Reviews of The Smith Center for the Performing Arts
Austin Rosenthal
My mom and I attended the performance of The Band's Visit at The Smith Center for the Performing Arts last weekend.
She is a long-time season ticket holder and we have great seats for this stunning venue where traveling Broadway shows perform.
Parking is $5 in the garage and it is a short walk from the parking garage to the venue. They even offer golf cart shuttles for those who may need extra assistance.
The Smith Center for the Performing Arts is located next to Symphony Park, which is a beautiful, small open rectangular space with sculpture at each end and benches for quiet contemplation.
If it is a nice day (and it was), you can even have a picnic in the park before or after the performance.
Doors to the venue opened 1 hour before showtime and the doors to the seating area opened 30 minutes before the show.
By the showtime at 2pm, the venue was over 95% full.
I highly recommend seeing Broadway shows at The Smith Center for the Performing Arts.

My family and I have attended two different shows at The Smith Center (Wicked and Six). During both events, we didn't experience anything negative about this place. Parking wasn't an issue, the staff were super friendly, prices for snacks were "reasonable," and the entire establishment was clean...including the bathrooms. During Wicked, we sat in the orchestra area and thought the seating was perfect for us. During Six, we sat in the center gallery area and felt the seating was complimentary in seeing the entire choreography. Not sure if there's a "bad seat" in this place, but I'm sure there are some that are less desirable; however, I haven't confronted those yet. There's nothing more to say except if you attend an evening show here, try to get there early and go up to the balcony - great ambiance! The attached photos are from the balcony area. Thanks for the 2x wonderful experience!
David Rosenduft
The center was perfect, the only issue I had was when the actors spoke their lines I had trouble hearing them clearly(Box L, Row 1). Wow what a place, spent most of my theater days enjoying Broadway shows in NYC. Please don't miss any of the shows.

Amazing theater in Las Vegas Smith Center for the Performing Arts. We saw amazing ballet. Two hours of wonderful performances! The place is absolutely beautiful. Time well spent. Money well spent. Fabulous it all!
Michael Frank
Saw the performance of "A Christmas Carol" here which was excellent. The building is astonishing reproduction of Deco art with top of the line structural materials, better than many original art deco structures. The acoustics are beautiful seating is comfortable and if you love Deco architecture you will fall in love with this place.
Laura Chamberlain
We saw Dracula. The ballet performance was amazing. Just a fun night out. Everyone that works there are exceptional people. Pics are 20 minutes before the 1st act. Beautiful inside and our seats were nice. It was our first time and certainly not our last.

Went to see Kodo One Earth Tour at the Smith Center. Not only was the show great but it was a great theater. They made parking and navigating the parking and walking to the theater very easy with the very helpful attendants helping with parking passes and crossing the busy street. Entering the theater felt very secure with the check-ins and the metal detectors. Seating was easy to find with the helpful and friendly attendants. The theater itself feels very grand and beautiful. It's not new but it looks and feels new. I would definitely go back to see another show.
Bob Kerner
Absolutely beautiful venue. We went to see The Voice winner Alisan Porter sing. She was great!
Your best bet, if you've never been there before, is to do a drive by and figure out where the front entrance is and where you're going to park.
If you have an online option to pay for your parking before you get there, do it. Doing so will save you some time and frustration.

My wife and I recently went to The Smith’s center to check out one of the symphony’s they had . It was incredible this isn’t our first time here or our last. Doesn’t seem like there’s a bad seat in the house . The Las Vegas philharmonic was on stage for all the classics. What a phenomenal show they performed . Reasonably priced a few options for drinks or snacks .
Galina Enev
We loved the building! It's just one of a kind. The performance and show were great. The only bad thing was our seating but for next time I'll know better not to buy balcony seating.
Dana Bennett
A truly beautiful venue. I’ve seen many shows here and always have a wonderful time. Our most recent seats to see Moulin Rouge were the third row in the box tier K and I could barely see due to the people in front of me. If no one was in front of us, the view would have been perfect! I will never buy those seats again. The front row of the box tier is prime. Of course it’s always best to sit in the orchestra.
Charles Clawson
Very nice performing arts center. Love the art deco architecture and design. Strong, timeless, Americana feel. Tickets are electronic and much easier to access than some professional sports teams (SD Padres I'm talking to you and MLB). Parking has changed since the days of parking outside in the parking lot. Plan accordingly.

SHEN YUN!!!!
If you haven't seen it, you have to treat yourself. Shen Yun is Chinese translates to the beauty of divine beings dancing in the heavens; and that's exactly what you will see when you go. The production is staged at the beautiful Smith Center near North Premium outlet mall. The production is approximately two hours and fifteen minutes with a fifteen minute intermission in the middle. The production has variations of dance in the Chinese culture that are followed by gorgeous costumes full of colors. The orchestra played beautifully. If you missed the production this year, be sure to add it to the calendar for next year!!
Val Glasscock
Seeing Six was amazing!!! The facility is beautiful, the lines moved quickly, and with many ways to get up and into the seating, getting to our gallery box seats was so easy. The view was a little obstructed, but it was nice to see that they were before we went when we purchased the tickets.
Adam “HotCityHomes.com” Sorensen
Love the place. Very handicap friendly. Great location. Sound and every seat its great. We sat balcony right handicap seats.
Uriel Corza
I came here to volunteer for the Nevada Ballet Theatre and I do not regret coming. The box seating was excellent and I really was taken aback when I saw the size if the stage. I loved the lighting and sound quality, I hope I can come back for the experience again!
Paulina Biggs Sparkuhl
Fabulous performance of the MOULIN ROUGE. And what a beautiful place to see it. We got seats at a box which are great for getting drinks and being able to move around without disturbing your neighbors.
kenneth burgess
Remarkable place my seat straight back from center stage second level incredible view. Sound quality amazing.
Mike B
Cute theatre nicely situated away from the vegas strip. Use a car service to and from which was convenient and efficient. The inside of the theatre is quaint with a few bars set up for efficient service. The staff are friendly — all wore masks (if that’s important to you) — and were polite and professional. It was a great show, and there really isn’t a bad seat in the house. Though there was smoke used during the show it really stayed on stage (great air circulation). Several shows are coming to this theatre and if I lived closer I’d definitely consider season tickets. Overall a great experience with staff and patrons. Everyone was great. Love this theatre. Will definitely keep it in mind for our next trip to Vegas.

