This might be the prettiest place I've ever seen a concert. It's an intimate setting. I don't think there is a bad seat in the house. The staff is super friendly. It has great acoustics. The parking garage is super conveniently located. The facility is also run by a great npo. I would highly recommend it!

Lovely concert venue, feels like New York Broadway, Chicago thestre hall full sound experience with overhanging spearkers. Three box seat tiers and cozy, would visit again. As for Vanessa Williams, she certainly did the building justice comparably elegant and worthy performer. Every note sung was pure and powerful.

The German Christmas market was here. Excellent food and drinks. The shoppes have handmade ornaments and toys and various other holiday gifts. They also have live music and a Santa and demonstrations. Definitely worth checking out.

Incredible place to watch a concert. Very classy, brand new and modern state of the art facility, yet architecturally comes off as classic and grand. Great structure, and Incredible acoustics. The best sound I've heard at a concert. Its fairly small and couldn't imagine there would be a bad seat in the house, but, I was lucky enough to be on floor and right up front at Amy Lees opening to her orchestrated version of her latest album. Great separate area for merchandise, drink stands right outside of area, and very nice and clean, in general. Well managed, with a great staff. Probably my favorite place to have watched a concert at yet. Highly recommend any chance one might get to see someone perform here !

We go to the German Christmas Village every year. It has become a family tradition. Haven't tried the theater but have added to our must try list. High end travel groups and recognizable show titles

We had our small wedding renewal ceremony and reception at the Palladium between Christmas and New Years. We cannot say enough good things about the excellent service before, during and after. Nicole and Abigail were incredibly responsive with each detail. They provided excellent suggestions and worked hard to make sure our requests were exactly as we hoped. They took care of hiccups with other vendors the day of beyond the scope of their responsibilities. The venue is of course absolutely gorgeous. We had our ceremony in one room and the reception in another which worked out really well. Every single person we encountered at the Palladium was beyond helpful, professional and exceeded any expectation. We highly recommend the Palladium for your event and specifically Nicole and Abigail. The BEST!!!!

Was here doing the Carmel Christkindlmarkt when I was visiting my family for Christmas, and I was entrapped by all the scent of all the different food they had to offer. Always enjoy coming to this event. Highly recommend it

Walking out of the parking garage doors and into the area where the Christkindlmarkt definitely felt like walking onset to a Holiday Hallmark movie! It was pretty crowded when we went (weekend before Christmas) but worth it. The music, the people, the lights... all perfect for an evening out for the Holidays.

This is a beautiful venue for shows and events. They have ice skating outside and lights lit up in winter as you approach the entrance to the parking garage. The staff for our event was great and we enjoyed sitting in the seats to watch the ballet. The parking garage leads straight to a lobby with access to all the event rooms. Sound quality was really good as we watched Swan Lake by the Grand Russian Ballet. Awesome place.

The scenery here is very modern and very clean. The ice skating rink is open during winter season. Lots of eateries and shops nearby. Parking is generally free so that's a big plus.

This is a beautiful venue! The architecture is a wonderful blend of renaissance and modern, with very interesting prairie style accents. They host a wide variety of acts, from local groups to big international stars. The acoustics are great! I’ve sat on the main floor and the balcony, and the sound has been perfect every time. It’s also close to some good restaurants and parking is pretty easy. Great venue overall!

The acoustics are wonderful. The program (I'll Be Seeing You: Letters of WWII) was absolutely fantastic! The front seats aren't great because of the speakers; they blocked many scenes. At least the music made up for not being able to see everything.

Beautiful facility. Only problem is it is not very handicap friendly. Almost everything is on a different level and there are mainly stairs. It can be done but with much added effort.

Recently enjoyed Pink Martini there. We go to their shows whenever they are in town. For the price of the seats, we were not thrilled to be seated behind the sound control board. Turning lemons into lemonade, we ended up learning so much about this group we love that we never would have scored from the program. The gentleman in charge of the board was kind, funny and put up with us during the intermission. This is how I envision the entire group to be. They make us feel that way every time we see them and why will continue to follow them as far as we can. By the way, the acoustics there are phenomenal.

So many great shows are put on across the three distinct theaters, all of which are beautiful and "bad" seats are nearly non-existent. The theater companies are too notch, and the Palladium brings in top artists to perform throughout the year, for reasonable prices. I'm also incredibly pleased with their policy to check for vaccination status against COVID-19. They are doing their part to keep their patrons and the entire community safe, and I hope more places in Carmel begin to follow their example. If you haven't attended a performance at the Carmel CPA, what are you waiting for!?

The facility was attractive. All the staff was polite and efficient. Not sure if requiring to show proof of COVID vaccination was appropriate or legal. The accoustics were good but not great. Seating behind the stage was weird. Free parking and having restaurants close by was very cool. I miss Shapiro's.

