This was our first time at Stages. My hubby & I really enjoyed Dreamin/The Music of the Everly Brothers. Great, fun show & performance. The employees at Stages were very nice & friendly. We really appreciated the nice facility & convenience of the parking garage also. We plan to come back again sometime.

We went to a play recently after hearing some good reviews and it did not disappoint! The cast did an amazing job. They were able to take a very heavy topic and introduce lighthearted moments without sacrificing the message. I felt a whole range of emotion during a 2 hour performance. I was so impressed by the end. I also thought the bar was pretty reasonably priced for being at a theater and they had a cute assortment of snacks. We ate before so we didn't try any snacks but we got a few drinks at the bar over the course of the evening. I look forward to the next show and purchasing season tickets for the upcoming season!

The seating is a little tight if you have long legs but there is no bad seat in the house. We saw a play called Cullahd Water and it was awesome. The actors were so good

We love this theater. We've seen multiple shows here, and there's not a bad seat in the house. The parking garage (fee) is super convenient, and the lobby and area right outside the performance area is really inviting and spacious.

I absolutely love this venue. The shows are so intimate and every seat is close to the performance. The staff is so personable and really enjoys working with the patrons. The snacks and drinks are very economical, and the location is great. Parking is easy and affordable as well. I look forward to seeing many more shows here.

It was raining very hard but surprisingly the area outside was covered as we approached the entrance. Seating was uncomfortable because there was no room to unbend my knees while sitting.

Thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience! Very intimate spacing allowed us to feel connected adulting the play. Great actors that can sang! Took my mom on a date to see the “Sit In” play and we will definitely be back for future plays.

Beyond the great plays here, I cant praise the staff and amenities enough. We got free tickets, free tacos, and free cocktails!!! Parking was $10. Staff is incredibly friendly and personable, restrooms are amazing, chairs were comfy, it wasn’t too cold. Our drinks were awesome, shout out to the bartenders for being so kind as well. We saw Body of Christie and enjoyed a poetry reading before the show.

A very nice new facility. No frills, but nice. Parking garage with what seems to be ample parking. Seating in theatres is on three sides with around 7 rows on each side. The show is performed on the floor which might be about 30 ft by 20 ft. So the people sitting on the front row could, in some cases, literally touch the performers. A very intimate setting. There are two theatres at this facility. I believe drinks are available, but if food is, it is VERY light - no restaurant. I won't comment on talent of actors as they seem to be different for each show.

Great theatre space! Attending New American Voices (NAV) curated by The Landing Theatre Company, a local non-profit company. The facilities and staff are superb. Parking can be complicated if you want free. Street meters are free after 6pm which helps. Valet parking is available at the front door. I recommend seeing a production or two, three here. Enjoy and support local, independent theatre.

Went to see Who Shot John Valance with my wife here. Overall the show was well done and there were really no down periods. I do recommend that you were a jacket as it can get kinda cold inside.

Intimate theatres. Beautiful facility. Just saw another great show. Bring a wrap...it can get pretty chilly. Parking is in very convenient adjacent garage. Covered walkway so no weather worries. Customer service is excellent. They make it so easy if you need to change your ticket date.

I saw The River Bride and loved it! The production was amazing and we'll done. All actors performed great and really made you believe they were those characters. Music was also well done. I definitely recommend seeing a show at the Stages theater as I don't think you will be disappointed.

Upscale theater, you should dress up. Very professional and friendly staff. Tickets were pricey, but afterwards I felt like it was totally worth it! We saw Murder for Two and had a fantastic time! It is a small, intimate theater space, you feel like you are in the set!

Love, love, love this place. It's currently a very intimate, affordable and often interactive entertainment venue. I've attended many shows here and have always been very pleased with the performances. There's usually an opportunity to meet and greet the performers after the show if you're so inclined. They're in the process of building a new facility. Can't wait to see what's next.

Great intimate theater! Wonderful performances....world class actors and musicians!! My only dislike is the ancient chairs for miniature people and No leg room. And a shout out to a pretty good bar with excellent bartenders;)

I saw the interactive Cinderella performance about two weeks ago and it was wonderful! The actors did an amazing job and they engaged the whole audience, even though we didn't all get a one-on-one experience in a scene. From what I saw, the younger kids really loved it and my college-aged group appreciated all the current pop culture references and innuendos. All in all, a great experience. I would go again to the same show.

Love this place! Went here on my first date with my now fiance and we've been back a handful of times. The theater is intimate and well maintained. The plays we have seen have been hilarious and always so much fun! Parking can be an issue sometimes, they have a lot right across from the theater but it is small, so if you don't want to roam the streets to find a spot you have to valet.

Went to see the 25th Putnam county spelling bee. It was a great production. The facility was also really nice, parking garage conveniently located and cost a flat fee of $10.

I've volunteered here and seen shows. The cast is phenomenal, the theatre is kept clean, and the staff knows what their doing. The little pet shop of horrors was awesome. It honestly took my breath away. If your ever in Houston I highly recommend seeing a show here, you won't be disappointed.

Very clean facilities, high quality performances. Last night's production of River Bride was fun. Some of the twists were not predictable and the double twist at the end was intriguing. The stranger was a great character and the performance was quite passionate. The two sisters played great opposites and the transposition of strengths and weaknesses was clever.