Seeing Hamilton for free with Mom was Amazing!!! Mom and my niece saw Wicked and had a GREAT TIME. Saw Cats last night with Mom as the 1st show to open during the pandemic (PACKED HOUSE). I'll see Boney James 3/26/22, My 1st Jazz Concert & I can't wait!! 🥰🎷🎵 …
Sharon Motley
I attended my granddaughter's concert for Las Vegas Academy of Arts. Reynolds Hall is so beautiful and the acoustics are very good.
Brianna Chourasia (Bree)
The Smith Center (though overly priced - as most shows are in Vegas) was well organized in its flow of car and people traffic. We arrived about 40 minutes prior to showtime and it was already very crowded. So my advice is to usually leave fairly early! The doors open for most shows 60 minutes prior to showtime.
The picture is the view from seats E304 and E305 in the Right Orchestra. The seats are fairly comfortable.
Karen K
Had the pleasure of seeing SIX. What an amazing show! One of my all time favorites. First time visiting The Smith Center as I live outside of Nevada. Great theater! Comfortable seating, excellent view from our seats. Tickets were purchased day before show, last minute, and I was worried as they were on the floor, m, all the way to the side. No obstacles in our view. Sound, songs were clear and strong.
Happened to meet Michelle Brown after show. I enthusiastically told her how impress I was with the theater. Then found out she is director of sponsorship and publications. She was impressive. Thankful for such a lovely theater and the cast and crew of SIX!!!
Joseph Sunderland
A great venue for a concert or play. Went to see Six and the performance was flawless. No problems at all with the sound or lights. The actresses were all great singers.
Kj O
I love that Las Vegas has a proper theater venue! The building is beautiful and the selections they choose for their Broadway seasons are always good. We just saw Hamilton and it was so much fun. The sound was good for this show, however we have been to other shows here and found that the sound on the first couple nights of a show's run can start off a little rough but gets better towards the end of the run. It does get a little congested getting out after a show and if you need an elevator it can be a long wait. Parking is close and reasonably priced at $6 for self parking. Valet is available for $12. Our seats for Hamilton were in the left gallery and the view was pretty good.
xkristyleex
Amazing theater! I recommend box seats but really any seat in that building is beautiful.
Eloisa Fasseur
Six was playing tonight. Fantastic show and great singers. The performers made it fun, rocking, and memorable! The Smith Center really needs to lower their prices for the last 3 rows of the balcony because you can't see anything of value like expressions nor nuances without a set of binoculars. You can hear perfectly and don't look down until you are sitting down after climbing those steps!
Gingah Bell
Amazing theater! Not a bad seat in the house and Hamilton was AMAZING
Steve W
We come to LV regularly and always catch at least one show at the Smith Center. This is one of the better community theaters we’ve attended. Staff are always friendly and helpful. The venue has great acoustics and comfortable seating. The food is always fresh and tasty at a reasonable price. Well worth it to attend a performance here away from the intense night life of Vegas.
Tina Padovese
I absolutely love the Smith Center. I highly recommend that everyone enjoys at least one show in their lifetime.
Mark Brosius
Classic venue, great accoustically. And beautiful. Fantastic!!
Amand “The Gallant Gentleman” Edvard
Came here to see Six the Musical. Utterly floored me. Sat in the gallery center and had a phenomenal view of the show and no issues with sound or comfort. All staff were delightfully polite and the premises were clean and well managed. If you've got the cash I'd highly recommend coming here!
Adam Turney
This place is just amazing! The architecture is beautiful outside and inside. The acoustics are phenomenal inside the venue and there have been so many fantastic shows since it opened. Pretty much every seat provides a good view, even the balcony spots (although, it can be a bit scary at the top because the steps get a bit steep). It has been wonderful having the Smith Center in Las Vegas so we aren't forced to see shows only in the casinos.
TURKEY RED
We saw Hamilton. It was a great show. The theater is beautiful. Well kept and clean. I've been coming here for a few years and never have a complaint. The staff are friendly. The traffic directors are quick and keep things flowing upon exiting. Parking is close by. I believe to have better parking you should reserve in advance. (Check online)
Lori A
If you have the opportunity to attend a show, so many talented people perform here.
Bobby Slaughter
Beautifully designed and excellent service. The only knock was the sound from some of the Hamilton performers; I couldn't some of the performers due to lousy microphone placement or poor adjustment of the mixing board to accommodatethe acoustics of the theater. . The King was the only performer who could be clearly heard. I really wanted to enjoy this show..
frederick foster
This a major triumph for the performing arts in Southern Nevada. A monument to art deco, it echos design elements from the Hoover Dam.
Joel Atella
Wonderful theater and performing arts center. Very clean, friendly staff, we had a great time!
D M
Gorgeous building. Everyone working there was extremely nice and accommodating.
Tori Thesimi302
I've waited my entire life for a theater to open here and bring my life obsession to town. I've been able to check off 4 things on my bucket list since it opened. So beyond amazing the shows they bring to town and there is no bad seat in the entire theater. I'm in love😍😍😍 …
Jona Jones
A gem in the desert! A trip to the Smith Center is always a fabulously fun experience. Parking is ample and easy to access. Customer service is always first rate from security to the ushers. You feel taken care of when visiting the Smith Center. I love this, as I feel it is a reflection of the Nevada spirit. Every employee takes pride in their work. Who wouldn't take pride in working there? The architecture is breathtakingly gorgeous. One feels as though they have stepped back in time when sitting in the lobby sipping on something devine during an intermission. The qualty of offerings presented at the Smith Center is exceptional and range in selections for every taste and background. Come visit when in town...Get away from the STRIP for a few hours. I promise, you will be happy you did.
steve Smith
Everything here a 5 star visit from the time you park or valet your car to everyone you come in contact with. Volunteers are so kind and helpful. Fair prices for beverages not strip prices. It's the very best of Las Vegas.
joleene salas
Wow. My husband and I love musicals. We have been to many shows, but this was our first at the Smith Center. It is beautiful! We saw the performance of Hamilton. Excellent!
Anna Pruett
Recently watched Hamilton here in the gallery (cheapest) seats and the view of the stage was still great. The food in the mezzanine lounge was pretty good as well. Definitely will see a show here again
Kathy Parris
I have been to the Smith Center several times and I have no complaints whatsoever. Great shows along with great customer service with beautiful architecture. As far as seating, there isn't a bad seat in the house in my opinion.
Tyffnee Stewart
This place is so nice! And the acoustics are wonderful. We went to see Australian Pink Floyd and it was phenomenal. Now we want to come back and watch Dracula!
Beth Dachshund
The Nutcracker performance was amazing! Smith center has an outstanding atmosphere four stars given because they lack restaurants/coffee bars that are available while waiting for the venue to open especially when it's cold like at Christmas.
TomokoOfficial
The main auditorium is not too big, it has an intimate, authentic and antique vibe, yet great stage, lighting and sound quality. #1 place for music and enrollment lovers in Vegas.
Richard Klapproth
Saw the Nutcracker very nice production. The staff was friendly and helpful. Looks like all the seats had good view. Parking was easy to get into and out.
Greg Erin Richmond
Good show and beautiful venue- but it was sooo warm in there. The air didn’t come on until the last 10 minutes of the show. It was a sauna before then. Box seats were poorly marked - hard to find the right seats. Can’t pre-buy refreshments for intermission like you can at a lot of other venues.
Eileen De Cesare
Beautiful venue. Great seats from just about any level. The performance of Annie was great. The vocals and talent of the cast were amazing.
AJ C
Beautiful architecture and facilities. The steeply raked levels give clear views for all but the balcony was a lot higher/further than expected. Next time would choose floor seats.
So Maryn
Huge performance theater on multiple levels. Hard to get to exact seat once the show starts. Good they have monitors outside theatre so you can follow the show while late or going to the bathroom but these monitors are low quality video so hard to see. The parking situation before the show needs improvement. Even arriving 15 mins before show started ended up being late bc of slow parking line or flow of traffic even with attendants.
Richard Sisneros
Went to see "SIX". Very impressed with all the volunteers from parking, ticket takers, to ushers. Prepaid parking a breeze. Show was great. Smith Center a beautiful venue.
Kevin Ramsey
A night at the theater is still special. Beautiful building, great sound, courteous staff.
I wish for better food, drink options but maybe that wwould be messy. I do like how clean it is.
Jun J
The architecture of the theater was just fantastic. There was a really good size crowd. If you're into ballet and the performing arts. Then you should be coming here.
Emily Lysogorski
The theater was beautiful, the way pre-show was set up was festive for the Nutcracker performance. The show was spectacular.
**My only contention is the bar over serves people. I say this because I was in a frey of overly intoxicated adults trying to leave the show and witnessed a few stumbles from other patrons. Driving out from the parking for the theater was scary too due to knowing people were drinking and driving.
Andrea Carbajal
Such an amazing experience. We saw the Dracula Ballet. Ithe interior of the building is architecturally beautiful. I got to dress up and have a nice elegant night.
Edward Steller
Very classy place. The sound system could probably use an update, but not bad.
Kreg Klaver
What an amazing time at the smiths center seeing the Nutcracker over Christmas break with the family. I dont watch ballet much but when I do this is how you do ballet! Everything was great, very impressed with the entire performance.
Nike Diaz
AMAZING, I saw Hamilton and it was glorious, the cast was all just so perfect, I was in the nosebleeds but not disappointed whatsoever, I just regret not having enough time to wait by the stage door, I absolutely adored the play and would've loved to get autographs
Aidan Ricks
A butiful facility for concerts. I came to see the Zions youth preform and the sound is amazing. The seating is on the smaller side but you can see the stage well from any seating.
Pam Moss
First time and will definitely go back. KANSAS was worth the long wait
michelle bender
I love coming here to enjoy the Philharmonic but I wish I got the opportunity to sing here more! Beautiful Art Deco inspired architecture with an elegant interior and plenty to do before the show and at intermission.
Keshona Isaacksz
Very beautiful. The staff was friendly and the performance was great. I will continue to look to see what they are offering. They do have paid parking that is close to the building and a parking garage.
Jack Persinger
Great place went to see the Zions youth symphony and it was fantastic
Edward Jameel
actually 4.5 stars..
beautiful, clean can see and hear everything from all areas. the staff were professional, pleasant and helpful.
Alexander Hamilton a must see for everyone.. that is my opinion and recommendation..
Steve Valenti
It's the most beautiful theater in this city!
Every show I've seen there has been fantastic.
Miss Paulina
Just Wow! It was beautiful. The Nutcracker was amazing 👏🏼 fun times. …
Gabby Szewczyk
Saw the Nutcracker here. My first time at the Smith Center! I loved it! Great seats, love the decor and hot chocolate bar!
Rachael Valdez
Saw Hamilton,
The seats are comfortable (near orchestra)
The performance was incredible. Truly a lot of heart and soul went into this production.
Brittany Dorner
Absolutely breathtaking venue with amazing programming!
K Frank
One of the best venues I've been to in Las Vegas. Really nice design acoustics were perfect not a bad seat in the place.
beth ellyn rosenthal
I love the Smith Center. I lived in Las Vegas for almost two decades before it appeared. Now I can't live without the productions I see there.
Did you know the Smith Center is a Tony award winner. The Smith Center had produce Hadestown, which won a Tony in 2019. So the producers got a statue too. Congrats!
I came from Dallas and loved the Morton Meyerson Symphony Center. I never thought another concert hall-expect maybe Sydney-- could top it. But this is Las Vegas and the founders did!
I am a Broadway Las Vegas ticket holder and love Reynolds Hall. There is not a bad seat in the place even though the top balcony should have FAA clearance.
The acoustics are near perfect.
I used to go to New York City once a year to see shows. No need now. Tony winners like The Bands Visit and Hadestown arrive the next season! And our venue is so much nicer than the 100-year-old Broadway houses.
I love the Art Deco decor, which is supposed to reflect the architecture at Hoover Dam. The elevators, the light fixtures--everything is gloriously understated Art Deco.
There are bars everywhere so you can buy coffee and drinks before the show and during intermission.
My favorite haunt is Myron's Cabaret Jazz. It's an intimate venue with seating at tables--there's a limited menu and full bar service. I sit upstairs because you are almost right over the stage and get the best views.
Some of my favorite Broadway performers like Aaron Tveit and Sutton Foster had their own shows there. Amazing!
The city built some new parking lots so now it's $5 to park for a show. You can buy your ticket online so it couldn't be easier.
I wish I owned a Tesla. Because if I did, I could charge it during the show since every parking lot has electric charging stations.
The coffee shop, Sambalatte, has an outdoor courtyard that is secluded. It's beautifully landscaped. What a great place to enjoy a coffee after the show!
Sarah B
This is an exquisitely beautiful venue. Each time I visit, I am in awe of the elegance and splendor of the surroundings. From the marble floors, to the beautiful sculptures and chandeliers, the Smith Center is itself a work of art. The performance we saw was equally beautiful and inspiring, the Nutcracker by the Nevada Ballet Theater. I highly recommend this special Christmas performance.
Jennifer Hyman
It is beautiful and so glamorous here! We love watching shows here!
Christina Szukala
Took kids to see a show, it was excellent. Convenient parking, beautiful building, nice staff. Great experience!
Georgia Sidoris
My all time favorite this year! The cast, script & set was excellent!
Kathryn Smith
Gorgeous building and always an exciting Broadway musical or other top rate production going on! So thankful we have the Smith Center here in Vegas!
AJ Rimel
The show was great but the theater was a bit cold so bundle up if you go.
Thomas Gross
The Smith Center is a beautiful, first-class facility with excellent acoustics, comfortable seating, and astounding art-deco decor.
emma olive
The Smith Center is such a beautiful place to get out & have a fun date night! Hubby & I love to come see different productions or shows through the year. The staff is always sweet, friendly, & so helpful! If you have never been able to attend make an effort to see a show or production. You won’t regret it.
Joy Kohl
Went to see Neil deGrasse Tyson at the Reynolds Hal. The Art Deco of this building is beautiful, I just want to hang out and photograph everything
Michelle Griffith
Always clean and beautifully decorated. We have seen multiple plays and ballets here. Loved the Nutcracker ballet!!
Bee Rosales
This venue is 1st class! Always feel transported to a different location! Great performances always!
Zach Jensen
Had an amazing time being in a building like this and experiencing a live concert. The acoustics were amazing in this concert hall.
Sheila Hinkel
Another fabulous night! The Philharmonic and Chorus did a wonderful job bringing Christmas into our hearts. Perfect music selection accompanied by two perfect vocalists. The early arrival allowed us to see the Christmas troupe and Santa and his sleigh. Nicely done! Beautifully decorated. Thank you!
Bonnie Tancredi
Fantastic! Moulin Rouge was a great performance. The acoustics and clarity of sound was great. Staff was very helpful and courteous.
Peter Steinbrenner
Wonderful venue. To kill a mocking bird was one of the best non-musical plays I have seen.
Eva Burke
The "Happy Together Tour" was outstanding. Great venue! My husband sang along to every song and had no voice for 2+ days. Beautiful building & everything was organized from seating, refreshments & parking. It was the 10th anniversary, good for you Vegas!
Paula Fialkoff
Expensive. It's hard to get season tickets. Entertainment second to none. One of the few places left where we can still dress up.
Pamela Fowler
I love seeing plays at the Smith Center! My favorites have been Dear Evan Hanson, Lion King, Wicked, Hamilton and Phantom of the Opera. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I'm looking forward to the next season.
Chelsea Becht
Always a joy. Everyone is professional and courteous and the space is always spotlessly clean. Never had a bad experience here.
Yo Pipes
Great place for locals to enjoy quality entertainment and fine arts. A beautiful building located in the heart of the city not far from Downtown. Just big enough to give the feel of a great Broadway theater but small enough to experience an intimate setting. A must experience if you are a Vegas Local!
dawn cartermallin
The original spin when the Smith Center was built is that it would bring theatre to the residents of Las Vegas at reasonable prices and free parking. Now the city like everything else is building and catering to tourists in Symphony Park with garage parking fees. The Smith Center is lovely but many locals are now giving up on it.
Deborah Cooper
Just saw, To Kill a mockingbird. It was an excellent production. I love this theatre. Can't wait for my next visit
michele williams
The smith center is the perfect place to see a Broadway show. Moulin Rouge was fantastic
A must see
Brian Bartolome (Ultra Vegas)
This Place is Beautiful inside and out. We had seats for Alice in Wonderland on the Right Parterre Box had the view was Awesome! Highly recommend seeing a show here.
Curtis Steadman
The nutcracker ballet dancers and orchestra were awesome. And the Smith center staff was excellent.
Dianne Montoya
It's a beautiful place, and great place to watch some wonderful Broadway shows. Love never dies was fantastic. This is my daughters and mine favorite place for Mom/Daughter night. Well worth the price.
greer Perkins
This was the best theater experience I have had in decades. So convenient. And production was amazing. This will be a regular spot for me.
Jared Dayton
Great cultural addition to downtown las vegas. Opened relatively recently, venue featured very inclined seating which allows for little to no obstruction of view from practically any seat. Well designed acoustics also brought in a magical nutcracker performance. What i like is tthey don't just rely on the performamce itself to be the only experience but also add activities in the lobby like photo op with a nutcracker and children's choir singing Christmas carols. Nice touch! Pro tip: the Plaza hotel offers a free escalade transfer from their front dive to the smith center on show nights and have PRIME pickup spot back to Plaza... So have a nice dinner at Oscars then free ride to the smith center and avoid the hassle back to Plaza! Who, also, has free valet. #winning.
Lliane Covington
Gorgeous venue. The art deco is simply amazing. Very clean and great acoustics. The seats are plush and comfortable.
Alexander Deschaine
Staff was accommodating and proffesional, drinks we're priced at what I would expect for an event like that. Will recommend to friends and family
Corey Mount
Amazing theater in downtown Las Vegas. Old world deco style. Similar to Hoover dam. Great acoustic and theater set up. Post modern. Great sound and concessions.
Tammy Herder
Super cool. Very fancy. They need more staff for the drink line.
Elvia Rombough
OMG the nutcracker was amazing the only reason I went was because of my very best friend and so happy I did I was on the edge of my seat the entire time it is definitely a must see
David Shore
Beautiful venue. My wife and I have been there numerous times and it never fails to impress.
Jamie Egbert
We love the plays the Smith Center brings! They are always well done productions in an amazing theater!
Tara Tyler
I love this place! I enjoyed the show and how it brought me back to my childhood. The sound system made it all the better.
Tom Kohnman
One of the best places to see a show in Las Vegas.
Especially Myrons cabaret.
At about 240seats. Even if you are in the last row. You will still have a great spot.
The talent that plays here are incredible.
And the drink prices are pretty fair.
My white russians run $11-$13 depending on who's playing.
They are made well as well
Helen Shreve
Happy customer. Have enjoyed our season tickets for three years now.
Franklin Smith
Had a great time saw a show and it was fantastic if you get a chance to go do so you wont regret it
Rebecca Gibson
A beautiful theater! Their sound system is top notch, and we love attending plays here.
Robert Blount
There's not a bad seat in the theater. One is clearly able to see the stage and the players from the balcony. Seating aisles are spacious thankfully and the ambiance of the Smith Center makes one feel as if one isn't in Las Vegas anymore, but a metropolis known for a successful performing arts community.
Kevin Kraft
We I. Las Vegas are so lucky to have the Smith center. The artdeco architecture is beautiful and is a modernized reproduction of a Broadway theater. The seats are roomy and comfortable and the bar pours a great drink. The shows they have booked have been wonderful, I'm looking forward to next season's line up.
Justin Buzoff
This place has an absolutely amazing season of shows every single year. This is about my 5th year coming to shoes here, and I have never regretted going to one. Absolute recommendation to anyone in Vegas
Melisa
I love the overall atmosphere here. I feel like there aren't any really terrible seats either. The food is pretty good as well if you want to eat before a show. During Broadway shows the line for a drink can be pretty long. Not worth it in my opinion if you aren't near the front end during a 15 minute intermission. The times I've had a drink though, they have been well made.
It just feels like a special night out anytime I'm at The Smith Center.
Ash Mendez
I went to see the Phantom of the Opera here and it was my first time visiting the Smith Center. The place overall was absolutely stunning. Any staff we encountered was nice and professional. They even offered us a golf cart shuttle to/from the parking lot. The website seem to try it's best to depict the seating of the theater. At this time, I'll only comment on where my seats were for this specific show. We purchased 2 seats in the front center of the balcony area. I tried to read reviews before purchasing. One said it was high up, but since they were the only 2 seats next to each other remaining and the closest, we took a chance. The balcony level is on the 5th floor. The safety bar in front of us was a little distracting since we are kind of looking down to watch the show. However, it seemed, every other row had the bar up there. The show also starts fairly promptly and it gets pitch black and difficult to try to walk to your seat, especially dead center. The show itself was spectacular! I didn't see much obstruction that was listed for some of the other seats. Next time I'll choose any other location but the balcony.
Scintilla of Truth
Firstly, the ushers were fantastic! Very polite, approachable and knowledgeable of the place. There were ushers every corner to answer questions. The place is pretty neat! Clean! including the restrooms! The ambiance brings a sense of calm and positive vibes. If you haven’t been, go see a show.
Anna
Always an amazing night at the Smith Center! Beautiful venue, views and culture.
Chris Wallace
The Smith Center is the best place to see a show in Vegas. Period. We got box seats (Box B I believe) to see Wicked and it was lovely. However, the back row (there's only 2 rows) of the box seats are not as nice as the front row, so buyer beware. The front row has cup holders, the back does not. The back row seats are bar stool height to see over the first row, which was not the most comfortable for a long show but worth it to see over the people in front of you. The box seats closest to the stage also have an obscured view of the back of the stage, which is why it gets 4 stars. If you pay extra money for box seats, the view should not be obscured.

