool old vibe of this place. Great venue for a concert.
Ninja Girl
I love this theater, it's so darn pretty. Getting to it is a nightmare but with the parking structure that opened up in the mall across from it, parking is super easy and that's a plus. If you have tickets for a show, they will park you in VIP so it's easy and quick to get to the theater and back on the structure. I really love that. The theater is an icon, it's ceilings and art deco decor are just beautiful. It's not too big, so any seat is a pretty good seat, though I prefer 1st row center in the mezzanine. Best seats as far as I'm concerned. Food and drink is as expected, expensive and not great but there are plenty of great places to eat around the Theatre that make making a day out of it worth it - though it's not in the best part of town, so don't drop your guard just because it's touristy and if you're taking kids, get a feel for the area first. It's not horrible, please don't get me wrong, but it is a VERY, VERY busy area and not all of it is child appropriate. The Pantages is a must-go for any theater fan, so GO! And enjoy!
A.M. CHRISMAN
HAMILTON!!!
It's EVERYTHING they have been saying and MORE!
The play had been going on for about 20 minutes and I already decided that I am soooooooo coming back!
The Pantages is great, just VERY cold! Since it was a hot day, we didn't bring inside any sweaters and we were FREEZING! (I normally run warm.)
So bring a sweater or light jacket and enjoy this magnificent performance! You won't be sorry! 🥰👍💜💙❤👍🥰
Jeff Ford
Hamilton....great play. The pantages is a fantastic icon.
Ethan Valencia
Amazing show, great seats, but be weary of tall people.
Michelle Lopez
Great show Gorgeous Theater!
Kristin Hansen
The is a great venue. Really great sound. Loop for hearing aids. Helpful for handicap and wheelchairs! Every detail was thought through. We would have eaten close by if we had known about some of the close restaurants. Beautiful interior. Comfortable seats, smaller, but at six feet tall I fit. Very steep incline for the aisles.
David Lopez
Have seen many shoes here and it is always a great time! It is a fun time to see a show with friends and family, maybe grab a bite to eat right before. My only complaint would be that the seats are extremely small, but other than that everything is perfect. I am definitely planning on purchasing some season tickets.
Lorrie Serafin
Amazing theatre...love seeing plays there...great memories with my family...
Adrian Cueva
Wonderful place! Great shows!
Juan Rodriguez
Amazing to think that theatres used to be this ornate... On the downside no need to have separate hot and cold faucets... Again old historic theater with some old historic quirks
Maureen C Garcia
This theater is beautiful. We saw Frozen the Musical here and loved it. The lighting and special effects were amazing. My 6 yr old at certain points was on his feet cheering. The sound in theater is outstanding. We sat in the Mezzanine and view was great.
Shomara Lopez
Such a beautiful theater. And Cats was amazing.
Jason Harrold
Great place to see a show. Located on Hollywood and Vine.
Probably one of the most iconic theaters in Hollywood.
Must see!
Shelley Gastelo
Great theater, great venue. The crowd control is phenomenal. The workers have it down nicely. Very easy to find parking and I felt safe and treated well by employees. Thank you! Great play of Frozen. Fully enjoyed! The special effects were very well done.
Robert Bojorquez
Great place to visit. Beautiful setting for a play or concert. Great seating. Definitely recommend.
Kimberly Worl
An iconic venue that is a must see when visiting Hollywood.
marcia Paiotti
My family and I love to go to Pantages. Parking is easy to find, inside the theater is so beautiful. Very clean place.
Christine Cliver
I've seen a few shows here and every one of them has been amazing. Think we will become regulars. Easy to get to unless during rush hour. Plenty of parking lots in the area. The building itself on the interior is gorgeous. Art Deco with beautiful architectural details. The venue is not hugs so there really isn't a bad seat in the house.
Reggie Peimont
The street view of one of Hollywood’s Best Theaters 🎭. A great 👍🏿 place to see a show. …
Christopher Michael
What an amazing and beautiful historical theater!!! The staff are curtious and charming, the building is well kept and clean. The experience is almost magical. The interior is picturesque and whimsical. There is not another theater quite like it! The two times I have been there have both been grand and memorable. I recommend taking loved ones there, or a very special someone, to create lasting memories that are highly impressionable.
Patti M
What a beautiful theater! The detail work is to be appreciated. The seats are very comfortable with good leg room. I look forward to seeing more shows there.
Jeff Cordeiro
Beautiful theater. Easy parking. Great performance.
WILD SALES
Aside from its history, the Pantsges is a really nice place to see musicals. Frozen was great, the evening was fantastic
Denise Adams
Always a great place to see a show.
Veronica Lopez
Went to go see jagged Little pill last night took my 15-year-old son he loved it had a great time.
Julian Jeppe