Excellent place in the heart of Carmel, Indiana. Just 35 minutes from downtown Indianapolis. Enjoy beautiful music or play and follow through with a delightful dinner at one of the nearby outstanding restaurants. You can also visit Christmas Market in the winter. Great time for the whole family.

Beautiful event center. No Verizon network signal at all. Download your tickets or you will have to walk across the street to the large parking lot to get a signal. No wifi either. Overall very nice venue.

This can be considered the crowned jewel of Carmel. The plaza is simply beautiful as it is inviting and literally seconds from the Monon walking/biking trails and plentiful shops and restaurants that can cater to both everyday and unique, curious eclectic tastes. Definitely a place to visit if you're ever in Indianapolis or nearby.

We saw our first show here last weekend (Carmel Symphony Orchestra). The building is very nice and pretty grand. I feel that any seat in here would be great. We sat on the main floor, but actually sitting in the balcony might give you a better vantage point. I was surprised to see that it seats 1,600 people. It must be due to the number of box seats. We will plan on seeing additional shows here in the future. Was nice that there is a (free) parking garage right next door.

This is a stunning building. We have been to concerts here several times. If you are a parent, be aware that the upper balconies which hang high above the floor have very low guard rails and are not suited for young children. Also, on more than one occasion when we have been here, the staff seemed in a hurry for us to leave and mentioned needing to lock up the building. It’s volunteers at work there every day, I think they feel to realize that going to a concert is a major occasion for many people, and that they do want to linger, take photographs etc. It seems to me that an organization this large could find enough volunteers to keep the hall open for some time after the concert so that no one needs to feel rushed.

It's a beautiful performance arts center. So glamorous it feels like it belongs in New York or Los Angeles. The acoustics are exquisite. There are just no echoes or anything to disrupt the music. We always enjoy coming here to hear some of our favorite artists. We're very fortunate to have this caliber of a performance arts center right here in Carmel.

If you are going to have a COVID policy requiring that visitors be vaccinated or have a negative test, it needs to be much clearer than in small print on the page. We drove 45 minutes only to be denied or go across the road and have CVS complete a rapid test for a fee. This is incredibly frustrating as I would have had card in hand if I knew it was required. I have taken the personal responsibility of vaccinating and would have reluctantly provided proof if I knew it was required.

Easy in and out -from the parking garage right into the building. No weather elements to deal with. The seating in the theater is perfect. Not a bad seat in the house. The rows are tiered, so no head will block your view. We thoroughly enjoyed our time.

Seriously fabulous venue. It has unique seating, you can sit on the stage and see what the performers see. I have been in the far back, which is not too far. I have also been in the front row. I am not sure that there is a bad seat in the whole place. The volunteers that guide you to your seat are friendly and easy to please. This place is a great addition to the community and worth the visit. Be sure to check out the gift shop. Be prepared to find parking, they offer valet on the south side of the venue.

Truly magnificent performing arts venue. The Palladium in particularly is stunning on the inside and outside. The acoustics are great and there is no bad seat in the house. I enjoy coming to see the shows here, which range from symphonies to country concerts, jazz trios to comedy acts.

Great concert hall. We sat in the upper gallery, had no problem seeing the stage. Sound was fantastic, no problem hearing the nuance in the guitar and piano solos. There's plenty of parking but it's a bit of a hike. Go early if you don't want to pay the valet and want to park near the entrance. Also they could use more elevators. There's only one in the main lobby, with a long line. We climbed the stairs to the gallery on the fourth floor. It was definitely a climb, someone with mobility issues would prefer the elevator.

I recently saw Mary Poppins here with my two best friends and all I can say is WOW!! The theater is beautiful, the staff are incredibly helpful and kind, the cast is phenomenal! I have seen several performances here and they have all blown me away! I beg of you to go and watch all of these talented people! Absolutely incredible!

Outstanding venue for live music. We attended last night's Carmel Symphony Orchestra's Christmas show, with the Indianapolis Children's Choir. It was a wonderful show. We love live music, and have seen numerous performances at The Palladium -- it's truly one of the most fantastic venues you'll ever visit.

Great sound system for concerts. Seats are comfortable. Beautiful theater. They sell beer and wine. I don't know about alcoholic drinks. Parking can be a little difficult though. So go a little early to give you time to find a parking spot.

I wanted to go skating on a Wednesday night and, being new to the area, I decided to check it out. After getting there, I realized that it isn't exactly a good place for people who like to tear up and down the ice, but paid the $10 anyway and figured that I would at least get a little skating in. Disappointed that there was no cleaning of the ice, but it was a nice workout, with friendly people all around. Nice atmosphere with all the little shops around. Had free parking in the garage next to it

This is a really nice performance center and attracts a lot of talented shows. Its a bit frustrating that the parking is so far away from the theatre. When tend to go see more live performances during the winter holidays than any other time, and walking across the cold icy mall/quad area from the parking garage is not conducive to a fancy night out.