I've been here twice, first time with my youngest school and second time to see Annie, and both times were a great experience.
D Moon
Saw NBTs "Dracula" here.
Nice venue with a Great performance!
Will return for more events 👍😁👍 …
denise osborne-orlowsky
What a fabulous theatre/auditorium. Reminds me a little of the Royal Albert Hall in London but of course RAH is a tad older!! Seating is comfy but not overly spacious because I had to keep standing up to let people pass. Also, they placed cup holders so low down in between the seats, it was difficult to even know they were there. Nevertheless a worthy venue and I loved the valet parking, it was superbly efficient, thank you.
jackie chambers dahling
Great place to watch a NY show. The sound is amazing and no bad seat in the house.
Holly Erker Realtor
The most amazing show yet!
Melissa Vravis
We got to see the Wild Kratts and it was such an energized show! Great for kids and adults! I love Reynolds Hall and the seats are comfortable and spaced appropriately.
Leann S.
Absolutely stunning. Beautiful inside and out. It's a scene, one that EVERYONE should have an opportunity to experience ❤️
Khan Vegas
This place is great to have fun evening out to the theater. It is a fantastic stage and built to have a view wherever you are seated in the audience. I have had the chance to see The Nutcracker and Sleeling Beauty here. It is unfotunately closed temporarily because of Covid-19 but I hope to come here and enjoy this place as soon as things go back to normal
Alaine Tingey
Fun venue, great seats, awesome people inside. The only drawback was the guys directing traffic on the way in. Rude, not helpful, and didn't start the evening off well at all. I get that their job is to keep people moving but, it would be great to have signs or helpful people for the different parking garages. The guys on the way out were fabulous!
Andy Gray
Great theatre, easy to get to from the strip. Drinks and snacks way overpriced but you expect that. Staff were friendly, parking well managed and show was amazing!!!
Erica Badilla
Went to see the Nutcracker and it was an amazing experience!! The service was impeccable and can't say enough how much I love this place!!
Chad Flood
Beautiful Architecture, amazing performance of Hamilton, stunning performance for my first broadway experience!!!
Jenapher Hutchison
We attended a special sensory-needs-aware showing of The Lion King. As always, the staff were friendly and the space was gorgeous.
Cat P.
Wow, a very beautiful venue! The sound was amazing. We sat in the balcony and honestly not bad seats. The staff was extremely helpful and very friendly. I can't wait to return to see another show.
Deborah Cooper