The Pantages Theater is such a wonderful place to see a play. Easy to get to and easy to get into!
Jason Carter
Excellent theatre to take in any performance. We all took our kids to see Frozen the day after Christmas as one of their gifts. We all had an excellent time. Staff were all friendly and facility was impeccable.
Patty Chan
Great location to watch a show. The building is worth the admission
Liana Soto
Saw Wicked here! Such a beautiful theater and show was amazing!
Ken
Although the outside isn't much, wait until you get inside - it's been beautifully restored to its original detailed art deco style. Big theater, 2800 seats, so make sure you get seats close up unless you like sitting far from the action. "Wicked" is probably the production best suited here.
Jessica Guillen
I always love coming to the Pantages. It has the vintage feel. All the seats are good.
Octave Barreau
I had the best time ever watching the Phantom with my wife! Never knew I would like that type of singing so much. Incredible production. Those were the most fantastic stages I've ever seen! Great cast of characters put on an emotional presentation that made us stand & cheer 😄. Definitely go see it. …
Marco Vasquez (MAV90808)
The production was great, I have to give it up for all the actors and all the guys behind the scene to make it possible. The stage look great.
Arnetta M.
Always a great venue for theater. Loved the 4 items for $28 at the concessions. The two beverages come in large souvenir cups which made it totally worth it.
Carolyn Hemming
Amazing interior, close parking in auxiliary lots, I like the W lot. Comfortable seats.
Jeff Dupont
A landmark of Hollywood that transports you back to the golden age of Hollywood the moment you walk through the doors. Excellent views from any seat in the house.
R. Phoenix Hernandez
Pantages books only the best of the national touring companies!
David Strickland
Great place to see a show. Not a bad seat in the house! Super close to mass transit!
John Perez
Beautiful theater. Watched Hamilton and Moulin Rouge here. Cant wait to come back for the next show.
blue bugaboo
You are not alone
I am here with you
Though we're far apart
You're always in my heart
But you are not alone
Via Garcia
We saw WICKED and it was amazing!!!! The staff here is the best, very helpful and friendly. I purchased these tickets at the box office and the girl (she had pink/purple hair) was super patient and sweet and helped me pick out my tickets. We sat in seat 301B and 302B the only issue I had with these was that I could see the performers line up a minute or so before coming on stage and I really didn't want that spoiler aside from that everything was great!
Jasmine Johnson
I have been to several musical theater plays at this venue. Beautifully decorated inside. Seats are well positioned so you can see stage well. Usually well staffed, so there is plenty of help in finding your seat, getting memorabilia or locating the restrooms.
Nice photo opportunities before and after each show. Parking structures located nearby, but can also reserve a parking space through online parking websites and pay ahead.
Use restroom before show or right before closing main doors to start show, otherwise very crowded during intermission and after show.
Sasha Silva
Hamilton was amazing and it was my last show as season ticket holder. If you can afford it's the best
Suzie Judd
We were at opening night for MOULIN ROUGE!!! Most incredible show I have ever seen hands down and that includes shows in London and New York
E M J
I recently had a chance to visit Pantages Theatre for the first time with the family and witnessed one of the most beautiful theatres around L. A.! This is truly one of the gems that everyone should visit once in their lifetime. The interior architecture and decor can easily make one feel stepping back in history and also welcomes everyone like a celebrity! Powder rooms are also gorgeous and carefully adorned with details that are incredible. Look forward to visiting again in the future~
Bruin Guy
The Pantages is a great venue to see a play. I recommend parking at the lot on Vine St. just south of Selma Avenue. Don't prepay for parking online or you'll get screwed over. I prepaid $10 for parking at the Sunset Media Center garage only to find out that the gate never even opened. Got screwed out of $10!
Carol Liglet
I saw Cinderella on a Tuesday evening. The play was excellent. All the costumes were beautiful. A twist to the story and a little humor was incorporated into the story that was really cute and refreshing.
The theater, itself, is gorgeous and there isn't a bad seat in the house. Great place to see a play!
Elizabeth Lutz
Been here twice already to watch my favorite Broadway shows! Love this place!
Kerry Sempelsz
Lovely theatre but getting in and out if of it is very crowded and slow. No seat is a bad seat!
Al V
I have watch two of my favorite plays here Evita and The Phantom of the Opera. Never disappoints.
Judy Gomez
Pantages is a wonderful theater. I took my granddaughter to see : Wicked, Cats, Phantom of the Opera. The last one we liked the best. There are no bad seats in the theater. I will definitely go back many times more.
Bradley Pierce