There isn't a bad seat in the house and I have NEVER seen a bad show there. If you haven't seen "sister", she is a MUST SEE! I see her every year when she comes to town. Her shows are hilarious and she interacts with the audience. The first time I saw her she asked me my name, I did not see her the following year yet 2yrs later she remembered my name and called me out while onstage, asking why I wasn't there the previous year. She is amazing, and side splitting funny!!!

To park there is a $5.00 fee and parking is very limited and shares what limited parking there is with a restraunt . So I advise going early. Lighting is also poor in the parking lot so it is advisable to walk with a friend. Inside the venue is well kept . Staff is very friendly. There is a small drink bar for your confession needs. The theater seats are arranged so wherever you sit you can see. However there is very, very limited seating for handicap or limited mobility. So you need to let them know when you purchase tickets. Theater seats are padded but extremely, extremely tight . Anyone over a size 4 will be uncomfortable. The show itself was very well produced. And the thespian were well rehearsed , and a honor to there field. I would also recommend that you take a jacket. It was extremely cold.

A wonderful delight. 2 very talented actors and musicians nailed it. They had us laughing and interested throughout the show. I dont know how Ben managed to change characters so quickly and effectively. Stick around after the show to tell these actors how much you enjoyed it. Trace and Ben were very personable and appreciative of their audience.

We saw A Murder for Two there recently. The show was a little different then what I expected. The 2 performers still put on a good show though. It's a small theater which is good because no matter what seat your up and close to the show. The employees were very helpful and polite to us. There is plenty of seating in the lobby and outside while waiting for the doors to open. Parking was offered down the street for $5 which was very reasonable.

I love this venue all the seats are pretty good. It's in a great location close to downtown but without the hassle of traffic and parking. I have seen about 4 shows here I was not crazy about the last one but all the other ones were amazing. In my opinion this is one of the best medium theaters in Houston.

Saw the latest Late Night Catechism and it was a blast. The venue is pretty good too - attractive, good acoustics. But the seats could have been more comfortable. Still, I'd come back and watch other plays here.

I truly appreciate this company. This is definitely one of my favorite places in Houston. I find the atmosphere to be comfortable and personal making me feel part of the production itself. Productions themselves are delivered by an incredibly friendly and warm staff whom operate in the upper echelon of professionalism. Needless to say the performances continue to keep me a loyal and faithful guest. I hope to see Sister Mary again next year for what will be the fifth or sixth time.

This is the definition of an intimate setting. There is no seat in the theater more than 30 feet from the stage. We saw "Murder for Two." The acting, singing, and piano playing was spectacular. So if you decide to have a cheap date night, or just like to be within the show, you can't go wrong.

Second year attending the holiday panto show and we are never disappointed. The theatre is a bit on the older side so the seats and a bit cramped. Every seat in the house though makes you feel like you are right on stage with the actors. Being able to interact with the actors is also a highlight and makes the show that much more fun. Limited snacks are available so i recommend eating before hand. They do serve alcohol and this year they had themed drinks. My only comment is they ran out of one of e the liquors that was a main ingredient and had to stop making one drink. Definitely take your family to see the holiday shows. I can’t wait to check out what they have throughout the year as well.

Love this theater. The venue is very intimate and I haven't seen a bad show yet. Sister's Halloween show was particularly wonderful and gave me a much needed 2.5 hours of laughter.

I'd see a show every day here if I could! EXCELLENT venue. Every seat in the house is good. The theaters are very cold so bring a sweater or shawl. Parking is nearby for $5, or you can park in a smaller paid lot that is right outside the front door (if you get there early enough). Friendly staff!

Stages puts on great productions and the ticket costs are very reasonable. If you haven't been yet - I recommend a visit! The theaters are a bit more cozy, seating about 75. There isn't a bad seat in the house.

Great theatre company with shows for anyone and everyone! Staff is friendly and helpful. There is a small concession stand with several snack and drink options. It has two stages and both can get quite cold. Bring a sweater. Recommend 10/10.

I have seen two different outstanding musicals here. A Christmas musical and Xanadu. The humor is quick and witty. The singing is great and you're sad when it's over. Highly recommended for a fun night out.

Enjoyed going to the black box to see "We Are Proud to Present a Presentation About the Herero of Namibia, Formerly Known as Southwest Africa, From the German Sudwestafrika, Between the Years 1884–1915." Would have liked to try their drink selection since you can bring them inside but we were running late. Will go here again to see interesting and thought provoking theatre.

Stages is the best theatre in Houston! The staff is knowledgeable, friendly and goes out of their way to provide a great experience for each customer. It's a must visit place for anyone who needs something to do on a weekend or if you are visiting Houston for the first time! The smaller theatres make it easier to connect with the actors as they also will interact with the audience sometimes. Do not miss out on a wonderful theatre experience.

Love the theatre But beware. About 2 pm 7/24 I was directed to park in lot off D’Amico. Platinum Parking Female attendant on site. Collected payment and directed drivers. Found front corner of my car scraped. Damaged.. I am very unhappy . Will be expensive repair.

This time, we saw Sister's Summer School Catechism show. It's part of the Sister Educates You series and is always hilarious. There are many theaters in Houston, but Stages excels with the quality of their offerings and performances in an intimate setting. You can't go wrong seeing anything they offer!

Late Nite Catechism Las Vegas is full of laughs and fun beginning to end. "Sister" never fails to disappoint with one-liners and good natured advice from her Catholic perspective. Be advised...don't get caught chewing gum or drinking bottled water during her "class". You will get called out. And if you can name the last 5 Popes you'll earn points.