Genne Onzo
Wonderful night! Very well run short lines. Great service at the bar.
Ramon Montez
Stunning art deco architecture that feels like you are going back in time. Smith Center has a great rotation of shows including Broadway hits like Hamilton and The Book of Mormon! Truly a great experience for locals and visitors alike. A must-visit venue when you are in Las Vegas!
Sandy Ashmore
Central location offers a variety entertainment in comfortable beautiful buildings. We arrived early and there was a coffee shop for us to wait in.
Gary Peterman
Great Shows.
Saw the Nutcracker.
Upscale and great staff in a beautiful Theatre
Gertrude Hara
The musical performance was great. They did a wonderful job with their cast. But the balcony wasn't that great, we seniors had the hardest time seeing and steps too high to walk up and down. We should have been in the gallery. Aloha, Gertie!
Setta Freeman
Fist time at The Smith Center. Saw Travis Tritt. Building is beautiful inside and out! New parking structures were nice and easy to get in and out of. Customer service was awesome!!
Yvonne Schuman
Pure Joy
The Chris Botti concert was pure joy, magical. Outstanding performances from each of the musicians and guest artists. What a privilege to have been there.

Beautiful facility. Went to see The nutcracker over the holiday season. Beautiful
Erika Washington
I always love seeing shows here. It's the best performance venue in Las Vegas.
I. A.
This venue is extremely beautiful and elegant. Very clean. Friendly and helpful staff. From parking attendants, to Security to Ushers. The performance we watched was The Nutcracker, such an amazing performance! Can't wait till next season.
Parking is also very close.
Kyle Bearly
Went to see Kansas and have been to other events. Beautiful venue with great ambiance and sound.
Jessica May
In Reynolds Hall, from any seat in the house, you get the best view and the best sound. Truly, any show seen at the Smith Center is amazing! The staff are always friendly, always helpful, and very attentive.
Make sure to obey any "no cell phone use" or "no recording/photography" rules, and you'll be fine!
This building has definitely stayed beautiful through the years! This year (2022) marks 10 years for the Smith Center being in operation! Still gorgeous, still magnificent performances!
Deidre Burke
It's a fantastic venue for any performance. Been there several times. Common performed tonight and he did not dissapoint. Easy access and parking free for now. Let's hope it stays that way. Not a lot of free parking in Vegas like it use to be.
Pamela M
A magnificent addition to the Las Vegas valley. It is a world class performing arts center. My only complaint is the allowance of recording videos during musical performances. It's highly annoying to so many of us. You can tell by the number of hands that go up to block the screens in front of them. A picture or two is fine, but the long videos are not! But the center and performances are stellar.
John Heiner
Being from Reno and seeing a show there this is so different. It is so much bigger in everyway. Such a beautiful place.
Alberto Micker
We enjoyed the play very much, the theater is top notch with the ADA as well the bathroom
Demo Dogg
Elegant venue! Clean and well kept. Usher staff was amazing and it left me wanting to return from out if state to attend another event.
karen lien
We watched the Christmas program with choir, orchestra and soloists. I have seen every vegas show I care to and this was a wonderful Christmas interlude. Full bar with service to the box at intermission. Acapella opera singers in the reception area. Beautifully decorated. Dress was dress casual as we went at 2 pm. I imagine you could really dress up at night.
Kimberly Breen
Just went and saw jagged little pill and we thought it was fantastic. Up beat and the music just meshed so well with the play.
Pat RAMSON
nice place.
staff friendly and helpful.
wife very much enjoyed the show: SIX the musicicl.
Daniel Sherer
What a beautiful venue! Excellent acoustics and sight-lines.
Linda D.
Over several weeks period, I needed to call the Box Office number a few times because using the Internet was not the easiest for me. I'm new to Las Vegas and not familiar with The Smith Center. I didn't know if I could manage to attend the shows because of the distance to walk to my seat, etc. After buying my season 2021-'22 tickets, my health needs were changing and I needed to change where I sat. Not only did the ticket ladies treat me sweetly and PATIENTLY, they reassured me they were happy to help me again! The day of the concerts, the valet fellows were so kind and anxious to see that I was safely taken care of. Then the usher bringing me a wheelchair stayed by my side, showing all consideration to help me. One time I was so early that I had two ushers stay with me while we waited for the concert doors to open. Of course, they had to sit through my telling them my life story while advising them how to live theirs! The bartender had a good sense of humor when I named a drink that hasn't been used since probably the 1960s! I can't say enough nice things about The Smith Center staff and volunteers! EVERYONE..so polite and very generous of their time! And to top all of that, while being seated for my first attendance, I was handed a personal thank you card for the small donation I had given when I bought the tickets! I am so grateful that I can continue to attend musicals, dance and all the Center has to offer as I did in my former California city, even though I thought I may have to give it up because of my need now to use a wheelchair. The theater is the what I love and The Smith Center is a magnificent venue to take it all in!
Batman Lin
This is one of the best concert venues that I have been too. Located in Las Vegas, it has all of the charm of Lincoln Center, but with a more pristine look. The entire building was immaculate and the staff and security team friendly and helpful
The view from the boxes or tiers were excellent in relation to seeing the stage.
Watching the artist Boney James performing here was an added treat to my stay in Vegas.
Would highly recommend seeing a show here, if you are in the area.
stephen n
Went last night to see Hamilton ,we bought tickets a little late were seated in the upper box seats on the side ,the view was horrible and the acoustics were also bad could not understand what the performers were saying ,the only way to really see the performance was to lead out over the wall/rail .the venue should disclose the lack of being able to see the performance
Pilar Muana
Always been a fan of this place. Great venue to watch Broadway shows.
Susan Saline Lipsky
Las Vegas Philharmonic is amazing always fresh and new. Love ❤️ the special guests.
Veronica Baca
Beautiful place! Guest service is AMAZING!!!
Ryland Maves
From parking to finding our seats, the staff was beyond amazing. The facility itself is beautiful and clean.
Sandra Woodring-Adams
The Center opened in 2012 and is very sophisticated and very modernized with an old-world Flair. Acoustics of beautiful the setting is Sublime. I would encourage anyone to see a production there. The only thing that I what has changed is soft chairs rather than hard chairs and that was in a venue that is more or less a jazz club so it's to be expected. Parking is easy and the staff was so accommodating. I really have nothing bad to say about this place
Jill Jaeger
Saw Michael Grimm for my friend's bday. We had great seats in front. This guy can sing. I loved all the songs. Drink service had issues. The server mixed our credit card up with another table and "couldn't" fix it. My friend had call his card company. Messy, one bad server. The show was awesome. The building is beautiful. We got a parking ticket so be mindful of signs.
Lory Buno
I attended the Johnny Mathis show at the beautiful Reynolds Hall at the The Smith Center. I appreciated the fact that they checked for vaccination cards or a negative COVID test. They were very strict about wearing a mask throughout the show. The line was very fast and many workers were there to direct you to your seats. They were very friendly and helpful. Loved the show and the venue. Well organized 👌
Beth VanSlyke
Heart of Education awards held here, WOW!! CCSD truly has awesome teachers!
unicornicopia weird shit
Great place to go for Broadway shows and concerts..a place that feels like something you would find in L.A California culture
Elaine Hawkins
Thoroughly enjoyed the musical play Hadestown.
Julia Kara
Beautiful venue. Love Myron's. Love Michael Grimm.
Sahara J.
Such a beautiful facility. The free tour they give was truly wonderful!
Ann M Burkhart
What a wonderful time I had today at the Smith Center for Carmina Burana. My first time back since the beginning of Covid.Everyone from the parking attendants, to the help desk, ticket scanners, bar, hosts were so frendly and helpful.
A big thank you to you all and I look forward to my next visit.
Wonderful orchestra, choir, singers and dancers. Thank you!
Katherine Pentz
We saw an amazing show the Smith Center is beautiful
Cesar INFAMOUSNYC
Very nice and classy but we were there for a jazz concert and the two bar lines were very large and inside the Theater the AC needed to be a bit colder. I shouldn’t be sweating if I’m just sitting down watching the show not moving
Lisa D.
Loved the performance at The Smith Center, Byron's. Please watch your tab as they use electronic, online, ordering. While a "sophisticated" QR system, it is wise to check your with your CC to make sure the check/tab is accurate. I heard a lady's tab was not - and I believe they helped her resolve the issue on-site. Intimate venue. Sat on the floor about three rows back. I believe even the back row would be fine to enjoy a performance. Approx 250 attendees arranged to tables or high-top of four, each.
Gerette Nadine
I like it here and I always enjoy the smaller venue. But the parking is always so annoying here. I don't know why, it's so expensive, and why we end up walking so much. It seems like its poorly planned or something.
Dan (Miss Danielle)
Love this theater! Cant wait to have seats closer than the balcony.
Brandon Bell
This place is just beautiful inside. Ticket prices were reasonable and the staff was very friendly. The performance was incredible and seating one of the most comfortable I've ever sat in.
Mark Hall
First visit to the Smith Center..absolutely amazing building and theater. We we not particularly enamored with the performance we witnessed (Cats), leaving at intermission. The venue offers easy parking, quick entry, comfortable seating and gorgeous decor. We enjoyed the experience even though the show was not our "cup of tea."