This place is more of an experience than just the show. This classic venue is one of the best places to see a Broadway show in Los Angeles. The ambience is unmatched and the decor feels like you’ve stepped back in time in all of the best ways. The bars make great drinks, and the views in the theater are all really good.
Blair Stanford
Love this old theater. Have seen dozens of performances here and all of them professionally done. Parking can be a challenge and generally runs about $20-25 for nearby lots. You can take a metro train to station across the street. Lots of cool celebrity stars to look at on sidewalk. Get season tickets if you can afford!
Alphonsine Pelletier
We went there to see the show Frozen. What an amazing place! It's in Hollywood so unless you live close, you will be doing some driving but it's worth it. It's quite a majestic place, very theatrical, makes you forget for a couple of hours that you are still in L.A. We forgot to add parking in our reservation but were able to find a very affordable parking lot two blocks away, but then it was during the week, not sure it would have been that easy on a weekend.
Sonya Keith
Pee before you go. The bathroom lines are long and the restroom is hard to find. There is no elevator so take that into account when you get tix
Julian V
Beautiful inside. Seating is set up to provide a great view of the stage. The attendants where professional. The seats where easy to find. Parking was close and the theater crowd where very polite. Only problem was not enough restrooms and no leg room.
Gabriel Douglas
Amazing theater. Great sightlines from balcony. Saw Summer the Musical here! Amazing show.
Tessa Carrera
Half the point of seeing a show there is experiencing the theatre itself! It gorgeous. I've never seen a theatre with architecture like it. I saw Aladdin off Broadway there an the cast was excellent. Not sure when I'll be able to go back, but if the opportunity presented itself I would not hesitate to get tickets for a show there again!
Angela Nguyen
I love the pantages and the way it looks. The ceiling is so beautiful. I recommend using the restroom before the show because at intermission the line is crazy long. I watched Aladdin and it was such a great show! We got really good seats too.
B. P.
Excellent theater. Was my first time going and it has such history in it you can feel it, and see as you look around. The snacks are pricy, but they need some revenue as well. Bathrooms smelled a little. Seats are a bit cramped.
Otherwise I had an enjoyable experience.
(I saw Blue Man Group's "speechless" show)
Lions Tent
Went to see Hamilton here. The performance was outstanding, but the sound quality could have been a bit better. Some of the vocals were drowned out by the music. They probably could use another couple of restrooms too. During intermission, the lines were all the way across the theatre! Comfortable seating, and overall a good place to see a show.
Juliana Wilson
What an amazing theatre. Do yourself a favor and purchase at the box office and save the price of the convenience fee at ticket Master. We saved almost 100 bucks on 3 tickets. All seats are good seats why pay double to selit 6 feet away. It is a small theatre and I heard it is haunted. Great time. Concession s are outrageous 7 dollars for a bottle of water.
Valerie Contreras
We have visited the Pantages many times. The shows are always brilliant! The staff is also very friendly and attentive. The lavish decorations inside the building are amazing. I loved looking around at all the decor. They do have a bar inside and a concession stand with water, hot cocoa, snacks candy and cookies. Always a fun place to visit.
Samantha Farst
Such a beautiful theater! Really enjoyed seeing Cats performed there!
Tionna Tiara Gantt
Beautiful theater and friendly staff
Elia Marie Sanchez Orona
Public Parking is around $25.00. All sorts of People walking, talking, taking pictures and the longest lines to use the bathrooms might get to you if it's your first time in Hollywood. Only snack sized items inside for purchase and the Drinks aren't cheap. It was well worth the experience. Its everything you hear about, such an awesome time.
Squally Hunter
Amazing service! We saw Aladdin the musical and it was great but the service was great as well. The usher leads you to your seat and if it's dark puts a flash light where the steps are and crouched down when you get to your seat so he doesn't disturb the other guests watching the show and shows you where to sit. There also so helpful there. Beautiful theater what more could you ask for?
Lalaine Ramos
3/31- My first time at this theatre and now I know why it is one of my brother's favorites! Parking was convenient. The lobby has a nostalgic feel to it. Orchestra seating in the L row was perfect :). Great acoustics. Loved all of it!
Janet Li Tall
Great shows. My daughter and I watched Aladdin.
Kevin Mullett (Kev)
Love seeing shows here. It is the best theater around. We got to see phantom of the opera and it was really great. The seats are big enough for a large person like me not having to feel squished. I absolutely love it
Devin Lauermann
Gorgeous theatre. Sat in the row G of the mezzanine which has a great view of the stage. There really isn't a bad seat in the house, but if you are short, seeing over people can be a challenge. I would recommend the orchestra level for shorter people. Parking can range from $20-$30 depending on where you park.
