The Town Theater's productions are always fun and always well done. We've seen many productions here, and always enjoy it. They're currently doing "The Play That Goes Wrong", which was fantastic. Chip Collins is a generational talent, and the props/set creation was fantastic. Great time!

Attended the Christmas Story musical this past weekend. Small, quaint venue and an enjoyable rendition of a classic. Pleasant and personable staff, superb cast and we will return! Columbia has some great entertainment venues and this ranks up there with the best!!!

Jan 2023 - after supper at Hunter Gatherer, our group made the easy walk to Town Theater for the Play. We’ve seen many productions over the years and always enjoy and appreciate the 100 year old building. It’s especially fun when you recognize local friends in the performance.

Had the absolute best time today! First time visit with my mom and son to see Elf the musical. They have the best musicals in town. I'm thinking about investing in a membership to see 5 season shows for a very good price. The people all always so nice and friendly when attending a musical or play. It's highly recommended that you visit this theater at least once.

Very much fun. Saw Joseph which featured local performers. The price was only $45 total, the excitement high , and the crowd friendly. Not Broadway quality, but probably more enjoyable.

These guys did a fantastic job. I was in town for work and wanted something different, and this is exactly what I was looking for. It’s amazing to see members of a community come together and put on such an awesome show. Billy Mishop (Ms. Trunchbull) was fantastic! Nathan Jackson as Bruce, and Juliet Greg as Matilda were all amazing actors. Congratulations to you all!!

I went here on a surprise date. This small cute community town theatre was perfect!!! Such a fun show and atmosphere. Everyone was very nice, relaxed and enjoyed the show. This is a secret hidden Gem......:)

Mary Poppins on Saturday, November 7th was excellent! The actor playing Bert was fabulous and the actress playing Mary Poppins was fabulous too! The kids Michael and Jane did a wonderful job! my only complaint is the seats. The new seats leave no legroom and are extremely uncomfortable on your back for 2 1/2 hours. I thought the renovation of the theater seats would be more comfortable and more roomy but they're not. The seats are Very close together leaving no room to cross your legs or stretch. Red Velvet Cake War play was not up the the quality of other plays. I would not recommend this one.

We saw Hairspray on 5/26/2018. This was exceptional. The cast was amazing. The vocals were strong. Our new favorite is Lee Martin. We certainly hope we will be seeing/hearing a lot more from her and from all those in the cast!

I've always loved Town Theatre and their productions. Just be aware that they do not require masks nor do they space out the audience.

Went to see The Hunchback of Notre Dame today and it was amazing! This was my first visit to the town theatre and the talent of the actors was outstanding! I was really blown away! Kudos to the staff, cast, and crew on a wonderful production!

One of my favorite spots in all of Columbia! Wonderful variety of shows, always well cast. Convenient downtown location close to many restaurants - perfect for dinner and a show. They also offer fantastic opportunities for youth to get involved through youth productions, auditions, camps and classes. Very welcoming - great staff!

The quality of shows, the preservation of the historic theater, the atmosphere while attending shows is so delightful to enjoy! I sat in the back row and still had a clear view of the stage. Staff was friendly and helped accommodate us into a sold out show. We saw million dollar quartet. We were highly impressed by the talent of the actors and quality of the production we believed it to be a show that travels. We later learned that the talent was local!

Tonight my Scott and I along with our close friends went to see The Hunchback of Notre Dame that was presented at the Town Theatre in Columbia. This was an awesome production and the cast was phenomenal. Jeremy Reasoner who played Quasimodo has an awesome voice and played the part exceptionally well. Looking for something to go and do, go check this out. Running though October 8th and well worth the money. All of the staff at the Town Theatre was exceptionally friendly, warm and inviting. They greet you at the door and make you feel like family . Thank you everyone at the Town Theatre for a fantastic night.

Oldest continually running community theater in US. Located in an historical building..draws great talent from community and USC students. Some productions better than others; however I continue to attend year after year. Always a variety of performances through out the year. Celebrating 100 years.

Went to see "My Fair Lady," which was fantastic. Unfortunately, I am larger than the seat capacity was designed for and the airplane style seating left me feeling cramped and uncomfortable. If you're a smaller lad or lady, check this place out as the entertainment is fantastic!

My mother and I have had many enchanting evenings at Town Theatre. The theater is the oldest continuosly running theater in the US. This only adds to it's charm. I have yet to see anything on that stage that was off color or offensive. It seems the plays are picked 0*

Historical /traveling

It is a small historical stage performance theater, but they put on great shows. And if you have kids that want to do a show they do a little one week long practice and play.