Ted Prohowich
This new professional theater and center for the arts with a 1930's Art Deco feel. The courteous volunteers/ workers guide you to your comfortable seating and even provides booster seats for little children.
T Smith
Beautiful venue. Inconsistencies with ushers. Some allow food and drink in, others did not. Proof of vaccination required which is good as I was surprised to see poor mask compliance amongst patrons. Wonderful performance.
Jen Lum
Amazing, beautiful, lovely! Tonight we saw the Nutcracker and it was magical.
Michael Aupperle
Wonderful theater to see a show, fantastic acoustics. Beautiful art deco lobby. Ajacent to the children's museum and the Smith center lounge, a more intimate setting to see fireside acts.
Max Hughes
Amazing venue! I felt incredibly cultured when attending Neil DeGrasse Tyson's talk here but it was amazing and not a bad seat in the house. If you want an extreme level of adulting go to an event here.
charles johnson
The Smith Center for The Performing Arts, is THE BEST THING to happen to Las Vegas , since the closing of Fremont Street 😎. I love this place, both Reynolds Hall and Cabaret Jazz 😉. …
Terry S
Gorgeous theater, highly accessible, and excellent acoustics. I set up audio equipment here for a few events that hired my former employer, I have enjoyed watching events here, and the sound is great throughout the theater. I'm not wheelchair-bound, but I now have limited mobility due to a partially paralyzed leg, and getting to even the balcony seats is quick and easy. The balcony seats aren’t designed very well, though. The rails block the stage a little, and at the last two shows that I’ve attended, there has been a tall person in front of me (and I’m 6’0) who invariably leans forward and blocks half of the stage. I’m sure that the expensive seats on the floor are very good though.
I'm only giving it four stars though, because the parking situation is inconvenient and borders on the chaotic at every event. This is something that usually gets a few comments from people working in the local event production racket whenever the Smith Center is discussed.
It's still a great theater though, and the Cheesecake Factory two blocks away makes it a great dining and entertainment location!
Mom with a substantial amount of kids
My daughters and I went here for a concert. We really enjoyed the atmosphere, the theater, and the show. We will definitely come back.
Garrett King
So awesome, always a pleasure going and listening to such talented young musicians
Katherine Edwards
Always first class experience. Love the theater. Can't wait to go again.
Svetlana Larson
Nice theater , I enjoyed ballet, had a great seat ,stuff was very helpful.
David Turpin
The facility was great. The Nutcracker was incredible the scenery the dancers of course Tchaikovsky. The parking was unbelievable. They had it so well organized we drove in we parked when we left we left there was no waiting I was really impressed.
Kelly
It's a really nice place but has been since it opened almost 10 years ago. The staff is friendly and helpful. Their safety protocols for Covid-19 prevention is good, even though some people take off their mask as soon as the lights go out. Overall I believe everyone should go at least once.
Ken Bergmann
It's a smooth entrance process, plenty of bars and food options. It's possible to get good box seats with patience. Wonderful to see good musical theater again.
Cheryllyn Longoria
They have the best shows and nicest staff! They're very helpful. I thoroughly enjoy all the shows I've seen and I'm so happy that they're performing again. Definitely recommend.
Amy Zafarano
Moulin Rouge was amazing, and the venue is incredible.

Jon Collins
Stunning art deco building with great views & audio experience from all seats.
Nancy Escobedo
Great venue and great shows! I've been here a few times and I'm never disappointed.
Lew Jon
Wonderful theater experience. Helpful staff. Amazing facility experience.
Michele Nakamura
Saw Shen Yun today. Beautiful performances. Best money spent so far on entertainment. Sets are glorious and full of surprises! If you've seen it one year, they change it every year. So worth seeing again! And we are Nevada residents.
Ian P
The audio system setup at the Myrons Theater was exceptionally spot on. For however small the venue is, the acoustics are well treated. Great ambiance. The place is elegant and you couldnt tell that the property sits in the middle of Downtown, where alot of homeless people are. I like the place, however it just seems its built for the mellower, top 40s genre of the yester years. If they play any heavier genre of music, thay is yet to see and will followup on this review if they ever hold any hard rock music there.
Benji Sultan
One of the most amazing theaters in Las Vegas. Beside the casino shows here you can have the most wonderful performances.
Tina Merced
It is truly a magnificent venue that brings great and varied performances to add culture to Las Vegas. The ushers were relaxed and helpful. I enjoyed "My Fair Lady" immensely.
Nan Wharton
Beautiful venue! Saw the Broadway Touring Company of “SIX” Fabulous!!!!
Amy Thomason
Excellent performance by the national touring Japanese Taiko Drum group, Drum Tao.
Nothing like you have seen before. Modern, high energy group of 40, spectacular costuming and staging.
Beyond classical taiko drumming, with music and choreography created by the band members themselves, the action never stops.
The quality of the drumming is unsurpassed. And use of other Japanese instruments - - 3 levels of stringed instruments that are played flat on the floor, bass to treble; flutes; cymbals; Japanese style banjo-like small, square instrument. Drumming is superb. Don't miss any return engagement.
Ann Cool
Attended a performance at Reynolds Hall; one of the 3 venues at the center. There are many options for parking; but for Reynolds Hall the best one is the city parkway.
Area is still under development....but I do imagine a little downtown vibe coming.
Overall, a good experience not much else to report.
LELA D
Beautiful space. Very courteous & friendly staff. Attended my friend Common's performance & it was excellent. Will travel there just to see future events.
Stanley Sipes
Quiet park. Peaceful. Also there are a bunch of places to watch shows here.
Richard McDonald
The production of cats was very good but the audio was too soft so I couldn't hear all of the dialog. The covid procedures are a bit much. Not allowing drinks that they sell can not be taken into the theater. But in the lobby, a very congested place, it's perfectly fine to drink your drink with your mask down. I don't know if I want to come back until all restrictions are over.
Kurt Brouwer
My first time experiencing a Philharmonic orchestra. It was impressive. I would go again if I would like classical music. I don't so that was the first and last time.
Michael Tirona
Always a great experience! Our seats (4th year same seats) offer a wonderful view and the acoustics are always great. All staff are always helpful and pleasant. Looking forward to continuing years of membership!
Mark sanner
The building is nostalgic. Very inviting atmosphere.
Easy in, easy out. Acoustics are great.
I always look forward to attending shows .

Lori Scott
Love the Smith Center. Handel's Messiah was amazing!
Mark Breeland
Very nice. Traffic management was great. I'm diabetic and someone appropriated my juice because of no liquids in Reynolds Hall, so I lost my seat and sit in back.
Molly Parsons
The Smith Center is a world-class performing arts center. It is beautiful in every aspect. The design and attention to detaul is second to none in my opinion. You will not be disappointed. However, I prefer more center stage, even if it's a little higher up because in my opinion the acoustics sounds better facing center stage.
Maurees R
Just seen Book of Mormon. So great !!! Any show here is amazing buy a ticket see a play and enjoy
Franci Davidson
Amazing sets and costumes for WICKED! Box circle seats are awesome!
Don Sherman
Beautiful place! We sat in the balcony, which were ok seats.
Laura Davis

This is such a beautiful venue. Hamilton was fabulous!

Saw 'Cats' - wonderful show & overall experience. Excellent $5 parking options. Easy access, plan to arrive early as each person must have COVID vaccine check - but was very well organized

Saw Six there. AMAZING!

Scrappy Mama
The Smith Center has brought true talent to Las Vegas. There has not been a bad show we've seen. We love it here.
TisTheSequel (TheSequelTisI)
I went to see Hamilton at this theater and it had an amazing view from all angles, along with a great atmosphere, and could hear everything even in the back.
Chris Jurgensen
This was my second time seeing Drum Tao at this venue. I plan on seeing them every time they come here, they are that talented.
The Smith Center is beautiful and the staff are wonderful and helpful. If you are handicapped they seat you a few minutes before everyone else and will keep your walker for you and bring it to you during intermission and at the end.
Sandy Snider
Landau Eugene Murphy put on a great show and the venue was perfect in it's intimacy.
Douglas Friedman
Wondetful performance of Hamilton. Sound system need repair for base notes.
Haiku Mama
Nice venue, top notch performers. It's great that they provide headsets free of charge so you don't miss any of the dialogue and it also helps that the headsets cancel out background audience noise. Theater is clean, restrooms are clean, plentiful and stocked. Staff are friendly and considerate. Ample parking at reasonable rates.
Genevieve Obrien
Amazing productions beautiful location, excellent experience!
Susan Azana
Beautiful theater! Beautiful orchestra and performance!
Agsgal
Almost every play that we have seen has been absolutely phenomenal.
Roberta Gilliard