Gabriela King Sing
No complaints! You go in and sit down. The seats could be replaced for some nicer new ones but it's a small detail. I've never sat outside of Orchestra so can't say what the view is like on the Mezzanine but from Orchestra it's all good. Except sure when you get the cheapest ones you might miss things from the edge of the stage but money means better sight!
Avraham Baruch Goldshtein “TXUS DLK”
Very nice theater to go be entertained; They are showing, again for their yearly bout, The Phantom of the Opera, and I really recommend it. I loved it when I saw it last and I'm sure this year's production is just as good, if not better. The theater is aged, but in excellent shape, that is to say, it's an iconic and most likely historic theater. Go there and do not hesitate.
Kyle Sawyer
They really work hard to bring amazing shows to Los Angeles. This venue is beautiful and such a delight to visit. If you had a chance to visit this theatre I'd say go! Now if only we could get some original stage plays made and put on here, that would be simply outstanding!
James Bell
Hamilton at the Pantages Theater. Mid week show had less congestion and more appeal for me. If you get the chance, make the effort and enjoy a truly iconic vista that will leave a memory that will last a lifetime.
Michael Travis
This is a classic old Hollywood style theater that offers Broadway musical style performances. The facilities are beautiful and you can always count on an excellent time since it's reputation means that only the best perform there. Plus they have season tickets now, which is a very interesting option if you are a fan of the theater generally.
Jenna Lauren
Great venue! Most if not all seats have a great-decent view and the seats are comfortable. There are lots of food and parking choices on all sides of Pantages so you should have no issues. Always leave early though as you will almost always encounter traffic both going and coming to the venue because of its location.
Carrie Slakoff
The most beautiful venue. The ceiling is incredible.
Lynette Wilson (quiltladylynette)
We got to go to Phantom of the Opera in this gorgeous theater! The production was phenomenal! The orchestra was also incredible! We had been looking forward to this two since Christmas and it did not disappoint, I highly recommend this theater! I will go back when I have the chance.
Danielle Baker
I came this year to see Frozen the musical and it was absolutely beautiful. The theater is so beautiful and has a great vibe. I couldn't believe the amazing merchandise they had for this show. They had a scarf with mini Olaf's at a great quality and a frozen custom Swarovski snowflake necklace. There were a lot of cool jackets as well. Everyone was so friendly and even though the snacks were a little on the expensive side and not very appetizing, I had an amazing time. I would love to see even more interactive items for guests but it was a perfect first experience here in LA! The performers are amazing!
Jonathan Renteria
Such a great historic venue. Always has a great show.
Andy Shaw (Xspade)
Worked in there for a week, can't say enough about how amazing all the stage hands made us feel welcome and took care of every bit of our production. The building is awesome and the crowds were large. Glad to be able to work in a theater of this caliber. If you have a chance to see a show here do it!!! It's awesome!
Fortunate Perezu
Okay, this place is ridiculously beautiful. You have to see it to understand. My only issue is they blow AC in there to were it's uncomfortable to go through a 3hr show in that cold.
Alison Acaster
Why is the sound so hit and miss? I just saw Rent and the sound was poorly mixed. It seems to vary from show to show, a shame for the amount of money they make that they can't get a consistently great sound.
Heather Key
Went to to see Frozen. Our seats were center right first mezzanine. Loved the show. Ordered packing ahead and it was a breeze to park and get out. Theater was beautiful, clean staff courteous. We look forward to Hamilton.
Mark Stokes
Beautiful venue. They really need to update the seats. Knees were pushed into the back of the seat ahead of me. Hard to hear performers at times.
Anthony Turgman
Love the Pantages Theater. Have been a season ticket holder for over 3 years and this is the best theater experience you can get in LA. The only downsides are the long lines for concessions and bathrooms during intermission and even before the shows start. Other than that, world class venue and a world class staff with excellent shows.
Get here early. Have a look around. Enjoy the history. Bars are on the landing on the way up to the Mezzanine. They're not the best, and write pricey, but they're worth it. Concessions are reasonably priced compared to movie theaters. Waters are $2 and snacks are $5. I don't think you can bring your own snacks inside, but if you're creative you can figure out how to get them inside without anyone becoming the wiser.
Parking is very accessible in the area. Several lots around the block above and below Hollywood Blvd that range in-between 15-25 bucks. You could always take Metro as well.

