My teen daughter takes Aerial silks classes at Elite. They have been amazing to work with and she loves it. The instructors are so kind and friendly. My daughter is enthusiastic to learn more. I find their rate to be reasonable. They also do theatre productions and we recently saw "Days of the Dead". It was fantastic and we went home raving about the show. Give Elite a try, you won't regret it.

My first experience with Elite dance theater was last winter 2022 when I attended their Days of the Dead show--suffice to say, I was absolutely blown away! The ticket prices are not too expensive and worth every penny. The dancers and actors did a phenomenal job and I was completely enthralled with the story line. There was a wide variety of dance and action/fight scene type of choreography, as well as the use of silks! Because it is a small more intimate "stage" and seating area, seeing and hearing the movements made by everyone throughout the production would give me goosebumps! It was pretty rad. I am quite excited to see their Scarlet Letter production this spring and cannot wait to see how they interpret the story through dance!

We LOVE LOVE LOVE Elite Dance! We are still brand new and from the moment our daughter enrolled, she made frie ds and was welcomed by everyone. The classes are structured to accommodate beginners as well as those who have advanced. The instructors spend time developing the skills of all students. The instructors are AMAZING! Such a friendly and supportive and encouraging environment. This is demonstrated by everyone at Elite. You definately know you are valued and are immediately part of a family that genuinely cares for you. So blessed to have found this amazing studio.

The instruction and variety of classes at Elite is superb! Beautiful dancing, aerobatics, and acting in a healthy and loving atmosphere. Our teenager just started this year but, feels loved and cared for even as a novice. Thank you Elite!

My kiddo loves her aerial class, it’s a rare find in Albuquerque. The staff is always friendly and the communication is clear and welcome. Recommend Elite to any one looking for dance or theatre classes. They also do wonderful living room style shows.

Magical experience! I saw Peter Pan and was blown away with everything from the cast to the ambience of the venue. You can tell everyone there loved what they do and put so much passion into their work. There was even delightful snacks and tea during intermission! I will definitely be back for more and would recommend this place to anyone who loves the arts and a great experience! Great job Elite!!!

Exquisite studio, with excellent instruction and somehow really nice kids. My daughter typically enjoys the circus arts, but recently took up ballet and loved that too! Exceeds every expectation!

We have been at Elite for almost four years now, and we love it. My kids get a strong foundation in technique in their dancing. The kids get to be in really amazing shows twice a year that are really special and impressive. The older kids and adults in the company are the kind of people I want my kids to grow up around; they are kind, inclusive, and wonderful role models. The teachers are sweet and wonderful. The studio is clean and comfortable. I could say so many good things. Finally, the adult company shows are fantastic. They are such an artistic combination of dance and acting. Their ability to tell a story is beautiful. I highly suggest both this studio and their shows. Thanks for everything Elite.

My daughter has been dancing at Elite since she was 3 years old . The children's program is top-notch - instructors are wonderful with the little ones. The Jr. Company was such great fun and training for her as she got older - more performance experience in both dance and acting. I grew up in a ballet studio where recitals were held - it is so refreshing to be a part of a studio where a show is held instead - a story unfolds with each class a different character and part of the story. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

My daughter has been studying at Elite Dance and Theatre for over 5 years and is now a junior company member. Elite is not just a dance studio, it is a community with a body positive culture of support and mentorship. My daughter is known and considered as an individual for both class placement and feedback. The other junior company members have become some of her closest friends and positive role models, which I value just as highly as learning the craft. The time and money spent here pales to the value of the instruction, confidence, and friendships she has gained.

Elite is a family-oriented studio that truly seeks excellence and helps dancers learn accurate and beautiful technique while encouraging teamwork, self-discipline, healthy body image (caring for the whole person), and serving others through stories, art, and friendship. Their kids program helps students grow in the lifelong skills needed for their age level, from bilateral coordination and following directions for the youngest ones to healthy core training and public presentation for the older ones. We are thankful for an honest, affordable, friendly studio!

Wonderful studio for children and adults! They perform several amazing theater productions each year. I really love their dance and acting programs that my daughters have participated in. I have always appreciated Elite’s high standards for technique and for their choices of dances and shows which really sets them apart from any other studio in the Albuquerque area!

Elite is not merely a “dance studio” like many others. Elite is a family of extremely talented artists working together to elevate the minds and hearts of its students and the community as a whole. The level of instruction is top notch and the culture of the studio is one of immense positivity and support. As a mom of eleven, I have had several children (and even a spouse) train and perform with Elite. I can tell you with my whole heart that Elite is an investment in the total formation of your child. My daughter has absolutely loved participating in the kids program at elite! She does it all: jazz, ballet, tap, swing, aerial, acting. Every instructor is knowledgable and talented and they are caring to boot! They see her as more than just a number but as a person they can invest in and help to grow in good character! I'm a big fan of Elite Dance & Theatre. They provide classes in the usual dance such as ballet, tap, modern, etc but they have added silks, swing classes and dances, acting and many other special programs for the needs of the various performances. They teach to little ones up to adults. It's a friendly but professional atmosphere, and the students do and learn. Their shows are blackbox, with minimal props and stage backdrops, but it's fun and relatively inexpensive to drop in and see a show. Full disclosure: my daughter has been involved as an instructor since the beginning, my other daughter works the box office, and I have three grandchildren who are in "The Company". Elite Dance & Theatre is a wonderful studio for students to learn a wide variety of dance including ballet, tap, jazz, swing, aerial (and acting) from a terrific staff of professional and experienced teachers. The environment is family friendly and supportive. Students get many chances to perform throughout the year in Elites active schedule.

My daughter and I have been a part of elite since before she was born. Now at 15 years old, she has had such quality instruction that she is excelling in multiple areas of dance including ballet, jazz, tap, aerial silks, swing, and contemporary. She has also had many opportunities to improve her acting and singing. My son has recently started working with elite, as well, in acting, swing and tap. As a parent, I cannot say enough positive things about the atmosphere and the many life lessons my children have learned. It is a place where my kids choose to be above almost anywhere else. Dancing with elite has been a privilege! The studio atmosphere is welcoming and the staff are friendly and professional. The art of dance and theater is beautifully preserved in class, and then seamlessly transferred to the stage. Definitely a unique and talented studio in the Abq area.

I have learned so many different skills being a student and company member of elite Dance & Theatre! Professional of all aspects in dancing and theater are there to teach you the skills you want/need, whether it's dancing, acting, singing, aerial, stage fighting, etc. An organized, safe, and respectful environment. They are family.

The studio, classes and instructors are all very good but I am disappointed with the "showcases". You have to pay extra to be in the show and the tickets are $20 each to watch the show. The kids get about 3 minutes of stage time. Most of the show features the instructors and "apprentices". And you are not allowed to take pictures or video and they do not give you a program so you get nothing to remember the experience.

I have been doing swing dancing and some acting and dancing in the Elite company, and I have loved being a part of this company. I would highly recommend if you want to learn to dance, or do theatre.