Arianna Faulkenbury
Beautiful theater will always come back here.
Christian Russell
Awesome. Friendly, beautiful, clean, and it delivers a great experience. Thanks!
Nancy Thomas
Spectacular! I love this place! The acoustics are phenomenal. I've been in the cheap seats as well as floor, center stage. The latter is better. The seats and the aisles are wider and more comfortable. And they treat you better... The cheap seats remind me of the airlines, but you can still see the performances quite well.
Taylor Yucha
Love taking in a show with my significant other or the family here.
Jayne Gates
Beautiful venue. We went to see The Nutcracker. Great performance with gorgeous lighting and effects. Know in advance you need proof of vaccination as you enter.
Stacy Rohrer
We have seen several shows here and loved them all. The only thing I would like to see change is allowing people to enter after the show has started. At least wait for a break in the show or the song is over.
Margo Estrada
Elegant, classy, and awesome entertainment, food and drinks. An oasis in the middle of Vegas, if you don’t like The Strip vibe.
My FAV place to go in Las Vegas and to take visitors. Beautiful Art Deco building. Modern. Excellent parking. Great theater, entertainment venue…plays, ballets, cozy cafe style jazz sets. Great food and speciality drinks.
Alex Larson Bonnici
Excellence performing arts theater! If you can afford the season tickets, it's definitely worth it. Otherwise, keep an eye out for shows you've been interested in and get your tickets. Holiday shows are always fun for the family here.
The offer a valet($10 up front), close paid parking($5), and a more distance free self parking at the time of this review. The bar offers a few light snack/candy options as well as standard liquor/wine/beer
Saw The Color Purple tonight, was incredible.
Highly recommended again and again.
Alexia Zilliken
Myron's Cabaret Jazz is spectacular! Beautiful ambiance, friendly staff and incredible performers; highly recommended for a nice evening out!
Jessica Kruse
It's one of the most stunning theaters in town. Every performance I've attended here has been absolutely fantastic with super friendly staff, gorgeous art deco styling and architecture, excellent sound quality, and all of the seats I've sat in, have a great view!
Take a break from the strip and come see a show here!
Matthew Messer
It is beautiful without a bad seat in the entire building
Ahnna Barboza
One of my favorite places in Vegas. Very beautiful and great performances!
Julia Emahiser
Ballet Folklorico de Mexico’s fabulous performance at the Smith Center, Las Vegas was riveting. The costumes were beautiful and the precision and grace of the dancers was fantastic!
Trev
Awesome venue. We sat way up top and it was still a decent view for the money. Bring your glasses tho! Drink prices are good, $6 a beer, $7 for wine. If you are getting drinks come more than 15 mins prior so you aren't stressed like I was before the show started. Good time all around, were coming back for sure
_ Brewster
Great place to see a theater production. We saw a musical and the sound was amazing. I would also say that there doesn't seem to be a bad seat in the house. If you don't want to spring for orchestra level seats, the "cheap" seats would be acceptable as well. It's a short walk from Fremont Street (weather permitting... it's a pretty stifling walk in the heat!). Nice alternative to the casino venues of this sort.
John Butler
Intimate place to watch a play, great setting, great seats.
Patty Bellotte
Nice theater. We've been here several times and very much enjoyed it. I will say the fact that they closed the refrshments/bar 45 minutes into an hour and a half musical because it doesn't have an intermission bothered me this time. I had a very dry throat and couldn't even buy a water so I could stop coughing. If you bring your own water, you should have no problem. Nice venue
Fleur de la Fleurs
Beautiful, classy, clean, and quiet. Just perfect.
Tasha Rogers
We've been a couple times and we think it's great seating all around. Keep an eye out for famous Broadway musicals coming through as well as national geographic speakers. Quite the variety :-) The excellent staff and volunteers deserve a shout out as well!
Ricky Acklin-Cunningham
Loved my first visit to the Smith Center. I saw the 1st of 4 performances of #Viral. The acoustics were good and the performance was high energy and fun. I took my favorite 3 high school students and they were inspired by the entire experience. Unable to get anything during the intermission because the single setup was inadequate for the crowd size. The staff is friendly but some could've been better informed about seating for the show. Overall a worthwhile Saturday evening outing.
Kirk Hansen
I absolutely love this venue. There isn't a bad seat in the house. We have seen a number of shows here. Highly recommend it.
Carol Egan
This is a beautiful art deco designed building away from the hustle and bustle of the strip. We've been to a number of Broadway shows and concerts in the Reynolds hall and totally enjoyed every one. There is not a bad seat in the house and plenty of ADA seating and parking. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Definitely a class act!
Tom Joyce
This venue is wonderful. We were high up on the balcony, both the sound and view were spectacular.
Mark Mills
Incredible performance space, incredible staff, easy access, easy parking.
"My fair lady" was a letter perfect. Truly one of the great benefits of life in Vegas.
JAY DALBY
Amazing venue. Beautiful architecture. Perfect acoustics.
Kelly Rossi
Locals are so grateful for The Smith Center. As much as we love Cirque shows, it is nice to finally feel like Vegas has the theater culture that matches other big cities. The theater is elegant and designed so that every seat in the house is a good view.
Keep the good shows coming!
Jane Stevenson
Beautiful design, makes you feel like you're in NYC at a Broadway production. Very well organized and impressive attention given to patrons. Enjoyable evening
Ross Hunsaker
Amazing performance by Chris Botti, his band, and special guest performers! Would definitely go again.
raul garibay
It was so amazing, I went there last week to see the play how the grinch stole Christmas. Its every clean and bathrooms are amazing
Isabel Ferguson
It's a beautiful theater with helpful and kind workers. Their dressing rooms are very professional and nice, as well as the main stage's incredible space. I've both performed and attended many shows, and I always love to come here! There is the outlet mall just across the street for dinner or some walking around, and their symphony park is so cute! Great place for photoshoots, fun times, or just enjoying the performing arts! 5 stars!
Melanie White
Smith Center is an abundance of class. The theater is absolutely stunning! I truly feel like I am transported to another time!!!!!
Sheryl Burnham
Took my granddaughter to see the adaptation of A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens. Phenomenal Show. And The Venue is amazing. Not a bad seat in the house
den osborne
Really wonderful auditorium with valet parking. Needs a few more seats inside the foyer so elderly can sit while waiting.
Del Cabon
Took this pic by accident while seated. Acoustics here are amazing. Parking was relatively quick and cheap. Average seats offered a good view. Ill try for box seats next time. It's a pretty intimate venue.

Beautiful venue. Wonderful accoustics. Not a bad seat in the house. Special event parking was only $5. Best deal in Vegas! Only drawback was the overly strict usher who wouldn't let me explore other parts of the theatre, even though I had already paid for a pretty premium seat.
Johannes Marlena
A special venue here in Vegas. Acoustics are terrific, and having now sat in the "cheap seats" as well as 4th row Orchestra center, there really is no bad seat in the house. The quality of productions is top notch and the programming of seasons diverse and extremely well thought out. As Vegas keeps growing from just a gambling town in the middle of the desert now to a bustling metropolis with everybody getting the heck out of states like California and moving here, the Smith Center is an important hub of culture and shines bright in being the best example of what the new Las Vegas is all about. Such a classy venue yet so accessible and comfortable. Love this place.
Milky Mike D.
had a great time! the staff are very welcoming, accommodating and top notch! We went to see Poncho Sanchez and the staff immediately helped up find our seats, welcomed us and showed us around before the start of the show. The food was almost too much for us we foolishly assumed we were going to get California portions... the grand total for one appetizer, one entray, four drinks came to less than $50
Great Date night local to take in a good show, walk in the park, and enjoy more than just the Sin in the City!
Heather M
Fantastic venue! I've been to the Smith Center (Reynolds Hall) over two dozen times and have yet to experience an issue or have a bad experience. Views are good from every seat, the facilities are beautiful and well-kept, and the staff is friendly and accommodating. If you have a chance to see a show here, I highly recommend it!
Stephanie Lawhon
Sound was great easy to get in and out of. Parking was great.
Matthew
Wonderful live theater. Lobby is quiet with great service. The acoustics were great and there are so many fabulous shows. If you're up in the top balcony, the view is a little bit steep, but the price is right for those seats.
Miss45 “Miss45”
First time there to see The Nutcracker Ballet on Christmas Eve.
Frapsity
Very nice place! Balcony seats felt dangerous but there are nice rails so it's fine. You have to be slow and careful. Staff is very helpull.
Even though there is no official (per a phone call) dress code still felt under dressed in a t-shirt and jeans (as male). Would recommend a least a collared shirt and no jeans.
Jena Michele Kovash
Gorgeous theater. The art deco design is fabulous and glamorous. The staff is delightful and helpful.
Kristy Riddle
The Smith Center was a beautiful addition to my trip. I took my daughter to see Dear Evan Hansen here, and it was an adventure of a lifetime. The staff was courteous and helpful. The parking was affordable and right outside of the building. The show was simply amazing! I had a wonderful time here. I would do it a million times over again!
Adela Fernandez
This is a nice place. Performances here are nothing like the ones on the Strip, this is classy. Parking is free which is a plus. Drinks are quite pricey but doable if you really want it. They offer a nice variety of shows. I attend at least twice a year and have never had a bad time.
Helen
Four stars was tough to give, based on the parking situation alone. It's a huge space but barely manageable. They have a transportation system to your car, but you must be patient. The venue itself is stunning and cozy, but not so much that you don't need assistance to find your way around to your seat. The shows are fabulous and very reasonably priced. If they had a few good restaurants next door that would make the experience even more spectacular.
Jennifer Dearinger
The Smith Center is lovely in many ways. A complimentary good car took us to the front door. Will Call was staffed and retrieved tickets quickly. Metal detectors seem unnecessary to me but the security measures are reasonable. The art in the stairwells is fun to look at. I don't know how to describe architecture but the design is visually appealing. The theatre itself is comfortable and well designed.
Michelle Bresette
Parking was easy. Staff checking vac cards, purses and tickets were very friendly. Really enjoyed the show!
Cryptowolf
Saw Australian Pink Floyd. Awesome show and great hospitality!
PKells Kelley
Performance beautiful! My daughter loved the Grinch! Parking on the other hand....horrible. The parking garage did not give great directions guiding us out. The gentleman giving us the ticket to park very sweet and funny....tell him to keep singing❤
Taylor Pfatenhauer
Love going to the Smith Center. The theater and lobby areas are gorgeous. The acoustics are amazing. The performances from plays to musicals are all well done. Though I haven't sat in them all, I don't think there is a bad seat in the theater.
Dougie Sinclair
Such a beautiful venue! I have been there over 15 times and see musicals plays and philharmonic's. There's never a bad seat in the house and the Acoustics are so good everything sounds wonderful to the ear. Definitely go see the Philharmonic and sit in the nosebleeds. The tickets are the cheapest the sound is great and the view is also amazing

