We have never been disappointed by a Theatre B performance. They select thoughtful and compelling plays that always make us think or laugh - or both. The actors are outstanding. And the entire experience, from being greeted so graciously when we arrive to the show and the friendly community, makes us look forward to the next performance.

What a treasure in the FM area! It's so much fun to see contemporary work and so well done. Will be back.

Amazing experience here! I saw Theatre B's production of "The Cake" and it was incredible. Very raw and moving and impressive performance and direction and all around production. It's amazing to see a theatre doing work like this that NEEDS to be performed and doing it WELL! Can't wait to return.

The smallest, but mightiest theatre company in Fargo-Moorhead! Their mantra, "Rearranging furniture of the mind" is spot on. This is the magic of theatre, folks. Don't miss out on this hidden gem.

Went to a performance here last spring and it was great! The performers are phenomenal and the space is a converted school (I believe), so it's a really different atmosphere, very intimate, and very cool.
10/10 (well technically 5/5) recommend going to a show here if you get the chance when you're in Fargo-Moorhead.

Wonderful space for a play! We went to see a performance by The Knaves Iambic, a group of homeschool children performing Shakespeare. what a wonderful job they did!
Being in a smaller space it was easier to see and hear the performance. It's a smaller disagree holding maybe 100 people, quite cozy. The chairs are just big enough for most people, they kept or very comfortable for viewing and had an intermission to get drinks.
The performance and concessions were priced reasonably. I'm glad to see we have a smaller theater and would happily go back.

I've loved everything I've seen here. It's a great, cozy place to see a play. I see nearly every play in town and these guys are the best! I've been on the fence about going a time or two, because I'd never heard of the play, but was so happy I went. This theatre just never disappoints me. Can't wait to see the next one!

I went to "Cry It Out" and all the actors were excellent! I especially like the performance of Maren Jystad-Spar, who played the part of Jessie. I felt all of the emotions the character went through during the course of the play... AMAZING!

This is an independent theatre company who goes out of their way to present something that will make you think. You aren't going to the Orpheum in Minneapolis to see 'Cats'. Their facility is great, very earthy and real. The staging is amazing considering the space they have to work with. Excellent lighting. Superb sound. Beautiful lobby. Easy parking downtown. When there is a full house, it heats up a little, but I am certainly not going to take off points for a company who can pack the house. Overall, how can it be anything less than 5 stars? They are helping the boom of the arts culture in the Fargo-Moorhead area. Thank you for all that you do!

Theatre B produces thought-provoking, heart-wrenching, conversation-starting theatre that has the capacity to alter a person’s perception of the world. I will never forget how I felt after watching “Good People,” a play that taught me, in part, how to have empathy for people in situations I did not understand. It taught me that my understanding of someone’s situation was irrelevant to how I should feel empathy for them. It literally changed my outlook.
Theatre B also pays its artists, something I believe to be critically important. Their talented Ensemble includes real heavy-hitters like Carrie Wintersteen (who was TRANSCENDENT in “Wit,”) and Missy Teeters (whose performance in “Church and State” forced me to take a hard look at some of my own opinions about gun control).
My favorite productions of Theatre B’s have been “Next Fall,” “Good People,” “Hand to God,” and “Church and State,” all of which, I feel irrevocably changed me in some way. Now in their 16th season, I am looking forward to seeing “Cry It Out,” which examines the standards we place on motherhood through the eyes of three mothers. In Theatre B’s capable hands, this promises to be another fantastic production.

A great place to see a play. A lively community theatre, in a residential neighborhood.
