So the comedy is not always 5 star, it's improve, you never know what your gonna get... But the service is great, the awesome price for a date night in Hartford, it's fun and funny, snacks and wine are reasonable priced, I'd say parking is the biggest issue and I don't hit them for that. Thanks for a laughs Sea Tea (CT) improve teams!

Total fun time. I dropped in to watch a friend perform. Nice location and totally modern inside. $5 donation and I got way more entertainment for my dollar. There were 4 troops doing improv. Highly reccomended. Nice selection of beers and snacks too.

The people who run the theatre are so warm, welcoming and friendly. The tickets are typically only $10 each, which is a bargain for the quality of shows they put on. They have two live performances by great groups every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. The shows are always new and different, and really funny. And they're Improvized so they are new every time. They have a great beer selection, and candy available at the bar. The seats are comfortable, and have cup holders for convenience. There are no bad views of the stage in spite of having a larger structural column at the front of the audience, because of how the seats are arranged you can still see everything. The space has a nice homey feel while still feeling professional. It walks that line really well. I'd highly recommend checking it out. It makes a great date night spot, something cool, different, and pretty inexpensive.

While the room isn't that large, the comedy is ample. The group that performs here is very entertaining. I'd recommend it.

I came here with some friends to see the stand up show on Friday evening. it was only $10 for the tickets to get in and it was so worth it! The group was really funny and the audience was great with the suggestions provided. They have a little bar where they served beer and wine which made for a great addition. I'd definitely go back!

Wonderful experience. Great vibe. I bought the ticket to Mystery Switch only because it was too hot outside, but it was the most fun 90 mins on my trip to Connecticut. Must check out.

This is the freshest comedy served in CT. I always have a great time here. Tons of laughs and creativity. Highly Recommended. I have been to their traditional improv shows, family shows with my kids, and longer high concept special presentations. The venue is intimate without being crowded. Snacks and beverages at great prices including alcohol. Take a break from the standup clubs and come here. If you love theater this is for you. The downtown location is excellent with food and other entertainment near by.

It was a very nice venue which provided a comfortable atmosphere. I went there for an improv comedy show which I was VERY pleased with as all the performers were excellent. The setup of the chairs is kind of like a movie theater feel and it is very personable be cause you are close up to the stage. They do not serve food but they do serve snacks and they also serve beers, tea, and sparkling spiked seltzer. I enjoyed myself and will definitely return as I enjoyed the vibe.

The show was great. The place is a little small but that's alright, you can get a good view from anywhere. There's a bit of an odd smell when you first walk in. But it must be coming from a neighboring building or something. It's gone by the time you round the corner. Don't let that throw you off, keep on going.

I love seeing shows at Sea Tea because the view and the audio are always great! I have seen a variety of performances here, and it's great to see so much talent from in-house Improv comedy teams and also from out of town visiting performers alike! There is accessibility solutions for those who need them, and there is ample (pay) parking and some free parking nearby. Great little gem right in downtown Hartford!

One of my favorite places. Being improv, the shows are all different and unique. They also have stand up, sketch shows and a number of different styles of entertainment. The staff is largely performers so they are friendly and funny as well. Very welcoming, open, diverse community. Most shows are Fri-Sun but there is often something during the week as well if you check the website. The group teaches classes as well. The performers (and the theater!) can also be hired our for private training, workshops or performances.

There were some funny bits and some not so. Sometimes it felt as if we were paying to watch a workshop or rehearsal instead of a performance. But there were some clever and creative bits and lots of good audience participation especially from the kids. Worth the price of admission.

Pretty affordable shows, 10 - 15 bucks. They have snacks and beer/wine. Absolutely hilarious most of the time. I've never seen a bad show, maybe a few "meh" ones but it's imorov comedy so that can happen. For the price of admission the chance of that happening is well worth it for all of the side splitting comedy I've seen while there!

Pure fun great place for couples new and experienced with each other. Sea Tea is a hidden gem in our capital city. I encourage you spend the 10$ to support local artists rather than some out of touch celeb at the movies

Live around the corner and finally made it over here. Service was good/friendly and the establishment itself is clean and nice. I thought the show was pretty funny and for the price (only $10/ticket) worth it.

Excellent comedy theater set up. As is very important with venues like this, the vibe is cozy and relaxing. The acts range from amateur (and sometimes cringeworthy) improv to absolutely hilarious standup from local, up-and-coming comedians. Support your local arts scene and swing by!