Based upon just a single evening's musical entertainment at the Smith Center, I can offer only these limited, "first impression" observations.
The interior is quite elegant; the staff is professional, courteous, and helpful; the clarity of sound ,in the auditorium is remarkable; the cleanliness, maintenance, and general appearance of the entire facility is above reproach; and finally, I am most gratified by the total wheelchair accessibility to all areas of the Center.
The only disappointing aspect of the experience occurred when I discovered that a full view of the stage was not possible from all of the seats. In fact, from my seat positioned at the rail in one of the lovely, coveted, secluded, intimate boxes, I could see less than half the stage if I sat comfortably upright. And when I stretched awkwardly forward, I was still unable to visualize the entire stage.
Considering the evening's overall experience, I can still awarded four ☆☆☆☆ stars to the Smith Center for its many positive attributes.
Jennifer Hughes
Love everything about The Smith Center, from friendly staff in every position to easy, nearby free parking. I can actually find and buy tickets to many shows here, unlike my local theater in SLC. Haven't found a bad seat yet, even in the nosebleed seats. When you purchase a package you can get better seats that are reasonably priced. I gladly drive 7 hours to see touring Broadway shows here. They have all been fantastic. Our visits to this theater have always been a pleasure.
Laurie Boetcher
Beautiful venue for concerts and ballets! Just saw the Nevada Ballet Theater perform there. Have also gone to Myron's Cabaret Jazz. Easy parking, $5. Good bar and food on the mezzanine during performances. Cafe Sambalatta for coffee and light snacks. Wonderful cultural venue. Highly recommended!
Nursefoodie threesixty
Beautiful venue that brings you some of the best Broadway plays.
Jackson Reynolds
Just saw Hamilton! They have tons of great plays! This is a wonderful place! In addition I've been able to perform here with Zions Youth and the backstage accommodations are quite good.
tonya may
Just saw Hamilton.. F****ng AMAZINGLY AWESOME!
Tsólaria Vazquez
People sitting in the Level 5 balcony seats must wait a while to get out after the show - a lot of audience members, steep stairs, and only two exits make for a traffic jam of people. The stage also looks very tiny from there. Still, this is a beautiful venue and it hosts many great shows.
Dan Corwin
Amazing place to see a show.
Andre
Beautiful venue. The seating is as grand as the opera house in San Francisco. Been here several times and am never disappointed. The sound is incredible. The parking lot is free. They have valet also. We thoroughly enjoy attending events here.
Michelle P
It was my first time attending an event at The Smith Center and I was blown away at how beautiful it is inside! Then when the Philharmonic started I was in even more awe from the music and beautiful talent shown! All of the staff were extremely nice and helpful! I can't wait to come back!
Cory Egbert
Love attending shows here. Haven’t been disappointed yet.
Leo Smith
What an awesome place to be at it was fantastic fantastic construction we had to park in the back parking lot they had a shuttle golf cart to take us to the front door or what an awesome experience
jAnthony Perez
Great environment, wonderful performance.
Roame Yo!
Saw the Nutcracker and the Lion king...beautiful and well kept establishment! Courteous staff and a wide assortment of snacks. Adult drinks are expensive but generally well made/mixed. Sat I different areas for each attendance and must say that both the view and the sounds were excellent.
Wallace Gutzmer
We are so fortunate to have this venue in Las Vegas; It is simply beautiful and classy. And the people who work there are very polite and helpful too. It's a very welcome and high-class addition to the wide variety of entertainment that Vegas already offers. I highly recommend checking out any performance here.
CHRISTINA MARIE
This place is awesome if you want to go watch a musical show or a concert. The grounds itself have different entertainment places like the children’s museum and restaurants. But it’s mainly occupied for people who are having conventions or concerts to go to or even art exhibits. Where are unique place in Vegas. But it’s not very very large as far as the grounds itself and the things to do like most people would think of when they think of Vegas.
Eric
Located close to the world trade center and immediately adjacent to the Children's discovery center, the Smith Center is a beautiful addition to symphony park. It was my first time here for a show, and as beautiful as the building design is, more importantly there is not a bad seat in the house! You can tell it is beautifully and smartly designed so you can enjoy the stage from every spot. A great place to dress up and go see a show - a perfect date night! It's also got a super cute park right outside that I kept imagining wanting to come back and let my dog run around.
Beverly Marques
Wonderful!
Opening night at the Las Vegas Philharmonic with Donato Cabrera, Conductor, and guest artist Joshua Roman, Cello.
Easy parking in garage or uncovered lot.
Golf cart shuttles in Handicap parking lot area.
Purchase parking online. Event tickets and parking tickets are online, no more paper tickets.
Great knowledgeable crowd.
Reasonable tickets at every purchase point. Covid procedures in place. Show card upon entrance and wear your masks inside.
Reynolds Hall has a beautiful Art Deco interior. Lots of photo opportunities.
Greg Whitehead
No bad seats that I could see. Fairly large.
John Wilder
The best place to see the big Broadway shows that tour the country. It's also awesome because they host acts like Ira Glass and local troupes as well. Not to mention that Reynolds Hall is one of the more breathtaking halls I've been in. So happy to have a place like the Smith Center here in Vegas!
Michael Powell
I just saw Travis Tritt there and he was amazing. The venue was great. Almost every seat felt like it was a personal performance. Very well maintained and security is top notch and polite. Vendors we're friendly and prices not quite as bad as expected. Very clean and just a great experience overall.
TJ Weddington
My family and I have only been there twice but enjoyed both experiences without fault. The staff is great the venue is incredible. Me being an actor I'd love to one day perform at Reynolds Hall.
Nicole R.
Went to see my daughter perform with her dance troupe here. It was a great performance but, the center is BEAUTIFUL!!. I would love to attend another event here my only complaint is the seats are quite small and are packed right next to each other! I mean really close. Deducted a star for that.
M Gurka
We just saw the Happy Together at the Smith Center for the Performing Arts. The concert was wonderful. We had balcony seating which normally would be okay. However, we felt that our seats were f our stories high. The performers looked like ants. If we decide to attend another event there, we will definitely not sit in the balcony.
G Gulbenkian
Love the art deco architecture. Great place to watch Broadway Shows and the ballet.
Tara Kapcsos
Beautiful venue and the seating is comfortable with leg room.
Harold LLoyd
The smith center is elegant and very nice. We watched the lion king musical which was pretty good in itself. Lots of funny moment's. Food is high as to be expected in any event or venue's. There is a elevator to all floors. There are snack bars along with drinks on multiple floors. On the mezzanine floor just above the main floor you have a lounge, small food pavillion area. Our seating were a tad bit to tight for me but other then that, no complaints This is simply a great place to spend the evening with family, friends or a love one.
Jeff Goodall
We saw Christmas Carol. They provided a wonderful interpretation of the original show. We loved it! The stage design was ingenious.
Adam D
I have been to many performances and pays at the Smith center and never been disappointed with the facility. It's a beautiful building. We've had seats from the floor to upper balcony, and even though some are better than others, none have disappointed me. Anyone who had a chance should enjoy a show here.
Angela Church
I love this place! I'm from San Francisco so it's nice to see some culture here in Vegas. Prices are a but pricier than other locations but, what are you going to do! Highly suggest seeing a show at least once. I love me some Wicked!
Georgia G Purpura
We love The Smith Center and are pleased it has reopened. We saw The Band's Visit and enjoyed this Tony award winning musical. Acoustics in the Panterre section were not great. Many had difficulty hearing the dialogue and quite a few in our section left early in frustration. We have tickets for 2 different musical performances in the mext few weeks and looking forward to returning to the theater for many years to come.
Jessica Bear
Nothing like live theater! Great acoustics, and more than one venue. The main theater is gorgeous (Art Deco), but the smaller theaters and showrooms are every bit as lovely. All were designed with high quality sound and acoustics. Take in some music in the smaller theaters, or see a big Broadway production. Either way you can't go wrong. Yes, Las Vegas has culture 😉
Eric Raymond
Elegant, sophisticated, and well organized. Being at the Smith Center is always an event where you can feel fancy. The facility is beautiful and the staff go the extra mile. Parking works well and the balconies inside Reynolds still have a great view. You'll enjoy your time at the Smith Center. See a play or the symphony!
Tiffanie Mendoza
Very nice venue. I went in a field trip with my son's on two different occasions. We saw Go Dog Go and Mr Popper's Penguins. I had never been there previously. We had a great time and it was very well organized. I would like to go see something else there.
David Ayala
Excellent facility! The sound in Reynolds Hall is fantastic. I get the feeling of a little vertigo in the Balcony, but other than that I love the musicals, symphonies, ballets, speaker series, and concerts at The Smith Center. And, don't forget the cabaret jazz room. This intimate performance room is wonderful. The Smith Center has it all!
Donald Draper
It's beautiful and the acoustics are wonderful. Really nothing a bad seating the place. But I must notify you the upper balcony is high and steep. The box seat are like sitting on a cliff! For God's sake I was higher than Elephba! So if Hightstown make you queasy but a different seat.
Philip Maldonado
Such a beautiful place to come see a play. Came all the way from Los Angeles to see the Lion King. Best play ever, in such a beautiful place. Friendly courteous staff. Should me exactly where our seat was. Fully staffed. If I had a question, there was more than enough staff to help. Looking foward to coming back!!
Joshua Williams
Love this place! Beautiful venue with great shows and events! Theater, dance, music... I have yet to be disappointed. It can be a little dizzying in the nose-bleed seats, but I've sat in every level from the stage to the very top rows and always enjoyed the show.
Denise Signorelli
Nice live music venue. Summer or winter in cabaret jazz showroom is freezing. Dress warm. Good acoustics and no bad seats. Surprised waiter served table mates 3x 8oz wine pours in 90 minute show. Hope they got home!!
Paul Bowman
What a nice facility! Staff was real helpful and the event that we attended was spectacular as we had a great time.
Ruby Archuleta
We had the best time ever! Great Venue and great performance!🎄❤ …
Alice
Beautiful, art decor inspired building, well worth setting a show to enjoy the building. Amazing light fixture on fifth floor. Had top tier glutenfree bourbon, and felt quite elegant sipping and enjoying the city lights before the show. Restrooms very clean. Saw Bernadette Peters and thoroughly enjoyed the show. We sat in the front row on the top floor and had a great view, although it's not good for someone who is afraid of heights. Such a nice change from the hubbub of the strip. Good uber parking.
Laurie Herda
The Smith Center is one of my favorite buildings ever! The art deco decor is just beautiful and I don't think I have ever had a bad seat. I am so thankful to have the opportunity to experience the shows that are presented....it is my favorite venue in Las Vegas by far.
Tabitha Carpenter
Parking gets hard, they do best they can to help locate spots for you. Beautiful building. If you can't get floor seats no big deal, there is lots of upper seating. But it's really steap so be careful with little ones. Also the bar is right in the way for J on the right side. We had a group of girls range from 5' 2" - 5'9" and all of us were fidgeting trying to see around the bar while stage rotated.
Matthew Wyman
This theater is one of the most beautiful I've seen. The staff is friendly and the shows are of high caliber. There's plenty of parking and easy access to several major freeways. If you want to see Broadway quality shows, this is the place to go.
Juliana Jett
Wonderful to be back and seeing shows in person again at the Smith Center! A Christmas Carol was a great way to start the holiday season 🎄 …
Rebecca “RIVKA” Byrnes
Great performance by Nellie McKay! The staff at the Smith Center were super kind and fun loving! They made the experience that much better! They helped us get our selves and our blind friend to our seats in a safe and timely manner. The Chocolate cake was dangerously good too...
Yolanda Robson
Went to watch our Favorite Local entertainer, Brody preform British Rock and Roll. This is the second time seeing Him and he is GREAT. The Smith Center was very accommodating with Handicapped parking and a shuttle. We will go again!! It was a Great night out!😍❤ …