The Pantages is the most beautiful theater I've ever been in.

Seats are great and wow! the theater is still so beautiful after all these years. Can't wait to go back! Metro convenient-lets you out right across the street. No need to deal with parking and traffic.

The Pantages is so beautiful! The firt show I saw was Wicked and then I just recently saw Hamilton. My experiences have been magical!

Always magical!! The Pantages Theatre is really beautiful. If you have a chance book tickets to a show. I'm always impressed how quickly they can get everyone in the building. Helpful ushers are a plenty.

Great, watched Panthom of the Opera. The place itself is beautiful. They sell snacks, beers and mixed drinks. Prices are as expected of a theater. Entrance was fast. Be sure to have smaller bags as there is a limit to the size. The only con are the restrooms. Even with an 18minute intermission, there were many attendees still in line and many were going in way past it restarted.

The architecture for one, is amazing. As many years as I've been going there, I notice something new every time. There is almost not a bad seat in the house, the view is great from just about everywhere. I personally love going there, because it kind of transports you to a bygone era for Hollywood. If you're into theater, I highly recommend the pantages !!!

I absolutely love going to this theater, I very much enjoy the architecture and amazing productions. I have now become a season pass holder and have enjoyed every show that’s been part of the package. Shows that I have absolutely enjoyed include Wicked, Hello Dolly, Les Miserables, Cats and so many more!

One of the best things in Hollywood ! I have been going to Pantages Theatre for many years - each and every show has been a wonderful experience. It is easy to find off the freeway, parking is plentiful and affordable every seat is a good seat. The audience is appreciative, as the performances are marvelous.

Perfect venue for "Broadway" in LA, located near lots of good food spots so you can eat before/after too. Always nice and friendly ushers/staff, quality performances. It should be noted that some performances also have sign language concurrently being performed on the left side of the stage which may be a bit distracting, in that case just sit more on the right of the theater. I personally wasn't bothered by this but just a heads up. Love this place!

Beautiful historic theater with comfortable seats, balanced sound, and excellent access to the metro red line. Seems important to note that the incredibly long bathroom lines are not as intimidating as they appear - the facilities are large and the line moves quickly :) Some folks will wait along the side on Argyle to greet cast members on their way out.

I love the place, we saw Wicked, Book of Mormon and Hamilton there.

Enjoyed the theatre and being in the midst of Old Hollywood History. "Special." Seats were comfortable for me. Nice audience.Restrooms are assessable. Wait time for restrooms ,Not Bad. The Women's line somewhat longer than Men's. Carpeted floors. Assess for the handicapped was easy to find. Staff: very accomodatimg. Bars are available. Nimble food was expensive ,but not over the top. The show: Donna Summer Play: Energy and tremendous singing. Good production... Oops: Parking in Hollywood: $20.00 and up...Check it out,Don Owens

Outstanding Art Deco theater, great sized venue, staff is patient, friendly and very pleasant. Very accommodating with the physically challenged. Easy to find parking across the street. Venues close by for after theater socializing. Always a terrific time.