The Center for the Performing Arts is a beautiful venue. There are no bad seats. This place is lovely through and through. And the artist that was performing was awesome. If you have a chance to see Brian Culbertson don't miss it.

I visited the Palladium for the first time to watch Evanescence. It was absolutely gorgeous. Every person working was very nice and helpful. I was nervous about the seats that we had purchased because I realized they were behind the stage. The actually turned out to be the seats furthest to the right behind the stage, front row. It was absolutely perfect. I could read the orchestra's sheet music. The show was fantastic!

Amazing venues with fantastic acoustics. Recently attended the Christkindlmarkt for the holidays and loved it! There was ice skating and cute stores. There are frequent concerts here and the local farmers market is held here over the summer as well. Beautiful place for events!

Easy parking. Sound is top-notch in terms of the room, engineering may vary by show but if you're looking for vocals or strings (at least!), I don't know of a better place to hear them in Indy. Buy the cheap seats -- no obstructed views, either. Drinks are absurdly priced -- $10/shot.

Stunning venue situated in the heart of one of the most beautiful and artistically forward thinking communities in the entire Midwest... Carmel, Indiana. It is home to concerts representing several musical genres, family events, school performances, as well as world-reknown musicians. Voices and instruments sound amazing in the center of this wonderful venue. Our church, Carmel United Methodist Church, also held a Palm Sunday service in the palladium. There was a concert and a passion play and it was incredible!

Not only is the facility gorgeous, but the scale is so much more intimate than a huge concert venue. They have concerts for many different musical tastes (although I am a jazz fan - the Boney James concert was probably the best concert I've ever been to). We also enjoy classical music - thank you for not only hosting Joshua Bell but Silk Road Ensemble too! I keep an eye on the calendar regularly. I only wish the seat prices were a bit more reasonable. For families or seniors, it's a stretch.

Went to the Chriskindlemarkt. It was better than last year, but the layout needs improvement. The central food vendor had three long lines in 3 directions. The whole market area is pretty, authentic, and fun. Definitely worth a visit during off-peak time.

This is a small world class concert venue in Carmel, Indiana proper. It's not very large, but this allows great views to see the stage. The sound in the building is also world class. The seats are of a generous width with ample leg room. During intermission one can go t ok bars stashed just outside the concert hall. Mixed drinks and wine mostly. This is a ritzy venue so one needs to dress accordingly. Enjoy!

Cute crafts, food, mulled wine, and ice skating. It's a real nice gathering spot for a relaxing hour or so with the family. It's closed Mondays and Tuesdays, and the skating times fill up on Fri-Sun. Arrive early and get tickets for a spot later in the day.

Beautiful venue! The unfortunate thing for our group was we were top level, side box seats which means the screen that was set up to show video clips to accompany the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra was obstructed by the speaker cluster hanging from the ceiling. Otherwise, acoustics were outstanding and facility itself was top notch.

World-renowned facility, Carmel-style! The acoustics in the main auditorium actually adjust according to the number of bodies in the room and the weight of each individual, due to sensors in the seats. Really incredible. Must experience a significant event in this facility, when in Indy!

Attended a show at the Tarkington Theater. Nicely laid out small theater with comfortable seating. Access was easy, with free parking underneath the theater. Good show, too. Only downside was ticket purchase process, as website was cranky, so had to call them. And there was a 10% fee for the tickets, which appears to apply however you get them. The fee was mentioned on the website, but not the amount (until you pay, I suppose). If this fee is applied to all purchase types, it ought to be folded into the ticket prices. And if it could be avoided by purchasing on line, they ought to get the website fixed!

My friend and I visited a special free exhibition about The Great American Songbook, specifically The Andrews Sisters. The docent was warm and welcoming...and enthusiastic. A beautiful first impression of The Center for the Performing Arts.

Attended the Farmer's Market. Pretty fun! I'd suggest a kick walk through to determine the selections and prices before making your first purchase. If you see the butcher group with the Pork Burgers, go all in!!! Those burgers were fan favorites and they didn't last long at all. The BBQ lady is one our must haves as well as the waffle joint. Make sure you get there early, they close at 12.

World-class, confirmed by rave reviews of stars from the stage during their performances. I can honestly say that I have never been in a nicer venue. In Carmel, a city with so many gems, this is likely the crown jewel.

It would have been an even better time if there weren't so many rude Carmel residents shoving their way around us and huffing and puffing and running over our toes with their scooters, but it's technically their territory, not mine.