The Cabaret Lounge one of the many venues within the Smith Center was an absolutely outstanding experience. The decor was impeccable, the atmosphere exciting, rivaling any major city.
Valet parking (fee) easy online booking, exceptional staff from the ushers to the servers. providing a surprisingly robust menu items including appetizers and liberally poured cocktails served by the friendly wait staff at very pleasing prices.
Gae Hirsch
From The Valley to all the helpful people inside too inside to a wonderful auditorium and a great performance great performance what a wonderful way to start a week that's if you consider Tuesday the beginning of the week
joyce w
The Smith Center is one of my favorite venues. Been here a few times. Very easy to use their website to buy tickets and they will mail them to you if desired. Simple and straight forward (and free unless you valet) parking makes out stress-free. Make sure to get upstairs and take a look at the view from the balcony...great view of downtown!
I'm always looking for another excuse to come here.
Jessica May
Very beautiful venue for performing arts! Not a bad seat in the house. The acoustics are such that everyone can heat what is going on onstage. Will definitely attend more functions there.
Shelia Martinez
It's absolutely amazing! The architecture, the style and sound !Speakers come up from the floor. It's size is perfect, not too large and cozy enough to be comfortable. Just the most versatile venue in Vegas. The beautiful balcony is where to sit all glammed up for an opera ,or ballet. The floor seats were fantastic for rock'n out to the Apocalyptica show.
Ian Simon
Excellent venue, well managed. We have never had a bad experience at Reynolds hall or the jazz room. If you're looking for something with a tad more culture than the usual strip show, this is the location.
Patty M
Super place to see great entertainment. We saw a performance of the Las Vegas Philharmonic. It's a fantastic venue. Valet parking is available and very convenient! They also have a really cool jazz club in another part of the facility. Seats were comfortable and the acoustics are great. If you're visiting Vegas, check out the schedule and go see a concert or a nice jazz show.
Reuven Salvaleon
Great venue love live music, thank you for providing a great place for musicians and fans.
Kent Fritzel
I applaud everyone at the Smith Center for enforcing COVID protocols with class and efficiency. I felt perfectly safe and comfortable, and will continue to support the incredible work for the preforming Arts in Las Vegas. . BRAVO!!!
Traci Michele
The Cabaret Jazz Theatre is one of the best places to see live music. I've seen Clint Holmes to Femmes of Rock and several things in between. The sound is great. The staff are helpful and polite. There's not a bad seat in the house. And the parking for the shows I've been to is free. I highly recommend seeing a show in this venue.
dan&finn
The venue is top notch, a beautiful design and the harmonica are perfect. New parking garage and plenty of staff to advise the confused, (me). Can't wait for the next show!
Mike Maxwell
We love going to productions at the Smith Center. It's a classy but not snobbish place with helpful ushers, bar tenders and other staff. The productions are as good as any found in larger cities. The seat pricing is a direct indicator of the quality of the seat.
Joseph Curila
Always a good place to see shows and great helpful staff
Fadi
Very impressive architecture. I really liked the Art Deco style of the building. Went to see Carmina Burana and was very pleased with performance. Drinks are relatively pricey, but still within reason. It was overall a very enjoyable experience and would definitely watch another performance at the Smith Centre..
Harry Kane
The Smith Center is an outstanding venue for top shelf entertainment. With easily accessible parking, multiple performance areas, excellent seating and helpful attentive staff it's a showplace well worth visiting. As a local I've had the pleasure of attending numerous shows, concerts, plays and other projects. All have been top shelf and we'll worth the price of admission. Highly recommended!
Tracey Jablonka
Beautiful! The Nevada Philharmonic is spectacular to hear! I love coming here every season. So glad things are back!
Destinee T
There isnt a bad seat in this place so far! Ive sat in the balcony, dress circle, orchestra and had great experiences with them all. You will want to arrive early the higher up you are as the elevators are only so big. The staff is always super helpful as well!
Michael Hopper
The Smith Center is beautiful, and is everything a theater should be. If there was one thing I'd recommend, it's to wear comfy shoes while hiking to the top of the balcony. The stairs are steep and each one is (I think) taller than standard. Not a problem, unless you're recovering from foot surgery.
S Potter
It was my first time being there last night. It was me my wife and my mother and father, their first time too.
Very elegant and beautiful inside and out. We have a new respect for music. Keep up the good work, I can't wait to go again..
Mark Miller
This is a magnificent throwback to the show palaces of old. Being a New York City boy, it warms my heart to see the art deco spires that bring such landmarks as Carnegie Hall, Licoln Center, and the Schubert Theater to mind.
I have repeatedly heard performers remark on what a treasure we have in the Smith Center, and I have to agree. The sound quality is the finest I've heard in this town.
My only complaint is that the seating is a little tight for my large build, but I suppose that's more my fault 😊
Rob McDaniel
Not a bad seat in the place. I've never had a bad experience. The bartenders are good and work for tips. Buy a sippy cup once and then just keep bringing it back to fill up. The seats are comfortable and the shows are great.
Scott Wright
It's an awesome theater especially if you're anywhere in the area of Las Vegas. They bringing some great shows ticket prices are excellent. Especially if you're a student at UNLV, which I am not but they do great ticket prices for them. There are also Rush tickets available if you live in the area. The stage can be seen from pretty much every seat in the house. Some seats definitely are better
Corliss Douglas
Beautiful acoustics, lovely facility, professional staff...
Sarah Goldberg
Weird Al performed with a local symphony here. The symphony was amazing and the venue was perfect. It was intimate even up in the 3rd balcony (center). I would love to see my like a ballet here!
Mikki Verrett
I am so glad we finally have a venue like this in Vegas! They can accommodate a large auditorium for a Broadway show, to the smaller room that I watched a hilarious comedy show!! Also you can buy wine and cocktails before your show and go home with the souvenir glass!
Gabriela Katschka
Superb!
Laura Davis
The Smith Center is a beautiful venue. I have had the pleasure of both attending performances and being a performer here. The acoustics are excellent. The staff is courteous and knowledgeable. Parking can be a bit confusing, especially during larger events or busy seasons. More signs to help direct drivers who are unfamiliar with downtown Las Vegas would be an extremely helpful accommodation.
Nancy Levan
Easy parking, small venue so there isn't a lot of walking, beautiful architecture, good sound and nice stage, the staff is great. Drinks are a little expensive but expected at a venue like this. I'll definitely go again.
Vicki Gibson
It's always an amazing experience! The talent of the entertainers is incredible. I 💜 The Smith Ctr and the variety of venues and shows they offer at an affordable price. Plus the staff is great as well. It's a win win for this Vegas transplant! 5🌟"s all the way around. Bravo!!! …
Kathryn Rogers
We came here after the filming of Live! With Kelly.
It's just down the street from that and across from Lincoln Center.
Food and service were both great.
Kale salad was fab! Mac n cheese great. Chicken pot pie comforting and rich flavor.
Bloody Mary was excellent. Everyone enjoyed lunch. Hardy portions. Price high to us but average for NYC and esp. this location.
They have a photo booth in the bathroom.
Very established place.
Curtis Nielson
One of the best performance halls I have been in in a very long time. The conductor was outstanding. I enjoyed watching him conduct as much as listening to the music. Acustics were great as well as the narrative. A nice cozy and warm feeling.
Lexi Dawson
I went to see the nutcracker with my family for Christmas, we had box seating and had an amazing time. It was very elegant and relaxing. The atmosphere is very festive and romantic, I'll definitely be back next year!
randi woodruff
I have only ever been here for field trips with my kids. I love the whole experience . It is amazing designed and so much seating . I have truly enjoyed every trip I have been to with our school. I wish I could afford to go see a real show but I know one day I will get there .
Candice Buchalco
Such a beautiful theater ! Have seen a few different shows and a concert. The bartenders are quick too ! Which is important when you only have so much time between acts. Gorgeous place !
Damon Shearer
The Smith Center is a delight. From the discount layout to the multiple rooms and service windows, they allow a large number of people to flow through without getting crowded.
In every area I encountered staff, they were fun, helpful and demonstrated a genuine concern for each guest they assisted.
I was lucky enough to obtain box seats to the performance, which adds it's open additional benefits and an extra room.
Even pre and post show transportation was well managed. Full marks all round! Other venues could learn from this one.