Came here to watch Wicked! Had a great time and had fantastic seats at the beginning of Row J. The theater is clean and has excellent staff members! The restroom was also clean and they had staff members directing traffic in there! Lol the interior of the theater is gorgeous and the sound was fantastic! I highly recommend coming to this historical theater!

We go here every couple of years. The red line depot is just across the street so the easiest way to get there. Parking lots are available throughout the area and can be reserved ahead of time to guarantee a spot. I was initially nervous about the restriction to all electric ticketing, but they made it easy with app, email, or test message entry. It was great to send everyone their tickets electronically so we did not need for everyone to get there before going in. Upon entry, there is a snack/drink counter which is nice, Souvenir stand for every show so far. The bathrooms on both sides of the first floor are usually packed while the ones on the second floor are much less crowded. The art deco decorations are still a marvel every time I go in. Seating is allowed about 30 min prior to the show and finding your seat is easy. OK leg room for someone 6'4".
The sound system is only fair. which is the only drawback.

Go here for all our Broadway shows. There are a few restaurants nearby that can be used for food before or after the show. The seats are small and not very deep but comfortable enough to sit through a show. The bathrooms though well maintained always have a really bad traffic flow issue and there is always a really long line.

I love the Pantages! It's so venerable and wonderfully familiar and such a part of Hollywood history. Great venue for musicals and plays with plenty of room, easy viewing from all seat locations, a nice subdued lighting atmosphere, easy to get to location with several parking garages within a block plus now MetroLink I think is in the next block East on Hollywood Blvd. I've been to this venue probably 30 times for various plays including seeing Wicked 7 times there and it's been the best every time I visit. Bathroom lines get pretty hectic though - fair warning, and it can be a madhouse outside while waiting to get in but how bad can that be? At least you've got tickets!

This is by far one of my favorite theaters. It's beautiful, small, easily accessible and had the best shows. Parking is abundant in many lots, so many options. Purchased a mini season package last year and it was perfect

My spouse and I love the Art deco interior with incredible productions over the many years living in southern California. We saw tonight Donna Summer Musical. It was awesome. Along with an excellent cast and musicians, the story of the life of La Donna Gaines told not only about the music of the "Disco Queen", but also how her faith in God built her life and led her to what her purpose in life was all about. We rated it a "10".

Beautiful beautiful theater it's very old Hollywood

Beautiful place to see a play.

We came here to see Wicked and the theatre really delivers the old school theatre feel reminiscent of what you find in downtown Manhattan or Chicago for a Broadway show. The atrium and theatre itself are overflowing with character and intricacies to admire. Even from the balcony the view and acoustics were great. Hopefully a show of interest comes to town again soon so we can go back.

Many wonderful theatrical memories over the last 40 years. But HAMILTON was a special treat!
Lily Martini
Beautiful place but considering the shortage of bathroom stalls, you would think the intermission break would be a tad longer! And it was so damn cold :(
Michael Michael (Mike)
Nice theatre. Staff was smiling and ready to help. Parking isn't so much fun, either are the street people you have to pass to get there, but that's not the theaters fault.

Went to watch Wicked and was blown away by the architecture and performance. There wasn't alot of affordable parking available during show time hours ($20 parking) but they offer online parking purchases for $15. Theatre was clean. Every seat seemed to have a good view!

I loved it and its beautiful. I went to see the 25th anniversary national tour performance and it was amazing. However, what i did not enjoy was people showing up late and being escorted down the isles blocking my view of the stage every so often all throughout the performance. Maybe im just picky but it really ruined it for me.... However the staff was super nice and helpful and it was extremely clean. I would definitely go again to see another show.

Me and my wife try to come see a show here at least once a year. It's a great venue. Not a bad seat in the house. We have sat in the balcony, orchestra, middle and sides and while some seats are better than others none of them are bad. Restroom lines always look terrible but move quicker than they look. Season passes are available for those who have time to do a play every few months. Some of the best shows I've seen here are wicked and Aladdin
